Seaside Fight Night: Tatsuki vs. Lukas

THE CITY OF LIGHT
Lukas' hail mary was met with another burst of energy from the woman, this time following with her dodging underneath. The urge to chop the blade down against the shinigami as she did was intense; a simple motion through the forward action of her skull. But he could not - definitely should not - after all, that was the entire 'point' of it, right?

Why'd you sign up for this shit, man? Lukas half considered as her blows made contact, each one a degree up of painful from the last. 'Cause you were bored shitless, dumbass. The air from his lungs shot out as the blister of his hirenyaku under heel popped, the reishi flying outwards in a shower of sparks. A slight reeling motion sending him backwards as the woman's kick came blistering towards him, another impulsive thought to cut her leg off - this one more easily quelled by pain.

A grunt as he'd drop backwards, barely dodging the kick with another step of his own, raising his right arm with a yell.

"Fuck it! Forfeit!" a glob of blood spat onto the ground beneath as the man shook his head. The pain resonating through his chest stung, a resounding anger the only thing truly keeping him standing. "Bitch can throw a punch."

The woman's assumption would prove mostly correct, another lob of blood and saliva landing next to the man as he propped himself up. A knee propping the crook of his elbow as Lukas held his hand up in denial, palm facing outwards. There wasn't any dignity - in his mind - to be had in any additional sportsmanship. In the end, there was only one thought:

Better be happy she can walk out alive. But such bitter things were best left silent.

In his own desire, the man found enough anger to stand. A slow, creaky stand as his bones shifted between bruises. At his full height, he'd attempt to exhale, choking on the pain; making his way off the platform and back to the stadt.
