As the cruel arc of energy from Bid'Daum's blade traveled the pale rakshasa felt several things. Even now he could instinctively feel just how outclassed he was against Magnolia, but such a thing only served to deepen the grin upon the demons face. He could feel the multitude of souls passing on around him, every once in a while a stray soul being drawn down his maw with the odd deeper inhalation. But more than the dying men and women around him, and their souls, the pale male could feel something else. He couldn't pinpoint where, but the rakshasa was sure he could feel it.. Another of his kind walked the world of the living.. And hell had been wrought forth.. For him to feel such a thing, and be unable to pinpoint the location, Bid'Daum could only think of a few of his kind that were strong enough to cause such a thing. In the time the demon processed these thoughts not but a moment had passed, his eyes on Magnolia as she responded to his strike.

For but a moment, just as the ground gave way beneath her, Bid'Daum lost sight of his foe. If it weren't for the shower of sparks and energy as her blade met his attack he was sure he wouldn't have spotted her till it was nearly too late. As it were, as his strike was cleaved in two along the side, Bid'Daum was able to track his foe, and thus ready himself for what would come next. Without the time to think of how to respond to it Magnolia had close the distance, her blade flashing towards him in a brutal downward slash. Bringing his own blade up at an angle the demon would manage to divert, with quite a bit of effort, the blow to his left where it would come to a controlled stop just above the ground.. A testament to Magnolia's skill with the weapon, as well as the control she possessed over her own body.

While one blow would be diverted that had left him open for the near instantaneous followup. Due to how he had to position his blade to divert the previous blow Bid'Daum was left completely open to the elbow, taking a brutal blow to the sternum the pale demon would now learn that his strength didn't necessarily mean a strong body. The moment the blow would hit the breaking of bone would be heard, the coppery taste of blood would greet the demons tongue as it passed his lips, along with any air held in his lungs. Viciously coughing the rakshasa would have but a moment to leap backwards, as the tearing of fabric reached his ears Bid'Daum knew he had just cleared Magnolia's strike, a large cut across the front of his outfit revealing the flesh beneath being evident of that. As a result of the cut material one could now see a darkening bruise spreading across the center of the rakshasa's chest, and the labored breathes Bid'Daum was now taking as a result of the broken bones throughout.

Wheezing with each breath the white haired demon eyes his foe, clutching the handle of his blade hard enough to whiten his knuckles. While he had figured he was completely outclassed he hadn't quite though a single hit would nearly shatter every bone in the region of his chest. If here were a mere mortal, or perhaps anything but what he was, he figured he'd either be down and out at this very moment... or dead. Such a thought only served to cause the demon to scoff at himself, sickened by the state he was now in. At the same time the rakshasa couldn't help but be excited.. He had missed this feeling during his slumber.. The feeling of a life or death fight. And so ignoring all others on the battlefield Bid'Daum made Magnolia his sole focus, only keeping enough attention on the battle to be sure he wouldn't be surprised by another from behind.

It was evident to the voracious demon that he couldn't hold back, and thus summoning a portion of his layer was necessary at this point.. Either that, and unleashing his seals.. Or unleashing it. And so a decision was made.. Eyeing his blonde foe Bid'Daum would let loose his demonic energy, a brilliant aura of whites and greys erupting to life around him. At the same moment the rakshasa would assert his will upon the world around him, his demonic energy and nature as a raksasha serving to aid in said will taking root. The affects would be instant.. first the sound of a monstrous train would be heard.. then metallic walls, ceilings, and floors would form around he and Magnolia.. and finally, as all asserted itself into the reality of the living world, the momentum, shaking, rattling, and rocking of a trains movement would become a reality to the demon and his blonde foe.. For now the battle would commence upon his own field of choice, one in which he could fight at his full potential. And so in the moments following Magnolia's assault Bid'Daum had unleashed Naraka Rēlagāṛī, the Hell Train, upon Earth.

Naraka Rēlagāṛī:

The moment the train would come into reality Bid'Daum would enact the next step of his thoughts, unleashing his full base power. Now, while his layer was brought forth, was the only time he could follow through with this next portion. Immediately the crown atop the white locks of hair would be enveloped in a black mist-like glow as the demon initiated Sīla Rilīja, tapping into the first portion called Ādhā Rilīja or half release. The moment these abilities would be activated the change in Bid'Daum would be immediate, his pool of energy increasing in both volume and density, equating to roughly a 35% increase, as such men and women around the battlefield would feel an immense pressure crushing down on them, as if they had just been dragged into the depths of the ocean. Secondly the demon's physical state would improve slightly, as the first half of his release kicked in Bid'Daum could feel his strength increase. Despite the release of this abilities the demon still suffered from Magnolia's strikes.. but now perhaps the ground would be a bit more even.. If not.. he still had Pūrī Rihā'ī.

Sīla Rilīja:
Ādhā Rilīja:
Skill changes:

Both the summoning of his layer, and unleashing Ādhā Rilīja, had taken only a few moments. If Magnolia so chose she could interrupt both given the speed she had already displayed.. Otherwise both would come into being, effectively bringing the battle to a slightly more even playing field. Without waiting another moment Bid'Daum would burst forth with his now enhanced speed, upon closing the distance between he and his blonde foe the rakshasa's blade would become an edged blur as he utilized a technique stolen from a previous shinigami foe, Senmaioroshi. The multitude of would rain down upon Magnolia intent of cutting into, and threw, any flesh met by Bid'Daum's blade. As the strikes would cease the pale demon would immediately lash out with a right cross, relinquishing his blade to his left hand, as the momentum of punch briefly brought the demon's long locks across his lower face. This cross would be followed up by a one handed swing of Zar'roc aimed to cleave diagonally, bottom left to top right, across Magnolia's torso. Both follow ups would make full use of his enhanced strength & speed, intent on laying in as much damage as possible in those blows.

Following said blows, regardless of whether they hit or not, Bid'Daum would leap back but a couple meters, as much as the current room of the Hell Train would really allow. Intent on being out of the way of any immediate follow up his blonde foe could make. As he stood their, eyes still on the blonde, the labored wheezing breaths could still be heard coming from his breast, the demon himself ignoring the stabbing pains of each coppery breath. He would have to be patient, and calm in this battle.. But not foolish.. He only had so much time within the Hell Train, and he'd use every moment he could.. And so the demon would patiently await his foes next move, intent on catching it before taking similar damage to the last blow he was struck with.

The flurry of motions ended with the white-haired demon, and the golden hair shinigami separating from one another, dust arising as the sound of wheezing could be heard from bid'daums labored breaths. The expanse between them was not great; twenty meters lay between them. To supernatural beings, such a small distance could be crossed in seconds. Magnolia's golden eyes would narrow faintly as Bid'daum's energy began to seep out onto the field of battle.

Magnolia did not interrupt the male as he released: Instead, she spread her feet out her naginata pointing towards the ground as she held it leveled towards her opponent. Magnolia's mind would filter out the unneeded noises of battle, the world around her would begin to slow to a crawl. The woman's senses of perception would become heightened as she released a pent up breath. Electricity would glimmer in her eyes, a static charge arcing across the metallic surface of her blade.

To her, seconds became minutes, time slowed to a crawl. It was then that Bid'daum would attack, crossing the distance with a gust of air, a boom of sound and a flurry of attacks that magnolia would intercept. Magnolia's Naginata would spin rapidly in her hands, forming a shield in front of her that would intercept a vast majority of the flurry of blade attacks in a shower of sparks and a few explosions of kinetic energy. numerous small red lines would open up on the woman's combat gear, the shadow-fall attire having been sliced clean through by Bid'daums razor-sharp blade.

This only set up for the second attack in bid'daums rapid engage, His right fist would launch towards Magnolia, who would push off her front-facing foot to avoid the blow by mere centimeters, a gust of wind blasting past her from his tyrannical fist. This attack was followed up perfectly by upwards rising diagonal slash. This attack would be parried by the bottom of the naginata's shaft which moved forward and down to counteract the force which sought to cut her. The opposition of forces would cause a large explosion of sparks while magnolia borrowed the position of the pole, and used it as a fulcrum. Her foot would whip forward and to the side to try to catch Bid'daum in the solar plexus.

Some blood would spatter from the bridge of magnolia's nose from one of the many attacks Bid'daum had done in his blade-flurry prior to all of this, the projectile spray of blood staining the ground with a small bit of red as the woman went on the attack. First, Magnolia's Naginata would become a cruel arc of silver which launched forward in a flurry of jabs, each of them causing after-images as the woman took an explosive step forward.

With that step, Magnolia would rapidly close the distance once more, her Naginata moving for a rising slash which would release a brilliant blade-scar of supernatural energy which would rip across the field of battle.

"Show me what you got, Demon." Magnolia's voice crossed the meager expanse between them as the rumbling from their attacks faded.

From the dust that arose from their most recent exchange, Magnolia's lips could be barely seen, a faint smirk adorning her mouth. Even if she was here to win, to liberate the human populace and push back the tyrannical Shadow fall. At the end of the day, Magnolia was a warrior, Bid'daums prowess had got her blood pumping. The thrill of battle had enticed her.

"Because if you don't, I will grind you into the ground." Magnolia declared, partially in honesty, partially in pure trash-talking spirit. She was raring to go.

He could feel it as his blade clashed with the whirling shield that Magnolia's naginata had become.. The feeling of increased access to Za Koa, feeling this the demon took what was given and figuratively pulled more into him. As a result Bid'Daum, even as small explosions were created from the clash of his blade and his blonde foes, could feel the manifestation of the Hell Train growing stronger, his layers connection to this world solidifying further and further. If it kept up the Raksasha would soon be able to summon his Tower as well if he so wished. For now the further access would be focused primarily on his battle, enhancing what would need to be. Despite the vast majority of his blades strikes being blocked the demon felt little satisfaction upon spotting tears beginning to open upon the clothing of his foe. When the follow up cross came for her Magnolia responded similarly to his own response to one of her previous assaults, leaping back and allowing the strike to pass through the space she had been in.

When his next strike came his blonde foe blocked in a method he hadn't quite expected. Using the shaft of her weapon she had utilized it to perfectly counteract the force of his own blade, an explosion of sparks being created as a result. Before Bid'Daum could then fully clear space by leaping back yet again a kick lashed out, aimed for his solar plexus, and connecting.. Thankfully due to his positioning the kick was unable to connect with the full extent of its power, serving to push him back with a large amount of force instead of causing further damage to his chest and ribs. Sliding back upon landing, further than he intended to be when he lept the Rakshasa watched as her blade became its own arc of cruel steel as it flashed towards him in a flurry of jabs.

What he had not expected, upon these strikes being unleashed, was for an after image of his foe to be left behind as she took an explosive step forward. Because of this Bid'Daum was left on the defensive side of these strikes, unable to lash back as his blade came up in time to meet her own. Again. And again. And again. With each impact a boom of sound and kinetic energy would be unleashed, reverberating off the walls of the Hell Train before dissipating. As the distance between the two was closed yet again Bid'Daum's foe let loose a brilliant crescent of her own supernatural energy from her blade, its path taking it across the current room of the train in the blink of an eye.

Upon seeing the arc, and hearing Magnolia's challenge the Rakshasa of Gluttony would let loose a beastly roar, his silver-white energy erupting to life around him once again and clashing with the scar of energy Magnolia had let loose. As the two energies clashed the crown atop Bid'Daum's head, and the plate of what appeared to be armor, glowed a deathly black once again as the demon completed the release of his Tainted Skin. With an explosion of dust and energy the two forces erupted, canceling each other out as Bid'Daum stood, tainted skin now fully released as Pūrī Rihā'ī activated. With this Bid'Daum felt whole. He could feel the perfect control he now had over his demonic reserves, and the increased access to Za Koa energy. He could feel his body strengthening itself yet again. He was perfect once again. At least in body. In mind was a different thing. The gluttonous rakshasa could feel the bloodlust seeping into his mind, even as his thought process became clearer and faster.

Pūrī Rihā'ī:
Stats changes upon Pūrī Rihā'ī:

Now, for himself at least, the real fight had begun. Now the rakshasa could truly test his metal against his more powerful blonde foe. And thus Bid'Daum would allow the thrill of battle to take hold as the demon would first laugh then speak, "You speak as if such a result isn't fact." The demon would steady his blade before him, his demonic essence coursing wildly yet perfectly through himself and the blade. "But don't mistake me woman. Your strength does not mean my surrender." The white haired males words would end with a grin and a flip of his blade. With the pommel of Zar'roc facing Magnolia Bid'Daum would engage his foe, utilizing another technique he had learned from a shinigami he had felled. With a powerful, demonic energy enhanced, thrust of his weapon Bid'Daum would utilize that in combination with his own strength to created a deadly pillar of wind pressure and demonic energy that would blitz straight for Magnolia's chest. Against a foe of his own caliber such a strike would be easily capable of blowing a hole through their chest in Bid'Daum's current state, against Magnolia however.. He expected the blow to cause at least similar damage to what his own chest has received thus far, if it connected.

Following the Onibi strike Bid'Daum would vanish from his spot, moving even faster than he had previously, a testament to his increased capability upon the full release of his tainted skin. Clearing the space between he and his foe the demon would engage with his blade, lashing out in a furry of strikes. The first aimed to take her leg at the thigh, the next coming from left to right to cleave through her torso. Another, right to left diagonally, meant to cleave the woman from shoulder to hip. A change in direction, and another slash would be let loose, meant to cleanly cut through her waist severing torso from legs. After this strike another would tear through the air, faster than the previous ones, aimed to cleave directly from shoulder to shoulder. Then, utilizing the momentum from the final strike, Bid'Daum would drop into a low sweeping kick aimed to take the legs, which would be followed with another cruel Onibi strike meant for her skull if the leg sweep was successful.

As this furious combination died down the demon would leap into the air, the roof above him vanishing at his will as his jump carried him to its apex. At this point the six foot long blade of Zar'roc would cleave through the air, another cruel arc of energy coming to life and tearing forth as a result. Watching the arc travel Bid'Daum would allow himself to drop back to the ground, landing with blade ready in a guarded position, awaiting any response from Magnolia.

Fast. That was magnolia's initial impression of the dynamic change that had occurred in Bid'daum; His physical strength had elevated to a point that Magnolia could begin to take her opponent much more seriously. In the zone of battle, everything moved much more slowly in the eyes of the shinigami; each minute movement would fail to escape her scrutiny.

Deep within herself, the resolve that she had carried as her mantle flared. The resolve that had brought her to slaughter thousands of enemies, to walk valiantly over the mountains of corpses and look defiantly across the expanse. Her demeanor changed, the glow in her eyes was radiant and resplendent.

Bid'daums thrust broke the sound barrier, destroying the earth in front of it as she threw her spear up into the air, it's head-over-head spinning glint visible in the field of battle as the woman thrust a lone fist forth. Single bone was what Shinigami called this technique, and her muscles flared, cutting a chiseled light in the explosions and bombardments that echoed around them. The force of her fist which could go head-to-head with zanpakuto's, coupled with the force of vibrations that released from it, would offset the wind-force of the attack as the clothing covering her arm was completely blown off, exposing her well-defined arms, and shoulders, which would be covered in thin red cuts from their previous engage, and newly forming purple bruises from their current engage.

Magnolia's golden eyes blazed as the male closed the gap between them in an instant. The scything of his blade moving in a downwards diagonal arc with the intent to sever her leg from her body. Cloud rend would become pivotal here, it would cause a momentary lag in the speed of the attack, so negligent that it'd be dismissed as useless in most situations. However, in this instance, that momentary lag would be enough to allow Magnolia's foot to rise above, and stomp downwards, meeting with the surface of the blade, pushing out and to the side to disrupt Bid'daums attack and open up a window of attack.

Blood would flow from a moderate laceration on Magnolia's foot; In an explosive show of force, the blade was embedded into the earth beneath them. The force of this stomp would be enough to cause fragments to score the earth within 500 meters of them. Then, using the counter force, Magnolia's twin fists came forth to smash into Bid'daums body once more utilizing double-bone, like twin peels of thunder they would collide with the man with enough force that two explosions of kinetic energy would most likely burst from Bid'daums back, decimating a huge region behind the male for over a thousand meters.

Was she done though? No. Steam would burst forth from her mouth as an electrical storm flared upon her flesh, all of it would arc from muscle to muscle, gaining force and power until it traveled to the surface of her fist. The maniacal cackling of lightning would pervade the air, the stench of ozone prominent as the shinigami's fist blurred.

First, the sonic blast that echoed from the fist would rupture outwards like a mushroom cloud, it was as if heaven earth had been upturned. The seismic force of the punch would cause the earth beneath them to ripple in a wave, greatly disrupting the battles around them.

Then the second punch came, and then a third. The billowing onslaught of fists would transpire in less than a split second. The infamous punch used by the flash goddess Yourichi against Aizen four hundred years ago had once more had shown its prowess in the field of battle. Raioken it was called, the thunder kings fist.

As this fist flurry went on in that split second, the spiraling naginata in the air fell down like a rocket, pulled inwards by magnolia's capacity to attract objects. Timed with the end of the attack, Magnolia's weapon fell firmly in her hands, a deadly light flashed mercilessly in her eyes. Her foot had released from the blade as her Naginata vanished, moving across the male at extreme speeds. This was another technique, Hitosumi, Nadegiri. If Bid'daum hadn't fled her radius, the sanctified eastern blade would most likely draw and the ugly red scar across his chest.

"Your right. Nonetheless, I will take that strength of yours, and I will beat it mercilessly into the ground, pale demon." Magnolia's words were full of steel.

Her body vanished as she lept into the air, kicking off it as with a crack of lightning she would traverse the distance between them in mere moments. It was her trademark flash step, lightning flash step in use. Appearing in the midst of the air, her feet would become a flurry of movements as they stomped downwards. Through the utilization of Gatoringu Jindanda, coupled with her iron fist technique, and demon shattering blows, the ground beneath would be turned into swiss cheese.

Magnolia's Boisterous laughter would boom, as she said.

"IS THIS THE BEST YOU'VE GOT?!"

As the exchange between Bid'Daum and Magnolia continued the world around them continued to shift and alter with the Rakshasa's will. What had started with just the Hell Train had now expanded to bringing forth the demon's layer itself.. As a result combatants in the area, and on the train, would witness the materialization of an immense tower, the train passing through it and back out before threading its way through the rest of the structure. While the train did this combatants upon it would find themselves shifted from the train to the various floors of the pale rakshasa's layer, each of these floors host to their own space whether it be a simple room or the expanse of a countryside or the like. For example, the room that Bid'Daum and Magnolia would find themselves in at this point, if they were to look, was similar to that of a large canyon with woods from the likes of a fantasy novel at the furthest edges.

'Tsk' Would be the only response as Bid'Daum witnessed Magnolia's counter to his initial onibi. The result of the woman's counter would be the destruction of the ground before the two, the tearing & shredding of her garments along the arm and shoulder, and finally some bruising forming upon said arm. Quite the display of strength if he had to admit it.. What happened next though would be something the demon would recall down the line, trying to figure out just what happened.. As glinting steel closed in upon flesh the pale beast could feel something off for but the briefest moments before Magnolia's leg would clear his blade before stomping down with mighty force. The result would be both the brief satisfaction of seeing the blondes blood travel upon his blade from the laceration now inflicted due to how she chose to deal with the strike, and the fracturing and upheaval of the earth around the two. For roughly 500 meters the ground would crack, tilt, and even drop in some places, altering the terrain completely in that area.

Next, before Bid'Daum could fully react, Magnolia lashed out with a technique known as double-bone. Twin fists would collide with the pale form of the demon before a defense could be formed, the creaking and groaning of bones immediately audible to the man as he took the blow. In the few precious milliseconds after the impact Bid'Daum would feel several things happen to his body at once. Blood would quickly travel through his respiratory system resulting in his coughing up of a large glob from of the crimson life fluid. At the same time bruising of the upper & lower chest would be immediate. And finally, before the kinetic energy burst from his back, the cracking, groaning, shattering, and breaking of bones in the region would be audible to the pale demon. Then the kinetic energy was let loose & the region behind Bid'Daum was torn asunder, decimating roughly a kilometer of the space behind the demon and any whom may have been unlucky enough to be in said region.

Knowing that strike wouldn't be all Bid'Daum readied himself for what would come next. The sight of steam, and scent of ozone were all the demon needed to know it was coming.. the first punch. Releasing Zar'roc the gluttonous demon would lash out with his own fist, packing in as much speed and strength as he could in order to meet Magnolia's own. Then another fist would fly to meet the next, then another, and another.. Thunderous impact after impact would let loose from the impact of the two's fists, shock-waves rending from their position and wreaking havoc on the nearby area.. Until the rhythm of the beating fists changed and Magnolia's strike began slipping through, Bid'Daum no longer able to keep pace as he took more and more damage. Hit after hit, impact after impact, would rock the pale demon until the blows came to an end.. Bid'Daum's shaking form leaned over, blood freely flowing from his mouth to pool upon the ground at his feet.. The demon could feel his body protesting, bones shattered and ground to dust in some areas, muscles torn & hammered into unfamiliar states.. But he couldn't fully take stock of this.. He didn't have the time.

Forcing his body back into action the guardian of Hell would push off the ground, sliding back several feet as his blonde foes blade flashed into the space before him with deadly accuracy. 'Too slow..' Were the demons thoughts as a fresh crimson line came into existence down the center of the tip of his nose, lips, and torso. Crimson fluid would stain the white of Bid'Daum's clothes as the fresh would leaked his life fluids, an involuntary groan escaping his lips. Wheezing the rakshasa readied his aching, broken, body as laughter would begin emanating from his chest.. Despite the injuries the pale guardian of Hell could help but enjoy this battle... this duel he was having with his blonde foe. Listening to Magnolia's words he wouldn't respond, instead watching the woman as lept into the air. Immediately Bid'Daum was on the move, getting out from under her as the woman's feet became a blur. As he made to clear the immediate area Bid'Daum could feel the impacts of her blows before hearing them, the ground rumbling with each strike before giving way to them. As if taunting the demon as he evaded the blows with his broken body Magnolia's words would reach him..

"IS THIS THE BEST YOU'VE GOT?!"

No.. No it wasn't.. The demon thought to himself as a b-line was made towards Zar'roc, the handle of the blade meeting Bid'Daum's hand as he sped past just in-time for another impact to send tremors out from behind him. He definitely had more.. Not a lot.. But more.. And soon he would surely need to pull THAT out if he expected to survive at the rate things were going now. But not yet.. it wasn't time quite yet.. He had more to give as is.. Yet.. He felt he had something to prove to this damned woman..

As these thoughts crossed the mind of the white haired demon he began making use of another ability of his. At this point, especially now that his layer.. his Tower.. was in the living world, the Raksasha's energy permeated the area. Which was perfect for Pēṭū Yātanā unfortunately for any footsoldiers, or lower tiered beings that may be present with any area affected by Bid'Daum's demonic energies. The effects would be immediate as the first soldier fell to the abilities influence.. From that first poor soldier on many would experience the various effects of their own, and Bid'Daum's, gluttony.. Some may begin to starve until entering a hunger induced frenzy, feasting on those nearby.. Others may begin seeing themselves in a horrendous illusion, being eaten alive. And so on.

Pēṭū Yātanā:

Eyes still on Magnolia the pale demon's mind was reeling through option after option, assessing every possible avenue he could think of.. And everything was winding down to one point.. A point quickly approaching.. 'Just.. a bit more..' The demon would think to himself.. Intent on pushing his body even further despite his current state.. Despite his foe possessing a more extensive library of techniques.. Despite the hunger gnawing at the edges of his soul..

With his decision made the demon would rocket forth with another burst of speed, shattering the ground where he stood, before closing on Magnolia. Once again his blade would arc toward her, cleaving a trench into the ground along its course, before he'd suddenly release it just before impact causing Zar'roc to spin end over end into a rotation similar to a saw blade. In the same instant the demon would spin, leg lashing out, kicking the spinning blade in just the right spot to both hurl it at Magnolia and increase the rotation of the blade.

Flowing with the momentum of his body Bid'Daum would touch down with the foot that had lashed out, the opposite now leaving the ground before hurling through an arc following his momentum. The motion of this action would bring the left heel of Bid'Daum roaring towards Magnolia's midsection, even as his body groaned in protest from the movements, with enough force to hopefully shatter her bones.. Definitely with enough to completely up-heave the earth from the impact if it hit ground. Continuing still with the momentum a single cross would flash through the space between the two, the force of the momentum adding onto the demon's current strength, would be enough to cause significant damage if landed.

If the combination were to fail at any point the demon would cancel the planned follow-ups. Instead he'd favor clearing some distance, intent on not falling to yet another surprise like having his precious blade stomped into the ground.

Here she was once again, dancing precariously on the edge of a pin. There just was something about the lull of battle that drew her in and made her more than the sum of her parts. The smell of iron, and the roar of hot-blooded individuals who would lay down their lives for their morality and ambitions; Magnolia was a battle-maniac through and through, it was probably why she had allowed this fight to drag on for so long.

It was why she did not stop Bid'daum when he had tried to get stronger. However, there was one thing that was more important to her than her battle-mania: The safety of her comrades. Magnolia was the type of person who valued the hot-blooded men and woman who fought alongside her, so when the after-effects of Bid'daum's ability, gluttony began to harm those valiant individuals, it would cause a shift in Magnolia's entire demeanor.

Her shadowfall combat boots had long since been shredded by the combat they had endured, and now the last vestiges fell from her feet as she stomped onto the ground. Her stance had a tell-tale shift in it when compared to its previous combat applications, the tell-tale arcing of electricity expanded from her body to smash into the ground around her; then bid'daum would rush towards her.

He was fast and shot through the air with brute force and power; his body was a white streak which hurdled through the skies. His weapon turned into a chaotic whirling object of death as soon as Bid'daum threw it from his hands. As the blade approached rapidly, Bid'daum had kicked it, sending it right towards her position. For Magnolia, she would wait as it drew closer, and closer still; waiting until the last possible moment until she would bring her naginata whipping around in a semi-circular motion. This would smash into the side of the weapon, knocking it off-kilter as it would shoot past the woman, the wind which blew past from the saw-like motions of the blade knocking her hair into disarray.

The next of bid'daums attacks, however, would reach the woman. As Bid'daum's fist rocketed forward, moving ever-closer to her torso, Magnolia's feet would move backward. Using this motion to mitigate some of the force behind the blow, a concept of using soft to conquer hard as some would put it, the blow would do far less damage than initially intended. Instead of broken bones and a shattered ribcage, Magnolia's shirt would have been ripped completely off by the shockwave.

A purple bruise had adorned Magnolia's sternal region, a fact that was hidden by the white band that bound her breasts in place. The woman could easily tell that two of her ribs on her right side had fractures within them from bid'daum's blow. A faint trace of blood would drip down the corner of her lip as the woman, utilizing the borrowed force of bid'daums titanic attack, had flown backward gracefully for roughly ten meters, before landing on the tips of her toes in a fighting stance.

The dull pain in her chest was easy to ignore, however, it did nothing to alleviate the racing thoughts inside her head. Her army had been injured by Bid'daum; It was inarguably her fault that they had been injured.

It was clear that the entire mood set of the fight had changed. Magnolia's golden eyes glimmered dangerously as she stared across the war-torn expanse between them. After all, how could she face the families of those who had died if she continued to fight for the sake of fighting, rather than with the intent of winning as soon as humanly possible?

"Bid'daum, I know nothing about you. But as a warrior I respect you. " Magnolia's voice was valiant, as well as hushed and deadly; It easily conveyed the change in her intent.

"It is for this reason that I will give you this option." With those words, from her skin a crystalline sapphire blue would arise. Magnolia had briefly utilized her spiritual energy once before in this fight, however, there wouldn', be a comparison to the amount that arose from her at this point in time.

" Either leave or fight me with everything on the line. I cannot face my comrades if I allow any more of them to die. "

With those words, the impending dam had been released. A radiant, chaotic storm of spiritual energy would surge into the world of the living. A blinding flash of azure which would flare defiantly, a beacon of solidarity for the warriors that fought at magnolia's side; as well as an object of despair for those who opposed her.

Soon, the rampaging storm which would whip through the entirety of their battle-field like the winds of divine retribution would dissipate, leaving in its place a sapphiric glow on the surface of her skin. Crackles of thunder would arc from arm to arm, while a subtle glow of energy formed on the surface of her legs.

She looked like a rampaging war-goddess, descending upon the world of the living. Her hair wreathed in lightning bolts, her body aglow with power.

Over the field of battle, her voice boomed.

"My comrades, renew your valiant strength! Today we will liberate this small chunk of land. Let those that might oppress us know we shall NOT yield. " After those words left her mouth, she would stare towards bid'daum, ready to see which path he would embark upon.

As he sailed through the air towards his foe, blade sent hurling along its course, Bid'Daum could feel the shift in the demeanor of his foe. The threat to her comrades had flipped a switch within the woman, forcing out a more serious edge to her that hadn't been present moments before. Thus it was to no surprise to Bid'Daum when Magnolia brought her blade to bear against his own at a precise moment, catching it in just the right way to send it hurling past her.

The follow up however would proceed almost as hoped. While the initial overhead heel would be a miss the single punch that came next would connect. As the single fist met with Magnolia's flesh Bid'Daum could feel how she flowed backwards just in time with his punch as to mitigate its force. Therefore, while not as damaging as it could have been, the rakshasa still landed a decent blow upon the woman, evident by how far she had allowed herself to be flung backwards & the growing bruise on her now revealed rib-cage.

While the two gazed across the gap created the gluttonous demon could feel the hunger gnawing away at him, at his soul. Demanding he act upon the sin which he bears. He could feel the effects of his Pēṭū Yātanā upon the soldiers of Magnolia, the change such an attack on her men had caused in her, and more so the change it had caused in himself. He was growing so very hungry.. It was because of this growing hunger, and its effect on his psyche, that Bid'Daum almost missed the words spoken by his foe. It appeared that he had gained her respect, but she could no longer allow him to have the effects upon her men that he did. By her option to fight with all he had on the line the rakshasa could only assume one thing, she was going to treat things much more seriously from this moment on.

In the moments his thoughts processed this Bid'Daum could feel the change in Magnolia's spiritual energy, as if a dam had been released a rampaging storm awoke and descended upon the battlefield. A testament of the woman's power. The demon traced the crackling glow of elemental power surge along her arms, watched as the raw power wrapped around her akin to another skin. In response Bid'Daum could feel his increased heart-rate, the adrenaline surging through his body at the prospect of facing such a powerful foe, the endless hunger growing oh so terrifyingly fast. A feral grin would grace the visage of the rakshasa of Gluttony, his pink tongue sliding along his lower lip as he accepted what must come next.

"Then fight... and CONSUME I SHALL!"

Following his statement Bid'Daum's own demeanor would begin to shift. If Magnolia was true to her word, challenging the rakshasa to bring forth all he had, then she would be witness to something only two others outside of Hell had seen. She was now going to witness Bid'Daum at the pinnacle of his power, she would witness Sabhee ka Bhakshak. This particular rakshasa's Tukaṛā Saitāna.

Energy that had previously been colored a mixtures of whites, greys, and silvers, was now a mixture of reds, black, burgundy, and silvers and enveloped the demons form. Within the silhouette of the rakshasa could be seen growing taller, shifting and stretching in grotesque ways in some spots, and snapping rigidly in others. By the end of his transformation Bid'Daum would now stand at a massive twelve feet tall, no longer resembling his previous effeminate form in anyway.

Three glowing green eyes centered in his head would stare Magnolia down, the ferocity of his glare caring all that need or could be said by the ascended demon. The exoskeletal armor that now adorned his form creaked with each subtle movement and breath made. If ones eyes continued to roam the hulking form the rakshasa had now taken one thing would quickly become obvious. He was a weapon meant to kill, to tear his foes apart limb from limb, to feast to his gluttonous content. Powerful clawed gauntlets creaked as his grasp tightened around the massive slab of a blade he now wielded. Over his new form an equal massive cloak was draped, giving off a slightly regal look to the massive rakshasa, and beneath this cloak were his wings, neatly folded furthering the cloaked look.

Operation War Dogs: Dogs of War [WW4 Start Event] - Page 2 260px-Grimoire_card_Oryx_rebuked

[Note: See app for the entirety of the description of Sabhee ka Bhakshak's appearance.]

Finally, upon the change to this form, an immense difference could be felt in the demonic energy given off by the ascended rakshasa. From the release of this form alone the energy output was enough to gouge out an immense one hundred yard wide crater that had been sunk twenty feet into the ground. With Bid'Daum serving as the epicenter shock-waves and tremors would begin radiating through the ground as the winds already created by Magnolia would be amplified further becoming a ferocious storm threatening to swallow the environment whole. Unfortunately for soldiers on all sides the environmental effect wouldn't be all that accompanied Bid'Daum's transformation.. the volume and density of his energy was now to such an extent that all soldiers were succumbing to its effects, dropping to the ground unconscious and frothing from the mouth. Those within the higher ranges, nearing Bid'Daum's own range of power, would still be drastically effected by this change, finding it hard to even move normally within the rakshasa's presence.

Demonic Essence:

The first instinct of the now fully unleashed demon was to consume anything and everything before him. He could feel the choices laid out before him. The souls he could consume. The energy he could breathe in. It would take but a single powerful inhale and he could begin gorging himself upon this battlefield. But that single glaring beacon of power still stood before him. The one thing the ascended beast knew would prevent him from doing what his soul, what his unleashing this form, demanded from him. FEAST.

From here on out, just as Magnolia had asked of him, it was only about the fight. And the feast that would follow should he be victorious. And so with a great bellow of primal demonic fury the hulking form of Bid'Daum surged forth with staggering agility for his size, the slab that was his blade cutting through earth as if butter as it tore towards Magnolia's form. As the blade would surge from the ground into an arc the demon would briefly release the handle as it came to the apex, before grasping it again in an altered grip and bring the blade across the woman's form from shoulder to hip. Following this a swing of his cloak, and wings hidden beneath, would be meant to throw the blonde away from his form as he accessed one of the abilities granted by this form.

The steady, slow, draw of Bid'Daum's breath would be nearly impossible to notice at first. It would only appear as if he were breathing as normal after all. But soon, if her eyes were sharp enough, Magnolia would notice the true effect the rakshasa's inhales were having upon the battlefield. By tapping into Ātmā'ōṁ kī Sēnā, or Legion of Souls, the demon was beginning to slowly devour the souls that his breath was drawing in. The intended use for these souls? Only time would tell. But as the demon continued to draw his breaths a guttural growl could be heard emanating from his form.. Not from his mouth as if spoken, but from the entirety of his being.. As if the sound of the hunger that agonized him was slowly becoming known to the world around him.

What would Magnolia do from here? Would she regret giving Bid'Daum the option to go all out? Or would his actions upon doing so bring out something further, perhaps a rage?

Ātmā'ōṁ kī Sēnā ( Legion of Souls):

More monster than man, the rakshasha of gluttonies abominable form finally arose. The roar of hellish power crushed the realm around them, it caused the earth to sink, and the skies to monetarily be bathed in its accursed hue. The air displaced caused Magnolia's short golden hair to whip around in wild abandon, and then finally as the dust settled the shinigami finally laid her golden eyes upon the monster she was facing.

A monster consumed by the very sin they embodied, that was what the valiant warrior known as bid'daum had become. In his place was the hulking behemoth, and the truest essence of the Rakshasha of Gluttony. Gazing upon the monster she had coaxed from the abyss, the softest of sighs escaped the shinigami's lips, and soon the softest of smiles would arise upon those plump lips.

"I am relieved." The soft-spoken words spilled out from the shinigami's lips as the behemoth barreled towards her. Her stance would widen as her eastern Naginata was held perfectly horizontal, the bladed end facing the monster in the negligible seconds that would precede the inevitable clash.

"Magpie, You must harden your heart. Steel your mind to the task at hand" Raijin's tenor timbre rumbled within Magnolia's inner world, the stoic man's eyes gleaming with resolve as he watched the hellish scene of battle unfolding before his "Queens" eyes.

Even though bid'daum was moving at break-neck speeds, Magnolia's superb focus allowed her to take in the subtle details of his movement clearly: The way his rugged blade hewn its way through the earth like it was nothing, even the split second that bid'daum let go of the blade was captured within her gaze, the hunks of earth and rock that flew up from the behemoths blade exiting the ground moving about in her perception at a snails pace.

Magnolia's foot would have made a semi-circular motion as the shaft of her naginata redirected the blade in that split-second, sparks blossoming across the metallic-like holy wood as the ground beneath Magnolia concaved into a crater several feet deep, spiderwebbing fractures radiating outwards around it. At that moment, her weapon would utilize the downward momentum into a wind-milling like motion. After redirecting the foe's weapon into the ground with a dull boom, the bladed end had gouged a deep chasm in the earth as an azure glow covered the weapon.

Bid'daums cape would have whipped around at this point, right around the time that Magnolia's naginata exited the ground, the bladed end slicing towards bid'daum at extreme speeds; As the blade exited the ground, the azure glow would expand rapidly until it turned into a resplendent light, blinding to all within a mile radius. The massive explosion of reishi would gouge a chasm in the earth several hundred feet deep and would most likely engulf bid'daums form.

The powerful spiritual attack would be powerful enough that if left unimpeded it would launch well over two miles into the landscape, unimpeded before it dissipated. In its path, any objects it ran into would be blown apart.

"How. . . disappointing, you've become consumed by your very nature, I can no longer consider you the valiant warrior that I was impressed by." Magnolia's voice was deadpan, honest and firm; it carried even without any power behind it.

Her arm swiped to the side, the silver glint of her weapons blade-edge harsh as the disruption of magnolia's energy already had begun affecting the field of battle; A distant rumbling of thunder boomed in the distance, storm clouds started to converge upon the war-torn landscape around them.

"Well, here I come." Magnolia's voice was soft and weary, ladened with killing intent. Her voice was partially drowned out by the boom that resounded from the exertion of force generated by magnolia's legs.

The earth would shatter, boulder-sized hunks of rock erupting due to the force of Magnolia's movement. Wherever Bid'daum was, Magnolia would appear there almost simultaneously with the previous noise, the sound of her feet shattering the earth as her blade fell in one powerful stroke would be absent, the sound barrier having at this point been broken by her movement-speed.

This one blow carried behind it a terrifying amount of power, as if a testament to that, a burst of steam billowed from magnolia's lips as her core tightened; the bifurcation of air left in it's wake a vacuum, drawing towards them the boulder-sized rocks, dust, and rubble. All of it made a dusty maelstrom that obscured the two combatants from the world around them. If magnolia's downwards slash, which held with it the intent to cut bid'daum in two from crown to groin hit him? It carried enough force that it could easily create a blade-scar in the earth a mile deep, and several hundred meters wide; combining that with the fact that this weapon was a demon-slaying blade, as well as magnolia's own strength, it would be unsurprising if such an attack left grievous wounds if it hit its mark.

A testament to magnolia's skill, if the attack was dodged, deflected, or hit, the weapon would reverse its motion, the hard flat end of the shaft smashing into bid'daums solar-plexus with the intent to send him flying like a rag-doll, the kinetic force behind the blow would cause the debris that was flying forward to blast backward like buck-shot into the war surrounding them.

Magnolia would close the distance between them once more; initially, the woman's weapon would rip upwards for a rising slash, that would quickly shift into a horizontal lunge as the ground shattered beneath her feet. Her elbow would bend if the attack was blocked, mitigating the force and rapidly rotating, shifting the hand that was holding the naginata as she stepped in near-instantly. The borrowed force would allow her to drive her elbow squarely into Bid' Daum's side as the vibrational force from demon-shattering blows could potentially cause substantial internal damage from this one attack. The attack following that would involve magnolia's body whipping back around and disengaging with the man as the spinning force allowed her to bring her blade scything around, intent on slashing the male's chest open as she then would land several meters away from Bid'daums form.

"I am relieved."

Those three words were simple yet they resounded deeply within Bid'Daum even as his behemoth form sped towards his blonde foe. As his own blade split the earth the demon eyed the foe before him, noting the change in both her demeanor and stance. Despite this, as his mind adjusted to the infrequently utilized power coursing through him, Bid'Daum would make mistakes that he'd soon regret. The first being the failure of noticing just how focused the woman had become. And the second, releasing his blade, even if to alter his grip upon the weapon.

The exact moment he had moved to adjust his grip the blonde before him made her move, her weapon already on a perfect path to meet his own before redirecting the deadly slab. Sparks would shower from the two weapons as the ground beneath his foe began to cave & spiderweb. And then in a flash his demonic blade was redirected into the ground, a dull boom sounding out across the battle. The action also leaving a deep chasm scaring the earth. Undeterred Bid'Daum's cape & wings would come whipping around towards his foe, within the same moment Magnolia's blade left the earth beneath them whilst slicing in the demons direction. Unfortunately for the hulking demon his momentum would prevent any kind of defense from the coming blow, and thus when the azure glow of the blade continued to brighten the demon had no choice but to take the blade and energy surrounding it.

As his from was engulfed in the explosion created by Magnolia's blow Bid'Daum's form was sent hurtling backwards despite the size of his hulking form. The Rakshasa would be caught in the entirety of the blast as it scarred the land. When said explosion of energy began to die down the shadowed form of Bid'Daum could be seen moving within the massive scar that was the result of Magnolia's strike. Steam rolled off his body as shattered pieces of his exoskeletal armor fell to the ground, other sections having been outright destroyed by the sheer ferocity of the blow. Where the demon lacked his armor his form was covered in burn marks, his cloak obliterated in the blast, wings extensively damaged.. Such damage from a single blast.. All the demon could think to himself was that he should have expected as such.

Thus when he heard his foe speak yet again, voiced laced with killing intent, the demon knew she now judged him off his initial mindset when entering this form. A mistake upon his part, and one he'd unlikely be able to rectify. And it wasn't like she was entirely wrong. Even now despite his mind having cleared he could feel the core of his being demand he give himself entirely to his instincts. But now was not the time to dwell. Not when he was in a fight for his life.

It would be the clearing of his mind that would save Bid'Daum in the next instant. Before the sound of her actions could reach him the demon witnessed his foe appear before his form, her blade a flash of steel in the air as his instincts roared danger to him. In this moment the demon heard not the thunder booming above him, the flashes of the lightning of the sky, nor the men fighting it out on the battlefield. He saw but his life flash before his eyes as his body reacted to his foe, but it wouldn't be enough. As the sound of her movements caught up to the pair the flash of Magnolia's blade had already fallen upon him. The blade struck him like a knife through butter.. the irony.. his demonic lifeblood spraying onto the battlefield as a gruesome blow befell the rakshasa while the force behind it sent him careening through the air. Pain unlike any he had felt before wracked the demon's form as he hit the ground beside yet another scar gouged into the earth by his foe, beneath his form the earth would cave as his demon blood pooled around him.

Yet the demon would force his battered form to stand. The deep scar across his body screaming at every moment, blood constantly pouring from the wound. The hulking form of the demon would rumble as a laugh of acceptance resounded through his core. He had picked the wrong fight this time. And it seemed.. No.. He was paying for it. Who knew if he'd make it back to his layer alive. Back to Gwen, his only companion. The demon had no time to contemplate such thoughts any further though. This time the demon felt her move as she appeared, blade rising towards his battered form before shifting into a horizontal strike.

It would only be due to luck that the demon would make a pitiful leap back just out of range of the horizontal lunge.. Or maybe it wasn't luck as Bid'Daum would find out a split second later. A brutal elbow dug into his side as Magnolia closed the gap in an instant. The moment the blow met him he could feel it striking out at his internals as vibrations rocked his core. Before he could even bend over from the incredible pain caused by the blow, before even more of his demonic lifeblood could flow from his lips, the demon was met with a followup falling upon his form. In the instant the blonde that had injured him to such an extent moved away another blow would befall him. Another shower of blood and Bid'Daum's released form was now sporting yet another gash across his form, this one across his chest.

Never before had he been struck with such speeds. Nor with such strength and intent behind them. Never before had the demon found himself on the edges of life and death. It enraged Bid'Daum like nothing before. His weakness. His foolishness. And most of all his arrogance. In the end he allowed his pride as the Rakshasa of Gluttony to get to him, and it had cost him. And now as Magnolia stood several meters from his bleeding form Bid'Daum could only begin to draw on the fallen souls of the battlefield utilizing Ātmā'ōṁ kī Sēnā with each labored and pained breath he took. With each fallen soul consumed as he drew breath the demon focused on utilizing them to heal what he could, as little as it would be. With the first consumed soul he immediately knew it would take something more powerful than the foot-soldiers on this battlefield to heal his current wounds.

Eyeing his foe wearily Bid'Daum considered his options. The pain he was going through giving him the odd clarity to think them through. And they weren't many in number. He knew he could try to fight on, but he'd have to retrieve his blade, and would have to accept he'd likely die here. Such an option was one the demon wasn't too keen on taking, having heard tales of the agony of rakshasa rebirth and its other consequences. He could dismiss what was present of his layer, but his returning with it wasn't a sure thing, and if it failed he'd suffer immense consequences once it's presence left the battlefield. And finally, he could accept his fate and surrender.

Alas even in his purest form as he was, Bid'Daum knew he couldn't fool himself. It was senseless thinking he could carry out a further battle with his blonde adversary, let alone escape. With a heavy sigh the gluttonous rakshasa made a decision that was just as heavy a blow to his pride as those his body had taken. In an instant the demonic pressure Bid'Daum radiated would lessen, though his hulking form remained. A clawed hand came up to the large gashes upon his body, a pained growl escaping his form. Hulking shoulders would sag as his three demonic eyes met Magnolia's two.

The ascended demon knew his next actions were foolish, but he would not let go of his demonic pride. As such, despite the pain radiating through his form, the blood flowing from his wounds, the demon would slowly stagger forth. He would not retreat. But he would not continue the battle like a fool. Instead the behemoth had made a decision. His life, although realistically it already was, was now in his foes hands. And so he'd come to a halt but a few meters from the blonde, three glowing eyes staring her down. Awaiting an answer to his unspoken question, "The battle is your win, what have you now?".
