Hono Kaen

Lovely, guard duty. It was enforcing the realm, but it was so borningggg. Though could she couldn't quit, it was important! The Shinigami wore her uniform, with her zanpakuto secure tightly on her hip. Walking around the Soul Society almost aimlessly. Hono was still new to this whole thing, so it was a learning process for her. She had spent the past few days training up, so it was nice to have an easy day.

Ugh! Why was the Soul Society so big! She felt like she was going nowhere. At least she was familiarizing herself with the place. As she wandered around, she had arrived at the First Divison's building.

She saw a redhead, that didn't quite look like she belonged! She was only wearing a T-shirt and jeans. Definitely not a member of the Gotei! Hono held her Zanpaktuo.

"Hey! Who the hell are you?!" She called out, wondering who she was. She couldn't be apart of the Gotei? Could she? Hono shook her head and waited for an answer.

So, that’s that, huh? A quick discussion with the Captain Commander, and now she is suddenly a member of the Gotei once more. Well, to be honest, she’s not entirely sure just yet if this is what she truly wants. However, she does want to grow stronger, not just physically, but spiritually too. That means she’ll have to face Tenmarin once more, and to do that, she’ll have to regain some semblance of trust with the Gotei. They do have her Zanpakuto, and they probably won’t just give it to her so easily considering the incident that occured because of Tenmarin. Ah, but this situation has simply created a chance for her to return to a group that she had once thought of as family: the Seventh Division. Her mind is curious as to how things are. She had left abruptly and no one would have any idea of what she'd been up to unless Murasaki told them. Would she have even been missed? Mmm, thoughts that can only be answered by actually going to that collage of tents that the division calls their base of operations.

Tch… She should really change her clothes as well. A lot of people are giving her odd looks because of her outfit. She looks like a complete outsider, but there’s not much she can do about that just yet. It’s time to get a move on. She takes one step, and suddenly she’s being called out. Is that directed at her? With a quick glance around, her onyx gaze meets the gaze of a woman staring right at her. Now, who is this?

“Who? Me? I don’t know. Who are you?”

Elyss answered the question thrown her way with another question. Is this gal trying to be intimidating or something? She’s a bit on the scrawny side for that, isn’t she? The redhead’s unsure what to make of this situation, but for now, it’s something she has to handle, despite how completely random this is.

Who exactly was she? She had long red hair and deep black eyes. Her stare didn't give her the best impression, she was a bit nervous, honestly, she probably wasn't strong enough to take down an intruder. Though she couldn't be intimidated! She didn't flinch, just looking at the stranger as well. Did she just answer back with a question? Hono shook her head. Drawing her Zanpakuto, holding the purple hilt tightly. Pointing it at her.

"None of your damn business! I asked who you are?! I'm supposed to take our any intruders I see!!!" she shouted, holding her sword tightly. Did that sound threaten enough? Probably not... but Hono would try!

"So tell me who the hell you are!" She might have looked scrawny, but her swords stance was quite good, she definitely knew how to sword fight.

Her head couldn’t help but tilt itself. Is this chick serious? There isn’t any amusement on Elyss’ face. Her expression is serious, some might even interpret it as deadly. Onyx eyes shone in the sunlight before her red hair shifted with the wind and shrouded her gaze for just a moment. If looking in a mirror, she might actually comment on her sudden diabolic appearance. Though, there is some curiosity left underneath her annoyance. Maybe in the past however. Just maybe, Elyss would have goaded this individual further into attacking, if only to see if there’s any bite behind their bark. But, Elyss shouldn’t be stirring up trouble, not at this particular moment at least.

“Listen, I’m just heading towards the Seventh Division. You’re being silly. The Gotei has enough security. As if someone could just waltz through here dressed like this without permission.”

That makes sense, yeah? Hono is the only one moving so aggressively against the redhead. Everyone else seems more occupied with other matters. A quick glance around is enough to know that. “So, how about putting that sword away before someone loses an eye and go about the rest of your day. I have things to attend to.”

Elyss starts walking forward since Hono is in the direction the redhead has to go. There doesn’t seem to be any hostility generated from the woman, so Hono should just leave things as they are. Yeah? In a perfect world.

Hono watched the girl's face morph into something diabolic, it caused a slight shiver, but Hono didn't falter, she planted her feet down. She wouldn't let Elyssa scare her yet! Hono would wave her sword at Elyss. Twirling it around a little.

"If you're supposed to be here, you could easily tell me your name and your business!" She barked a bit, "I'm just following orders, I'm supposed to take care of anyone shady... and you're pretty damn shady!" Hono said stepping a bit close. "I'm gonna ask again! Who the hell are you?!" All Elyss had to do was tell Hono what her name and business was, but that probably wouldn't happen.

Hono was as stubborn as an ox. No way in hell she's was gonna break so easily. "You'll be the one to lose an eye! What things! Is it really that hard to tell me? Damn it!" As she walked towards Hono, the red-head was starting to get angry. She took her Zanpakuto and thrusts forward, aiming for Elyss' leg. She was attacking her?! Yep! A terrible idea, but her hot head got the better of her.

She was thrusting with a Zanpakuto? It was definitely an unorthodox way of attacking, it gave her the element of surprise. Hono wasn't sure how strong Elyss, but she'd probably learn her place soon.

Hmm? Man, talk about short-tempered. Though, it’d be hypocritical for Elyss to not notice a bit of herself in this spunky woman that almost shares her hair color. That’s what maturing means however, and it’s fascinating to see her past self because of someone else. Elyss knows how these things usually end up. The world was unforgiving to her when she acted out in such ways, and it’ll be just as unforgiving to Hono. Not now though.

It was just a simple sidestep. Hono’s movements are slow compared to the bunch that Elyss has dealt with in the past. This woman’s nowhere near as fast as Murasaki or V. Is she thrusting? Most Zanpakuto have only one honed side with the tip slanted. Thrusting the sword into someone isn’t impossible, but it really dismisses the full potential of a katana. It also leaves one open; especially if the someone is attacking due to aggravation with little thought put into it. Elyss, not wanting to injure this woman, simply sticks her foot out after stepping to the side just to trip Hono over. That’s it. Then, there is nothing left to the situation, whether Hono fell over or not. Elyss is already walking off again.

Elyssa reacted fast! Stepping into the side, before Hono even responds. She was tripped, falling right onto her stomach. Dropping her Zanpakuto, she laid there for just a few seconds. After getting herself up, she grabbed her Zanpakuto. Clearly fighting wouldn't work. She put her sword back onto her hip. Elyssa was already quite head. After finding her, she ran after her. She was walking, so Hono was able to catch up behind her. "Fuck... You're fast."

"Who the hell are you!?" She said sighing, keeping pace with her. "Fuck, you're a shinigami aren't you! Are you apart of the Gotei?" She raised her eyebrow. While looking up at Elyss. "Why is it so hard to tell me your name! You might be faster, but just I won't give up!" She said confidently, even though she had sheathed her sword, she was still determined to figure out who this stranger was.

Huh? Someone is being really persistent for no reason. With a roll of her eyes, she kept on walking despite the annoyance beside her. Though, this insistence to learn something as trivial as some stranger’s name is somewhat comradable. Will they even meet again? Will learning anything even matter? Elyss would rather keep herself on a need to know basis these days. The more her name gets out there, the more bothersome the world may become. One day she’ll end up with a group of troublemakers at her door, and it’ll be because she told the wrong person her name. What reason does this new person continue to bother her for? Pride? Spite? Just a brat?

Eh, Elyss knows a thing or two about being a brat. “Why do you care? Don’t you have a job to go do?” Came her voice in a bored manner. There’s nothing to gain or lose from this. She just wanted a quiet walk to get her thoughts together for what she’s going to say to everyone.

Hono walked forward still trailing Elyssa. No way in hell she was gonna go without her name now! Her pride wouldn't let Elyssa win this one! The stranger acted like she was better then Hono! That wasn't gonna fly! While Elyssa probably was, Hono refused to believe it! Balling up her fist and waving it a bit. She definitely was a brat, no doubt about that.

"I do care! I am doing my job!" She shouted, not letting Elyss out of her sight, following closely behind. "Gimmie your name damn it!" She shouted once again. "This is apart of my job! You could easily avert this~ All you gotta do it tell me and I'll leave you alone!" Hono pointed at Elyssa waving her finger.

Hah. Doing her job? If her job is to bother someone who’s not doing anything, then she’s doing it perfectly. However, Elyss is already tired of this. So, she’ll just do what she has to do to go about the rest of her troubling day peacefully. With a sigh, she stops in her tracks and folds her arms over her chest, one of her hands bending to press against her tilted head. Her eyes have an aggravated glow to them as she studied Hono.

“Fine. The name’s Elyss. Happy? Great? Leave me be. I have to go speak with Captain Murasaki.”

Eyes focus on Hono further. They are searching for some form of intellect. Maybe now the redhead can be left alone to continue on her way.
