Artist: Kevin Gates - Song: Plug Daughter - Word Count: six hundred and fifty
A great tunnel stood infront of a woman, the woman had been in the human world but it was obvious she hadn’t belonged there. The street she had been on had been dead, not a car to rush down this normally busy high way. It was the dead of night, and all had been at home, or just waking too begin their day. A song would play lightly through the air, it wasn’t one made of man.. no, it was a song that ran along with the wind, it would shake life into the dormant tree leaves.

A rustling would kick up with the song of the wind, and the woman’s ears would perk too it, as the wind would push along chunks of her long ebony hair, her golden eyes would glance down. She seemed frozen in some sort of fear, she had remembered something... A memory she never even knew she had. It was like, the halls of her memory had been painted over, and some how.. the paint on one of the halls had faded. She was happy she had been alone, she had never felt this way before.. or, had it just merely been too long since she had felt this way.

A rush of excitement would bolt down her spine, as if lightening had hit her at the crown of her head. Despite her golden eyes, the woman had other oddities about her: Horns that had curled around her head, interestingly enough- they had been halo like, as if mocking the concept of angels and demons. Looking up now, the woman would look too the tunnel and begin too walk towards it. The long white silk like fabric of her dress would trail after her, the dress would fit too her hour shape bodice as if it was attached too her, and long dark wings had been on her back, in a relaxed manner.

She’d enter the cave and be swallowed by it’s darkness, the dim lights of the cave would slightly illuminate her, and she’d raise her arms slowly and her wings would flick forward, black feathers would dance around her and she’d disappear.. going back too the place of her memory. The feathers would suddenly appear in another area, another realm. She hadn’t known why she knew of this place in the Demon Outlands, the scenery had been completely different, and her golden eyes would go through it. It looked exactly how she remembered it. The rust colored skies, as if the blue had worn years ago; the clouds, they had been an off grey and would dance in the skies. It seemed even a purple hue would swirl through the sky, as if their own Aurora Borealis and that had been the only way one would be able too tell the difference from the sky and the crimson colored grass below, silver and white flowers had been opened up through out the field of red.

A pastel river would be spiraling it’s way next too the over grown pathway she stood on, she seemed right next too a rather old looking high way. Green flowers would be fighting through the cracks. She had seen portions of the demon world when she had been with Queen Mana, months ago, but now she had decided it would be best too see the area that had haunted her mind for the past two months. River would take a few steps towards the road and she could feel that even the air had been different. Why had she been here so long ago, and why did she not remember any of it.

Was it a happy memory, or a sad one.. well she wasn’t aware. All she knew that she had been here, staring around, she’d stay a little while; take in the new surroundings.

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

Kamui's last foray in to demonic lands...involved a far less directed and intended purpose. This time however, he was here on "serious business" instead of the far more fun alternative of "srs bsns" variation that he had employed on his last visit. That was a sad memory, Kamui was beginning to miss Sasha. He recognized the necessity of their distance, but it did sting a bit that one of his toys was so far away. On this day however, Kamui had a purpose, Kamui had a directive...and good god that directive was boring. So he naturally did, immediately at that, the opposite of what he was supposed to be doing. Sasha had given him the means to enter this place easily enough and Kamui himself was talented enough at avoiding detection that unless he decided to run headlong in to heavily populated areas, he wasn't at any real danger of being discovered...or at least that was what he believed. He had taken off the beaten path and had found himself a delightful, or at the very least as delightful as things got in the demon world, little cave. It presented a unique opportunity. Were caves different than the ones in the Sugiuran or Human worlds? He absolutely had to know...mostly because the alternative of his actual purpose here was just so amazingly boring that the cave sounded preferable.

So in he went and...well...it was a cave. There were differences of course. Demon caves weren't quite cave caves, for instance everything here was substantially more...brown. Though brown wasn't really the word for it, everywhere had a lot of brown. No, rusty was a good word for it, a sort of sense of embittered decay. Kamui wasn't really sure how he felt about that. On one hand, he was never one to shy away from a little decay, but at the same time this place was so...final. "Evil" had won. It certainly put things in to perspective why the demons were so fascinated with the human world, they weren't nearly as bored there as they were here. Their toys weren't spent. But then he discovered that caves weren't caves in this realm, oh no. He had, naturally, managed to stumble upon another world, another realm, simply by meandering through a vaguely described cave and in to a world of...well...this place still wasn't very vibrant but it was still better than the cave.

He had managed to avoid people for the most part in this world, though he'd hesitate to refer to any of these creatures as people to begin with...or the humans as people...which from their point of view was not considering people to be people...humans were a rather self-important lot. That luck didn't last for much longer however. He had spent little over fifteen minutes in this new environment, having slowly kicked himself up in to the air and floating tenderly above the aforementioned "pastel river." It was then that the woman had followed the path he had just adventurously trail blazed, however there was a little less air of exploration and a little more...cognitive dissonance between their styles of trail blazing. Kamui had no idea where he was going and had found this fun little venture entirely on accident. This woman seemed to know where she was going, seemed to have a plan, but at the same time seemed very in awe of her surroundings...almost confused at them. It was curious to be sure but not normally something Kamui would care about, his focus would typically be on her other assets, and it was, but at the same time he was here on a mission. Even Kamui had some reservations regarding his extra-curricular proclivities, so as Kamui slowly descending from his airborne perch behind her and then he would just have to ask her the obvious question given her bemusement of her surroundings. The question on everyone's mind.

"So are there any unattractive female demons? Statistically you have to assume there is at least one but I haven't met one yet and I'm really starting to believe math lied to me."

The golden orbs of the Davana of Dysphoria would glance over the area, as her nose would twitch at the a peculiar scent in the air, however she would dismiss it, considering she had these odd memories of this place. Taking a few steps forward, her ears would perk up slightly at a sound, and she’d turn around too the words of a stranger. His question would cause a soft smile too tug at the corner of her lips, and she’d look over him. In all honesty, she had only met two other Davana’s before, the Queen and what she could say had been a child of Mana. A woman she recognized as a Queen, however, River hardly saw the creature as her queen . She’d tilt her head too him.

“The two i’ve met are monstrosities, but still beautiful in their own way.” She would respond back as she’d look too him, curiously, as if he’d be a rare creature her eyes never seen- and that had been exactly it. “Math is a human concept, so of course it is flawed.” she added as she’d begin too circle him, her dark wings would follow after her. It seemed the davana’s very existence mocked that of the Christian belief system, there was a thought that River had once started it, but she didn’t dwell upon that thought, she didn’t really agree with any religion, but that was pretty much because her existence disproved most of their claims. She’d stop once she’d make a full circle around the man, as if determining he hadn’t been a threat too her, that and she didn’t really care for death. She had died many times already.

“You appear human...” she’d ponder and would lean close too him, her nose twitching. “...but you don’t smell like one.” She’d look up too him, curiosity swimming in her golden pools. “What are you?” she’d question, she had lived many life times... but it had been centuries since she’d interfere with the time line, and she had learned from the Queen of Davana many things, she had thought she didn’t know of a realm where her kind ruled, and yet here she was. It was like this place was a foreign dream, every turn had been incredibly familiar yet there was a new air around it. Had she truly been here before?

She’d blink slowly, her gaze not leaving the crimson haired man in front of her. Yes, she had indeed been here before, there had been no doubting it.. and she wasn’t alone the last time she had been here either, however, she’d dwell more on her thoughts when she was alone. This creature infront of her, had been interesting too her. Too think, there were more beings she had yet too learn about, amusement would strike her like lightening, that meant there was much more for her too learn.

“Oh, sorry.. how rude of me.” She’d bow too him respectfully, “I am River Sage, but please; Just call me River.” she’d look up too him. That was pretty rude, she’d ask what he was before his name, it had been a long time since she had any interaction though, well, any normal interaction with a non human, typically she hated anything that wasn’t human, most of the time the creatures deserved it though. River hadn’t know what he was, and wasn’t going too attack something she knew something about. That was too American like for her, she was more multi-cultural if anything

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

He doubted her definition of monstrosity. He had a vague idea of what Mana looked like and "monstrosity" might describe what she was, but not really what she looked like. Kamui's eyes trailed her as she paced around him, a sort of childish and bemused grin trailing across his features with each step she took. He supposed it did make sense, he was the invader here and it is only natural for someone to be wary about someone who clearly does not belong in their world to be there, but there was something rather amusing about a demon, the creatures human mothers told their children went bump in the night, was pacing around him like a frightened dog. Though, he supposed that wasn't fair. She wasn't really a dog, but the same curious apprehension was rather adorable. Of course, he wasn't really a threat to her unless provoked and she seemed, to be more than willing to leave him unprovoked, at least for now. Thankfully, he was also somewhat of a challenge to provoke. Normally someone would react negatively to a demon suddenly breaching their personal space, but Kamui barely even moved as she encroached and then promptly started...sniffing him.

Maybe his dog analogy wasn't far off. He didn't show much discomfort from it though, instead his smile widened. She was a beautiful woman, even as a demon, and Kamui was shameless, something that was quickly reaching "word of the week" levels of over-usage. He had to control himself to keep from laughing at her follow up comment however. Of course "Looking human" was something that barely could be used to classify humans at this point. So many races either did or most definitely could look like humans that having such an appearance was hardly the best way to evaluate race. Though if the woman had never seen a Sugiuran before, perhaps she wasn't the best judge of what was effective, though he couldn't say there were any half-breeds outside of his own family. Perhaps it was not unfair that she had never seen what he was before.

As she bowed and said her name, Kamui moved. It was his turn to uncomfortably sniff the opposite part of the conversation and he wasn't going to be denied. As she bent down to bow as if she just naturally believed every humanoid being, he landed quite delicately on the ground in front of her and mirrored her bow just enough for his nose to be but a few inches away from her hair. However as opposed to her delicate sniffs, Kamui's was considerably longer, considerably more intense, and considerably creepier. But again, shamelessness. Kamui didn't stay that close to her for too long though, both because he didn't especially want to completely overstay his welcome, just mostly, and he wasn't really sure how prone to violence she was. She was a demon after all and an actual fight was something he was hoping to avoid, at least for now. He didn't recoil too far though, still within arm's reach as a soft sigh followed his long sniff.

"You do smell wonderful though, how do you demons do it? I was expecting sulfur."

The answer to what he was wasn't necessarily a secret. Who he was on the other hand was a little more...questionable is a good word for it. The Sugiura in general were obscure to most of the demon population though and as River had so wonderfully pointed out he did not necessarily smell like his human half. He didn't know that Sugiurans had a distinctive smell though, was it pleasant? Kamui took his turn, hovering back in to the air a bit to take an equivalent bow, being sure to mimic River's as closely as possible, letting himself stay in that position as he spoke to her with a voice full of unabashed comfort in what was normally a remarkably peculiar situation.

"You were about half right. Human on my father's side, Sugiuran on my mothers. You may call me Kamui."

Artist: Nonelikejoshua Song: What it means to be human Word Count: Nine hundred and Six

As he bowed towards her, he’d be able to notice a faint mist that had started too emit off of the ground, it’s be similar too Mana’s own mist, but it was far less... invading, it seemed too stay around River. A growl could be heard as he’d take in River’s scent, there was definitely something different too her scent, it was almost similar to a scent of a new day, when the morning dew had just danced off the slivers of green( or red, depending on where you’re at) grass. The growl hadn’t come from River however, if he’d be able too glance up he’d see a small child at her side, forming from the smoke. This had been one of her eternal partners. A small girl had been clinging too River’s hips, and as she straightened from the bow, River would place her hand on the violet haired girl’s head. She resembled River in some ways, she even had her own wings, however- unlike River’s own ebony wings, Scyllia’s had been a deep purple, matching her eyes.

She’d instantly hide behind River, once he’d show some attention too her, but her gaze would not fall off of him. A boy’s laughter could be heard from behind Kamui. However, the owner of the voice wouldn’t give him the chance too look behind himself, before moving too River’s side. The two looked as if they belonged too some odd, manga, both dressed as two adorable lolli’s. The taller of the two would speak up, the obvious boy in drag. “Don’t be mean, Scyllia. River sniffed him first.” He would chuckle, as he would adjust his crown and smooth out the bottom of his dress, and then move too fix the girl’s ‘Scyllia’s’ outfit next.

The girl would murmur something softly, but the only words River would be able too hear out of it was. ”Pervert..” Chrrybdis would laugh softly at his sibling’s words. “These are my partners...” River would smile softly too him, seeming unaffected by his advances. “Scyllia,” She’d point too the quiet one, and then rest her hand on the boy’s head, being careful not too mess up his crown. “This is Chrrybdis.” she added and would look too back too Kamui. He seemed decent enough, it wasn’t like he attacked her head on. she could feel it, scratching at the pits of her stomach, a demon could only act like an angel for so long. There was a path of blood in her memories, a path of destruction and death.. but it wouldn’t make her a demon if her memory was a clean slate.

“Human... hybrid...” she’d repeat softly.

This was odd, she knew humans pretty much bred with anything they could get their hands on, but who knew the genes would be compatible. She would stare too him now, as if he had been a puzzle and she had been prepared too solve him. She’d cross her arms and move too rest her hand under her chin as she stared too him. He’s be able too see his own reflection in her orbs, as if her eyes had been as hollow as a mirror. “Sew-gu-ren...” the words had been alien too her tongue, and she’d repeat it again”Suguiran...”

“I say go for it.”
Chrrybdis would say suddenly, as if reading River’s mind. She’d look too him, as he’d begin too fondly stroke his sister’s hair, and Scyllia would continue too stare, her eyes blank. It’d be hard too decipher if she hated him, or just hated people in general. “I... do not wish too harm any human, so please, you are free too decline this offer, but I would like too spar with you.” She spoke too him calmly, her tone had been different now; almost war-born general esque. “I-I...” ]“She tries too save trash like you.” Scyllia would speak up suddenly. “Those who are weak, those who can’t fightfor theirselves. She’s died many times, you should be honored.” The girl’s words would be sharp as knives, and dripping with venom. Chrybdis would smack Scyllia over the head and the two would be locked in a glare. “Be nice, Scyllia.. say sorry.” She’d frown and look too River, as if saying ‘do I haveeee to’, River would however sigh softly and push Scyllia forward. She’d look away and mutter an apology. “Louder.” Chryybdis would snap and Scyllia would cross her arms and her form would ‘fall’ as she shifted back into the mist that seemed too envelope her.

“She doesn’t like anyone, but she’s typically kinder.” Chrrybdis would explain softly. “Also, if you need anyone too fix your braid, I can help you.” He’d wink as he’d curled hair within in his palm. River and Chrrybdis would suddenly lock eyes, and she’d nod. The two seemed too be speaking, but without their words. River would have too hold back on this fight, Scyllia’s restlessness had been spawning from the fact River hadn’t unleashed her true nature. No doubt after this fight she’d have too find somewhere far away from people...

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

It was an interesting smell, one that would typically be attributed to perfume were she a human, however she wasn't really bound to conventional rules like "smelling like a living creature." That might just happen to be her natural scent. It was something Kamui found simultaneously infuriating and highly intriguing about demons. Some followed logic and reason and they did have a set of rules...then they could at any time choose to tell those rules to shove it and do completely random and seemingly nonsensical things when it came to a state of existence. It wasn't the most prominent thing that had happened when he inhaled however. The woman seemed to be propagating mist around herself, an action that Kamui reacted to with all the speed and grace of the laziest of sloths. Then man didn't even move as the mist sprung up around him with naught much more than a bemused look on his face. At the outset it would seem that his indifference was the result of ignorance or confusion, it wasn't. He knew that this was some kind of power the demon held, some kind of ability, mist does not just spontaneously appear. No, Kamui wasn't ignorant to its origin and had every justification to fear its sudden appearance, but he did not. He was arrogant, almost to a fault. He did not believe there was anything this woman could really do to him, or much of anyone for that matter. It was arrogance he had earned, but it was still arrogance. Would River recognize it for what it was? He was too arrogant to care of course but the viewers probably sorta kinda do.

What happened next was considerably more interesting than the mist though. Demons were such an interesting breed. He had gotten intimate with two so far and Blank and Sasha could not be more different. The words Rakshasa and Danava being used to describe them respectively. He believed based on what he learned just which subset would make these kind of apparitions...that and she felt far more like young Blank than she did Sasha. The enormity wasn't there, Sasha's presence was ridiculous. River's was not, she didn't carry the overwhelming existence that Sasha did. Danava was the more likely descriptor. He didn't have a whole lot of time to mull over it though as the apparition immediately became defensive and quite offensive at the same time. It was honestly rather rude. The girl who had materialized next to River had...well...unpleasant didn't really begin to cover it, look her her face as she glared at Kamui. The young man's head reflexively tilted to the side as he met the small creature's gaze and his body gently floated away from River's, giving her some semblance of space for the first time since "The Sniff." Then a second body appeared and the first voice to follow. Kamui's tilted head now angled toward the other...boy slash girl slash androgynous Japanese male's dream. This one had a more pleasant disposition at the very least. Kamui didn't really move or react after floating away, letting River introduce her two little companions with the same bemused look on the young man's face.

Then she asked something he was definitely not ready to hear. The demon wanted a spar? Well, he supposed that was not entirely out of the ordinary, demons were by nature a very violent people so actively searching out violence was not so far outside their nature, but it did not detract from the odd timing of the request. What made it even more strange was that...she picked him of all people to have this altercation with. She either couldn't really sense what he was because his efforts to hide himself were effective enough that she thought he was the stereotypical human, a theory which was further reinforced by the little girl, or she actually thought she could take him, which would most likely mean a miscalculation on his part. So it was obviously the first one, Kamui could never miscalculate. A small smile formed on Kamui's face as the little one spouted her little diatribe about how Kamui should be honored. If the demon had really spent as much time as she claimed dying for humanity, Kamui was genuinely surprised she didn't recognize the family resemblance. What she had just described had literally be his father's job description since he manifested in this world. Kindred spirits perhaps. Unfortunately, River did not meet Sagumi and instead met the son who was in no way fond of his more human side. However, River had no need to know that and her seeing him as a human was advantageous for the time being. Of course, he couldn't help but hint toward the opposite.

"That's very sweet of you to offer, I'm rather sure my mother would have to eat you if you touched my hair though. She's somewhat protective. As to your request, I am not in the habit of doing things for no reason, so let's add a little wager shall we? I require a guide. If I emerge the victor of our spar, I'll have to swear you in to my servitude until I reach my destination. Should you win, well, I'll agree to whatever you might come up with. Are my terms agreeable?"

Yeah, arrogant was a good word.

River would not have inched away from him during this entire encounter. She seemed unfazed entirely by his actions, however; there had been interesting characteristics too what he had been exactly, his mother. So they bred like humans it appeared, she’d glance too Chrrybdis who’d frown at his words. ”Don’t worry, i’d braid her hair real nice as well. If she’s pretty enough, maybe i’d even let her have a nibble.” He’d move too give a peace sign, tilting his head as he’d grin and fall in the mist, much like his sister. Servitude? Her gloved hands would push a few strands of her hair out of her face, and back behind her shoulders. “All I ask is for information, thank you for accepting the challenge.” she spoke too him as her wings would move close too her bodice, and she’d pluck one of her longer feathers as she’d look too it.

Suddenly the feather would shift into a wooden wand a blue orb shining on top of it, and she’d smile too him as she’d tap it against her shoulder softly. ”Anta Lana...” she’d speak softly. Activating her favorite ability, the Vidvansakas had been creatures of her own creation, their name translated roughly too “Destroy” which had been their main goal in life, to destroy or be destroyed. Her loyal warriors.

He’d begin too notice it now, forms and shadows dancing in the mist; creeping towards the two. The Mist seemed too cover the area now, however River had allowed too for him too be able too see the figures. The odd area seemed too get a bit stranger, as the white mist painted over any landscape. The two seemed too be just standing on different shades of white. He’d be able too see her golden eyes however, shining like a light house in a storm. The figures would begin too almost suck up, she had positioned one of the five Vidvansakas too be in front of him, not too surprise him.

After all, she didn’t want too kill him. This was a test too her, a test for her abilities, a test too see how well this human hybrid could survive. Did the human half weaken his other half, or did the other half compliment humanity’s genetics and conditions too survive. She felt like a child again, excited about something completely new. The Vidvansaka that would appear infront of Kamui would appear too be a horse at first, sucking at the shadows too form itself greedily. The dark horse would be adorned in armor, and would start down too him, the creature would tower over Kamui and he’d notice dark wings on the beasts side, but that wasn’t it. It appeared the beast would have a winged rider still forming, however.. the beast wouldn’t give it’s Master time.

It’d jump down, attempting too trample the hybrid underneath it. River had summoned four others, two other shadow Vidvansaka and two light Vidvansaka. Glancing next to herself, the forms would be swirling into life, to defend their creator. She’d move and rest the wand against her chin, she was curious if he could track her scent like she could track his. She was curious too his potential, had they all been like him. How did he get here? These would be questions she’d have too ask once she won.

”Try too make this quick, River....” it had been Chrrybdis’ voice, a warning tone too it. “I won’t lose control.” her voice was soft and a harsh quick whisper. ”If you do?” it was Scyllias voice now. River would frown as she’d glance too the two headed monster behind her. The creature had been taller than the Vidvansaka by a couple inches and be staring down too her. It looked like something from a horror film, it had four arms and four legs. Chrrybdis-Scyllia had been one creature, and in the mist was the only way a person could see its true form.

Their hushed whispers would not doubt be silenced by the Dark Vidvansaka that had been trying too trample Kamui, and now it’s Rider would have formed, a great spear in it’s hands. It had been adorned with armor, and he wouldn’t be able too see what exactly the rider was, even though it appeared humanoid.

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

"I enjoy long walks on the beach, freshly popped corn, variety in my sex life and my right pinky toe is one tenth of a millimeter longer than my left pinky toe.

That was probably not the information that she was looking for, but what information she actually wanted was not especially pertinent until she did manage to win. Of course, the thought was quickly chased from his mind as she pulled a feather from one of her flight inducing ornaments, a feather which quickly manifested as what seemed like a small scepter...demons were weird. Of course, Kamui watched with child-like awe at the whole scene unfolding before him. Not because he was especially intimidated or even vaguely considered what was happening to be a threat, but because the scene unfolding before him was amusing. He had never seen a creature pluck one of their own feathers to create a weapon before. Maybe it'd work on other demons? Did a demon pick an eyelash and turn it in to a whip? He'd have to go find a demon and experiment by pulling off random bits and see what he could fashion in to a weapon. He was already finding very interesting things to do with his time here.

Then the stick actually started doing stuff. The red-maned young man's head tilted once again as the mist that the girl had been perforating through the area slowly began to coalesce in to a more corporeal form. That was an interesting trick. Was this girl a summoner? The beast she was making SEEMED to come from the mist but that could be simply be a, literally, smoke and mirrors trick for his benefit. She could actually be summoning a creature from somewhere else for all he could tell. Based on its mannerisms though, Kamui did not believe it to be sentient however, its actions were not one of an intelligent creature but more of a feral animal. A feral animal River seemed to be able to point at something, but a feral animal all the same. That was kind of boring, but maybe it was just the attitude it wanted to portray. More smoke and mirrors weren't out of the realm of possibility.

Kamui watched as the horse-like creature with the still materializing rider tried its darnedest to step on him. Unfortunately for the thing, it was very very very very very slow, at least when lined up next to Kamui. As the behemoth creature encroached upon his personal space, Kamui dropped his center of gravity for a quick moment, his eyes shifting to the ground for one fleeting glance before the man kicked off, darting away with a rather impressive sense of grace and elegance as he artfully dodged the stampeding creature in a manner akin to how a cheetah would dodge a turtle. As the creature would finish stomping its big scary hooves in to the ground, suddenly that very ground explode underneath it. The oscillation mine triggering beneath the behemoth mist creature. Typically, the Oscillation Mine was not the most devastating of spells a Sugiuran would have in their arsenal, but Kamui was a magus and a terrifyingly powerful one at that. What would normally only knock a person over if used by a normal person would instead completely topple the creature and, if it wasn't especially durable, completely relieve it of the leg that stepped on the mind, ripping the limb to shreds with the pressurized air waves the spell released. Hopefully there was more to the things or this was going to get somewhat boring somewhat quickly.

Kamui landed from is dodge and his eyes quickly returned toward River, a childish smile on his face as if he was proud to have successfully added two and two. It was rather obvious that for him, this was very much a game and that while he was able to outmaneuver her constructs fairly easily, that he was barely tapping the reserves of his abilities. Maybe the little girl had learned her lesson about assumptions, but Kamui was hardly the one to teach that lesson, he had been assuming things about her abilities this whole time and it was, eventually probably going to bite him in the ass. For now however his face indicated that the man hadn't a care in the world and was eagerly awaiting what she had in store for him next.

"So some uniform ideas I want to run past you when you're my servant..."

Artist: bmth Song: Snakes start too sing Word Count: Six hundred and fifty six
The creature would be hit suddenly as it would tumble over, it’s Rider however seemed too jump high over it’s fallen creature, and would move too peirce Kamui in the shoulder as he turned his attention too River. The crimson haired hybrid would be able too see two more Vidvanvakas the horse and rider creatures. One would resemble the shadowy one he had introduced with, but he’d notice a glowing one at River’s side. This horse was so pure of a white that it would most likely hurt the untrained eye. It’s eyes shined brilliantly gold, as if recently polished. It’s rider appeared too be a golden energy, cloaked under white and gold armor, two blades at the Rider’s side. She’d glance too the flowing Vidvanvakas and it would charge at him, bringing the blades too cut his side, and running past the warrior off it’s horse.

River had been a general in this form, and he hadn’t even met all of her soldiers yet. She’d glance too Chrrybdis-Scyllia behind her, and smiled gently, and the younger one of the two would speak up first, it’s triangle like head tilting in curiosity. ”He’s pretty fast, but he’s still an idiot. “ River would shrug her shoulders and take a few steps back, standing next too her partner.

The horse that had fallen earlier in battle would be seen dancing through the mist now, circling the group fighting, the warriors seemed too work together like a well- oiled machine, as if they were controlled under one central mind. The horse would have been the relative speed as the other, it seemed as if River didn’t battle as much as she could have. She however, hadn’t been worried. She had many tricks up her sleeves and didn’t find the need too fear death, she had faced it before, and she even doubted this was a life or death battle. Although, she was getting bored.. she could send that itch start too creep up her muscles. River would however, try too shrug it off, and with the second attempt it would be successful. She still would keep an ax wielding shadow Vidvansaka at her side, not too mention the two others who were still in the mist, watching and waiting for the perfect opportunity. She would summon anymore yet, he hadn’t appeared too be able too kill it yet.

Too say River had been impressed, would be an understatement, she would smile too him as she would watch him, hoping too see his reaction too her warriors jumping him, the Vidvansaka had been creatures who didn’t feel pain, atleast... that’s what she thought, it was either that or they enjoyed it greatly, they enjoyed destruction of all kinds. Buildings, people, each other, even though they rarely killed each other- there was one time when she was still learning, but that was a couple life times ago- they just lived for destruction was all. She was always curious too the Vidvansaka, but they didn’t speak like a normal human, or any other creature... or at least, they never cared too speak to her, which would be rude, for lack of better words. Then again, if the Vidvansaka didn’t enjoy destruction as much as their name and behavior implied, then that could be why they didn’t speak too her, because she had been the rude one, oh well.. she’d continue that thought some other time.

Right now she was more so curious too see the outcome of this battle, Kamui had clearly been hiding a lot of his true potential, if not all of it. But she had a feeling he had too be some type of strong, after all.. he survived who knows how long in the demon world thus far.

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:

Unfortunately, even if his attention was diverted, these things were just a little too massive to effectively "sneak up" on anything, especially something as small as Kamui was by comparison. As the massive spear raced toward his shoulder, Kamui's center of gravity dropped as he affixed his torso parallel to the amusng ground below him. Before the spear could finish its thrust however, Kamui had shoved himself up, intending to drive his shoulder in to the hilt of the weapon as his left palm shot for the things face. The boy had a stoic look on his face as just moments before contact would be made, a massive explosion jettisoned from the boy's hand. Unlike a normal explosion however, which would typically explode outward from the epicenter of the blast, all the heat and kinetic energy from this flew forward in a cone around him, seemingly designed to fit just right around the contours of her construct's head. He had noticed that the last explosion he used on the horse did not quite hit its mark, the creature had reformed rather quickly and had moved off to stomp around the perimeter.

"If this doesn't work...maybe a shellfish allergy I can exploit?"

Kamui would not have been given time to really appreciate his work however as the second one started barreling down on him. The man pushed off the ground, catapulting himself backward as his hand stretched out. A seal on his palm glowed rather vibrantly as his weapon was being conjured from a far away place, giving River just some insight as to how he managed to get there in the first place. In his hand formed a small, cylindrical and slightly curved handle, a handle that did not remain just so for very long. With a flex of his arm muscle, his chi flowed in to the small handle and it ignited in to a small bladed weapon of pure chi. Kamui landed, skidding slightly on the ground before the angle of his feet shifted slightly, deeply rooting himself in the ground as the creature's axe descended upon him. The weapons met and the weakness that belonged to Kamui was shown, if only for a brief moment. Even with the massively larger amount of energy at his disposal, physical strength was still something he lacked and he could not overpower the creature through strength alone, the force from their bodies effectively locking their weapons in place. At least for a moment.

"Sonic Blade."

Kamui's weapon, without much further notice, cleaved clear through the axe that had been deadlocked with it only moments prior. There was a pause after the creature's weapon was no longer whole, both because Kamui had just finished cutting through it and for the most dramatic of effects. The next part would happen in a flash. Kamui launched himself forward, quickly slashing across his body and aimed to cleave straight through the creature's torso. If given the lee-way, Kamui would go straight through the upper body of the rider, cleaving through the torso and cutting the creature in half. If his strike was successful, Kamui would grab the severed wing out of the air with his free hand as he twisted slightly in the air to point his sword back down at the spot where his brilliantly white adversary had just been.

"Dry Blizzard."

This magic spell would collect the carbon dioxide in the air to produce particles of dry ice. The dry ice would then be launched down at the creature, rocketed down at high speed by converting the thermal energy produced by the freezing process into kinetic energy. The dozens of large ice particles would, should they connect, completely rip through the creature, looking to take off bits of its head, arms, a couple shots through the torso etc. Assuming all went according to plan, Kamui would then land, mid-artful twist, back on the ground a few meters from River as he vaguely noticed the horse from before circling around them. His attention however was far more fixated on the wing in his hand. As Kamui began to poke and prod at it before shaking it, with progressively more aggression.

"So for the uniform, I was thinking something traditional you know? Something French, you know, the things the people who dust things wear...why...won't...you...make...me...a...stick!?"
