For some reason, despite her old age, Nikkou seems to be almost frozen in her appearance at age 17. This is probably due to her traumatic experience at death which caused a short period of hyper-aging and then a sudden stop. For better or for worse Nikkou seems to be aging at an extremely slow rate. Despite this, her appearance is in line with the general appearance of women her age around 900 years ago, the difference is fairly minute, but anyone with a good eye can tell she's not from the current generation.
Nikkou's height is more or less average at 5"6 along with her weight of 105, though her hips are unusually large for her age giving her attractive curves which tend to give people double takes on her figure. Although her hips are very wide, her torso is slim and easily supports her medium-sized breasts. Her arms are long and not so muscular as they are supple and tight, her legs on the other hand are muscular and firm supporting her body elegantly.
Hey eyes are a vivid sky blue, complementing her smoothe blonde hair which falls just short of her lower back. She hardly ever differently styles her hair as she's not such a vain person, although she does enjoy her hair long. Her skin is a slightly pale peach and is never tanned for some odd reason even though Nikkou loves the sun. Her teeth and hygiene are all handled regularly due to her neat nature as well. Her apparel is quite diverse, as she does not believe in "Fashion" she merely wears what she likes and what won't get her laughed at; although she regularly wears school uniforms as it provides a quick and easily available excuse during most earthly encounters.
Personality
Compassionate
Nikkou has a large capacity for compassion, towards even her 'enemies'. She is usually concered of the wellfare of everyone and everything. Though she's extremely compassionate, she's not a tree-hugger and won't go out of her way to attempt to make people see the world as she does. She will not openly display her compassion towards inhuman things, because in most cases that makes someone seem odd. When it comes to people however, she'll go to great lengths to make them feel loved, share their pain, and understand their feelings on a personal level. She'll cry for her 'enemies' and her friends, because she tries not to view anyone as evil, no matter how unspeakable the things they've done. She always shows her greif to a loss of sentient life. Unsentient hollows and demons are they ONLY creatures she does not feel compassion for.
Considerate
Nikkou always has a high regard for people's feelings, careful to always try to say positive things. She's very aware of how people are feeling, and has a great sense of empathy. She'll make sure what she says it almost never hurtful, rude, or even unpositive! She openly shows concern, tending to people's feelings with the utmost respect to their wellbeing. If she accidentally makes someone feel bad, she'll normally apologize with all her heart before fleeing with tears. She's very sensitive to misjudging people's situations and doesn't like when she's unable to read people's feelings. She'll never ignore someone, even if their sole purpose at the moment is to try and make her feel horrible. Nikkou takes being considerate to another level, many people are amazed at her ability to notice even the slightest flashes of sadness or anger even without her zanpakutou.
Respectful
Whether she's talking to a god or a human, Nikkou is always respectful. She's deferential to people's orders most of the time, never making excuses. She'd never purposefully betray anyone, especially someone with a higher status than herself. Because of her great respect and honor to almost anyone, she's respected in return, giving her a very positive reputation among whatever group she's in. She's usually in the mindset that people do things for a good reason, even if the reason might seem evil at first glance. She always tries to find the good in people's decisions in order to respect their wishes, never disagreeing with people unless they're going against a strong conviction of Nikkou's.
Enduring
Being a lover of peace, Nikkou has an extremely tolerating personality which extends both to her normal life and when she fights. She's able to keep a level head and therefore become conscious of most acts of manipulation targeted at her. Nikkou's definitely not the type to get wriled up after being taunted, insulted, or mocked. The only thing which Nikkou will not tolerate is her nakama being serverely hurt or killed, this might cause her to go full hollow and unconsciously rampage if the person was dear enough to her. This is an extremely rare ocurrance though, and it's only happened once during her life. Since that day she's trained her self mentally for sacrifice, realizing it's the fate of everything to die.
Impenetrable
Due to her radically inspiring motivational early days, Nikkou is an extremely strong willed person whom will always fight for justice and peace. Her views and philosphy cannot and will not be altered without her total consent. Because of this she's nearly impossible to manipulate because she'd never do anything that goes against her morals and values to the letter. The only time she'd ever make an exception is if someone life-changingly dear to her was in danger. She never drinks or indulges in anything that might distort her sense of reality and it very reluctant to accept drinks or foods from anyone she doesn't completely trust. Consequently, many find Nikkou to not be very fun at parties and celebrations.
Peaceful
Although Nikkou is peaceful, she is not as stalwart as Venus towards maintaining it no matter what. She understands even more so than Venus that in order for peace to be gained, violence must be fought against sometimes with more violence. Nikkou also knows that since she cannot convince many people not to fight, by helping them win in order to eventually gain peace that she will still uphold her values. She'll almost never fight 1v1, even if the enemy is obviously weaker than herself. This is because of her hatred of unnecessary violence, instead she will simply seal them with Kido and contact some of her allies to take care of it.
Alignment
Nikkou's general orientation is that which strives for Justice and eventual Peace, but this can waver depending on her situation and what is demanded of her. If she witnesses any form of violence or brawl between two people of any race or alignment she'll selflessly try to cease it unless directly ordered not to. She believes that if she doesn't constantly try to uphold peace no matter whom is fighting she wouldn't be worthy of the title Emissary of Peace. Her allies undoubtedly look down upon her at times when this habit is obviously unbeneficial, but everyone in the end respects her way of life. She won't change for anyone or anything, she feels her alignment is perfectly designed for her way of life. Under orders, however, it's an entirely different story; if Nikkou is ordered to do something by someone she completely trusts such as Zin or the Captain Commander, she will strive to uphold what is asked of her in the utmost precision. This only applies to people she trusts with her life; however, any random person of superior power over Nikkou will not be able to make her go against her values for the sake of greater peace.
Zanpukto
Zanpakuto Name: Venus
Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance: She has an air of serenity, her movements seem to flow one after another majestically as if she was swimming in air. If you were lucky enough to lay eyes on her, the first thing you would notice is her third eye, it lies near the center of her forhead. It's almost always closed, though it opens when she is expressing intense emotions such as anger, sadness, or despair--which are extremely rare occurences. The eye cannot be forced open, its eyelids are sealed shut as if it was a part of her forehead unless she chooses to open it. The eye has a divine iris, all the colors of the rainbow seem to constantly swirl and converge on eachother in whirlpool like motion, each color struggling for dominance. Because of this it's rumored to constantly be reborn like a river, as in the quote"You can never step in the same river twice", and full of innocence because whenever it witnesses evil it changes again, the image forever being sealed away in that past of that moment, replaced by a new eye. Her other two eyes are not nearly as wonderous as her third, but still beautiful in their own way. Their iris' are of a violet tint closer to the pupil, slowly darkening from there outward. The farthest parts from her pupils being a shade of red-violet. Her eyes are complemented by her myriad of long black eyelashes which seemingly draw one's eyes to hers. She is often wearing an eyeliner of sorts along with eye-shadow at times to make her eyes even more irresistable. Her face is slender, her features more defined than the average woman, if you measured her face you'd realize all the proportions are exactly right and that both sides of her face are identicle to eachother. Her lips are naturally a vibrant light-pink which also seems to captivate one's eye. Around her face is her long, vibrant hair which stretches down to her waist. Her hair is naturally jet-black, but she prefers to dye it a shade of lilac, sometimes with pink highlights. It's wavy along her back, giving it volume and style, though it seems more straight around her face. Her bangs are held above her forehead over her head by a ellipsoid hairpin of unknown origin. The hairpin seems to radiate a lilac glow in everydirection originating from a plasma-like energy inside a clear outer shell of the hairpin. She prefers dyeing her hair lilac in order to match it with her hairpin and never dyes it anything aside from that. Another notable feature of hers is her flawless skin, as if she was covered from head to toe in makeup, it's not too shiny nor too opaque, allowing it to be attractive in almost any lighting. The color of her skin is ever so slightly tanned, a peachy cream color. If one were to touch her skin they would find it sublimely smooth, interchangeable with a baby's. Venus's legs are long and slender, appearing to be the dominant factor of her tall 5'8 figure. Her feet are small, being a size 6 in today's measures, for her height. They're petite like her hands, which are long and slender, appearing fragile. Her nails are sometimes painted, the colors ranging from violet to red, always in tints however, as she dislikes dark colors. She's slim, but worlds away from anorexic, her breasts are not overly large, appearing to be low C's. Her weight is around 106, which is pretty dead-on average for most women her height. She's usually naked and her gorgeous appearance is most likely due to Nikkou having a strong lust for beauty in all aspects of life.
Zanpakuto Spirit Personality
Loyal
Being a part of Nikkou, Venus automatically has a obligation to be somewhat loyal to her. Though her loyalty is far beyond that, through extensive training and furfilled promises Venus has placed a lot of trust in Nikkou, and therefore is very loyal to her decisions. However, this is only when Nikkou is stable and not biased by strong emotion. In the case that she is, Venus will usually rebel against her decisions until she's emotionally stable. There is an exception to this, if Nikkou has a strong, just conviction, Venus will be loyal even if Nikkou's overcome by strong emotion. If a situation like this presents itself Venus will still attempt to calm Nikkou down to the best of her abilities.
Peaceful
Venus is a lover of peace, she loatches unneccesary violence; however, she does realize that violence is bound to happen and tolerates it at rare times. She does not wish to involve herself in anything unpeaceful, but she is very loyal to Nikkou and respects her decisions without hesitating even if it means to kill a child. She regularly nags Nikkou about how she could have ended things sooner, or not gotten herself involved in something. Venus usually will not fight to defend the knowledge of a new ability from Nikkou, rather she will judge when Nikkou is worthy of its power and able to use it wisely. Nikkou respects this and hardly ever trys to force anything out of Venus, who would most likely not give in anyway.
Compassionate
Just as Nikkou is, Venus is a very compassionate person, though the reach of her compassion is limited to Nikkou, she never ceases to excercise sympathy and concern towards her unless Nikkou is overcome by her emotions and unable to control herself like when she was on earth fighting for survivable over her hollow while despairing. At times like this Venus takes charge and gives Nikkou a reality check, comforting her but being stern and compelling at the same time. It is because of this that Venus and Nikkou are almost like sisters.
Inner World: Nikkou's inner-world is a massive forest of seemingly ancient trees, during times of fear and suffering the trees are dead and barren, though when Nikkou is happy the forest roars with life and each of the barren trees transforms into a glimmering cherry blossom tree, it is said that the mere sight of her inner world when it is like this is enough to turn even the most corrupted soul pure for as long as it gazes into the pink oblivion. Nikkou often talks with Venus near a hot spring located at the heart of the glittering paradise.
Sealed Zanpakuto Appearance: Venus appears to be a snow-type Zanpakutou, but in fact it is an extremely rare type of Zanpakutou who's main qualities seem most intertwined with the color white. The handle has traces of light pink sapphire and the hand-guard has an elaborate swirling design with what appears to be flower petals. At times if Nikkou is expressing strong emotion the blade will begin to sparkly a soft pink as if agreeing with Nikkou, though it will begin to crack and become brittle if Nikkou becomes consumed by her emotions as a form of wake-up call. This is very rare though, as Nikkou has become a very stable person.

Shikai Information
Shikai Appearance: When Nikkou activates her Shikai a bright light is emitted for a moment around her sword causing it to be invisible for a second before the light fades revealing its new form, this light is bright enough to blind and startle any attacker, almost guaranteeing a halt in their attack. Additionally, this light is very potent against anything demonic and is equivalent to pouring acid on ones skin. It also seems to uplift anyone in the near vicinity who's an ally of justice and seems to discourage anyone who's evil within.
The light is also blinding to her allies, so they should have experience and know when it's about to be released by closing their eyes when she utters her release phrase. If looked at directly, one is guaranteed to have everything go white for a second or two unless their eyes are shielded in some way or they have experience with recovering from bright lights. Once the light slowly fades from view, her snow white Zanpakutou is revealed as a small white circular shield shackled to her right wrist with a handle to grip. In her left hand there is nothing, as her zanpakutou is not designed to be fought with.
The shield has monstrous stopping potential and will never dent or crack as long as Nikkou's will stays strong. It gleams with a white-gold gleam and unless dirtied it can easily reflect the suns ray without diminishing its brightness making it a very viable long range hazard if Nikkou is fighting with someone else. The edges of the shield are dull, making its only offensive capability as a bludgeon which Nikkou would never attempt unless absolutely necessary. A unique feature of the shield is the appearance of a closed eyelid at the center which seems unnaturally realitic, when closed it's just as tough as the rest of the shield.
Shikai Abilities
Power Increase: As with most shinigami entering Shikai provides them with more reiatsu to spend and a general over-all performance boost and this is the same with Nikkou. In Nikkou's case the power increase is not very noticeable but she seems to gain a lot more speed and precision. Her speed in Shikai can almost match an average captain in bankai, and easily exceeds it if she dons her mask.
Increased Awareness: Through experience, Nikkou has developed a technique where she can sense the over-all intent of anything within 20 feet of herself if the eye on her zanpakutou is open. This enables her to sense any killing intent with just a microbe of someone's reiatsu. The only way to sneak up on her if by completely reducing ones reiatsu to 0, a feat incapable by conventional means. This ability does not tell an enemy's exact location, only a forewarning that a thread is nearby within 20 feet. She usually keeps this ability active while fighting as it does not require much energy to maintain for long periods of time, though if her attention is completely diverted she sometimes lets it go down absent mindedly for a second or two, though something particularly important would need to happen.
Eye of Emotion: By borrow Venus's power, the eye on the shield can be opened at command at nearly any speed, Nikkou can have it fling open or closed faster than the eye can comprehend, or open and close slowly as if making the act more suspenseful. Once opened the eye is an oversized version of Venus's third eye and within its seemingly divine iris all the colors of the rainbow constantly swirl and converge on eachother in whirlpool like motion, each color seeming to struggle for dominance. If the eye is pointed at someone, ally or foe, the colors will stop swirling and a single color will gain dominance over the rest. Some colors such as pure unseething anger are red, though there will always be a tint or uniqueness to the color which Nikkou can analyze and make sense of without looking at the eye on the shield, it's linked to her mind through Venus. For example, if the eye was dark crimson it could possibly mean anger because of betrayal, but if it was light crimson it could possibly mean anger because of jealousy. The number of combinations is literally endless and if given enough time to analyze the color she can determine exactly why the target has what emotion, who caused it, and when it originated. If only given a short time such as during battle, she can only determine the base emotion and its subgroup. Though if given at least a minute she can determine minor details and such, and finally if given an entire hour or two she can analyze it completely and surprise people with information they've never told anyone. Mostly she uses this ability in order to understand why people feel a certain way in order to help them feel better or two explain to her allies why a certain person is acting a specific way. Although analyzing of the color takes hours, getting the exact color is almost instantaneous and can be saved in memory for future analysis. This attack is minimally draining to Nikkou's reiatsu and cannot be stoped by conventional means, in fact it's never failed Nikkou in her entire lifetime.
Emotional Illumination: By pointing the eye at the center of her shield to a person, she can single out a certain color which represents any feeling humanly possible. The brightness of the color signifies how strongly it resides in the target. For example, if the blue stood for determination and the shield released a blinding blue light (The brightness is invisble to all but Nikkou and actually does not light up anything, it's just something used to differentiate the levels of an emotion. If the color is black, then the target has none of that feeling within them, but it still can be boosted using large amounts of reiatsu and consent) then the target is extremely determined. With the targets consent, Nikkou can fire a beam of special reiatsu of the same color at her target. Once the beam hits the target it will begin to boost that particular feelings at the same time draining Nikkou's reiatsu at a mild rate though not altering Nikkou's feelings at all. Without the targets consent, the beam will merely deflect off of them and dissappear in most cases. However, if the target is very preoccupied and Nikkou puts a lot more reiatsu into the beam, she can force emotion boosting in her target. This includes negative emotions as well, though in most cases Nikkou would NEVER do this because it goes against all her morals. However, if Nikkou is completely consumed by her inner-hollow you can count on this being abused to the extreme. (Remember though, forcing requires a lot of reiatsu and focus)
Siphoned Shield: By siphoning her own mood and combining it with her reiatsu she can envelope a target in a reiatsu shield based upon that mood. The shield doesn't do much to lower the damage of every attack, instead it focuses and decreasing the damage of attacks inflicted by people with opposite moods as what the shield has. Say for example Nikkou is very peaceful, so she surrounded herself in a reiatsu shield imbued with a peaceful attitude. All attacks full of desire for destruction and war and violence will decrease in power by about 1/3 on average. However, she would still be vulnerable to attacks with revenge, or anger though. In order to combat against attacks full of anger, Nikkou must have a happy or extremely calm mood to combat it, though a calm mood would be less effective than a happy mood. She can alter the shields very quickly depending on what mood she chooses to extract from herself, as she can have multiple feelings at any time. The catch is that secondary emotions and such are greatly less effective than full blown ones. If she only had a pinch of happiness, for the same amount of reiatsu it'd only lower the damage of angered attacks by 1/10. However, if she was on the floor laughing in ecstasy it might lower the damage by as much as 3/4 which is the absolute max. The shields consume a moderate amount of reiatsu and last for 3-5 posts. They are extremely difficult to dispel by conventional means and can be cast on anyone. This includes enemies, say if Nikkou placed a siphoned shield of peace upon a war monger their damage against anyone will be lowered by up to 3/4 max(1/3 average), the catch is this lasts about only 1-2 posts and requires more reiatsu. It also doesn't affect their durability only their attack ability, they still take the same amount of damage as normal.
Siphoned Shield + Beam BoostWhile a target has a shield, she can focus a concentrated beam of emotion imbued reiatsu onto their shield to boost their damage as well if the target is an ally, this requires additional reiatsu and only boosts their damage 1/2 as much as the the damage they receive is reduced against the opposite mood. For example if kept a beam on someone with happy emotional against someone who's angry they would take 1/3 less damage from them because of the shield, and do 1/6 more damage because of the beam. Because of all the complications of this move, it's very situational and Nikkou usually uses it sparingly unless its use would be very beneficial.
Emotional Suppression: A powered down version of emotional blackout, emotional suppression functions in a similar fashion to emotional illumination, except in the reverse. Nikkou points her zanpakutou at an ally or enemy and begins to supress a SINGLE emotion. This can be done either of two ways, one way is pumping reiatsu into them in a very reiatsu consuming fashion to lower a single emotion's impact upon the target by half for 1 post. The other is taking the emotion onto herself and lowering a single emotion's impact by 3/4 for as long as she wishes to tolerate the emotion. While the emotion is within herself, she can suppress it to a point with reiatsu in a more efficient manner than method one, but the emotion can still greatly reduce her fighting ability depending on what it is. However, unlike as in the first way, taking the emotion onto herself is not effective at supressing it on her target and it will slowly regain its previous power or maybe to an even higher level. Additionally, when she lets go of the emotion she took into herself it will stack upon the previously regained emotion creating double the level as when she first used the ability. To avoid this, she often fully consumes emotions when she can and attempts to supress them until they dissipate, though this is not possible in all situations and can lead her to have rapid mood swings long after a fight is over. Because of the intense drawbacks of using the second way, Nikkou views this ability as a form of last resort.
Bankai Information
Bankai Appearance: Once Nikkou chants the word Bankai her zanpakutou emits an extremely bright light just as her Shikai does with the exact same effects in addition to her body emitting a similar light. The light will slowly die down, the last areas to die down being her eyes and the outline of the eye on her shield. The first thing one might notice would be that her right eye is closed and that her left eye has seemed to become the same as her Shikai shield's eye with a prismatic converging effect. Her reiatsu seems to take on her emotional power, shining brightly depending on her mood.
Her zanpakutou increases in size, becoming 50% larger than its shikai state with a more intricate eye pattern, instead of a single eye it seems to be made up of at least a thousand smaller eyes in the shape of an eye. They all are either open or closed at the same time and the ones making up the iris will radiate the same prismatic effect as her left eye while the rest will maintain a single color. In addition, the shield is hot or cold to the touch depending on the emotion of the person it's facing, though it still maintains a white-gold appearance.Nikkous clothing does not change at all, and neither do her physical features which is an average Bankai transformation, though if she decides to ressurrect while in Bankai the difference is obvious.
Bankai Abilities
The Thousand Eyed Shield: In Bankai Nikkou is much better at aiding multiple people at once due to her myriad of eyes, though they can massively aid a single person just as well. Normally in bankai her right eye and shield eyes are dormant, as she can use her normal abilities even better than in Shikai with solely her left eye, though at times that is not enough. In order to take advantage of the eyes on her shield, she must open her right eye, which in itself requires a lot of reiatsu to do. Nikkou's bankai is extremely costly but can be devastating to an enemy if used correctly. To open her right eye is a slow process which requires 1-2 posts, though it can be accelerated in a pinch. As it is opened each eye on the shield slowly begins to open at the same rate as her eye. Once they're entirely opened Nikkou loses energy very quickly, though it opens the path to two extremely powerful abilities which can change the tide of a battle. Even after hundreds of years of training, Nikkou can only keep her right eye open for 3 posts, and there have been very few times where 3 posts was not enough to finish the job. In ressurreccion that time is extended to 4-5 depending on how much she pushes herself. Once her right eye is opened it is similar to Kenpachi removing his eye-patch, Nikkou's reiatsu seems to skyrocket though it is being used up at an even faster rate. During this state Nikkou's shikai abilities are multiplied in effectiveness by 5x except Emotional Supression. Additionally her speed is doubled compared to her Shikai form and she can shunpo so fast that it makes a thundercrack each time she moves at her top speed due to the air rushing into the space she just left. The many eyes on her shield can be divided up to perform her Shikai abilities on multiple targets, the max being 1000. Her abilities can be spread onto a maximum of 1001 targets, although they lose their effectiveness beyond around 10 targets. Some abilities which last for multiple posts can be placed upon someone using all 1001 eyes and can be made to last longer than her thousand eye form, while still retaining 5x their normal effectiveness. Because of this Nikkou sometimes switches to this form solely to place one shikai ability on someone at 5x power before reverting back in order to conserve reiatsu. Abilities made by this last 20 posts maximum.
Emotional Blackout: An enhanced version of Emotional Supression, Emotional Blackout can be an extremely tide-turning move, but is also greatly reiatsu consuming and can have unforeseen side effects. The first requirement for this move is that Nikkou be in her Thousand Eyed state and cannot defending/attacking as her attention will be inconspiciously directed towards using this ability. Once the first requirement is met and she's not preocupied she must close both her eyes, deactivating her Thousand Eyed state for that post and the following. She must keep them closed for 3 seconds and cannot move any part of her body and is especially vulnerable. (Although if her life is in danger she can cancel the move but will still be unable to transform back into her Bankai form for 2 posts) Once that has taken place her eyes will re-open, now seemingly having entirely black irises devoid of color, then an almost unstoppable blast of black reiatsu will shoot from her eyes at speeds 10x faster than a bala into her target for a fraction of a second. This will cause the target to lose consciousness for a very short moment and reawaken with the targeted emotion completely supressed. This applies to every emotion and feeling besides will power. She can completely sap ones confidence, superiority complex, happiness, etc. This lasts for 5 posts during bankai and 7 during ressurreccion. If this ability is successful, Nikkou will be unable to see for a post, but can still sense reiatsu and move freely. Although this ability is draining, it's drain is shared with her Bankai's 3 post limit.
Emotion Swap: An extremely powerful battle-tide changing move which Nikkou sees as a complete and utter last resort, it's a move in which she would not think about using unless her situation or her ally's situation is hopeless; and even then if her ally was not close enough to her she would not use this ability. She find out she could use this ability shortly after she learned Bankai, before Emotional Blackout, but she soon forbid herself to use it because of its powers. Emotion swap is an ability which utilizes emotional illumination and emotional supression at once in a catastrophic or vastly beneficial way. It begins by Nikkou gathering her confidence and stabilizing her will and reiryoku into her eyes while she's in her Bankai state. This can be done while she's fighting but decreases her attack and defense abilities as her reiryoku is relocated. As a sufficient amount gathers in her eyes her left eye becomes one emotional color and her right eye the other selected emotion. Both of these are chosen from her target, and the strength of each emotion in the target does not matter. The eyes then pour out a vast amount of reiatsu of their respective colors in a tsunami of light around Nikkou. If she flash-steps, the entirety of dual-colored reiatsu follows with her albiet draining more of her power, so escaping is very difficult; though not many would see much immediate danger from this ability anyway. Once the target is englulfed in the light, they lose consciousness for a very small moment and re-awaken with the chosen emotions completely swapped in strength. If the attack is successful or not, Nikkou will be blind for 3 posts and must recover her strength during those posts or risk going completely limp for an additional 2 posts. This ability can only be used on a single person, and lasts for a massive 10 posts. If someone is completely filled with hatred and consumed by it, Nikkou can swap that for goodness within the target even if they have no noticeable amounts of it. Doing so will cause them to temporarily act like a different person in that sense. Their strong secondary emotions would also conflict with their new dominant "happiness" and cause the target to enter a state of emotional turmoil. It is because of this abilitie's ability to rip someone's will to pieces that Nikkou never uses it. No one but her knows of this ability's existence either. [Event only]
Inner Hollow
Inner Hollow Personality: Being a hollow, she's viciously violent, even more so than most inner-hollows due to Nikkou being so peaceful. She'll exploit any good chance she has to fight with Nikkou, though she won't confront her if she's emotionally stable and readily able to defeat her. She's very oportunistic, waiting for prime moments to strike. Often she's successful with her strikes, causing all hell to break loose within Nikkou, her outside appearance suddenly becoming full hollow as she's forced to combat herself. Even though she's always outmatched and defeated, she's extremely persistant and often sees her agressive nature as superior to Nikkou's peace loving demeanor. She often disregards peace as a dream not even worth striving for, something too weak to ever sustain itself. Instead she has a strong alignment with chaos and violence, a powerful eat weak philosophy in which those not willing to tear apart their own family will be crushed without hesitation by those who are.
Although she's been beaten and supressed numerous times by Nikkou, she's an irremoveable part of her and despite being less agressive, is almost never directly helpful or obedient. She'll lend her power if Nikkou is in danger or if doing so might help make her more easily consumed, with pleasure. On the other hand, for Nikkou to get the power out of her herself it usually requires a display of dominance and complete mental stability in order to control it. Even when Nikkou does force the power out of her, a lot of times it will only come out in small amounts, because of this Nikkou rarely tries to force a ressurrecion unless absolutely necessary. Her inner-hollows extreme will-power to resist giving in to Nikkou originates from Nikkou's own will-power, and she's always one step behind Nikkou in terms of strength. In fact, this is a very rare occurrence, most inner-hollows eventually stop trying to adamantly to consume their host and somewhat respect them. This is entirely absent in Nikkou's hollow, possibly because it was born when Nikkou was so ridiculously close to hollowfication.
During battle, Nikkou's inner-hollow is very manipulative, often playing on the weaknesses of her opponent in order to make them more suceptible to her Cero. And although exceedingly violent, she is not reckless. She will strike the same wound twice and she'll never show any hesitation, this is clear when Nikkou is in full hollow mode. If she's obviously losing she'll retreat, though she always makes sure that she would actually lose if she continued. She hates facing utter defeat, but will fight to the end if both sides are even or within 1%. If retreat is not an option, her fighting style completely changes, she becomes entirely reckless and unrelenting, knowing sometimes luck can turn the tide of any fight. Instead of inflicting wounds which would inevitably kill her target, she switches to trying to cause wounds in places which would immediately affect her position in the fight such as the eyes or hands. She loves the smell of blood and has uncontrollable giggle-fits which at times leak through to Nikkou, though a rare occurrence. The only thing she has any concern for his Nikkou's existence and her own preservation even though the two are one in the same.
Inner Hollow Powers
Corrupting Cero: Nikkou's inner-hollow's Cero is extremely unique amongst Ceros, it's enitrely black and seems to consume light in an almost demonic fashion. This is the complete opposite of Nikkou's blinding reiatsu color and has nearly the opposite effect. In fact, if one barely dodges this Cero, they can feel the malicious will radiating from the beam. If one is directly hit by it they will have a strong urge to defy any peaceful morals they have and go berserk momentarily if they're not torn in half by the initial impact. The Cero seems to bring up any feelings of violence trapped within a person and amplify them the same way Nikkou's Zanpakutou works. A strong willed person is able to resist this, though they will no doubt have a momentarily lapse in their moral stability for a fraction of a second to up to 3 seconds depending on their will and strength. This hollow is almost exclusive to Nikkou's full hollow takeover during inner battles.
Ordinary Cero: If she so chooses to, she can fire a normal weaker red cero which is a not corrupting at all, she can fire these in rapid bursts.
Bala: Nikkou's Balas are identical to her Ceros although they're faster and much weaker, even more so than her ordinary ceros. They nearly no charge to fire and are usually used to toy or rough up her opponents, if hit by a constant stream of Balas, one might become temporarily moraly unstabilized for up to a minute before cringing onto the floor in horror as witnessing oneself become violent against one's will is mentally harmful. Unlike her Ceros, her Balas have extremely minimal effects against anything near her power level, requiring at least 10 consecutive Bala hits to cause any significant destability. She can fire off hundreds to thousands in a single post, though they're not difficult to dodge unless near point-blank range in which case it's extremely difficult to get away without getting hit by at least 2-3, especially if one is attempting an attack as they're fired.
Hollow Mask Appearance: The revealing of Nikkou's hollow mask is rather disturbing as it appears to push itself out from within Nikkou's skin as if it was hiding beneath. Nikkou's hollow mask is unique in that it's a blank white mask which fits along the curves of Nikkou's real face almost exactly, the only difference is that the eyes are slightly slanted and the mouth seems to be projecting an evil smirk which although so simple, is unnerving if stared at continuously. The mask represents the evil which is inside everyone just below the surface, but here it's revealed. Simply wearing the mask, Nikkou feels as though her alignment is being slowly shifted from good to evil, though because of her mastery this is a very slow process;however, if she wore the mask indefinitely she would succumb to evil and be consumed by her inner hollow.

Enhanced Reiatsu and Endurance: By leeching off of Nikkou's inner hollow she's able to greatly increase her reiatsu reserves to be able to maintain her costly abilities. In addition her reiatsu emits a much less pure feeling to those around her, it has the strange tendency to cause people to have small urges against their morals. The lower ones tier the more this is noticeable, it's especially noticeable for people below the third tier and Nikkou often doesn't put on her mask around weak allies. Her mask also seems to get her pumped, increasing her will to win and create justice.
Enhanced Speed: Donning her mask also increases her speed by a noticeable amount, better abling her to dodge physical attacks or block them with her zanpakutou. Her ability to move in cuving evasive actions is complemented by the speed boost allowing Nikkou the ability to turn on a time by spinning herself on a foot while shunpoing a feat extremely hard to master. Landing an attack on Nikkou is almost impossble if she focuses on avoiding while her mask is on.
Cero & Bala: It is rare for Nikkou to use hollow abilities with only her mask on, though she is perfectly capable of firing gray ceros and balas. They're gray due to her inner-hollows corrupting black ceros being mixed with her pure white reiatsu, at time the grays may be darker or lighter signaling the constant struggle of dominance between the two.
Resurreccion
Resurreccion Appearance: Once Nikkou's hollow mask is on, she can ressurrect. A suffocating layer of black reiatsu leaks from Nikkou's entire body rather quickly as it seems to harden and swirl in certain places. Her eyes and if in bankai the eyes on her shield all become shrouded in black reiatsu and become completely black and ambigious. All color related abilities are now entirely black and only Nikkou can comprehend them, this makes prediction impossible now. Her skin becomes a lot more pale, almost white; her reiatsu seems to gray her entire body because of it's black texture. Her clothing seems to disintigrate as black hierro-like material creates 2 thin interconnecting x's centered over each of her breasts in an exposing bra-like fashion. The same material gives her a skimpy bikini bottom and what appears to be stockings leading to four inch heels. Her shoulders also recieve a plate curved to her body with a spike on each shoulder. If she's in shikai or bankai her shield becomes jet-black and grows curved serrated edges like an over-sized sawblade. Her voice seems to switch on and off between her hollows and her own as she does not have full control in this form.
Resurreccion Description: Nikkou's resurreccion's appearance is completely controlled by her inner-hollow which is why it's so revealing, something Nikkou loathes. She can maintain her resurreccion for about 5 posts while keeping relatively sane, with rare loss of complete control. The longer she stays in it;however, the greater the chance of her doing things she wouldn't normally do. Even though Nikkou has complete control of her body and abilities, her inner-hollow can sometimes speak though Nikkou in a different more seductive tone after a post or two. After 6 posts Nikkou's inner-hollow will be able to interrupt Nikkou at will and keep her from talking as well as have some influence over her movements. As Nikkou has never remained in resurreccion for longer than 6 posts she does not know what might happen and therefore the chances of her doing it in a battle situation are near 0. A rough estimation would be total loss of control and being taken over against her will (even with mental stability and will-power) at around 8-10 posts.
Resurreccion Abilities
Insane Speed and Endurance While in resurreccion Nikkou feels lighter than a feather and does not tire even after long periods of evading attacks and abilities. She could run at top speed [Around mach 2] for the entirety of her resurreccion. Her evasive abilities are also immense, attempting to hit Nikkou while she's resurrected is comparable with trying to hit a fly with a cotton ball. She's often demonstrated the ability to run laps around her enemies and in extreme cases dodge attacks as they contact her skin without getting hurt.
Corrupting Aura: Nikkou's reiatsu is thick and heavy, often covering up portions of her body from view as it swirls around her. This does not hinder her own eyesight though, as it swirls around her body there's a chance for her opponent to miss something as the mass of reiatsu is almost impossible to sense through and sense Nikkou's movements. Because of this thick close range aura, her Reiatsu doesn't affect a large area, keeping within a distance of 5 feet from her body most of the time. Any further requires conscious control. The real danger of her Aura;however, is not the visibility loss, but the effect it has on one's mind. Even the strongest willed of people cannot stay near Nikkou while she's in resurreccion for a long period, both because of its concentrated power and corrupting influence. Entering the aura with any part of ones body will cause them to be prone to moral corruption, the effect is extremely sudden and a light willed person will immediately begin to lose their sanity. Although many people believe their willpower to be true and sound, many have fallen victim Nikkou's aura and attacked teamates or lost the will to fight. During a 1 v 1 losing one's morality may just cause them to fight more dirty and without as much will, but during a group fight it can easily cause one to use their allie as a shield. An equal tiered person to Nikkou will lose 95% of their morality in about 5 seconds of being within the aura's grasp. Approximately 5% of ones morality is what is required to stop oneself from killing someone dear, any longer than 5 seconds and no one is safe. The recovery from the aura is also quick, however, and one can completely escape from the effects by staying away from the aura for twice as long as they were within. A common strategy is attack extremely quickly so that the effect will be minimal, but not everyone is capable of such speed and Nikkou is sometimes prone to grabbing people with her left hand.
Corrupting Blows: After around 2 posts in resurreccion, Nikkou will begin to slightly lose control of the inner-balance and not only her reiatsu will be tainted. If Nikkou decides to partake in physical combat [An extremely rare occurrance if there're other alternatives], each blow will have a significantly higher dosage of corrupting reiatsu than what normally flows around herself. A single blow is equal to around a second of being within her aura, and with her blinding speed she is able to hit scores of times a second with minimal exhaustion. Finding oneself with an all-out physical brawl with Nikkou's resurreccion can quickly mean mental instability.
Decreasing Morality: As Nikkou fights in resurreccion her sense of morality slowly decreases leading her to go for more dangerous, dirty, and painful attacks on her enemies. During the first 2 posts she will be relatively the same with a power boost, though from there her personality changes drastically with every passing post. Sometimes she will even fight the urge to do things, though that puts her in danger and she often goes with the flow of her inner-hollow in order to increase her fighting potential if necessary;otherwise she will just remove her resurreccion.
Her Past
Human Life
Nikkou Sontari was born in a rural japanese village in 1603, at this time the country was somewhat unstable. The previous japanese hierarchy had just been overthrown a couple months before her birth. Her father, Hayoru Sontari, was a very kind, hardworking man who was obsessed with isolating his daughter from the evils of the world. Her mother, Isu Sontari, loved her husband and her daughter equally, and was kind and hardworking just as her husband was. She believed in protecting her daughter from the temptations of evil, but not to the extent of her husband. This, along with Nikkous tendency to go to her mother for advice and explanation, led to Hayoru being slightly jealous. He learned to live with it though, and because of this Isu slowly taught Nikkou the evil humans are capable of with small hints. She eventually attained the idea that all humans weren't as perfect as her parents-- but that was the extent of her mothers teaching. She grew up, homeschooled by her parents into a lovely innocent woman.
By the age of 15 she had a rough interpretation of lying and how people sometimes bent their opinion/truth to not hurt people, but had not been witness to a lie that hurt someone severely. She had also seen people fight/steal in order to get things to feed their family or theirself, but never for their own selfish greed or anything. And whenever she talked about it with her parents they had told her that the people would repay whoever they stole from and apologize. She has still unconceivably innocent as she reached sexual maturity. Her parents had not even mentioned sex to her and she had no clue what men were doing when they made moves on her. She was more or less oblivious to the evils of the world in their darkest manifestations. This all changed on her 16th birthday.
A roaming bandit gang that was wanted by the regional Shogun army was low on food trying to escape from that region. Their path was dead on with Nikkou's village and they rejoiced as they layed their eyes on the semi-properous fishing village. As they rounded the hill nearest to the village they began their descent with reckless abandon. They raised their weapons as they neared the village, roaring out their sinister battle cries. The village members stopped whatever they were doing as they heard the bandits' cries, their expressions ceased any sign of joy, slowly morphing into expressions full of fear. The men of the household told their family to stay inside as they grabbed whatever they could, ready to defend their family with their lives. Of course some of them attempted to flee with their familys, but they were easily overtaken by bandits sent out to hunt down all who tried to flee. Hayoru fell into despair for a moment, but quickly supressed forcing himself to think there was hope for his family. He kissed his tearing wife and his confused daughter once as he ran out the door with a fishing knife shaking in his hand. He never saw his family again.
The bandits made quick work out of all the men of the village as Nikkou shouted at her crying mother demanding what was happening. Isu only held her daughter telling her it would be all right when it was obvious it wasn't going to be. Soon after a bandit entered their hut to which Nikkou screamed asking where her father was. The bandit revealed the truth, which Nikkou didn't believe, couldn't believe. Isu stood up, spreading her arms in a protective way announcing she wouldn't let him hurt his daughter. The bandit laughed, smacking her head as she fell unconcious. Nikkou shook her mother screaming her name. The bandit grabbed a piece of cloth, gagging Nikkou as she cried out, proceeding to rape her. At first Nikkou struggled, but then lay still, as if paralyzed as she finally witnessed what it was her parents sought so hard to protect her from. She was stunned at how easily this man could do something so horrible to her and enjoy it. After it was over she lay still paralyzed as the man left. She died with the village in an inferno, buried alive beneath the burning rubble.
Death Arc
After death, Nikkou parents tried to comfort her. But she was unreachable, her mind was tortured by the memories of her rape, unable to process anything but horror. Her chain of fate was eating itself at a very rapid rate, her encroachment seeming to have less than a couple days before she turned into a hollow. Her parents returned to soul society in tears, thinking it was too late for their daughter. Fortunately, Nikkou had a strong heart, she eventually regained control of herself, only to realize her family was nowhere to be seen. She paniced, looking desperately for them around the village remains as her chain of fate slowly corroded. She screamed in pain during each active phase of encroachment, searching hopelessly for her parents while it was dormant. Nikkou had no clue what was happening, she suddenly felt a little hungered, a feeling she had almost forgotten as a spirit. Her hollowfication was near its culmination. She gripped her chest in pain as the final encroachment process began, her chain beginning to rapidly eat itself.
The screamed in despair, her eyes widening in horror as she awaited her end. It was then she heard a voice within herself.. calling. She then slipped into her subconcious, appearing in a world she had never seen before. She was at the base of a truly massive tree, over 1,000 feet tall, the tree was in the center of a forest, made up of equally enormous trees-- some seeming even larger. The voice called out to her again, comming from the side of a tree where a naked woman stood, defying gravity. She spoke in a low, calm tone, "At the top of this tree.. you will find freedom. But you must hurry, before this world is consumed by your despair." As she finished she pointed outwards, the trees were slowly fading away from the edge of the forest inward. They were dissolving in air, at a uncomfortable pace. "Go Nikkou, bend the reishi to your will and fly, or drown beneath your despair and be consumed by hunger.. " The strange woman disappeared, leaving Nikkou alone. Nikkou felt a quick sense of despair, feeling as if she should sit there and let herself be consumed by it.
But, she crushed that feeling, erased it from her life never to be felt again, she replaced it with an iron conviction. "I will live on.. To make this world a better place, to clense the wicked and heal the wounded, to never again stand still. I will resist, and I will stand as a beacon, leading people from the temptation of evil, to the divine goodness within us all!" And with that, she felt like a new being, a being with a purpose. She found she could walk on air, fly even, and she reached the top of the tree as despair closed in around her. In the center of the tree, standing vertically jammed between two splitting branches was the hilt of a snow-white blade. She grasped it, holding it with both hands tightly as the mysterious woman appeared once more. She smiled lightly as Nikkou's vision began to fade to white, when it cleared she found she was back in the real world wearing shinigami clothing.
Soul Society Arc
Nikkou wandered along the Earth for days, fighting her inner-hollow on and off in life-threatning battles often. She wondered why she was in this clothing, what the blade at her side was and why this monster inside herself seemed to know so much more than she did about her sword. She eventually fought information from her inner-hollow during fights, learning that her sword had a name. What that name was it never told her, only threatning to consume her at even the slightest opportunity. At times she awoke from an inner battle at the center of a charred landscape, the results of her unconscious hollow transformations. Day after day she rampaged throughout the lands bordering her village, like an invisible terror to the people there. Eventually word of her destruction spread to Soul Society where shinigami were sent to eliminate her only to find a friendly Shinigami-like girl begging for them to stay back. Of course they didn't listen, and were slaughtered as she was forced into another fight with her inner hollow. During this period of her life she had fell into despair many times begging for the mysterious women within her to teach her to be strong and defeat the hollow within her. But no answer was heard, she remained hidden and unknown to Nikkou. During her first battles she easily dismissed the hollow, but slowly she weakened, unmotivated and without knowledge of what she was, each following fight the Hollow seemed to become stronger as well, and during the course of a month it seemed she was close to being overwhelmed and consumed by despair and lonliness. It was during this climactic fight that Nikkou gave up, riddled in wounds and despair in front of her inner hollow, she abandoned her will, seeing no purpose in this pathetic life she was within. It was here that she heard a voice, calm and tranquil "Why do you give up so easily?.. Have you no desire to fight against evil? Here you are with your head on a platter, stand up and take me, Nikkou. Wield me, my name.. is Venus" Nikkou took the blade which seemed to materliaze before her and defeated her inner hollow once again.. this time for a while.
Following this significant battle Nikkou regained her confidence and purpose and began to meditate, training with her Zanpakuto spirit Venus for long hours each day. Her training was interrupted;however, as another team of Shinigmi came in response to her slaughtering of the previous ones. As she told them how she killed them with tears in her eyes, they didn't seem to understand, proceeding to try and kill her almost immediately. She got away however and was somewhat disturbed that the only people who were smilar to her had tried to kill her. She continued training on earth for the next hundred years, taming the beast within her and unlocking her masked form and shikai with a lot of effort. She found her powers to be extremely supportive and thus decided that such a solitary existence was definitely not her fate. She had changed in appearance greatly during this time and was now an extremely formiddable opponent. She hunted down the closest Shinigami who was assigned to a region a couple miles from her location and asked if they would kindly take her to their "Headquarters". Eventually she was lead there and was immediately recognized as a capable shinigami and assigned the job of eliminating hollows and threats to Soul Society as there was no Shino academy at this time. She is assigned to Squad four at first and quickly rises through the ranks to vice-captain within weeks due to her obvious superiority in ability over the previous Vice-captain. She accepted this place as her fate and was told much about the world and such, she also read that anything related to hollows was eliminated from Soul Society, so she was clever enough to know to never reveal her Vizard powers until she had gained a large amount of trust from the Gotei.
She was trained under Retsu Unohana for a long time and was not very far below her in terms of prowess, they were both similar in age and became great friends, often having long discussions and meals together. They grew very close and eventually Nikkou decided she needed to tell at least someone, she revealed her powers to Unohana briefly completely unthreateningly. Even though they had been friends for 50 years, Unohana was taken aback, seeing such forbidden powers within her most prized student. Nikkou tried desperate to convince her that she could control them but it was no use, she immediately reported it to Yamamoto. At this time Unohana was ordered to restrain her friend, but that she could not do, she said goodbye as Nikkou escaped from Soul Society not to be heard of for a long time.
Earth Arc
She had learned much from them;however, and was an extremely elusive target. Although the Gotei sent many squads and even captains to hunt her down, she eluded them on and off for a year with no trace of her presence leading the Gotei to believe she had killed herself. This was not the case though, she had been training herself in solitary once more in order to grow stronger, she felt there would definitely be a time where she'd be able to put a good use to her strength. By this time she and her inner hollow had come to agreement and it knew it had no chance now, earlier it had many opportunities, but Nikkou was not easily despairing these days, so she kept complete control over her hollow and developed her resurrecion by herself. It was at this point that the Gotei had ceased searching specifically for her, though her impact still mingled and often shinigami would joke and blame her for mysterious leveled areas and large reiatsu surges--though they had no proof.
It was around this time that Nikkou realized she still had not regained a purpose, 5 years after fleeding the Gotei. In between breaks of training, Nikkou let down her guard as she pondered if there even was a life for her, again she became filled with feelings of empitness, and again she was taken advantage of by her inner hollow. She had a massive inner battle, her inner hollow fighting on the fact that she could give Nikkou a purpose, and Nikkou fighting back desperately not willing to be consumed. On the outside Nikkou transformed and ravaged across the landscape, and Soul Society had received information of her. Unohana took matters into her own hands, and set out by herself with the gut feeling that whatever was doing this would be Nikkou. As she arrived, she was immedtiately assaulted by Nikkou's full-hollow form and was injured almost instantly due to underestimating it.
