TAKE A WALK ON YOUR WOMANLY SIDE

It had been quite some time since Fuuen had seen anything resembling civilization. Well, so far as he was aware, anyway. That was one of the reasons he'd come to this place, wasn't it? To find, hopefully, someone who could offer insight on his situation? Well, he could only hope that search proved fruitful. For now, however, he could do little but become familiar with what he supposed was his new home for the forseeable future.

Ah, there seemed to be some small commotion. A few voices of surprise here and there. Well, no sense ignoring his future compatriots, yes? He followed the conversations, and it wasn't long before he'd found the topic at hand. So it was a woman? Well, he supposed that was understandable. Most did, after all, find some value in the pursuit of women, but Fuuen was fairly certain that he had never felt such a pull. Still...there was something about her which kept him from looking away. What was it? Perhaps the aesthetics of the dress, the way the whole attire fit her so well? No, it was not that. It was certainly nothing so simple, but he could not place it.

Shaking his head to recenter himself, Fuuen once more made his way off, shrugging to himself at the distraction. That hadn't proved particularly fruitful at all, had it? If he had different priorities, he likely would have considered it a pleasant distraction. Well, no matter. He had quite a few things to do, and so he pulled his ever-present journal, filled with notes and reminders, from the pocket of his coat. He'd put his list of priorities somewhere among its pages, but where--

...Ah. As he'd thumbed through every page, he'd come across a sketch assuredly done by his own hand. He remembered, however distantly, that he had drawn it. But accompanying it was page after page of the notes he had taken. He was fairly certain he could not have even said this much about himself, but it was clear, just from the amount of information here, that he had known her. Perhaps more pressingly, it was clear that he had not wished to forget.

Imbecile.

With more purpose in his step, he returned to where he had seen her pass by, but of course, she was already gone. That was hardly surprising, but he was not one to quit. He would find her sooner or later, wouldn't he? It was simply a matter of trying. A matter of remembering, if he could manage that.

It was a common day in the Seireitei. Hime was completing her daily duties and observing things in the Gotei. It was always her habit to bring any info of intrigue to Abalia's table. She was walking through the division barracks, surveying as was her duty. However, within the corner of her eye, there was some commotion she had caught wind of. Curious to see the source, her eyes find themselves laid upon a sight that seemed as if it were woven out of a phantasmal mind. No. Absolutely not. It couldn't be. She saw Takehiko Kuchiki and Himiko, a fox-tailed shinigami from the seventh but none of that left her speechless more than the sight of Elyss.

In a dress. In a dress. Dress? Elyss? No, it couldn't be. It had to be an illusion of some sort. She was beautiful, certainly, and the outfit accentuated her curves more than one could imagine but no... it couldn't be. It just didn't work. The laws of the universe would fall at the seams if it were. Still...

"Elyss... i-is that you?"
