His eyes remained focused even when they brought him in here. He disliked doctors offices especially when he was being wheeled in. Qiang had gotten strong sure, but now the new shroud or whatever you wanted to call it. That was a problem of its own as it seemed to consume things for later use. He learned so far from his silent time while they poked and prodded him. They weren't exactly forthcoming with the information of what they were doing. Glowing hands and rubber gloves among other things. Sure he had a nasty cut on his chest from that giant man's sword. But it didn't require all of this drama did it. And Yusuke said he'd not find his way here. He was sure karma decided to give him a break, his hands were damaged a bit also. This was indeed a problem he'd not thought about. The man's strength and raw power were exceptional in its own way. He'd thought progress and perhaps some sort of method to the madness had been made. But in the end, the only truth was that he'd begun to discover how helpless he was.
The trial of all leaders it seemed, destined to fail every time they tried to succeed. Warrior's who lost in some cultures had to commit suicide. This was close enough in his mind, being medically treated and tested on like a furry bunny. He thought his people were overly obsessed with magic and healing. But this place took it to a whole new level when they did it. They had people in beds and wounded lying there being taken care of. He deactivated the shroud, for now, this was easier to control from the other one. But he'd not be able to unlock it's full power anytime soon. His scythe was different also, instead of being big and noticeable. It was inside his body now or that shroud like thing. What all could he reap with his power. That was the main question that had to be asked. His head laid back on a pillow much too comfortable to sleep on. He'd had better luck resting on a pile of rocks. Not exactly how he thought he'd find his way to the Seireitei place.
Carted in like some prize hunt waiting for them to do something. They put strange cuffs on him of some kind. They claimed him to be some manner of being known as a Ryoka. It was a strange word to use for a guest. The cuffs didn't really do much, but clash with his outfit and attire. Oh, and they itched a bit for him. But at the moment they didn't do much to him. Though his Shroud had done something without him knowing it. It had reaped the powers of the strange stone and cuffs. Making them ineffective against him and a bit useless in this case. He sensed that the scythe had been taking things on its own for a while. Trouble was Qiang didn't really have any idea how to work it or use it then or now. What he needed was someone sturdy and capable to test this on. After all, it wasn't like he'd not get a chance at this entire thing again. Circumstances being where they were he was currently behaving himself like a good guest. Though he wished they'd get his title right and stop calling him a ryoka.
He didn't wear the shiny crown at home because it looked pretty. Or because of a popularity contest of some sort. Or perhaps Ryoka was their way of saying King in this country. Mirja spoke a strange language perhaps they did as well.

4th division was boring. They were all flashy and zappy and ran around like headless chickens being chased by a small version of Godzilla. Probably Minorspiritzilla. Or something to that effect. They certainly didn't seem to have an idea where they were going until they had already gotten there. And despite numerous checkups by these people, they had no idea in the slightest how to help her. Which sucked. The only Captain Mirja had ever managed to be amazed about was Unohana. She was terrifying, and really good at healing, she made the best nurse. And was so friendly when Mirja offered her a cute nurse's uniform. It was just politely declined and that was that. Somewhere in her life, Unohana must have learned a great deal if she could just take Mirja's antics in her stride.
Still, there was something up right now, and it wasn't just the chicken people running around. She smelled something familiar, and so directed her wheelchair in that direction. It was a smell like something she had smelled previously and was pretty happy to do the smelly smell. If she had to put her finger on something and say it smelled like that, she'd say it smelled like....
"Qiang!" The Wolf exclaimed, beaming broadly as she saw her friend. And then stopped. Wait, why was Qiang in the 4th squad barracks? So she rolled over to him, and stared at him, with her tail swishing behind her, and the chair making little noise. "So, why are you here? This place is generally for people that got hurt, and or were an idiot. You, don't really strike me as the second kind of person, which must mean you are the first kind. So what kind of thing stuff gave you the hurting?"
