He'd gotten the green light to help prepare the less combat savvy kids. He had more experience in fighting than he'd care to admit. Combat was a daily way of life and strategic importance. To understand that the duty they held was a go in the frontlines themselves. They were the first line of defense for the Gotei when the military came up. But since Ibiki'd resigned the Division had been lackluster. Stealth-based combat had become more focused. His digits gently gripped the stairs as he waited. His eyes black as though he wore his hollow mask. The radioactive tinge of yellow in his eyes. Fighting was sweet nectar, something that held importance. Some people did take it too far in both directions.

He preferred to enjoy his matches and test his swordsmanship. He decided to do this because someday they would have to fight. Maybe not now when the world settled into peace. But there would come a day when someone bitter would come. The question of who and when were unknown. Enemies change from day to day it was this he learned. One moment it's Zefonse Kaizme. The next moment it's Mana and her kin.

Tomorrow's enemy was unknown, it wasn't healthy to obsess on it. But it was good to prepare yourself mind and body for that day. Thus whoever came to participate in this little Gotei exclusive training course. He'd make sure to address whatever they were looking to improve on.

A melee between the Combat Division didn't mean much to him. He'd need to recruit some people at some point for this. He leaned back his head resting against the wooden beam of one of the building supports. His Zanpakuto resting at his side.

Who'd answer the call for being ready, militarily it was two Division's job to be the muscle and silence. Stealth and COmbat handled the brunt of the fighting. He had no sway truth be told. But Yoriko would likely come, she knew him well enough.

Yoriko shunpo'd around looking for the realm enforcement division. Happy to see Jaeden to train again, that festival was great and hopefully he felt the same. Looking down she'd see Jaeden once again relaxing with zanapaktou by his side. He really needs to expand his friends some mire..then again she never introduced him to anyone else. Perhaps she'd ask her aunt to meet him they'd probably get along well.

FwipA kunai would appear as it pierced the dirt in front of Jaeden as the young girl happily approached the Vizard but not before making a grand entrance. Well in actuality she was hiding behind a bush as if she was doing something cool. Chuckling to herself "Yoriko you are a genius. Using a clone before coming here to introduce him like normal. And when he's distracted BAMhe'll be beneath my feet. Thinking of the whole idea and execution in her head.

Yoriko will have then use her earth sensing abilities to see if he'd move. If not she would remember what she was taught earlier about using hoho to get past her opponent tho Jaeden was a bit tricky. So using the earth to suppress the sound her feet were making she'd make a quick decision of throwing another kunai at him then shunpo again and again using equipment she resupplied from at the stealth division. Then make slabs like before this time farther away, finally approaching Jaeden with a nice roundhouse kick to the neck from behind.

Take th- She stopped as her stomach demanded food growling, the girls eyes looked at Jaeden in embarrassment. In response she just walked in front of him placing a hand behind her head as she coughed awkwardly. "Eheheh so much for being sneaky. A-Anyways, i heard that the 4th division needs more members, well your looking at the newest member right here!" She pointed at herself as she smirked.

Although her time here had been rather short and it had been quite a while, Hanako found that she still knew her way around Fourth Division's quarter. At least well enough to find the training court that was used in today's exercise. Hanako still couldn't say what had prompted her to visit the Fourth again to take part in a training. Maybe because she wanted to see who that Jayden Crow was. Maybe because he had called it an 'Gotei exclusive' event, not a 'Fourth Division exclusive'.

When she arrived at the training grounds she saw that she wasn't the first to arrive. There was one who had to be Jaeden. Since she knew he was male it had to be the white haired man. The other one she didn't know. It was a woman with a heavily modified Shihakusho, which probably meant that she had a special fighting style. Her own training was coming along well, as well as her training with Magnolia. Still, she could always use more.

It seemed as if the woman wanted to surprise Jaeden. Hanako watched as the attempt went completely sideways because of an earthshaking sound, produced by the girl's stomach. Hanako sighed silently and stepped forward.

The first thing she realised about the other two were that Jaeden was incredibly strong, maybe even on par with the likes of Magnolia. Or if not, then he wasn't far away. The girl could have been on Hanako's level, but she really wasn't sure in that department.
The second thing was that the two of them were a good deal shorter than her, the girl even almost half a meter. This was something Hanako was already used to. As far as she could think back she hadn't met many Shinigami that reached her height, even among the men. But then again, 'as far as she could think back', wasn't even a decade, was it?
The third thing, at this made her blush for the fraction of a second, was that the two of them were quite handsome. While Jaeden was a fit and well built man, the unknown girl had a body any woman could only be jealous of. A typical hourglass shape, natural and, Hanako couldn't think of it otherwise, sexy. Well, if nothing else, at least there had been some eyecandy.

Bloody hell, Hanako really had changed. She knew who she had to thank for that. But she still didn't know what to think of it.

"Ahem." She coughed politely and waited until the two had acknowledged the presence of the tall, well trained woman with the braided, dark-red hair and the icy blue eyes. She wore her Shihakusho, which was standard, apart from the missing sleeves. Her Zanpakuto was in her obi on her left side.

Hanako bowed and mainly adressed Jaeden, who, according to her knowledge, would be today's sensei. So she adressed him with all due respect.

"Sumimasen, Crow-sensei. I heard you were holding a training session, open for all Gotei members. If this is so, then I would like to participate. My name is Hanako Yamada, First Squad. Onegai shimasu."

Well, it seemed that Yoriko was up to her normal shenanigans trying something before her stomach betrayed her. Jaeden pulled from behind him a plate of onigiri he'd made before they arrived. He rested his chin on the palm of his hand. Amused that Yoriko would be joining the combat Division. Guess the nights of quiet conversation with himself were over. His eyes switched to the newcomer.

Well, it was open to anyone in the Gotei to join. "Help yourselves to the Onigiri, but tell me. What you want to work on before we begin. " He said his eyes looking on at them. This was a workshop of a different beast. No devices would be made here today. Only skills and things brushed upon and then maybe a match.

He began tying a cord around his Zanpakuto, top make sure it didn't leave the sheath. He wouldn't be using lethal force or fighting at his all. Jaeden intended only to test and provoke responses of growth. They both were still saplings growing there powers. But someday they would be put to the test against something in the world.

He was a former Captain and Vizard Corps leader. So he did have that reputation behind him. Among a few other varied accomplishments. But Jaeden specialized in a few fields and could give education to someone who sought it.

Jaeden slipped his sword in his sash's area to let it rest. Before cracking his shoulders preparing himself. Right now the state he was in allowed him to use hollow powers. But they were weakened by a considerable amount from his masked form. Still, the fact he could draw on them without it was astonishing.


IF he had to estimate it, he'd guess he was at 20% power of his hollow skills without his mask. The technique or power growing wasn't refined just yet. But it would be his go-to for this training session. Something for him to focus on while training them.

Took a bit more concentration than normal things would with his mask, but that was fine. He was pretty sure that it was going to surprise Yoriko. When they were ready he'd stood in what would be the open court area. It had sand around it, well kept with practice dummies removed. It was a small battle arena for practicing skills. The larger one was a bit further away and not something he could get permission for yet.

Captain Commander Abalia gave him permission to teach and prepare them. A teacher learns as his students do. That was the mantra he lived by, his eyes watching them closely.

"When you are ready, you can attack me with what you wish to work on."

A cough was heard from someone as the girl turned her head to see a woman. The shihakshou she wore didn't have the sleeves, Yoriko could definitely relate why the heck do they make them so long in the first place? What if it gets caught in something, clearly the person who designed them didn't thought this through.

"Oh sorry i didn't see you there. She waved at the person and gave a bow giving the stranger the same amount of respect anyone would give to a leader. It was a common thing after all, regardless her interest in training along side Jaeden and herself put a smile on her face. Although the blush on the woman was a bit concerning, why is everyone so attracted to her? Pondering she realized shihakshou kinda exposed some parts it, and she wasn't fit just an average build.

Introducing herself as Hanako, the shinigami did the same her tone showing enthusiasm. "That's wonderful. The more the merrier, my names Yoriko Morri."

Then Jaeden came prepared having some Onigiri on standby giving them something to fill their stomachs before they began training. Sitting down crossed the girl sat down and took one but not before thanking him. The discussion went towards improving their skills, she wasn't sure what Hanako wanted to do. "Well..i kinda want to improve my strength. These arms need some training, especially if i'm gonna chuck rocks.

Hanako was greeted with equal courtesy. She was glad that at least these two fellow shinigami had good manners. And she learned the name of the girl, Yoriko.

"Pleased to make the acquaintance." Hanako said.

Jaeden seemed to be pretty laid back and relaxed. Completely different than some other members of the fourth Habako had met previously. Even if she took into account that she herself was not the same she was back then.
When Jaeden offered Onigiri she graciously accepted one. She liked Onigiri, it was a light snack, came in countless variations, was easily preserved and so simple that even she could make some.

The thought that she lacked in cooking skills was so prominent that she almost named this when Jaeden asked what it was that she liked to improve. Hanako managed to get her thoughts focused without her face betraying her.

"At the moment I am focusing much of my training on my sword skills. So naturally this. Although strength is also something I wouldn't mind improving." She said with a nod to Yoriko.
"Basically fighting skills and combat prowess."

She shrugged. Although she preferred to train with the sword it was mainly because she liked this type of weapon so much. Hanako had nonproblem at all to leave her comfort zone. Her whole life, the one she remembered, had been about leaving comfort zones and establishing new ones. In this case she had decided that it probably would be prudent to establish the whole of the shinigami combat skills as her comfort zone. She wanted to improve not only as a swordswoman, but as a wariorress and shinigami.

When Jaeden told them to attack with whatever they wished, Hanako hesitated a moment. Memories flashed before her inner eye of a time when she was greener than the grass in the gardens of a noble family and rushed forward alone and without coordinating with others in an almost desperate attempt to prove herself. But she had changed. So she took a step back, her left hand already at her sword, ready to draw it any time. But she waited and looked for Yoriko, what she would do.

Jaeden's eyes closed as he thought for a moment. It seemed to him the solution for both of them was the same. He walked over to a box on the ground pulling out some stuff. Two wrist and leg weights there were fairly heavy. Along with something similar that looked like it clipped on to a sword. His frame walked over towards them without hostile intentions. "Well, in that case, I've got a solution. It's primitive but the results are good more often than not."

He handed out the clip to Hanako, it was heavier than it looked. It would make her Sword heavier and harder to swing. Thus it would prove effective for training her swordsmanship and strength. He walked over holding out the bracelets to Yoriko. They were made to weigh down the body in that place. The muscles both of them needed to exercise were different.

Jaeden walked back to his position having prepared them both with special equipment. It was up to them if they trusted his judgment or not. He inhaled a soft breath now as he prepared himself mentally. His expression didn't change from the light one he wore.

This match was a two vs two and he'd be ready to fight like that. Training methods had radically changed over the years. He knew that within himself as the two were left to decide. They could put them aside or use them it was their choice. Jaeden wasn't of the mind to force people to do anything.

"Oh, no Ninja tricks Yoriko..You want to train strength, so I expect you to apply it to do so. " His expression looked at the Ninja. Henrex's daughter liked her plans and enjoyed using techniques and tricks in open capacity.

"Muscle won't grow if you don't use them Yoriko." Jaeden said finally before resting his hand on his Zanpakuto's hilt. He'd let them plan or plot whatever they want.

Yoriko's expression was that of curiosity as Jaeden returned with a box, opening it it revealed a sword along with arm and leg bracelets. For the two, she watched as he gave a sword to Hanako while she was handed bracelets. Putting them on she could feel the weight it felt different than the ones she had in the forest. But it was part of the strength training so getting used to it was the main concern. If the girl couldn't do that how could she ever grow as a fighter.

Yoriko walked away from the two looking at Hanako for a few seconds motioning her to come towards the ninja. She was a bit slower due to the weights but it was an adjustment she'd have to get used to
"Alright. We need a plan, something that he wouldn't expect. What're you good at?" she asked whispering to the shinigami, she wanted to know the strengths she had possessed, learning one another's strengths and weaknesses will be helpful in a 2 v 1 scenario.

For a moment Hanako looked at the clip that Jaeden had handed him. When she weighed it in her hand like that it wasn't that heavy. But Hanako guessed, quite right as she would find out in a moment, that it was completely different when it was clipped to her sword. The weight of her own sword was something she was thoroughly used to. Something she didn't even think about. She felt it, it was normal, it was expected.

Finally she just shrugged her worries away and clipped the weight to the blade. Instantly she felt how it drew the blade towards the ground and how it totally screwed up the center of gravity. It would be uncomfortable and arduous to wield like this.
Odly, for a moment there, it felt as if the sword would vibrate in a disapproving way. It was odd in multiple ways. For one, Hanako still wasn't sure if her sword was a Zanpakuto or an Asauchi. Yes, she had caught glimpses of something, but she still wadn't sure of what and so was still sceptical. And two, she wasn't exactly sure if it was physically possible for anything to vibrate disapprovingly. It was like a duck smiling...it shouldn't be possible.

Hanako walked over to Yoriko.

"If you're asking if I have a speciality, then no, I have none. But I prefer the sword over other forms of combat, with hand-to-hand on second place. Hope that helps."

She swung the sword a few times to test the new feel. It was way heavier and slower.

"We're both a lot slower, I guess."

She bit her lower lip for a second.

"How about we attack him in turns? You want to improve your strength and I mainly my sword skills. So we should use techniques that play into that. It wouldn' make much sense to use kido, would it?"
Hanako didn't add that she wasn't very good at kido anyway. Anything in the lower third was okay. Anything in the upper two thirds...well, not so much.
"Also those weights slow us down. We could compensate this if we take turns. You start an attack, the moment you prepare for the next I attack from a different angle. Then you again, me again. If we time it right and maybe manage to flank him…maybe worth a try, what do you think?"

While she talked she left her eyes on Jaeden. She wasn't so sure that the good-looking sensei wouldn't attack on his own if the two women took too much time now.

Inhaling a breath as he stood there letting them plot. His digits slowly clasping the hilt of his zanpakuto. He was going to change something about the area. Swiftly with a fluid form, his sword cut through the ground. Carving a line into the sand as he held his sheathed Zanpakuto. Jaeden was formally known as an excellent Swordsman. Capable of executing the Crow techniques. But deciding to not do so for personal reasons. His family practiced precise Reishi manipulation as Shinigami. But he stopped being that a long time ago.

His digits felt the cool hilt and the heft of his weapon. Did he bother telling Hanako, that his family was Sword Masters? What did that term even mean here at this stage? They weren't around anymore only him left in this place. He'd gotten multiple offers to join another family. They wanted offspring from him, due to his family's eyes.

His family's bodies were different from normal ones, allowing them to contain Reishi and control the function of it to extremely precise levels inside them. Heightening their senses and feeling themselves out. His lips curled into a smile as a voice came through his years.

"So..are you going to use our power?" Vait asked sitting looking bored inside the world. Within Jaeden's inner world his Zanpakuto and Hollow began getting along better. Even discussing some combinations possibly. "Not right away, we train the body first..Then the spirit and mind." He said softly with his digits feeling the familiar addiction inside him.

The tug of his desire to put his vizard powers to work. But they both wanted to work on strength. Well, it wasn't like the Combat Division would do much else. Yoriko was joining this Division. Prehap's he would find a student, no he was still one himself. Maybe it was time to accept himself even further. Slowly a glimmer began forming around his Zanpakuto. Reiatsu began pooling around the hilt as it grew heavy against the ground causing it to crack.

When they come it begins, when the line is crossed there won't be any retreat.
