The ruined city that stood before him was grand, especially in his eyes. The purity of the fields that stood silent and dead, the visions of the powerfully tall buildings, hollowed by the wars that ran over and over again throughout the world itself. His hands were in his pockets, and red eyes were studying the creations of man that had now fallen. It was these little things that this Shinigami appreciated, you know? These little things in the world made all the difference to him, as he had only ever chosen to focus on the large things that needed focusing on. Such as that island that he had heard of, the one that had supposedly fallen out of the sky. Although he had no desires to go for the power, he wished to stop others from gaining the power to destroy the world, for that was such as his mind told him. For he had nobody to protect, and because of that, he was only ever focused on protecting everyone. He chuckled softly, thinking himself both a fool and correct at the same time.

"Am I truly broken?" People had called him many things; a broken hero, one who was covered in the blood of innocents. This Pseudo-Ziamichi was strange by his own right. He had rejected the very sin that he had performed, and as such he had formed his own hell within him. That creature covered in blood, of the golden eyes. The FeralMind, the true embodiment of everything that Daigoro didn't want to be, but had to. Soft and slender fingers raised up to brush a piece of hair off of his face as his footsteps rung out within the empty streets, devoid of life. There was really no discernible life in this city, and he really enjoyed that feeling of being alone. Not alone without people, but just alone to think, at least for a little while. A kind smile crossed his face as he thought back to those he had saved before, however few and far between. That had struck him as rather... strange. Despite always wanting someone to protect, he had never truly found anything to protect for... himself?

But that was the wrong way to think. Because that was the will of the wall, right? The wall never got to choose who it got to protect, it was only protecting everyone from each other. That was it, to him. He protected those that were good from evil, and those that were evil from good. But was that the right thing to do? Was he really meant to protect those around him from each other? Was he really only there to take the full attacks, as opposed to the ones that he wanted to take? His blood-stained eyes closed slightly, and his gaze lowered. He was truly just a shield for everyone to hide behind, from each other. A small 'kuh' sound escaped his throat. Was that really all he could be? The man stepped forwards, that single step making a sound that reverberated in the back of his mind...oh. There was a leaf on the ground. Strange, why there was a leaf there. The man knelt down, to look at the leaf. It was bone-dry, dead, a skeleton of it's former self. Heh...

Slowly going to stand back up, Daigoro raised a hand to his head and moved some more hair, thinking more on life and it's strange qualms. It was rather wondrous, this world around him. This silent forest of buildings, this strange jungle of steel and concrete. It was a mystery, as to what lay in these bones of a city. And in a place like this, he didn't have to worry. He didn't have to think about anything of this war, and this hatred, no K-World, Gotei, nothing. He was free to be himself in this mysterious world, you know? He could just walk around and stare into the silent world of the city. It made him feel good, peaceful, calm, all of those words combined. The redheaded Ziamichi would have no qualms if he died peacefully in a place such as this, no regrets, nothing but pure and calm blue sky of the world. A small smile crossed his face as he looked into the air and asked that single, known question to the open abyss...

"So why... do I still feel empty?"

"Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels."

The ruined city laid out before the King of Heroes seemed desolate. Devoid of all forms of life. To a man with enough pride to envelope the entire world, this city was nothing more then mere trash that was unworthy of even being stepped on by even one of his toes. What was his being here for exactly? No one one could possibly conjecture why this man would be on earth of all places. His reason for being here was simple, he was a man who worked only by his own code. He was merciless, haughty, arrogant, and proclaimed himself to be man's greatest hero. While all of it seemed like a farce or mere hyperbole, his claim's were far from false, in fact, if you challenged him to back his claim's up, he would do so in stride. Gilgamesh demanded dominance everywhere he went, whether with woman, or with battle, he found the utmost pleasure in dominating his prey. He derived the most enjoyment, from destroying warrior's of a higher standing then other's. Gilgamesh greatly abhorred fighting meaningless battle's, to him, a worm has no reason to face a king. Admired by most, hated by many, there was not a single thing that the King of Heroes didn't excel at. Despite his arrogance, he was a prodigal strategist, and a skilled warrior with a fearsome ability; 'Gate of Babylon ' the ultimate treasury, the usurper of great wealth. There were only a few who could rival this man in combat, and even then, not a single one of them came out unscathed. From his history alone, Gilgamesh was no simple trash talking punk. He would gladly accept any challenge simply for the enjoyment of crushing those who opposed him.

As for his choice of clothing at the current moment, he was adorned in a lavished set of clothing, standing erect outside the city's wall. Seem's as though the king only wore the best, though anyone among anyone who was close to him knew that was in his personality, even before he became tainted by the grail. He had always had an eccentric taste for clothing, and wore many thing's to accentuate his handsome appearance. His blonde spiky hair, that was like fire, a few strand's of this hair was blown briskly through the air—and those eye's — Those burning crimson eye's were enough to instill fear in even the most virtuous of warrior's. His gaze was both haughty and merciless, as though it knew no forgiveness and only knew how to kill without a single ounce of hesitation or remorse. His choice of clothing, happened to be, a long and slender white jacket with a fur-like hood. It was a fine made mink-fur coat tailored by a close friend of the mad king. What he wore beneath his coat, was a long sleeved black shirt, with a v cut at the top. The V-cut was small, so most of his chest was concealed from view. As for lower wear, his pant's were surprisingly and relatively simple. They were being kept up by a nice belt made of fine made leather material. His shoes were as his pant's were, simple without much elegance. Black dress shoes usually worn at celebrations, like marriage, or a gala of sort's.

As usual, his ear's were accented with golden earring's that were around his ear's most, if not, all of the time. There was one ornamental ring located on his ring finger, that shined beautifully within the sun, the waves of radiant light bathing it's silver skin in a warm embrace. Gilgamesh quickly diverted his attention to this spiritual energy, and from what he was sensing, it felt like that of a strong warrior. If he had to openly gauge the power level, he would think that it was around captain level, if not higher then that. His interest was peaked. Maybe there was some reason for entering this decrepit piece of shit after all. Without a moment's hesitation, he leisurely walked toward's the source of the reaitsu, he was sensing from his distant location. After what seemed like an hour, which was only about 30 minutes in real time, Gilgamesh arrived at where the source was. To see an all too familiar face. Personally, Gilgamesh didn't know the man. However, through many recent report's he heard of this man due to Kin's growing anxiousness with the man. That's what Gilgamesh deemed it to be, others thought differently. This man does not look like he would be the type to interfere with K-world's plan's unless it truly affected him. Gilgamesh smirked, as he walked toward's the center of the desolate and dead city. "....So you are Daigoro ito?" He inquired haughtily, as the tone made it seem as though he were insulting the man.

"Honestly, Kin made it seem like you were a threat to be captured and taken back....yet i don't feel any definite fear from staring at your miserable face..." Gilgamesh smiled solemnly, as he snapped his finger's. Upon this command, the space around him distorted in a haze― the next instant, the glow of beautiful blades started coming out of the empty space.
There are bare blades as well as spears. Each of them is decorated with eye-catching ornaments, and emits a fierce magical power. It is clear they are no common weapons but the primeval treasure's that this mighty king has collected over his long and fruitful life. He smiled graciously as he opened his arm's widely, his smile becoming much more menacing then before. That opening created in the space behind him was no doubt, the weapon that made him transcendent. 'Gate of Babylon', the treasury owned by the king who collected treasure's as he pleased until it formed into one inexhaustible treasure chest, for a simple term, that's what one could call it. Right now, the handles of over 30 blades appeared, as they turned around, now what had originally appeared as handle's were now all blade's being shown. There was a Battle Ax, a long sword, and even weapon's of indefinite usage and origin. In the face of this daunting power, in such a straight forward manner, would Dai be able to react to this in time? Only he would decide his fate. With his hand raised high, he swung it down quickly, as the blade's went off into the air, all of them scattered in many direction's around the red haired platinum wall, all meant to seal off his movement. This day which seemingly appeared as normal, now seemed to be turning into a battle neither of these talented warrior's would soon forget.

"....So you are Daigoro Ito?" The voice rang out within the silence of the city as if nothing else stopped it's approach. With a pair of narrowed eyes, the redheaded Ziamichi turned on his feet and stared at the source of the voice, studying it carefully, with grit teeth and a soft sigh dissipating from his lips. He dare not speak, lest this man run him through already. For some reason... he felt a sense of foreboding from the man with golden hair. The way that he was being addressed... Dai's gloved right hand clenched into a fist as he listened to the tones that left Gilgamesh's mouth. Strange, it was to him, that this sort of person would be like this, standing here, now. He seemed to good for this place, in his expensive and yet simple clothing. Daigoro's own uniform seemed to pale in comparison, as different as it was to that of the Shinigami who he had forgone.

"Honestly, Kin made it seem like you were a threat to be captured and taken back....yet i don't feel any definite fear from staring at your miserable face..." There was no fear from either man. Nothing of the sort had even crossed Daigoro's mind. He was worried about this man, yes. There was definite worry in there. And the man himself spoke of not fearing him? Why would he? Daigoro never presented himself as one to be feared, never showed signs of his own power. That was why he didn't seem to be a threat to most at first glance, he wished that he was never estimated to be powerful. One who is underestimated can take on the world as long as he keeps the world underestimating him. A soft sigh left his slightly-pursed lips and he shook his head at the man's words, chuckling lightly, letting himself speak.

"Che. Kin speaks only rot. I've never tried to be a threat, and I never planned on it." He smiled softly, placing his hand onto his hip and watching Gilgamesh through eyes that showed confidence in oneself. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to win if this golden-haired man actually fought, and he was actually kinda hoping that it wouldn't get into a fight, as was his nature. But then... the man snapped his fingers. Daigoro stepped backwards slightly, as the haze of spatial manipulation formed behind Gilgamesh. The air glowed a slight gold tone, and something began to appear from it, no, lots of things, creating ripples in the space around them. There were weapons. Weapons, after weapons. Just... weapons. The man smiled softly, and narrowed his eyes, waiting for the obvious. Through darkened vision, he saw it, Gilgamesh raising his hand into the air. Another second, and the hand was lowered. His own arm raised before his face, the blades began to fly at him. He just chuckled, speaking a single word.

"Anchor." His own Reiatsu began to spread into the ground beneath his feet, creating roots and the like, hardening itself into the soil as the redhead gave a confident smirk. He knew that this would assist him in whatever way possible, and as his hand laid on his hip, he just stood there as the large number of projectile weapons hit him. He didn't flinch, he didn't move, he just stood there, confidently. Swords stuck into his body, albeit not very deeply, and he was grazed all over, feeling some pain, but slowly feeling it throb down into a general feeling of nothing. The man smiled softly, and let the Anchor go, feeling his own Reiatsu draw itself back up into his body with a small chuckle. His form stood there for a half-second, Daigoro chuckling a little more from the feeling. Oh, that felt good. Not the fact that he was here, stuck with blades, but because this feeling just made him feel... alive, for once. He sighed softly, and knelt down, before slowly regaining his balance and standing up straight, speaking in quiet and dulcet tones:

"So, my friend... you're not even going to introduce yourself, when you clearly know me?" A small laugh, and the man slowly raised his head to stare directly at the man with golden-hair, red meeting red as well. Blood-soaked locks fell behind his head, and reaching his hands up, Daigoro gripped a pair of blades on his body. They were nondescript blades, rather casually just gripped on either side of his body. With this, Daigoro Ito gritted his teeth and pulled, the sound of cutting flesh making one thing obvious - the steel and flesh grinding against each other meant that Daigoro Ito... was removing the swords from his body. He pulled them out and let them land on the ground, before pulling out two more, and then another two. These last two, however, stayed in his hands, as Daigoro Ito stood before Gilgamesh. And there was hardly any blood on his body, surprisingly. The man just chuckled again, and spoke louder this time, raising his voice so that the King could specifically hear what he was to say. "One question. Was that supposed to... hurt?" A sudden burst of Reiatsu, and Daigoro Ito disappeared. He would normally use less force straight out, and try his hardest to negotiate, but this man had outwardly attacked him without any introductions. This meant that he would have to fight his own way out... without killing.

A single footstep touched concrete, and Dai moved at a high speed now, running headfirst towards Gilgamesh, despite already knowing something about those blades. He wanted... to try something out. Raising the blades out to either side, Daigoro Ito ran straight for Gilgamesh. If the man didn't react in time, he would make his first assault on his body, try to incapacitate him, yet still be able to question him. If he was hit by another attack from those Gates, he would react by entering Shikai. It was a simple series of actions, ones that would lead to one of the most interesting, yet grueling battles that this Ziamichi would end up facing...

"Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels."

"Oh...." Gilgamesh smiled amused by this turn of event's. He was not surprised that his weapon's were tanked. In fact, he was filled with pure unbridled bliss. Would this be worthwhile? He never intended for the battle to end quickly, nor did he, expect for the man to take the attack's without even moving. it's not as though those sword's were simple weapon's. Each of them were fired off like bullet's each meant to slice and tear through the opponent. They possessed spiritual energy and the destruction caused from each of the weapon's after hitting ground was akin to that of an area being hit by carpet bombing. What else could he, then be, if not amused? He was honestly tired of facing opponent's who simply did their best to evade his weapon's and try to come up with a concrete plan of defeating him. To him, this man standing before him pierced with these sword's not only surprised him but made him a happy man. He was curious as to how well this man would fair against him, and in the case of being pushed to the wall, would he be able to force this man to use his greatest weapon, the primordial sword that split heaven and earth, Ea? Such question's were up to time and time it's self.

"Mongrel's don't deserve to be addressed by the likes of me. How impudent of you. " He smiled with a calm expression which belied the joy he felt in his heart. Originally he thought that there would be no form of entertainment in order to satiate his need's, but here this man was, ready for combat after taking full force blow's from 'Gate of Babylon'. In Deference to this man's confidence, Gilgamesh smiled as he kept his firm and haughty gaze on Daigoro. He then noticed him preparing for an attack and simply stood in the same spot as when he first arrived. A direct attack seemed to be his aim, as he seemingly disappeared from revision, only to reappear once again, with only one foot touching concrete. His high speed movement's would usually be nigh-imperceptible for a low and inchoate warrior, but gilgamesh possessed no such defect's. He was ready for the charge, in fact the moment the man prepared to attack him, Gilgamesh prepared himself and went into full throttle. However, he wasn't predictable, if the man defended himself so easily against his first attack's, which were enough to destroy a skyscraper, then the same trick wouldn't work again. The moment dai came within at least ten meter's, Gilgamesh smirked as he pulled out a dagger with a beautiful inscription. The moment he swung the dagger, an arc of ice was created to freeze the space it cut through. Were it to hit the man, it would at the very least slow down his movement's, even if they didn't halt them.Though, he wasn't done there, this man had many trick's up his sleeve's, so there was no reason to hold back. Especially when the prospect of facing a strong opponent seemed so thrilling!

After discarding the dagger, Gilgamesh brought out an invisible sword and then a scythe, now if the ice were to hit him, he would be the man to charge in this time, and deceive Daigoro with the invisible sword, which was not unlike that of "invisible air". Then if the sword were to hit, then the man would attack with his scythe. The scythe in his hand right now, held the ability of taking away spiritual energy without cutting armor or flesh. he didn't quite don his armor yet, and clearly had no intention of doing so, at least not right now. He wanted to gauge this man's power level and see what his true worth was. How much more would Dai please the mad king? the man was already filled with supreme bliss. Maybe this man was no mere joke, but an opponent he could bring out his full abilities against.

Alfonso Gunter Reinhold~Evil Bastard~1-1+
The King of Heroes vs The Platinum Wall 2qsxpgm

German: "Sie können ein König zu sein, ja, aber ich bin ein Gott!"
English: "You may be a King, yes, but I am a god!"

"My my, 'King of Heroes', what an interesting opportunity you've lead me to." Unbeknownst to either man in the little spar, a third an unexpected party had made its way out to the ruined city; though their intentions were vastly different than the other two's. Of course, actually noticing this third man would have been more than a considerable feat; not only had distance been kept and stealthy precautions taken, but his reiatsu was was masked to a nigh undetectable level. Judging by the precise and calculated measures this man had taken to remain undetected, it was clear that he did not wish to "spook" either of the two warriors or partake in their conflict. But then, if he did not wish to physically have any connection with the "altercation", then why did he remain? If one knew the identity of this man, then the reasoning behind his staying would have become clear in an instant: research. Standing at a rather intimidating six feet six inches, the man had long, flowing blond hair, uncommonly deceptive blue eyes, and a style of outfit unique to him alone. The man, of obvious Aryan descent, wore a long, tailored black coat that reached down to his feet, appearing to be a mixture between a dress and lab coat, an elegant, royal purple scarf, a fancy, white dress shirt with red tie, sleek black dress pants, and tailor made black dress shoes adorned with two metal plates; his look accented with a red cloth band around each of his arms, and a metal belt with many compartments worn outside of the coat to hold it closed. When all of the factors were taken into account, then man could be identified quite easily by any who knew him as Alfonso Gunter Reinhold; the man and scientist whose arrogance rivaled and perhaps even surpassed that of The King of Heroes. Of course, there were still some questions left unanswered about his presence; mainly what research could he be planning to conduct, and how had he found or followed these two out here. These answers, though easily attained by Alfonso himself, would have been difficult to ascertain to anyone else.

To begin with, ever since Gilgamesh had joined The Kokuryuteshi, Alfonso had been interested in him, to say the very least. Sure, while the man may have been a living legend, known to most as "The King of Heroes"; there was virtually no factual account of his actual powers. To make matters more "interesting", because of Gilgamesh's position as Kin's "Right Hand Man", there was little information of him through The Kokuryuteshi as well, even to Alfonso; Head Researcher and Commander of the Sapphire Cross. For a man like Alfonso, obsessed with information and arrogant enough to believe he could ascertain it all, these hindrances were nothing more than minuscule obstacles in his pursuit of knowledge; challenging him to conduct his own research on the field. As for Daigoro Ito, the second man within the ruined city, Alfonso also held an interest in; albeit not nearly as much as for Gilgamesh. While he knew that Daigoro's abilities were mainly defensively based, he had not had nearly had enough time to examine him before his defection from The Kokuryuteshi. While Alfonso knew that Dai had defected and that he was wanted by Kin, he had no intentions of detaining him, or even of revealing himself; evidence not only of his arrogance, but also of how he viewed Kin as more of a "business partner" than the leader. Of course, it was only by chance that Gilgamesh had happened upon Daigoro when Alfonso had decided to follow and study him. As for how he had managed to follow and find them, the answer was much less lengthy. With someone such as Gilgamesh, a vain man who would flaunt extravagance, his movements were not hard for an ally to notice and follow. Still, Alfonso had taken precautions, and before actually leaving to study Gilgamesh himself, had sent ahead two small, flying drones to survey the area and keep an eye on the "King of Heroes". Of course, now that Alfonso was actually there, the reasoning behind his actions were most likely less crucial than the actions he now planned to take.

Although Alfonso had concealed his reiatsu much earlier, he still currently kept a distance between himself and the fight. He had not come all this way, gone through the trouble of secretly tracking Gilgamesh, just to have it ruined by one of the two fools involving him in the battle. Where he was now, atop a multistory building a few kilometers away from the two engaged in combat, Alfonso was both close enough to watch and study both men and distanced enough so that it would be highly unlikely for either of them to notice him; even if they were not engaged in combat. As he stood now, arms crossed and held against his body, eyes watching intently, and signature grin across his face, Alfonso had already begun to learn much about the "King of Heroes". For one who talked such a big game as Gilgamesh, Alfonso was slightly surprised that he had used his signature ability so soon, the Gates of Babylon. Then again, Alfonso had heard many legends about just what kind of "treasures" lay dormant behind the gates, and easily deduced that the "King" still had much more left to show him. As for Daigoro, however, Alfonso easily predicted his actions. While he had not done enough research to satisfy himself on Daigoro, he knew enough that the man's title of being a wall was not just for show. While Daigoro could have most definitely dodged or blocked the attack better, by taking the attack's full force, Alfonso noted how he was more than capable of psychological warfare with the use of his endurance. While it may have been a good tactic against some other foe, it was obvious that Gilgamesh would not be unhinged by the display. Of course, Alfonso was barely even scratching the surface of the data he intended to collect from the collision of these two fighters, and as he stood there and watched his grin only grew; he knew that today would be quite a productive day. "Well now specimens, reveal to me all that you have to hide..."

"Mongrel's don't deserve to be addressed by the likes of me. How impudent of you." That statement had only briefly registered itself in Daigoro's head as he moved, and he felt his dislike of this Mad King start to increase, but not burgeoning into hate. He wouldn't bring himself to hate this man, not without having reason to. So as he struck, he cleared his mind of all anger, all rage. All he had in the back of his head was the dull throbbing that the pain had been reduced to, and thoughts of his next series of movements depending on Gilgamesh's next reaction. As he closed in, a sudden burst of ice came towards him, freezing the air around his waist and stopping him mid-jump.

"K..." He moved slightly, caught in the obvious trap and not sure how he'd get out of this one. The next charge from Gilgamesh came quickly, and despite his best efforts to get away, the invisible sword came down and hit his shoulder; he hadn't even seen the end of that coming. He closed his right eye and gritted his teeth, before feeling the scythe hit him. Strange... why didn't it cut? Eyes widened with the realization; he could already feel his Reiatsu being drained. Damn... it... the man struggled further and tried to push down on the ground, unable to move out of the ice. His eyes were slightly wild now, the redheaded Ziamichi using the pair of blades that he held in his hands and pushing down quickly, seeing if he could break it, despite having an invisible sword in his shoulder. He left both swords in the ice, and reached up with the left hand, gripping the blade and pushing up with narrowed eyes, waiting for the feeling of the sword leaving his flesh to continue, and shouting out as it finally left his shoulder. He pushed it up and then thrusted it back down, hitting the invisible blade against the ice and using his own force to shatter it beside him. He used this chance to land on the ground, and placed his right hand onto the hilt of his zanpakuto, that hadn't even been drawn.

"Remember all that I take, Kanki Okami." He smiled softly as the zanpakuto and it's sheath dissipated into ash, and started to flow around the redheaded Zaimichi's body. A second later, and he jumped backwards and away, sliding across the ground with a soft sigh. That was a frustration and a half. His eyes streaked across the battlefield between them, and Dai watched Gilgamesh carefully as the pain in his body faded away again into a dull throb. He gave a calm and kind smile, before holding his arms out to the side, hands preparing to hold something; his eyes went blank, and he stared out into the distance.

"Creation, swords." The blueprint went up in his head, and the ash around his body began to flow further. A half-second, and it went into his hands, melding itself into a pair of simple, single-handed longswords. He smiled softly and held them down to the side, his red eyes flashing as he did so. "Creation complete. Activating Combat Mode." He let a small grin come across him and disappeared with another flash-step, reappearing behind the Mad King with wild eyes... before disappearing again and appearing above him... before disappearing again. A single second of silence fell over the area, and Dai was laying in wait from behind a nearby building. A second... second... NOW! His feet moved quickly, and he ran across the concrete while rounding the corner once more, getting his body down low and jumping up with a chuckle. he was not intending to kill this man, nor did he have any intentions of going all out.... unless the other decided to, which justified it.

If Gilgamesh were to block, Daigoro would use his own momentum to try and stagger the King of Heroes, before dropping back and trying another assault. If Gilgamesh were to use his Gate of Babylon to counter, Daigoro would try his hardest to push through it and then continue his attack, and if Gilgamesh didn't block, Dai'd continue attacking as well, trying several well-placed shots to pressure points in an attempt to take Gilgamesh down quickly. Either way, he knew that this wasn't going to be easy.

"Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels."

Even though Gilgamesh had a reputation for being quite lethargic against opponents, he had no intention of giving dai such leniency in this battle. After hearing the reports on this man, and how strong he was when pushed to the edge, he was ready to do battle with this man in an ultimate clash of offense and defense. His interest had been growing throughout the battle, and there were no signs of anything that would indicate it declining any time soon. Time and time, he had been brought through an age to face warriors who were only warriors in name, foolish men who died by his hand all the same. But this man was different. He didn't exude anger at Gilgamesh's personality nor did he seem angry from his insults. There was neither killing intent, nor the aura to present hate. Fewer men were able to handle this mighty king's arrogance and haughtiness. His personality was enough to anger anyone, even someone as noble as Misaiko could find it hard to hang around this man without drawing her blade. He was a man who cared not for the opinions of others, nor their feelings. To him, only his indulgence mattered. Those who suffered as a result of this indulgence didn't faze him in the slightest. Whether through war, sex, or battle, he knew no mercy. As he had said many a years ago; "I do not hold myself back on food or women, I plunder them at my leisure." There couldn't be a sentence that defined his personality truer than this one.

This Daigoro ito individual seemed to be quite persistent. Gilgamesh leaped back in order to avoid being attacked after the man escaped from the icy bind caused by his dagger, and he also sensed that the sword had been pulled out as he watched his mannerisms. Gilgamesh knew then, that this would be only the beginning of their legendary duel. He slowly, carefully, took the time to analyze the man's movements after he recovered from Gilgamesh's second attack in this battle. There were many ways of attacking, but he held his hand, and waited for him to initiate the attack instead. There was no intention inside of Gilgamesh to instantly kill this man; in fact, his earlier assumptions had all been dashed by this ziamichi's endurance. There was not a sign of persistence, but, a sign of powerful sheer will. Judging from the words uttered by Daigoro just now―He intended to raise himself up to a higher level. His evidence was proven true, as he activated his Shikai. Gilgamesh had to carefully gauge this man's power and see the extent of his abilities. If he failed to do that, he would find himself losing in this battle. Even a man with as much pride as Gilgamesh, knew there was utter foolishness in underestimating opponents, especially after suffering the losses in the legendary grail war that took place within the Sugiura lands only one year ago.

"....Fufu, you're quite the persistent one. Very Well, continue to challenge me, and see the difference in our powers, Mongrel. “Gilgamesh sneered haughtily at the man as two swords came into being within his hands. Long swords of similar lengths――did he still have the intention of facing him in close combat? Gilgamesh took the time to assess his posture, and in the blink of an eye, he broke into a series of flash steps around Gilgamesh. Fighting this man in direct combat, would not bode well for the king. Gilgamesh was not a swordsman, in fact, even before he was tainted by the grail, he was never a man who had much interest or care for mastering the art of the sword. In the old days, he solved his problems by felling his opponents with his iron fists. In the days following his tainted soul, he solved his problems by using his 'Gate of Babylon" like an artillery canon. This man's skills had declined in the field of close combat as far as hand to hand went, but he was no weakling. He was prodigal strategist with god-given talent. As long as he didn't underestimate his opponents or let his arrogance cloud his judgment, any opponent would find a hard time defeating this man. When he noticed Daigoro swarming around him, and then finally stop, to initiate another attack, Gilgamesh decided to finally don his favorite armament, the Ōgon no āmā, or Golden Armor.

This special suit of armor was no simple piece of metal, in fact, it was not made from metal, nor any material found on earth. Ōgon no āmā, was created by the King of conquerors, Alexander the great. This was built using the blood and bones of a Guardian beast as its components. And upon the graduation under the tutelage of Alexander, this armor was bestowed to him as a gift. So, instead of being mere armor, one could liken this to a conceptual weapon with the concept of "Defense" behind it. In the time it appears, it would always seem as though it had been meant to be on his body to begin with and it fit him perfectly. Spiritual energy serves as the conduit for this armor. Without spiritual energy, it will never possess much power, thus it is not fit for mortal men. But when donned by this powerful man known as Gilgamesh, the armor is a very strong defensive tool. As long as his Reiatsu is high, the armor will continue to channel that spiritual energy into the armor, thereby increasing its density and defensive strength. If this wasn't the only daunting factor then the next would be that this armor not only nullifies direct and heavy blows as though they were nothing, but also nullifies attacks that use energy as its basis. It allows for him to block a myriad of Kido spells and Cero, the limit of Kido spells stops at 63. Even the strongest Sugiura magic, cannot possibly phase through this armor at its zenith. So, how does one find a way around this armor's defenses?

The answer to that is relatively simple, and it is a simple concept that this shinigami knows all too well. If one persists with their attacks, they will eventually be able to damage this man and in some cases, slash through the armor and deal him a fatal wound. However, such things are easier said than done. Even if the armor suffers damage, if Gilgamesh can evade the fatal attack, he will simply channel his reiatsu through the breech in his armor, and it will be recovered back to its normal state. Thus, one must act quickly on that small chance; hesitation should not exist, because Gilgamesh will not be so foolish as to let himself fall for the same tricks over and over again. With the snap of his finger, Gilgamesh equipped himself with his armor, as it nearly engulfed his entire body, only stopping at where his neck and head were still bare and out in the open. After donning his magnificent and ornate golden armor, he began coming up with battle strategies. Since he wasn't directly aiming to kill this man just yet, he had to think of a proper weapon to use. Things like Enkidu, Skyrim, or Ea, such weapons would do him no good if he wished to enjoy the fruit he had been yearning for, for decades and decades of fruitless endeavors called battles. Considering the many treasures in his 'Gate of Babylon' he had many tools at his disposal. He only needed to think of which would do a sufficient amount of damage to his opponent.

After measuring Dai's speed, and the fact that he had already activated his Shikai, Gilgamesh decided to bring out two swords that went by a non-fanciful name; they were aptly called "Bite the Dust". 12 swords - All created in the honor of Gilgamesh's most trusted companions, his knights. These swords were created from materials not unlike that of the armor. Unlike the armor, however, which was created from blood and bone, these swords were made They were made using the remains’ of a special metal, that only existed from the "God of Earth" Guardian beast, they were then fused with the scale's of ice from Putotyra, before Giru gained control of that guardian beast. These elegant swords were also mixed in the same bones of the guardian beast that helped forge Gilgamesh's armor.

"Show Me - The True Extent of your abilities...Daigoro Ito!!!" With a deafening battle roar that made even the sky tremble, Gilgamesh leaped off of the ground with his right foot, giving him enough force to propel himself forward as though he were a mighty rocket soaring through space. In that instant, the distance between the two closed like an imploding star and Gilgamesh brought the sword in his right hand down with amazing force and speed, while the other was thrust like a spear towards his chest. Hit or miss, he would feel damage, but if he were to clash his blades with his own, he would feel a sense of disharmony emitting from these swords. There were no normal swords; most of his treasures were on a level beyond the weapons of mortals. The ability of these swords was simple and that was to carefully eat away at the will of the blade until it has been returned to its original state. To be more precise, once constant contacts with these swords have been made, a wave of disharmony will be inflicted upon the opponent once they come into contact with the disharmonious swords. Each Strike, causes even more damage than before, and in the case of shinigami or Zanpakuto, continued damage will cause the blade's, when they are in Shikai or Bankai, to slowly be returned back to their sealed state. Once 4 of these weapons have hit directly, the zanpakuto of a vizard or shinigami will be returned to its sealed state for one post. Depending on continued damage, the number will grow depending on the number of times its hit. If this weapon strike's a constant-release type, they will stay as they are, without the abilities to accommodate the aforementioned zanpakuto. Gilgamesh would normally prefer to fire these weapons in volleys, but today was different; something in his blood was rising. Could it be the lust for a great battle? It certainly wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume that such was the case.

"....Fufu, you're quite the persistent one. Very Well, continue to challenge me, and see the difference in our powers, Mongrel." The difference in their powers, huh? The redheaded Ziamichi almost had to hold back a slightly drunken giggle. That was amusing. Despite this man's arrogance, all he'd done so far was that? He had disappeared and moved around Gilgamesh at speed, preparing to face the man in close ranged combat; by the appearance of his ability that he summoned up behind him, this man was most certainly a ranged combat specialist, so it would not be of any matter to him if he got in closer; in fact, it would be the best idea. Getting his bearings correct, the redheaded Ziamichi stopped, and attacked with a single strike. A sudden flash, and golden armor appeared across the body of the King of Heroes. "Show Me - The True Extent of your abilities...Daigoro Ito!!!" Eyes widened. Shit, bad move! The golden-armored King suddenly moved from his spot, and erupted towards Dai with a blistering speed; holding two swords of his own. One hand came down, swinging the blade quickly, while the other was sent like a rocket towards his chest. Knowing that he'd be unable to move out of the way, both swords went up and collided with the one in Gilgamesh's right hand, while the second sword hit his chest and created a large cut down his torso, causing him to grit his teeth as he side off the sword's attack and hit the ground, rolling along. Getting back to his feet, he checked his chest, and then looked down at the dual blades. Hm. There was something wrong. He didn't know what, but there was something. It was almost as if they were starting to excommunicate with him. Gah.

"Haven't tried this before, but let's go..." He had already felt the slot lock into place. He had never done this before, but it felt natural to him already. A small smirk crossed his lips, and he let the swords dissipate into ash, that once more began to flow steadily around his body. Chuckling to himself, Daigoro Ito let the visions of his own Memory Slot fill his vision, and all of the necessary circuits locked themselves in, almost making a metallic sound in the back of his mind. Slot Locked. Begin transfer. His right hand slowly glowed, and the shapes of the swords formed themselves from the memory that he held. Memory Taken. Activate Creation. Slowly but surely, the ash began to flow into place, creating a single blade in the man's outstretched palm, which then closed around the sword. This was the true ability of his Evocative Wolf; that which brought out the memories of his body. Those memories could be formed into Replicas, Fakes, as per the Tekiya ability that he held. Smirking, Daigoro spoke out a few calm words, "Understanding Gained. Show truth." The knowledge that Gilgamesh held of his own swords temporarily flowed into Dai's mind, and he looked up at the Golden King and smirked, "Bite the Dust, Single Blade. Activate." Grinning and disappearing, Daigoro suddenly rushed towards Gilgamesh himself, pulling back the sword in order to strike the man. He felt more disharmony coming from this sword; he would have to hold it out for a little while in order to be able to truly understand why. Yes, he had some understanding of the ability, but not enough to be able to work out a counter-attack. He needed to see how Gilgamesh countered it.

Placing his foot onto the ground, the redhead suddenly ducked down lower in order to confuse Gilgamesh and push himself out of the Golden King's line of sight. It would only last a second or so, but Dai suddenly reached out and attempted to hit Gilgamesh's armor four times, before jumping backwards, no matter the injuries he'd gained. As he landed on the ground, a good ten feet away, the blade shattered back into nothing, the Memory lost. He chuckled, and suddenly built up another image in his mind; an ax. "Creation, ax." The ash flowed once more, and as it brought itself into his hands, a large battleax forming in them, slowly building itself up and out, shaping itself into what he knew it to be. A weapon. Smirking, the Platinum Wall suddenly made his charge once more, knowing exactly what he had to do. "I will find out who you are, mysterious man of gold."

"Fool. The only hero in Heaven and Earth who is a real king is me. The rest are a collection of mongrels."

The battle between King and Wall began to escalate at an extremely higher rate than anyone could have expected. So far, from an onlooker's perspective, it would appear as though Gilgamesh has the upper advantage, but if one were to assume such - then they would surely be a foolish soul ready to be reprimanded or rebuked by their peers. While the Platinum wall had been hit by a flock of divine treasures, and been slashed by two of the disharmonious blades within his hand, he was still standing strong before the mighty King of Heroes. This was an opportunity that had been evading Gilgamesh for so many Era's, not once had an opponent been able to last more then a few seconds before being skewered and falling miserably to his 'Gate of Babylon's' might, but here and now, stood this man with long red hair and a somewhat benevolent gaze holding his face. Usually, when being faced with such haughtiness and arrogance, most untrained warriors would be angry and act out of pure anger rather than their instinct. But for the select few, there were some who would ignore his claims all together, and continue to fight bravely. This man belonged to the latter, of course. For all of the Golden king's bravado, he had not a sliver of anger or annoyance on his face. For someone who may meet his end today, he was surprisingly calm. This alone showed Gilgamesh that he was no mere wealking and that should this Daigoro Ito bring out more of his power that he too would have to answer in deference to his opponent's brevity.

After their first clash, which resulted in Dai blocking one sword, while taking the one that was shot like a rocket towards the abdomen - Daigoro rolled over to avoid further damage. Soon, after he brought himself back up and checked his wounds, a strange phenomenon - at least to the man of opulence - begins to take place before his eyes. Keeping the man locked within his gaze, and after the ash around the benevolent foe began to conjoin, a concrete image was formed. The image of The King of Heroes knight swords, Bite the dust. "....Hm...." This ability brought back sour memories from a distant past, it is indeed no doubt the memories based on when he fought the young man known as Emiya Shirou. If there was one way to earn this usually calm and direct individual's ire, then it would no doubt be men and women who could replicate his divine mysteries. Some would be flattered by such a perfect replica, but Gilgamesh simply sneered, unperturbed by this occurrence. No matter the situation, a fake will never reach the original; majority rule will always take effect. The original, the authentic, and the genuine, will always crush the miserable fakes for what they are. In truth however, Gilgamesh was not displeased to see these new turns of events taking place.

It only roused him into an even more jovial mood then before. This opponent is absolutely perfect for today thinks the King of Heroes as he begins to take preemptive measures against Daigoro's next attack. Firstly, to begin, the man had been executing one or two single strikes, instead of a consecutive streak of attacks. Seemingly, it appears that this young man relies on his defense more than he does on offense; most opponents who get the opportunity to even close the distance between themselves and this man, undoubtedly seek to end the battle with multiple close range techniques. This man, however, has done naught. After processing that thought within a few seconds, he focused his attention to the sword in his hand.

It is the swords with which he created in the honor of every single knight that took up arms with him in his days as the king of the ethereal land of the Sugiura. Those swords were no doubt, dangerous to opponents such as Shinigami or even people hailing from his own race. The disharmony that emits from these weapons are so strong that they render defense just as useless as offense. If one aims for the block with their own weapon, the weapon and the spirit would suffer causing dissonance between user and blade. If they suffered a direct hit, they too would suffer as a result of the disharmony that dripped from every being of these cross shaped swords. As luck would have it, he had adorned his armor long before this situation took place. As such, there is no way that sword can slash through his armor, especially in small series of strikes. This Golden armor was the strongest and most vital defense possessed by the Hero King.

After assessing these factors, there was one more thing to consider. That ability he used to replicate his weapon, which is the direst threat of all. Even for fakes, weapons of that kind can spell certain doom if he simply slaps them aside as harmless. After all, that was how he suffered defeat against that damned hypocritical faker in the past. With everything properly planned in his head, he knew exactly what his next plan of action was. At the range of 3 paces, the red haired warrior disappeared grinning, from Gilgamesh's line of sight. Without losing his calm and composure, he simply widened his eyes so that he would be ready to defend against the strike, not that it would do much, of course. But he had to be safe in the face of any danger, which might allow him to fall into the pit of destruction. With a regal and delicate smirk, he concluded that the man aimed for another direct attack, and lo and behold, there he was ready to strike.

He allowed those four strikes to clash with his armor, and while he felt a strong impact, it was nothing that made him become imbalanced or was it enough to cause him to lose his footing. His feet moved slightly, and he grinned lustily at the thought of how this battle would continue to turn out. After all, not many had been able to last this long. As he watched the man jump back and see the fake shatter before him, Daigoro created another weapon, this time a battle-ax. Now that distance was gained between the two, Gilgamesh began to think upon what his own plan of action would be. Should he once again release a barrage of his mighty projectile weapons, or, perhaps, charge in for another attack to the body? All were indeed sound plans - but everything traced back to that damning endurance of his. If he were better versed in physical strength and attacking in succession, then he would undoubtedly keep the man in gold on the ropes. Luckily, his attacks weren't doing much currently, but then, he couldn't be lethargic against an opponent like this. The benevolent ones are always the tricky ones. After he took the time to relax his muscles and take a sharp inhalation, he threw the swords back within the treasury only to pull out a new weapon of choice.

A 5 foot long needle was being held within the tips of his fingers. This seemingly harmless weapon is named Jigoku. Its ability lies in closing off any possible areas with which the opponent can escape, but it doesn’t just stop there, however. Once it is thrown like a projectile, it duplicates into 100 more needles making it difficult to escape. To use it in this situation however, were more of a disadvantage rather than a possible threat towards the defensive warrior. That is to say, his intention was not to use it alone. And even if this is a large area, these weapons can still track him no matter where he aims to run, since it would most likely cut through most of the disheveled buildings around them. After pulling this new armament out, he brought out another one.

This one went by the unusual name of Xero. Simply said, it is a sword with a length of 90.2 centimeters, ensconced within a dull red sheath lacks in terms of splendor. It also has a purple-hit wrapping, and a tsuba(guard) with a shape that is similar to Soul society’s Kidō corps emblem - consisting of a circle with a pentagon-like shape in the center and three points protruding from the edges evenly spaced apart. This sword can be especially sly when it comes to the matter of conjunction attacks. Herein lies its main ability – that is – to create a dark mist that often covers large amounts of the area, leaving shadows of his figures everywhere he moves. Not only does this confuse the opponent, but it allows him to assault them with a series of multiple attacks; while they are forced to try and find a list of ways to possible escape. Placing the needle within his mouth, he unsheathes the sword from its scabbard. No sooner after this, the aforementioned mist starts to cover the area in a dark and hazy mist around both Daigoro and the King of Heroes. After this technique was completed, he pulled the needle neatly from his teeth and threw it within the darkness, and in its mid air journey, 100 needles were duplicated in order to follow their leader. After brandishing the Katana,

Gilgamesh stabbed it within the ground, and amid the darkness those golden glows appear within the empty air. His aim as clear as day – reenact the projectile assault with intense force and absolute might. From this distance, he releases a continuous assault of 4 spears and 4 swords – each capable of shattering mountains on direct impact. The speed was almost unreal; they were soaring at 10,000 mph during their flight, making them all but impossible to dodge without even an ounce of speed rivaling their own. The impact would be deadly if they were taken on, but for this man who could endure such adversity they would probably do little to damage him. Not that this would work against the King of Heroes, of course.

He has set up a neatly prepared trap, making the difficult to evade not only the 100 needles 8 weapons with mountain-shattering force. If the needles hit, they would land precisely where his pressure points lie, most likely paralyzing him while the divine swords and spears fly in resonating elegance, following the task that their leader may not accomplish. With a small grin, Gilgamesh disappears within the shadows, grabbing a large axe. This weapon is called Lightening Eater. As the names implies, it is an axe that is capable of releasing powerful bolts of lightning. This extreme weapon can only be wielded when he has his armor equipped, due to the powerful inertia release. There are fifteen lightning bolts within each cartridge, and once they are all used up, they can easily be replaced by more lightening that can be taken from the surrounding area that holds electricity, or perhaps, even an opponent who uses lightning as a piece of their overall battle repoitoire.

The damage from these weapons is, needless to say, catastrophic; each capable of leaving large craters within their wake. Not only that, but even when impact is made large pillars of lightening are created making it increasingly difficult to escape from contact, even if the opponent is quick, the weapons will no doubt strike from an unpredictable range in order to seize their prey. To end his turn, he brought out a defensive mirror shield aptly named Kibisis. This was obviously a move to cover up any possible sneak attacks that can happen within this mist, since keep in mind, he was not exempt from the darkness either. Kibsis is a strong defensive mirror shield, it is a bronze shield polished to bear a mirror-like reflection that projects information from the surrounding environment on its surface so the user can rely on that information to move around without having to move him away from the mirror. It can also be used as a sort of detection device as it transmits the reaitsu signals from those around the surrounding area.

This allows for Gilgamesh to make preparatory actions against sneak-attack's as well as gathering information for future usage. This was a flawless product of ingenuity and a prodigy’s skill. This will allow him to defend against any possible attack from within the shadowy mist, all the while; his opponent will be forced to attack what very may well be an after image. Moreover, since he can now predict where the man is coming from due to locking onto the residual spiritual energy emitting from his body, and since his opponent will be forced to go off of nothing but instinct, Gilgamesh has carefully prepared quite the elaborate and elusive trap for his wonderful opponent. With a small grin, he licked his lips slightly, obviously in anticipation for the next attack. How would the powerful wall handle this assault? Such was the one thought flowing through the mind of the Mighty king as he prepared himself for the eventual counter, if Daigoro had any tricks in his own bag, that is.

LAST BATTLE

Things were already beginning to look bad for our Aegean Knight. Having produced forth a group of attacks at Gilgamesh, the four attacks were seemingly shrugged off by this man's superior armor. Having felt the shocks of the blades colliding with the golden mass, the redhead felt himself jump away and attack once more, using the force of his momentum to assist his attack. His feet slapped onto the rough ground, and he jumped into the air, giving a quiet shout as he did so; he watched the man produce another weapon from his treasury. Without knowledge of this needle-like weapon, Daigoro landed and pushed himself away, landing approximately ten feet away from the King of Heroes. Watching this needle, he had to ask himself a few choice questions. Namely, what would happen if that needle attacked him? That weapon which Gilgamesh was wielding, it was long, thin and quite possibly fast. There was no true reason for him to be able to defend against it--no matter how powerful his defense would be. There was the possibility that they'd direct themselves towards his pressure points, or the possibility that they'd attack him in other places that were more difficult to defend against. With this in mind, Dai's weapon was raised above his chest, covering his face in a defensive position.

The next weapon drawn was a rather long katana in its sheath, Dai estimated it to be of almost a metre in length. He narrowed his eyes while he watched; if Gilgamesh was planning on using both of these weapons, he was likely going to be fighting this man with two weapons of his own--even though he had only generic weapons to create. Closing his eyes slightly yet not taking his mind off of the King, Daigoro prepared himself for the next attack with a soft smirk. One would have to wonder--was Daigoro Ito at a disadvantage in this situation? If one were to look at all of the variables, they would have to be inclined to agree with that. As one looks over Daigoro's array of abilities, compared to that of Gilgamesh, they would have to think about his own lesser degree--defending and mimicking with his own power. For that reason, Daigoro Ito was seemingly, and most likely, at a true disadvantage to Gilgamesh. Narrowing his eyes, Dai studied the sword that Gilgamesh held, further. From his position, he could see it to have a wrapped hilt--purple, and a strangely shaped Tsuba. Biting his lip softly, the redheaded man stepped forwards and watched its sheath itself. A dull shade of red. Strange, that sword seemed familiar. Was it from some kind of legend? Nono, that was a question that he would ponder later. For now, he would simply watch with calm eyes.

With that thought, he watched that sword slowly slide up from its sheath. The blade itself glimmered for but a second under the light, before being dissipated into nothing. No, that was a wrong statement to make. What Dai thought was disappearing, was simply being covered up. As he did so, more and more of the light began to fade, and all of the world around him died into darkness. The man grit his teeth, and he closed his eyes slightly, taking in a slow breath. As if the darkness died away, he let his own animalistic instincts take over. Usually, that would allow the FeralMind control--Daigoro was doing this in such a way that would allow him to be able to make full use of his animal-like senses, while still retaining control of his sanity. He took a single step forwards, before suddenly being hit in the side by a speeding weapon. "Crap." Dissipating the ax, he gripped the sword in his side and dropped it to the ground, making a clattering noise. The sounds of more weapons whistling past his body caused him to grit his teeth, and he flicked his hand down to his side. "Creation, tanto." Creating a small tanto in his left hand with a brief flash, the redhead held it up to his body in order to defend further.

The man began to move slowly, dancing through the darkness. They were moving at a high rate of speed; a lot of his dodging was barely making it, hearing the sounds of weapons whistling past his ear, his leg, his chest. Too many collisions would still spell his end, even if he were powerful enough of body to defend against them. A sword sliced against his leg, and another on his arm. A sword clashed with the tanto, creating noise and sparks. The blade fell out of his hand, dissipating back into ash. "Creation, tanto." Another tanto formed itself from the ashes flowing around his body. And then, something else. His hearing noticed a new sound; a quieter and yet more flow-like whistle. A scent of something new; it wasn't quite defined, but it wasn't flowing as quickly as those other ones. No, that was iron. Iron... Gah. He could hear them approaching from each and every side. Pulling up the weapon, his eyes suddenly flickered open. He may have had animal-like senses, but this would assist him further. Even if he could not see, he could understand. He just needed to keep moving--if he did that, then he would be able to defend properly.

Raising the tanto before his chest, nine places came up into his mind. The upper arm, the collarbone, the windpipe, the temple, the diaphragm, ribs, testicles and thighs; finally the heart would be defended. A smirk crossed his lips, and the redhead finally spoke words that would be heard all throughout the dark mist, no matter where Gilgamesh would have been. "Nine Lives... Defense!" And then, he moved. A single step, and the man turned around in a full circle, raising the sword to his upper arm. The first few needles collided with the blade of the tanto, and Daigoro turned his body once more--the tanto covered the collarbone, blocking a few additional needles. They clattered to the ground, and his next hand movement was over his windpipe, then the temple. He moved in a circle, defending against these nine points with a quick flurry of motions. The diaphragm, ribs, testicles and thighs were all defended, and they clattered to the ground. His final movement reached the heart, and the last few that hadn't hit Daigoro's body were now on the ground. He breathed out, gripping one of the needles and ripping it out with a grimace. "Looking" up, Dai chuckled softly. He would now wait, let Gilgamesh make the move. The Golden King believed that he had an advantage in this mist. Daigoro would prove him wrong.

He breathed in softly, and closed his eyes again. Right. Although he had been wanting to hold off from using his total power for quite some time now, he would at least make this turn. Gritting his teeth, he held that short-bladed tanto up by his side. "Ban..." Those who knew the powers of the Shinigami would know what was to come next. "...kai!" As soon as he had spoken, the blade in his hand shattered, returning to the mist that flowed around his body. The ash flowed for a second, before flashing a bright white. Unfortunately, this would give Gilgamesh the knowledge of position via light source. The light over, Dai's own clothing was dyed a pure white, keeping the red tinges that his clothing would usually hold. His heart beating rapidly in his chest, the man slowly opened his eyes once more, the usually-red irises turning into a deep violet shade. The ash reformed itself into the blade of the tanto, before Dai shattered it himself. "Kakutei Shinkoku o Okami... Creation, katana." A nondescript katana visualized itself into his right hand, and the man slowly stepped forwards. Time to take a gamble. Placing his hand over the blade of the sword (though he had no actual need to), Daigoro let his palm glow a soft white. Drawing it down the length of the created sword, he caused the entire blade to glow white-and-red, a color which slowly drew itself into the tip.

"Seishou-Hakaisha..." He stepped forwards, raising the sword into the air. This was such a bad gamble. If this mist was not made up of free-flying and yet bonded spiritual particles, then this attack would have no effect. However, he anticipated that the mist would simply reform itself after he attacked it; that was a risk that he'd be willing to take. "Crescent Form!" Slicing his arms down, a large crescent of Dai's white-and-red energy spread out across a line, cleaving through the spiritual particles. Due to their nature, the energies of Dai's attack corrupted the bonds of the particles creating the darkness. This caused the very makeup of the darkness itself to slowly begin to decay, splitting apart before Daigoro. Blessed light spread into this small area without mist that stood before him, and it appeared that the mist wasn't going to reform itself. That said, the fact that Seishou-Hakaisha literally decayed and destroyed spiritual particles meant that even if it did reform, it wouldn't be the same size. It wouldn't ever be the same. Grinning, Daigoro pushed off from his position, heading towards that feeling of Gilgamesh that he was certain of. Even if his eyes failed him, his nose and ears would not. They were but shadows, therefore able to be told apart, or so he hoped.

Moving towards the position where he had last sensed the man, he hurried towards him, gritting his teeth. He would allow his senses to take over, and as he did so, let the weapon shatter. If he was going in here, he was going all out. The blade disappeared into the mist, and he smirked. "Nise Kokubo." And so it was said, so it would happen. The ultimate technique of the Platinum Wall (or so he thought at the time), Nise Kokubo was a truly false defense. This ability had increased his slots, and allowed him to take on a more powerful mimic. Increasing his defense was a bonus as well, nullifying half of the energy of every attack. Nise Kokubo turned Daigoro into what could only be called an energy conduit for abilities; he was now able to take them and use them against their wielders at full power. If Gilgamesh were to use an attack against him, he would be able to recreate it at full strength; even able to use the Gate of Babylon that Gilgamesh prided himself such upon. For this reason it was known as the False Defense of the Wall, and no other. His rapid movements carried him towards Gilgamesh as fast as he could bring himself to, yet he moved with a heavy silence.

Approaching Gilgamesh at speed, his body suddenly ducked lower, and the redheaded Shinigami-Ziamichi leaped into the air, before landing as close to Gilgamesh as humanly possible. "Come at me!" Lunging forwards, he made his first few attacks with his fists. Unlike weaponized combat, Daigoro's skills lay further into the realms of hand-to-hand. Stepping right before Gilgamesh, he began to use a complex series of movements that branched from the Jujutsu style of martial arts. As he moved towards Gilgamesh, he placed his right foot onto the ground, lowering his body for a tackle, diving forwards and planting a hand onto the earth beneath them. He the pushed himself upwards and flipped into the air, bringing his leg down onto Gilgamesh for a swinging ax kick, Judging by that shield that the King was holding, and that strange ax that Gilgamesh had, Daigoro's attack wouldn't connect. If his leg were blocked, he would use his other to flip himself off of the defending instrument and fly backwards, landing on his feet and taking up a defensive stance. If the attack did connect, he would plant his other foot against Gilgamesh's face, pushing himself off of the Golden King and moving to a similar stance at a distance. He would then proceed to, either way, close his eyes and chuckle. "Well. Looks like I'm at a disadvantage here, am I not?" Of course, he wouldn't reveal exactly what had occurred within the mists. That would ruin the fun of it all...
