For some reason, today was actually a good day. Monique couldn't put her finger on why, but she felt more active than usual, perhaps it was because she looked forwards to meeting up with her friend again if the hollow wasn't on the hunt for new food some place else, but if she had to be honest it made her feel like she's got hone her cooking a little better.

By now night time day has turned to night, and the moon was raised up high into the air to shine its silvery rays of light down upon the streets as Monique was on her way back home from the gym, she wasn't very worried about the things that went pump in the night, it wouldn't have been the first time she got herself in a midnight scuffle before. Sporting gym clothes such as a grey tank top to reveal her toned biceps, and simple black shorts that reached down to her knee, really embracing the air against her skin while in her arm was a wide bag with her miscellaneous things tucked away.

In the end, nothing really special happened, but for a time she couldn't believe "today was a good day."

For some reason, today was actually a horrible day. The Hollow that was labeled as 'Escorpion' within his home country could put a pincer on exactly how! It all started when he showed up to the city, immediately felt how bad of an idea it would be to enter, and so high tailed it out of there. But, since he was literally starving after being kicked out of his last home, he was forced to go hunt down foot still close to the city.

The first try had another hollow beat him to it.

The second try had that hollow be brutally murdered by a different hollow and eat the one he was trying to ambush.

His third try never happened because every decided to avoid nice cozy areas he could hide in to eat.

Escorpion was starving.

It was not a new feeling, on the very verge of going on a hunger fueled rampage. He was kicked out with various means of violence from previous hunting grounds, constantly moving, constantly running in fear. But this time, he was starving.

He laid here then, crouching, practically in plainsight were it not for his hollow ability to hide himself, he would most definitely be sensed. The manhole above him was the only thing keeping him from the world. He waited, long and hard.

He paced, he shook, his head twitched at every errent sound or drip of water.

He was horrified.

He was scared.

He was Escorpion, and prey had just stepped onto the manhole.

His tail lashed up then, Spearing through the manhole - !

Little did Monique ever realize that her very foe was right beneath her.

So absorbed in the cool crisp of the night, the least Monique had ever anticipated an attack from below of all places, as she was far from paying attention, seeing the Manhole she was mere footsteps away shocked her.

"Fuck!!"

She instinctively snapped like the sailor she was, and hopped away from the destruction of the pothole's lid, taken aback as she was quick to drop her bag as she took up a stance similar to a boxers/ Her eyes hardening as she glared intensively at the beast that's soon to make its approach to the scenes.
