A Dragon | Nothing More, Nothing Less

The Adjuchas could not believe that this unfulfilling piece of meat was still alive. Alive and fighting back? She would not be having that. Akira would shunpo above her and fire his Tenran, and the Dragon would fold her wings in front of her to block it. The winds hit her head on, but the reishi platforms she instinctively formed beneath her feet helped her do little more than skid backwards. Her form was not thrown off guard, she was not moved any more than a few dozen meters back, and yet still she kept charging her attack.

"You refuse to stop and think to yourself, utter waste." She called out to Akira, a pale grey glow starting to shine through the holes in her tattered wings. "Are you even worth it?" She wondered, and the moment those words left her mouth, her wings flew open, spreading wide and disrupting the latter half of the hostile winds released at her to reveal the cero she was fully charging in her wide open, razor toothed maw.

"I think not."

Reiryoku would burst forth from her mouth, The Dragon releasing a fully charged cero just as Akira fired his Hadō 88. The force sent shockwaves through the air while screaming reiryoku raced towards screaming reiryoku. In a violent clash of opposing energies, their beams collided. Neither overwhelming the other, they simply met each other and proceeded to explode in a violent burst of kinetic energy. The explosion would blow away any of the rubble left over from her introduction of effluvia into the now thoroughly destroyed environment, and that would leave the Dragon snarling as she waited to see what the man's next move would be.

AKIRA TAIRITSU

There was a brutal heaving from the inner lungs of the Shinigami, wettened grass staining white attire that had been all but marred by other fluids, acidic sludge and vermillion that likened him more to shades of pink, hand moving only the slightest as the shockwave of such a violence only had flung him across the air and across the ground. To say he was barely able to stand was an understatement, head glancing outward at the plume of steam that rose into the sky, a silhouette of a Dragon of which didn’t seem dead.

."U-Unfortunate….

The current injuries which littered the man was all but testament to his durability and capacity to focus, though this Adjucha was far too strong, the damage done, fear coursing through his body and core. The emotions of raw, primal, instinct to flee taking ahold, his goal was to save atleast someone and nobody existed left to save, not a single member of the Gotei in sight.

They missed this -thing- that would only grow stronger? Joy.

With that a choice was made, Akira muttering a soft apology into the cold air to those who once used to be the inhabitants of that town, now fused with the Adjucha to be forgotten into memory, another town that goes missing into the night and fuel one of these primal entities. Akira decided to flee. His right hand moving to grasp Rivu-aiasan’s barnacle like hilt, effectively using it as a cane for most as the orbs of salty liquid came to take him away from this place, though such a component of this liquid did elicit harsh growls and shrieks of agony, salt and open flesh was never good.

A Dragon | Nothing More, Nothing Less

The Dragon's stance relaxed once it became clear Akira was no longer a threat. The man was battered, beaten, practically a dead man walking. She could eat him right then and there. But why? What nourishment would she get from that? If these pitiful, powerless humans didn't sate her hunger, then why would this man? He was so weak, he couldn't even be considered worth consuming. And so with that, she simply turned around in the air and trotted across the air with a casual, unconcerned gait.

"Learn your place, meat." Was the last words she would speak to Akira before simply vanishing. To the untrained eye, the Dragon truly would just cease to be there, like she never existed in the first place. To even the slightest of trained gazes, they would notice how quickly she opened a garganta, pushed herself through, and closed it behind her. Like she had teleported through worlds, but no quite. Not yet.

Hueco Mundo was empty, about as empty as her mind was after a meaningless bout like that. There was nothing left for her there, hardly anything for her here... what was she even doing again? Her muscles didn't feel anymore sore, any more powerful, and her hunger didn't feel any more sated than after that fruitless tussle.

Everything that had happened, she thought definitively while laying down in the open fields of white sand, was so pointless that it would likely be forgotten once she next awoke.
