A Kind of Magic[Hannah, Solomon]

"Hm..."

Solomon was rendered speechless by a confusing stream of revelations filling his ears. There were so many things to unravel in every admission, but he simply let her words hang in the air for a moment, his only comment little more than a dumbfounded reaction to it all.

"You two... seemed to have quite the eventful evening if it involved healing kido of all things..."

"You look cute when you are confused" Hannah would tease, giving him an out so he didn't have to worry so much. And then she would decide to pour some more oil on this fire, and take a bite of her food, before looking up to him with a teasing smile.

"So, you still a virgin?"

"Huh...?"

His dumbfounded expression shifted into one of inexplicable shock. He understood the need to change subjects, but it would've been incontestably false to say he expected such a question in a setting like this. How did one reasonably respond to a personal question like that? What was the appropriate response here? A whirlwind of questions danced through his head until his mind eventually regained its composure, what little of it was left to salvage.

"What type of question is that?"

There were time when being blind really sucked. The expression she could imagine on Solomon's face right now, was one of those times. Still, Daisy saw it so it wasn't completely lost to time.

Eventually, he would recover and manage to ask a semblance of a question. A decent one, as well.

"A forward one. A blunt one, people might say. Or a coy one, a teasing one, one designed to make a cute man blush and bluster, maybe. Who can tell" She'd give a sip of her wine and smile, awaiting the next step in this dance.

"W-What? I'm not..."

Solomon held his tongue for a moment the minute he recognized that he had stumbled over his words. His sudden response to deny her words had been compromised without an opportunity to offer a rebuttal. Even as a question, it rendered him unable to form a proper reply at the moment. His gentlemanly composure was fighting a great battle to maintain itself, an act made most evident in how Solomon consumed his wine. His face grew crimson as he turned his head to the side, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. This was truly unfair on all fronts!

"And how would that make you feel if I responded with a similar question in response?"

An attempt to save face with an undetermined success rate in the dance bordering on failure.
