The Sharkskin Rail is rather simple in appearance. Taking the appearance of a standard gun, with a rather drab paint job of grey and white, along with a slightly elongated barrel, Sharkskin is quite the simple item. The gun fires off standard-sized Vastimian Ammunition, although with a bit of a twist on the effects. While the usual Vastimian Ammo is commonly associated with piercing physical defenses, Sharkskin's ammo is meant to pierce spiritual defenses. This is something that can piece low-level (Adept) defenses rather easy, as the energy and metal that is compressed to form the ammo are from Henrex himself. But, nevertheless, this has its fair share of downsides. While this has special properties, as Henrex designed this to be a variant of the Hellhammer -- the standard sidearm for Vastimian soldiers -- it shares many of its drawbacks with the original. Hosting only seven rounds before taking a post to reload, and having a rather slow firing speed in general leaves it as a pretty situational item.
