The man seemed to have a relaxed look on his features, today he was here in the capacity as the King of Vastime. Having stepped out of his lands he now was the living manifestation of the will of his nation, but truth be told... he wasn't stressed like usual. Of course he arrived in his more traditional robes, but he wasn't at odds with the Gotei. He had faith within them, and perhaps that could be exploited- but truth be told he didn't think would happen.

He'd enter into the division which he would be operating closely with, to meet with the captain who he was supposed to meet with. With the war having happened it made it hard for either of them to meet, but during this cease fire he made sure to set something up. Seeing as he was one of the foremost leaders of Earth, he doubt she would decline. He'd heard much about her, and was excited to see this new face.

Once he walked past all the Yurt's, he'd keep his head out to find the Yurt which was supposedly her own. Man this was gonna be a doozy. Hopefully someone could point him in the right direction, or she'd find him.

"Yahoo~ Your Highness!"

Murasaki called out from the door of her office yurt, a slightly larger affair than the rest that sat in what was more or less the head of the field. It was actually off center a little but, but she hadn't realized that until the whole arrangement was already well into construction, and at that point she wasn't gonna just tell everyone to start over. It was close enough, and that was all that mattered.

Walking over to the king of Vastime with a spring in her step, Murasaki offered him a very deep bow of greeting, which was then immediately followed by holding out her hand with a very finely made piece of plum mochi in a small glass box. It actually cost a rather exorbitant amount of money, but she didn't say that. She'd had it special made as a favor, given how much plum mochi she normally bought for herself anyway.

"Welcome to Seventh Division! Sorry we couldn't get together sooner, I know the war got in the way of all that. But it's good to finally get to meet you proper. I'm Kagayaku no Murasaki, but just Murasaki works for me. Or Captain Murasaki if you'd rather be a little more formal. Whatever you prefer."

"Ah thank you, Murasaki. Hayden will work well enough, we are within your lands after all." The man would offer his own small bow as he took the box from her, provided she handed it out to him. It was a nice gift, and truthfully he had never had Plum Mochi before. So he was going to be interested in trying that out, holding it aside as he came to his full height seeing she notably taller than him.

That was alright.

"I have too brought a gift, in behalf of the people of Vastime." The man would reply reaching into his clothing to remove what looked like a small black case, once opened it would be a burnished iron cross. "I apologize it isn't as tasty as what you got, but for the efforts the Seventh have rendered for Earth and Vastime we've saw fit to present your division a token of our thanks; The Iron Cross of Vastime." The small black item was surrounded by velvet, with an inscription which read: Amicitiam Unum. Followed by 'Seventh Division' under it.

The man would offer a smile provided she took the gift, holding the one she gave him. "Shall we go somewhere? I suppose we've much to talk about."

"Ah, that's true, that's true. Alrighty, Hayden it is."

Bowing once more in thanks as she accepted the honor from Hayden, Murasaki inspected it quite carefully, her gaze surprisingly serious compared to what had literally just prior been a jovial and cheery girl. This was, after all, a genuine honor, and she didn't want to seem like she wasn't taking this seriously.

"Well thank you, Hayden. We do our best up here, I'm glad that we're doing things right."

Naturally, this would go in a place that merited its stature, and she turned to lead the way back to her yurt with a small beckoning wave, to show that she was leading him somewhere and not just walking off.

"My office should work, the canvas is surprisingly thick so nobody'll overhear anything."

"Wonderful, sounds good." The man would nod as he began to follow her, seemingly accepting of the serious nature. He could respect it, to show great respect for such a gift was good in his eyes. Provided things kept going like this he was more than happy to interact with the young woman. But once he entered her office, he gave it a once over assuming they'd sit somewhere.

He'd hold the Mochi up before commenting. "Ya' know even when I was a member of the Gotei, I never had Mochi." The man would laugh, seemingly just easing the mood. "Please, share it with me. Before we get to talking and all that serious stuff. Should be able to break it in half.."

Smiling as the two entered into her yurt, Murasaki naturally gestured to the seat right across from her desk, tilting her head to one side in a girlish gesture of surprise. Well, she hadn't expected that offer, but she definitely appreciated it. She hadn't expected him to never have had mochi, either!

"Whaaaat?? Never!? Oh man, you've been missing out! God, I dunno if I wanna just take half of it... But, alright, if you insist."

Grinning slightly at her own enthusiasm for the mochi, Murasaki moved to the elaborate 7th Division banner that hung behind her desk, an ornate thing with many wooden carvings and gold ornaments all about. Upon one of the ribbons in the center, she attached the medal Hayden had given her quite proudly. This way everyone could see, and know the 7th Division had earned this.

Desmond upon seeing her place the award up would smile to himself, opening the case with the treat inside. With a small amount of effort, little to none, he'd break it nearly perfectly in half. Before extending one of the pieces to her, and taking a bite. He was pleasantly surprised at the flavor finishing the treat quickly afterwards.

"Wow that was good, I gotta learn how to make these. Me and the wife, like to bake from time to time." The man would comment off-handedly, one of those little humanizing things about conversation. But he'd take a seat if once was provided, assuming it was to be in front of her desk. Once the pleasantries was done, he'd rest his hands on his knees.

"So! Where do we begin?"

"Wow, the Captain Commander likes to bake? I'd honestly never've guessed that. She's always so focused and stuff, I thought she'd probably just be doing her work even when she went home. That's kinda a cute thought though, hehee."

Murasaki poured herself a cup of tea, then made another for the King and slid it across her desk for him. Whether he drank or not wasn't a huge deal, she just wanted to be polite.

"Well, I guess we should get right to the biggest thing, huh? I know the war's not over yet, but I don't know when it's going to start again. I've done my best to keep patrols in good positions in case it starts, but what are your plans? Do you have something in mind?"

Hayden would accept the tea with a nod, going to take a sip of it. It was quite a pleasant taste, very in line with the eastern ways. But he'd set it down as she now had his full attention. Another nod was offered his face becoming a tad more serious, as the aura of the room begin to tighten. Not in a malicious way towards her, but when a man such as Hayden focused, beginning to explain.

"With our foothold in france, we seek to make one shift movement to reignite the war in Europe, pushing into the heartland and liberating the mainland. I have some scattered allies in the natives. Naturally, my general, Atlas d'al Decter; you may have seen him during the trial." The man would explain shifting as a hand came to be placed against his knee.

"The Vastimian navy is such I can have it operating Atlantic ocean on the US East coast; and supporting my main force on Europe. I want to attach a contingent of soldiers to aide in America, and ideally request aide in return." He'd point out. "I myself, will be making a strike on London when the moment arises. So you will need to be communicating with my general."

It was good that Murasaki was so in control of her emotions, or her breath probably would have hitched in her throat at the mention of Atlas d'al Decter. She'd come to terms with everything that happened, but still, it was a name she'd come to associate with bad times.

"Most of the Gotei, to my knowledge, is going to still be focused in America. I think if that's the case, I can try to offer Seventh Division's help in Europe. We have one of the best patrol systems of anyone, so I can keep tabs on most of the world too, send you intelligence on other movements people might not catch."
