Bark and Bite

Sumera is what most would think of as a model employee. She doesn't ask questions and when something needs to be done, she does it. So when her boss's boss sends her a message about having an issue, you bet there wasn't even a minute that passed before there was a response. To save the gritty details, the problem was a minor one. An outside interference in Godai business. Apparently word on the street was that there was a kid in the Japan area fixing problems on his own. This wasn't uncommon, especially since Godai wasn't really a well-known name, but if it was allowed to continue then they lose business and then Sumera is out of a job. So, she had to help, free of charge.

Eyewitness reports said that it was kid with white hair, which meant that Sumera wasn't going to have to look to hard. Not a whole lot of blondes in Japan, let alone freaks with snow white hair. Hers was more of a case of fashion where she had a creeping suspicion that her targets was something more strange. It's not everyday that some random wants to help and even rarer that they have the means to do so consistently. Something had to be up.

Eventually Sumera was able to track him down, and wasted no time getting to business. Standing behind him at the counter to a fast food joint, Sumera spoke.

"Yo, we gotta talk."

Neighborhood Brat

Tap, tap, tap.

Eiji sighed, his snow-like locks shifting left and right as he wasted his day away without worry. It was just like any normal day, spent doing what he wanted, where he wanted. As per the usual, a majority of his early morning was spent helping out around town and doing the usual odds and ends type work he was so used to now. Nothing special, just what you'd come to expect from the kid. Despite that, the surprisingly cool summer afternoon had arrived and he found himself at none other than the best spot in town, Joe's Chicken and Chips.

The boy was hungry, as all kids tend to be on a majority of their time spent on earth. Eiji wasn't some special little experiment that didn't require food so, of course, being the growing young man he was, Joe's Chicken and Chips was the first thing to flood his mind.

So, there he was, quietly tapping away with his slender fingers along the countertop of his favorite fast food joint in town, minding his own business. Not a care in the world, most would assume. That was until... well, Eiji wasn't entirely sure what "it" was, he just knew that "it" was small, really small. Even to him, an already small guy, "it" seemed way tinier than he was. Could have been a perspective thing, who knows, who cares. All Eiji knew was that his precious time spent at Joe's was being quickly interrupted by what he assumed was a woman, he thought at least. Peaking over his shoulder at the rather rude girl, he sighed and turned back towards the man behind the counter.

"Don't know you, don't care. If you wanna talk I'm all ears, I just want my food man."

Always the selfish it seemed with Eiji, his constant tapping leaving the employee behind the counter peeved at best.

"Unless I did something bad I imagine you'll at least let a kid it yeah?"

Being handed a small basket of chicken and french fries, Eiji lit up with joy before attempting to flee the scene to the nearest table. The brat could at least give him the chance to eat, surely right?

Oh boy, she already hated him.

His demeanor was annoying, as Sumera approached him with total seriousness he seemed to basically blow her off over some food. However, anything she did at this point to retaliate would be childish and unprofessional, so reluctantly she kept her mouth shut and followed him to his seat. There was a long prolonged silence from her end as she just sat there and watched him eat his food. After she basically had just enough of the antics, she continued to speak.

"Word is that you're going around doing things for people, yeah? Like you're some kind of super hero or something." Perhaps Sumera had the wrong guy? Though she was almost certain she didn't, the young girl didn't like to make mistakes and thought it pertinent to do her due diligence. There was always the chance that she got bad info, but with her informant that was a low chance,
