- Appearance Age: Late Teens, Early Twenties.

- Appearance Description:
Shirou Mamoru is a fairly young man that would be consider plain. His height landed him around 5'7 making him slightly taller then average. His weight lands him close to 160-range do to extreme work out regiment. Due to this his became lean and fit give him the body of an agile athlete. Although not stocky he does have well shaped muscles that looks like he has none at all.
His face is of Asian decent giving him a plan and uninteresting look. Although he does has two exotic facial features. The first is his auburn hair that lays flare, but slightly spikes up. The second is his golden eyes look out with innocents, but at the same time it is that of a warrior.
His normal attire is that of a long sleeved white shirt and his pants are faded jeans. Although in battle he changes to a light combat armor colored a dark blue. Over the armor he wears a two part white cloak. The first part is his torso area; it comes down towards his mid back. The cloak is attached to the armor itself by two metal plates slightly below his neckline. The bottom portion of his cloak splits into two sections that mainly cover his legs, but allow him mobility.

- Personality:
Shirou is what you could call the nice guy. Although most would also call him distorted because he believes in fighting for what’s right. Meeting him normally you would see him stopping to pick up something someone dropped even with his hands full. He would even help some one that was clearly taking advantage of him, and most of time people would have to step in to make it stop. He believes in that there is good nature in all people. Even if the is not true for all people to be good. If he had to fight he would only do so to protect others. He would rush headlong into battle if someone were in danger of dying. To save as many as possible even if it leaves him broken and shattered. Even then, if there was a sliver of hope a person could be saved he would try until his last gasp of breath.

- Background:
Fire that is what Shirou has for his earliest memory. He has no memory of his life before the flames, just as the fire destroyed the city it also burned away his memories. As the fires settled he was found older man that picked him up from the rubble of at the edge of the disaster zone. His savior took him to a new home deep within the forests and away from the cities. There he healed him and taught him. Although his savior and adopted father raised him for a few years, it did not last long. The man Shirou respected was dyeing for an old age. Three years after he was saved his adopted father died leaving Shirou to fend for himself. Although before he died he imprinted on Shirou his own ideals of helping people and to save people no matter the challenge.
It was at this time when he discovered his powers. At the time he has no clue what they are or how to use them, but he understands one thing. These powers could help him with his desire to help and save people. He forced himself into ridicules training regiments to help him form his power. Six months he trained and surviving off the land. He was content to live an unhindered life style, but then a friend of his adopted father came. Living a life in a small cabin was fine and all, but not for a ten year old boy. They took Shirou to the city enrolled him in school and been declared his legal guardian. Although Shirou let no one know of his powers.
He led a normal life in a fairly large home that was once his adopted fathers. He would go to school, participate in club, namely archery, cooking, cleaning, and even work a job. His guardian even stopped by regularly and made sure the boy was well. Although at night he would go to a near by forest and train his powers and physical body. Towards the end of his last year of his schooling a Hollow attacked forcing Shirou to act. He held the Hollow back and defeated it, but those he once called friend turned their backs on him. Once his powers where reveled his guardian, a man of questionable means, acquired need different equipment of the Quincy’s. There after he spent year training, and then headed out to live his dream of being a hero.

- Human Skills:
Calligraphy: The skill of beautiful writing. Compared to most skill to be proficient at Calligraphy is perhaps one of the most useless of things to know. Never less Shirou practiced this skill as a testament to his adopted father. He taught Shirou this as a way to clear his mind. Even after his death Shirou continued to practice this skill.

Forestry: Another skill Shirou learned from his adopted father. During those three years his father poured into limitless knowledge of the land. The knowledge served Shirou well as he was able to find food and clean water during his six months alone. Once he was forced back into society he gained access to the Internet and learned even more He studied the subject learn all he could of nature; a passion created by his adopted father.

Cooking: Choosing to leave alone forced Shirou to learn how to cook. While living in the forest he lived off of food like grilled fish, or mix berries and nut even a few vegetables from the small garden. He missed his adopted father’s cooking once he returned to the city and take out wasn’t going to cut it. Therefore he started learning how to cook so he would never be out of good food.

Acrobatics: Shirou skill of acrobatics came about when he was training himself. It started off with him running through the forest. Then running up fallen logs, to jumping off of tree sides, flipping over fences, and so on. Since he is self-trained in the skill he is not a master. Although he does see it’s uses with battle. Dodging being the main benefactor.

- Quincy Items: Seele Schneider, is the only Quincy equipment he owns other then his Cross and a Gintō. He carries around thirty-six Seele Schneider while in combat gear. He mainly uses them as blades to be used in combat, since he has yet to figure out their use as an arrow. Although at times he will use them like throwing knives to catch his opponents off guard.
Although he carries a Gintō he has no knowledge on how to use it. Other then storing Reiyoku only real use he has figured out is a way to give his attack a quick boost. How ever there is a draw back to drinking from his Gintō. By drinking the liquid Reiyoku Shirou takes in a large amount of Reishi, but the massive intake could cause internal damage. The chance of this happening is slim while healthy but the possibility increase greatly with damage.

- Quincy Cross: Shirou’s cross is small with a rough length of two inches long and one and a half inches wide. It is layered into three sections, with a circle centered on the middle. The first layer is spiked out give the four pointed cross a star shape. Accenting the star shape is a layer of metal tempered to a blue color. Finally the last layer is a starburst that reaches to the circle.

- Other Skills:

Archery Much like any Quincy he is proficient in Archery. This comes from the eleven years he has been continuously practiced with a bow. He has even developed it to the point where he can be in mid leap and fire his arrows.

Heilig Pfeil Due to his self taught training, Shirou has not come to claims with other Quincys, but he has increased in what he can do. Other Quincys have the ability to fire continuously and rain down a large amount of arrows. While Shirou cannot fire continuously he has the ability to fire a large amount of arrows. A single shot from his bow acts like a shotgun, peppering his opponents with a hailstorm of hundred arrows. After the incident with the hollow, and his guardian obtaining some Quincy gear, Shirou tried to learn some more techniques. No fruit has come of this labor yet, but Shirou decided to name his technique Wolkenlicht Pfeil.

Negation of Attacks Again another technique he learn from his self training. This one he developed by holding on the string so that Wolkenlicht Pfeil combines into one bolt. This attack is faster and stronger then his other attack, but requires a post to charge. He has named this attack Sternenlicht Schuss. Combine this attack with his moving target training Shirou has the ability to incept attacks. The attack Sternenlicht Schuss encounters will cause the arrow to price it and disperse the Reishi. If the attack is stronger then Sternenlicht Schuss the arrow can cause the attack to split leaving Shirou unharmed. Although it has the ability to Negate attacks, it is still attack in itself. It total offensive power can allow it to price a steel beam, length wise, from end to end. Although the process of charging can be ignored if he drinks from his Gintō.

Spiritual Awareness Possible the only thing of his abilities that did not require training. His Spiritual Awareness has always been an passive ability. Thus he has acquired a good sense of how to use it. Much like a radar system he can pin point a target, but unlike radar he can keep track of their location even if he cannot see them.

Hirenkuaku Again a self taught skill. Shirou learn of this ability when he was thirteen years old. While practicing his Free Running abilities he missed judge a gap he tried to leap. He would have missed and the landing would have seriously hurt him. He tried using his Reiyoku to soften his landing. Instead he instinctively channeled it into his feet causing him to slam into a tree. Although the impact hurt, he tried to figure out what happened and quick started to experiment. Since then it has been a subject that he spent a large time figuring out and practicing. It could be said it is the only technique he has exceptional understanding of.

- Type: Shirou uses a four foot recurve bow. The arrows it fires look like shooting stars. The heads of the arrows are thinker while the body forms a narrow slit.

- Roleplay Sample:
Shirou's felt numbly dull from his class assignment. His arm rested on his desk propping up his head as he looked out the window. His golden eyes looked out almost as if willing something to happen. He didn't know why, but ever since he arrived at school his hair was standing on end.
He didn't like it.
The feeling in the air was heavy, and every hour that past made the feeling heavier. What ever it was, it was going to appear soon. Then a powerful wave of malice washed over him causing him to stand up and knocking his chair over. His teacher was about to ask what was the matter. Then the school's alarm rang.
"Attention students a Hollow has appeared in the school premise. Please follow your teachers instructions and evacuate." The intercom warned.
Shirou didn't think, he acted. Homing in on the spiritual pressure he jumped out the window causing glass to fly with him. He felt his body falling before he channeled the Reishi around his feet forcing him to the ground and the Hollow. The glass shattered as they hit the ground, but Shirou was already on the move. Without thinking golden Reishi formed his white a gold recurve bow. Sensing his power the Hollow turned to face him.
"The ugliest mug I have ever seen" Shirou thought to himself as he moved forward with this bow drawn taut. The golden string hummed as he release a hail storm of golden bolts. Each buzzing with energy as they sought the blood of their master's foe.
