The demon focused, particularly, on tearing William apart limb by limb and sucking his life dry until he’s nothing more but a carcass comparable to a raisin cared little for the orbs all about since the Quincy’s energy was laughable at best compared to its own. However, it is that cockiness that gave William the opportunity to set up such a scheme. And, once the demon finally actually understood the Quincy’s full motive, it tried its best to undo its prior actions and retreat back into the skies away from the orbs that it thought were only trying to intercept its flight pattern. Yet, it was too late. Once William fired, the demon thought of deflecting it, but the shot's trajectory was not aimed for it. One of the orbs right in front of the demon is struck causing it to explode and blind the demon. The heat, however, didn’t seem to bother it at first as it moved to shield itself with its wings, but then, when that one explosion caused the other orbs to explode in a chain reaction, the demon truly felt the impact of William’s scheme.
The demon felt itself bake within the combined flaming fury of William’s orbs; its wings melting to the bone before becoming useless and sending the creature free falling to the ground. With a pained hiss, the demon moved to rise however, despite the fact that the unarmored parts of its body oozed like melted glass mixed with its boiling blood and heated organs. It hissed as its lower jaw hung loosely from its face. William, unfortunately, will notice the demon’s body begin to rejuvenate, all, except its wings which bones laid useless on the ground around the demon. Anyone in the area could sense the sudden blood curling aura around the demon as its hatred for the beings that exist on Earth displayed itself through its raging energy that began to swirl around it like black coiling wisps. Its burnt eyes focused on William with nothing but putrid contempt before it began walking towards him slowly. The wisps around its body congregated to the space before its mouth as it formed into a mass of energy in the shape of a ball that was soon fired directly as William which was followed by another and another. Despite being unable to move as it could, it was still capable of much.

Inwardly William momentarily celebrated his minor victory even if the battle was not won. Knowing his only chance from here on out was for his ally to return to the field of battle he mentally prepared for whatever would come next. Unfortunately "whatever would come next" would come much sooner than he could have hoped for. He watched in silent horror as before any indication of incoming help showed up the monster rose to it's feet and regenerated from what damage William had been able to inflict. Despite his Ace in the hole being far more damaging than expected all it really succeeded in doing was restricting his foe from flying which for someone who could barely run at this point such a thing would mean little.
Staring death in the face as the monster began its next series of attacks William for the first time lost hope. He had not been looking for this fight and was merely a victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time just like any of those people still on the train. It would appear this would be the final stop. Lifting his now-heavy Spirit Weapon William took aim and attempted to fire what little he could still muster but as he tried the crown atop his head faltered and his Vollständig powered down leaving him with no avenue for attack. "Damn."
Right as the first sphere of energy was fired William sluggishly dove to the side, a tried and true tactic. Unfortunately for him with so little stamina left it could only be used once and so the moment he landed and turned to look at what else his enemy was doing it was too little too late. William reflexively lifted his left arm as he was lifted from his feet and sent skidding across the ground. Pain blinded and deafened him, not for the first time today, and shattered the world around him. Ice gripped his entire self as the cold of death moved on him like a predator pouncing upon it's prey. Blinking open his eyes momentarily sought out the now-numb left arm he'd used to protect himself and was met with a bloody stump of a shoulder. Upon realizing it was over William's azure orbs sought out the peaceful sky far above, clear of any indication of what had occurred here. "It's...a nice..day..." the last words his exhausted being could mutter before drifting off to nothing.

The demon, upon seeing William take its attack and lose an arm, decided that the poor fool is nothing more but an awaiting meal to dine on. Yet, it didn’t particularly desire to simply eat the man. Feeling the life force of William deplete quickly, the demon decided that torturing the idiotic Quincy would prove more fun, and thus, prepares another collection of energy before its mouth to form a ball that’d surely amputate William further. The demon wants to play with its food.
But, as the demon prepares to launch yet another attack, the sudden spike of energy nearby caused the demon’s head to snap to the side right before a hand collided with the energy collecting in front of its broken face, palming the energy right into its agape mouth. The explosion that occurred kicked up dust seconds before the demon flew from the billow and ended up crashing into the rubble on the tracks. Slowly, the dust cleared revealing the redhead, Elyss, standing there with her hand smoking. The sleeves to her shirt were beyond repair, but her hand and arm seemed only scratched by the explosion of energy. Her reddening eyes hold no remorse, only a slowly building fury; her Reiatsu swirling around her furiously like mad dogs circling their prey.
The demon rose from the rubble, angered by the reappearance of the redhead. It desired to fly and take off to avoid fighting the woman in its injured state, but a quick reminder that its wings are no longer usable caused the beat to roar in anger as it began to gather energy once more focusing all it could into one single point in front of itself. Though, before it could fire, Elyss dashed disappearing from sight for a single moment before appearing right before the demon raising her left hand, and simply, slaps the built energy upwards to the sky before bringing her right hand back, forming a fist as her feet step down onto the ground empowering her stance. ”Damn you. I hope you rot in Hell.”The demon sees the mask of true rage on her face for only a moment before a fist collides into its chest. Elyss pours all of her physical power into her fist as she slams the demon down into the rocks causing a massive explosion obliterating the rubble and the demon into nothing but a bloody dirty mess on the ground. Somehow, she managed to avoid harming the train tracks and anything of value except herself which suffered from scratches and wounds due to her own exertion and careless handling of the demon’s attacks. It mattered not to her however as her eyes moved to William.
She made her way over to him seeing his missing arm and kneels down lifting him. “I’m sorry.” Is all she says to him as she carries him back to the train where she focuses her attention on getting his wounds treated and praying for his life. She has saved the train, but she has failed the only one that was capable of helping. It is a sour victory, but at least, everyone gets another chance at life, all but one… If only she was more aware, better, faster...
