Shisome was almost drifting off : it wasn't really drifting off per say. She just felt safe : not that the doll like girl could explain these feelings. If someone asked her, she would just say it was a bubble. It was a bubble that seemed to wrap her up and never let her go : the human wasn't quite sure what to say beyond that. The very knowledge of things other then her kind existing in the world was relatively new : she had never seen the world in such a way. Actually, that was a lie : she had seen it so when her parents were still alive : but after that, she had shut her eyes, and heart to the truth. Letting back into her soul actually made her this way : she didn't understand it. Then again, Shisome was young in life : so it stood to reason that she wouldn't understand. Basic human things were the price for her to break her own seals : it was the price to opening her eyes to the truth once again, not that anyone would truly know her inner struggles. After all, those were gone, replaced with just a broken, black space.
The girl didn't even have a reaction. His hand touched her hair, and her large red eyes just blinked slowly, calmly. She felt almost warm from where she was leaning : that entire area was warming due to her own heat. Shisome also felt as if his own hair was soft. The girl listened to him, and pulled herself from his grasp, strands of her hair still caught in his fingers : her face tilted up. It was an almost breath taking sight, as her pale skin was soft, almost gentle. Her large eyes were focused on him : sharp and yet endless, a sort of pool that one could drown in, seemingly the color of blood. Her pale pink lips moved, as she made a soundless noise : and then, with a tilt, pressing her cheek into his fingers, the girl's eyes that had fluttered closed at that action opened again. ''Mjesec Vorgukiendid'' she said, pronouncing it exactly as he did.
Her eidetic memory was not focused to only sight, but hearing, taste, in fact, all of her senses. That included her spiritual one, although she still didn't want to touch that one. ''Moonie.'' she said now, testing the names, her tongue savoring the words, as if they were precious. In fact, they were : for the doll that hated itself, for the doll that dared not to exist, a reason for such was almost too much to bear. It was a gift, a privilege, not a right, and the doll knew that, as her fingers touched his cheeks, softly wrapping them around his face, soft, gentle, breathless, as her porcelain mirrored face stared back at him. ''My name.. is Shisome.'' she said, her eyes blinking slowly, black lashes marring the white of her cheeks. The red pools were back in view, as she was softly rising, her long strands slipping, dancing as she now stood, taller then him only by the virtue that he was sitting, her face above his.
Her hair was like a curtain, blocking out the world, as she stared at him with her big eyes, and that child like face. She wasn't quite sure of what she was doing, but there was a part of her that edged her on : he almost looked like an animal, as the ghost of a smile curved her lips. And slowly, she moved, her lips touching his forehead. It was just a gentle movement, a flutter of her lips, as she then moved away, still nice and slow, the axis of their ascent now theirs. Standing, Shisome lurched as the movement stopped, her fingers entangling themselves on his arm to keep herself standing : using him to keep herself afloat. However, not even terror struck her face, as she sat down beside him again, and moved his arm, to place it around her. Snuggling into that recess that was created, the black haired human just let out a sigh.
''I don't understand this warmth.'' she spoke again, her voice soft and quiet, as she closed her eyes. What she meant was the warmth that she felt in between them : Shisome had no idea what this was, having lost the basics of human interaction. After all, even different races were humanoid : their emotions and feelings were like theirs. And somehow, without knowing it, the human was trusting of this man, the one that claimed to be from the moon. Although beyond her scope of knowledge, she believed him. After all, what would she lose? She was an emotionless, and non-existent doll.. so finding a purpose was unique to say the least, or maybe just something to pass the time.
He watched as she slowly blinked at him, his hand on her hair. As she rose, his eyes stayed on her, wondering what she was doing. He felt his fingers slowly lower as strands of her hair moved through his fingers, sliding through them as he looked at her in the eyes. Those cool, dark eyes seemed to suck him in, a whirlpool of calm on her face, making his breathing become even and his mind completely focusing on her. He watched as her lips moved, but was a bit confused, hearing no sound come out, despite his heightened senses….
And then he felt the smooth skin of her face, on his hand as she closed her eyes , before opening them again before him. He blinked himself as she heard his name repeated back at himself, exactly correct. Voi… most people can't get that on the first try… guess she's pretty special after all. He thought to himself, smiling a bit at the thought. He felt the hand and could see the arm as she touched his own face, leaving them a mirror image of one another, his hand upon her face and her hand upon his, although he could feel just from the touch how gentle it was compared to his own, which was more of just trying to comfort her and not scare her off. Although, by this point, he was wondering it if was necessary for him to worry about such a thing.
"Shisome." He himself repeated slowly, glancing up to the ceiling for a moment before nodding. Not gonna forget that, voi, nope. He told himself his eyes finding hers once more. He looked up at her as she stood, feeling odd for once at being the shorter of the two. The thought almost made him laugh. He could almost feel her stare as she looked at him, so intense was her soft gaze as she moved towards him. He nearly flinched from her herself getting so close, but restrained himself as he felt her soft lips upon his forehead, an extremely strange feeling for some reason sent tiny tingles down his spine, although he had no idea why.
He felt the movement stop, and his eyes opened wide as he saw her falling. He outstretched his arm, feeling her catch it, not even wincing from the nails on his skin, his skin tough enough he barely felt them. He kept his arm firmly out, so she didn't fall, and felt reassured as she steadied herself. He was only a little bit surprised that she was unfazed by this, after all, the only thing he had seen that had gotten some level of excitement was when he had leapt from the ride. However, he wasn't planning on doing anything else crazy like that, at least right now. He turned his head as she moved back his arm around herself. He felt as she made herself comfortable in the space it had created, and how warm she was there. He heard her sigh, and tilted his head, wondering what was wrong.
"I don't really get it either…" He replied slowly, seeing as she closed her eyes. "But… I don't feel like it's bad. Voi… it is strange… but… it might be, good then…." He trailed off, both of them fairly clueless about human interaction. After all, someone who had been on the moon didn't get a lot of social time. He wasn't entirely sure… but he felt as if she trusted him, now. And that… that made him happy. He wasn't completely sure why about this either, but he knew that this feeling made him happy, like when he would jump so high and the moon's surface would always be there to catch him. He had never really in his life known much emotion; simple joy was the most common, just from having so much time to himself. He had had almost no experience with things like confusion or fear, as his whole life had been fairly straightforward. The same applied to feelings like caring for others and love, and truly trusting another person. And… he felt that this girl, Shisome, that he had found, truly trusted him. And that made him feel more joy than he had ever known before, in addition to a wide smile on his face.
He got an idea as they were just lying there, closing his own eyes as well. However…. Instead of simply laying there, in the comfortable warmth, he shifted a small amount, moving inwards as his legs began to lightly press against the side of the cushion that they were on, facing inwards towards her now. He slowly let out a small amount of his power, his eyes still close and smiling as his hair began to slowly raise up, straight into their air above himself. As it happened, the tips of Shisome's hair began to raise up as well, and the two masses of hair met in the middle before the two, not tangling in any way, just remaining suspended through the air, something that in Moonie's opinion was quite neat.
However… that was the last idea he had had. He wasn't sure what else he could do. Voi. Voi. Voi, voi, VOI, VOIIIIIIIIIII… he pondered over in his mind, which was the Moonie equivalent of "Think, think, think, think, think." He eventually had an idea, his face relaxing as he went deep within himself. He found his Nature Cells, deep within him, very deep, but something that would have something to help him with instinct-wise, certainly. He opened his eyes, as a tail tore through the fabric on his lower back. In addition, golden pointed-dog ears appeared on his head. However, that was the extent of the transformation, as he was suddenly filled with the urge to find a fire hydrant…. But he ignored it, trying to find the reaction for something you cared about.
Before he even really realized it, he moved his face towards Shisome's, extending his tongue as he brought his head up, licking her on the face like a dog would its owner, and his eyes were wide with shock as he realized that must have been the instinct he had been looking for. Canines… are… very… very………….. Voi. He trailed off, hearing a small thump, thump, thump, thump behind himself. He looked around, seeing it was his tail.
"Come on… stop it…" He told his tail. It just kept wagging harder, and he just sighed as he looked back at Shisome. "I'm… I'm… sorry…? I really don't know… we have these things called Nature Cells, you see… and mines a dog… so…………." He trailed off himself, hoping that she was alright with it and didn't hate him for it. He hadn't exactly done it on purpose, but when his only instinctual options for someone he cared about was a dog's… it led him to this particular situation. He simply sat there, looking at Shisome, waiting to see if she would hate him for it and run away. For some reason, the thought of that made him feel really weird in his stomach, although as of now he still wasn't entirely certain why…
It seemed he was caught just like her : it was a web, and she was not sure what she was. A good person or a dangerous monster? Shisome could not seem to identify, and that neutrality, the apathetic calm that pervaded her being seemed to fit to such. Their bond was forming rapidly : Shisome wasn't sure why, but lonely hearts often connected over the smallest things, or so she had been taught. The black haired girl was taking it easy, his words making it clear to her he was just as clueless as she was. And that was okay, for the both of them, that was okay. Then he moved, the girl holding her position initially out of will, and then she moved, those crimson eyes popping open again. Her hair began to float, touching his, and it was electricity flowed in her body. The girl closed her eyes for another moment, her poker face not letting it show, but it felt like her body was on fire.
Her face was suddenly licked, the girl's eyes flashing open, ready to reprimand the male, when she noted he was staring at - was that a tail? And those dog ears? He explained it as Nature Cells : fascinating. And just like that, her face softened so very much, as her fingers began scratching behind his ears. ''Who's a good puppy~'' she said with a teasing tone, suddenly grinning. It was like the entirety of that coldness, that field that kept her from humans, was gone, as she scratched between his ears, and then testing under his chin and his belly, whilst getting up to let him roll over on the seat. ''Who's the best puppy~'' she said, sounding like any person would as if talking to a dog. Her giant grin and her teasing and playful touches seemed to be the exact opposite of earlier. ''Ne.. can you fully transform into a dog?'' she said, tilting her head to the side, as if curious if he could.
Her very frame was different, as the carriage was starting to go down now, slowly but surely, as her question hung in the air, her face in a cute expression of waiting and curiosity.
Moonie felt her hand behind his ears, the nerves in his head going off at the unexpected touch. It sent a strange tingle down his body; no one had ever touched him behind his ears before, ever. It felt... very weird, he decided. Their hair fell out between them, falling in front of their faces. She asked him who was a good puppy... and he...
He said, blinking in shock. He himself wasn't sure how to react, but his dog instincts did. He felt as his body flipped over as she began to rub the other parts of his torso, which also felt very weird. He could see up at her, see how very much her expression had changed. She seemed... to be alive. He realized it then... she wasn't just that way. She... was like that around people. Just before she started speaking again, he had a realization. I... I want to help her remove that barrier... His eyes widened as he listened to her request, his tongue lolling out and panting as he nodded. A small cloud of smoke appeared around his body, covering him. When he reappeared, a golden retriever had taken his place splayed out on the seat, although...
It had a very long mane of blond hair. The mane went down past its paws as he looked up at Shisome once more from laying on his back, tilting his head. He opened his mouth. "Is this about right, Shisome?" He asked, his voice huskier than before due to his transformation. However, it still rang out clear as he said it, despite the current state of his vocal cords. He frowned, trying to remember the trick that James had taught him. He sent out a wave of thought, as a message appeared in Shisome's mind via Iramasha Link.
Would you prefer I just talk to you like this? Asked the message. This way, they would be able to talk through thought, making things easier for both of them. He just hoped that it worked, and that she would accept his invitation to talk, as their carriage continued to descend, the young girl and the moon-dog-man (who should just be called werewolf by this point) spent some open time together, the barriers removed between them...
Shisome giggled at the male : he seemed not used to it, but his instincts were instincts. ''Just let your instincts guide you, instead of thinking it's weird.'' she said softly, suggesting something to him. She could guess what he was thinking, by the way his eyes kept flicking. After all, telling him such would help him with the transition from thought to instinct. To her question, smoke covered, and as she coughed, she was left with a golden retriever. ''HAUUUUN!!!!!'' she exclaimed, her face lighting up completely, as if entirely devoted to love, joy and happiness. The girl suddenly clamored herself around the dogs neck, nuzzling into it's furr, making little happy sounds. Anyone who knew the girl could tell this was very odd to say the least, as she seemed happy at the dog, feeling a sort of prod at her mind. Curious, she accepted it, and for a moment, was suddenly connect. That feeling was strange, as her eyes of crimson flew open wide, and she shook for a moment, before clearing her mind.
'I see. What a strange phenomenon.' she said, within the link. Unsure since she was human and he wasn't, she tried her best to formulate the thoughts into a sort of clear box. It was amazing how much on instinct she was picking up the skills. The carriage began to slow a lot, as the door opened, the girl standing up. A measure of her cold face came back, as she strode out, her steps determined and graceful : in fact, her every step made her look as if she was gliding, her long strands of black flicking behind her. The man that had greeted the two in was surprised to see the dog, but his eyes were on the girl, as her very prescence was almost charismatic. That's why he stared after her : and when she turned, and gave a smile that could melt chocolate to the dog, the male collapsed to his knees at the pair walked away.
Of course, Shisome was oblivious consciously to this, as she guided Moonie, seemingly enthusiastic now, as she pointed to a water ride. ''Wanna go there boy?'' she said, not using the link. After all, she wanted to play with the dog. But he could speak to her mentally, and she would do so back. At least, the doll like girl, suddenly spurred to life, hoped he would understand that much. The red cloak swirled behind her, almost making her ethereal as well.
The sudden change in the girl shocked Moonie a bit. But... she seems much happier now than she was before. That's... what I wanted, right...? He wondered, simply going along with what she did. Not weird...? Well... alright, I suppose... He felt as she accepted the link, and how she shivered while she was hugging him as she did so. He merely accepted it, along with how she was gripping onto his neck, his body warm from his coat. He heard her speak through her mind in reply to his own request, and licked her cheek, nodding.
He felt as the carriage they were riding stopped completely. He looked up, flipping up as Shisome stood. He jumped down as he saw her walking out, and followed along side her, moving like a show dog would out of a gate to be presented. Which... was just what his instincts were telling him to do. He was also copying off Shisome, trying to mimic the air that she was maintaining, trying to make it feel right. He watched as she looked back at him, and he was struck by how much different she appeared. Note to self... she looks a lot better this way. He decided, continuing to trod after her.
He watched as she pointed to a ride. He looked up, seeing all the water. Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! His water polarity would make the ride MUCH more wild than it normally would, and he ran up to the line, knowing she would most likely be right behind her. Unfortunately, he thought that particular line through the link... on accident. But, he didn't really care at this point as he ran up to the line, looking up at each person as they suddenly found themselves pinned to the ground. He ran right past the line, leaping into the first car. He looked over again at the line, sitting down again on the ride's seat and lifting up his foot to scratch behind his ear, like Shisome had done only minutes ago...
However, he was happy. He knew it now: He was truly happy to be with this girl. And even if he was a dog while doing so, he was going to try to help her be happy too.
He seemed to easily fall into the pattern with her : not that Shisome minded, but it was alright. She always felt content, as she let out a sigh. The sense of being connected was strange, not that she minded, but the doll like girl still felt a sort of... oddity. However, it seemed it spanned much more then just the two of them : if she really tried, she could expand further. The girl noticed how the male suddenly seemed more free : her face would curve in a gentle, happy smile, as if forgetting he was human in the first place. And she noticed this, mostly when he bowled over people to get to the ride. Laughing, the black haired girl trailed behind him, her long black hair like a shroud, as the people were to glare at her. But upon seeing her face, they backed off, as she sat next to the dog. The ride master, having seen weirder, simply resumed the process.
And thus, for the next couple of hours, the two had sampled ride after ride, the black haired girl laughing heartily, getting dog treats for the dog and ice cream for her. She was truly a much different face when with an animal : her gentleness was above all present, and so was her kindness, as she seemed content. The black haired girl yawned audibly, before she stretched, making a noise as her bones popped. 'I think I'm exhausted.' her mind voice said, flat and even, but it was obvious there was a hint of wonder behind that voice. She was actually surprised that she was so tired. The human didn't want to move from the booth that she and the dog were curled in, her petting his head on her lap. She was fairly content, a weird feeling to say the least, especially for her.
Moonie had had a lot of fun, even if it while he was in his dog form. He liked the feeling of being with another person, doing things, even if it wasn't things like leaping off buildings. He himself took a lot to wear out; even so, he was also a bit tired from the day. After all, he also had to maintain the mind link and his Nature Form, although they didn't take that much energy.
Even though he had been served dog food, he had devoured it with a relish; Moonie was in no way particular to the food that he ate. Either way, he felt the natural nutrients within it restoring his strength. However, at the same time, the artificial things within it disturbed his energy flow also, and after he had finished it, he whined slightly, resting his head on Shisome. He noticed how warm she was now, as opposed to before, and heard her say in his mind how she was tired. He looked up at her in his dog form, rolling over to expose his belly, and wagging his tail.
Voi, but are you having fun? He asked mentally, doing his best to keep his body righted so he didn't claw her. He couldn't make his claws go in and out like a cat's, so this was the best he could do. He was honestly interested in how she was doing; he didn't want to be the only one having fun while she was bored. He merely looked up at her, wondering how she was going to react to him. He had begun to notice, a very small amount, that... he seemed to be thinking before he did something, which, for him, was quite strange.
The dog seemed to be content, but some of his thoughts were transperant over the link : or was it just that she was adapting to that as well? That was an interesting thought, as she sensed there was a bigger connection then just the two of them : it was fascinating, and without meaning to, Shisome felt herself drift into it. It was like she was glowing : just a little bit, as her reiatsu seemed to be gathering, in a strange swell. Her head hit his stomach like a pillow, and she softly wrapped her arms around the dog, her eyes closing as her mind went further and further into the link. It was strange, it wasn't something
With a snap, her eyes opened, as Moonie's question still rung in her mind. Somehow, he had pulled her out : what was that? Shisome put all of the things she'd seen, heard, understood aside, and focused on the dog beneath her head, as warm and comfy as he was. The girl seemed to be musing on the answer, and with a small nod, she buried her face deeper. 'I would assume so.' she said to their link, as if unsure, her fingers curling up. What was this feeling, welling up deep inside of her? She remembered the soft touch of his shoulder, the brush of his skin against her own. 'Turn back?' she spoke once more, more as a question rather then a command : hesitant on this thing called emotion, but it was making her restless, as she shuffled, sitting up again, her face almost sad looking. Not that she knew, but what few emotions that the human had were clear as day when they presented themselves.
Moonie looked up at her, his eyes looking at her strangely on his stomach. He felt her arms wrap around him, tight and secure. He knew that he could burst out of her grip if he so chose, however, he had no meaning to. He could sense through the link that she was warm and secure. However, he watched as she slowly began to glow, quite oddly, his dog's eyes and indeed the ones within his very mind quite surprised.
He felt within his mind as she delved deeper into the link, feeling almost as if his head was being stretched out as she went somewhere where he had no footing. He gradually got back his focus as he got back his actual control, barking out, causing her to snap back to focus. However, he could only fear as she buried her head deeper into the soft flesh of his stomach. It felt... warm to him. It felt good, he decided, as he sensed that she... trusted him. It was an odd sensation, to say the least, but it was a comforting one. You would assume so...? He asked her in reply, before hearing her speak once more. Turn back? So you're ready to leave? But... where will you go...? He thought to her, as she lifted her head back up, with a sad look on her face. It quite shocked Moonie. Why is she sad? He wondered in the confines of his own mind, before glancing up at her once more.
He thought to himself, wondering what he could do. However, he finally came up with something to say, and expressed it to her at last. Shisome. I have a question for you. He said, getting back on his four paws slowly, not hitting her with them. Tell me something. Would you rather stay with me and the Nature Iramasha? Voi, I'm sure Boss James wouldn't mind it. In fact, he'd probably welcome someone who could stay with me. He asked her mentally, his own dog lip slightly drooping as his ears laid back on his head, his eyes wide and pleading at her as he made his offer. All he could do now, was wait for what her answer was...
