She falls quiet. Did she? Ulv? Did they infect him with something somehow? That… The thought makes her feel a bit uneasy. Does his daughter and girlfriend know about this? Though, she doesn’t want to worry too much about that. It is what it is. All they can do right now is get him home. Then, they’ll have to work on how to fix him up.

“How long have you been sick, Alex?” She’d ask looking up to him.

"How? Ah, well, ya know. I hang out with a lotta Hollows, so that's not really helpin' things. My girl's an Arrancar too, so ya know. Lotta energy and all that shit gettin' tossed back and forth."

Normally, he couldn't have really cared less if he just told someone how all that worked. But given he saw Elyss as a younger sister, it would have just felt incredibly awkward if he started talking about him and Nel making out and shit. Didn't quite seem right.

"It's been a few months now. Used to be worse, but I at least got some meds that keep it in check. Not as bad as it was, but it sure as shit ain't great yet."

Well, that is news. That is big news. That would pretty much explain this situation exactly. Alex’s been fucking some Hollow and now has Hollow aids. It all makes sense. How stupid of him. He should have worn protection! Wait. Is there protection for something like that? It seems more energy based than anything physical like that. How frustrating, but now, Elyss wants to meet this Nel person even more. Alex should do well to remember that Elyss has been around Ulv for months. She’s pretty much, somewhat, desensitized to crap such as kissing or whatever couples get up to.

“Tch… Idiot. You should have seen this coming. Hell, Ulv should have at least seen this coming. You guys are always doing reckless crap; must run in the family… despite none of us being related. Maybe it’s a redhead thing.”

She sighs and continues to support him as they move onward. Where are they even heading to? Elyss doesn’t know where Alex stays or how to get around in Vastime at all. He’ll have to give her directions or something.
