AAAAAAAAAA! They were so soft!

Almost instantly a big smile spread out across Santa's fingers as those big soundpeepers turned out to be actually quite nice to touch! Those subtle little shifts beneath her fingers served as guidance to the motions, and though she still wound up peeling back, she did perhaps linger just a tiny bit longer in their handling. Ahhhhh, lucky, she wished she had ears like this!

"They're amazing! I don't think I've ever felt something so soft! Ahhh, I wish I had ears like them." She noted n openly, a soft and wistful smile as she closed her eyes, imagining such a thing. And getting to have all her friends touch them! She imagined it would be something that she could feel a bursting pride in, similar to what she was hearing from V! Entirely unaware that she had been offered what was an incredibly rare privilege.

Though that thought did soon take a back seat as V revealed that she would be in the city for at least a couple days! "Oh that's lovely! You're going to love it! It can be a bit hard to get around at first, but there's some really nice places! Big stores, there's the Cathedral, there's the Park! Ooh and so many restaurants! And then there's the beach as well! " She chimed, her mind racing for just a moment as she briefly went through all the things that there were o see around the place!

"If you wanted, I could show you around!" She then promptly offered without hesitation. Sudden strangers though they may have been, Santa was rather quickly growing fond of the woman's company! Anyone who didn't mind Arrancar and was so openly friendly most assuredly would be someone worthy of friendship.

All That and More

V's ears twitched and her lips curled up in an amused smile. "Sounds like there's a lot to see around here." She said, finishing off her coffee, and then standing up with a stretch. V already knew there was a lot to do around here, but she found it in her to humor Santa at the very least. There was no reason to be a bastard about these things even if they were obvious. The girl seemed like a bit of a ditz, but that was endearing in its own right to some people.

"Sure, if you don't mind. I'd like to see what's around. Maybe a a little tour could do the trick." Turning to face Santa with a hand on her cocked out hip and one of her usual confident smiles painted on her lips. "Lead the way, then. Better than me wandering around aimlessly, right?" Something she had done before, and something that had ended in her getting a mouthful for being late from the frenchies she admired just oh so god damn much.

Santa perked up a bit as she watched V standing up, eyes briefly drawn as the woman went into a stretch, though those eyes eventually meandered right back up to those big ears, the smile of mirth deepening on her features as she admired them. "Of course! OOH! Where do you want to go first? Did you already eat? We could see about finding someplace to eat. There's a cafe that sells lots of good stuff cooked on sticks. And you even get to keep the sticks! There's also some fancy places, they smell nice, but the people there can be a little strict, so I don't like going to those places....." She trailed off. Certainly a number of upper class places certainly had not appreciated her ....exuberant and underfunded ventures.

She paused for a moment and glanced over to V again. As if considering her options. Looking her up. Looking her down. Then straight to the ears again. Smile, ooh they were so cute! What was she thinking about again? RIGHT! Tour spots! "If you aren't feeling hungry, theres some cool places to shop too. Big department buildings and stuff like that. If you like to swim there's also some really cool beaches!"

All That and More

V couldn't deny that the girl's excitement was definitely amusing. That at least made humoring the interaction worth it. Had the bunny been in a worse mood, she'd have simply told Santa to piss off. But now that she had gotten to this point in the conversation, she definitely felt it was worth it.

A particular curt little ring in her pocket got V's attention, and she sighed knowing full well what it was. "Sorry, give me a second." She said, ears folding back a little in annoyance as she pulled her phone out and hit the button to accept the incoming frenchies' call. "Yo, what's up?" She started, going silent for a few seconds, only to scoff a few moments later and mutter, "Better be fucking ready tomorrow. Call off a third day in a row and your ass is back to the streets, you fuckin' hear me?"

She didn't even wait for a response, just hung up her phone right then and there and turned back to Santa, ears perked right back up and smiling like she hadn't been inconvenienced in the first place. In actuality she was kind of livid because that meant she might not make it to another shoot this coming weekend, but she didn't want to impose on Santa. "Sorry, remember when I said no food? Yeah, take me to the richest place here. Photoshoot's not until tomorrow now, so I don't have to worry about not eating right now."

Santa raised her brows, eyes drawn to the phone for a moment as the woman answered it. OH! A cell phone! She herself had gotten such a device, Ajora had been ...well...seemingly nice enough at the time to set up one for the group. Nowadays Verdada managed it. But even so, she at least recognized the device as she watched V have a conversation. A slight look of alarm at the sudden tone with which V spoke with the person on the other line.

However, Once V turned around and smiled to her, Santa's expression promptly shifted to one of immediate elation. The fanciest place in town?! "OOH of course! I know just the place! You're gonna love it, it always smells really good!" She chimed warmly, promptly offering her hand to V and regardless of wether it was taken or not, beginning a brisk stride off toward the other side of the city! Particularly the ritzier side! She had of course sensed that V was a little agitated, that empathic side of Santa more than capable of picking up on that. And so she was even more determined to show V a good time. Such was the task of the moon, to be a guiding light in the darkness. At least that's what she was sure Mazda would have said.

All That and More

V didn't take the woman's hand because she knew what that would look like in public. 'Esteemed fashion model dating some rando?' or even, 'You wouldn't believe who this fashion model is dating!'. Something to the effect of that. Not only did V not want that for herself, but she didn't want that for Santa either. Just being around her was dangerous enough from a social perspective, V didn't want anything worse to actually happen. The thought crossed her mind with every person she ended up meeting, but going to the expensive part of town would especially put them at risk for such a thing.

As the building started to look nicer and cleaner, not that they weren't, but were now even moreso, V started to relax a little bit. Again, not that she wasn't, but she couldn't help but feel at home knowing she'd actually get to spend real money here for things that were hopefully worth it. "So what's this place you're taking me to actually like?" The rabbit couldn't help but wonder, walking side by side with Santa while turning her head here and there to take in the sights. "Is it actually good, or is it just okay and hella overpriced?"

Santa hardly seemed to notice. After all, a couple of her friends weren't all that touchy, and so she simply presumed V wasn't into such displays of physical affection. All the same, the question caught her a bit off guard and Santa tilted her head. "Hm? Oh I don't know. I've never had enough money to eat around this part of the City, I just know that it smells really good." She pointed out with a bright smile. Showing that Santa was very far from an expert on such places. After all, she didn't have a job or any such thing, she only knew the places that she'd been able to afford from the little bits of money she earned out in the wilderness.

All the same, it didn't take long for them to arrive where Santa seemed to gravitate. And promptly V would likely know the space immediately. It was just a fast food spot that was located next to one of the major business areas in the area. It's proximity to such a large working space allowing it to exist in such a ritzy area. Making it abundantly clear that Santa had simply been lured in by the smell of fried food. But the smile on Santa's face was genuine as ever, as if she'd brought V to the very best place in the whole city.

All That and More

"Never had the money..." V echoed softly to herself, somehow not surprised at all by this revelation. "Don't worry, money isn't a problem today." She assured Santa as they walked to their destination. Surely the girl would take her to an expensive steakhouse, or a seafood diner that always tacked on some overpriced luxury to their meals just to drive up prices. It was a rather nice place in town though, V did have to admit to herself. Busy as hell, but everyone was dressed like they worked as a fashion model or some kind of CEO constantly wearing a suit even though that wasn't necessarily how that worked...

But no, the moment they stopped and V looked up to see a generic fast food chain, her heart fucking stopped. The calories, oh dear fucking god the calories. There would be hell for her to work off twice over. "Fucking..." She muttered under her breath, brows furrowed in annoyance but an amused grin was still plastered on her face. "I didn't expect some fuckin' fast food joint but... you know, if that's what you want, then fuck it." The girl couldn't help but oblige the girl her wishes. Santa was nice enough to at least show her this part of town for future reference, so V supposed she owed it to her to at least pay for some food regardless of how cheap or trash it was.

Santa was utterly and completely unaware of the faux pas she'd inflicted. After all, there WERE a lot of places with fancy food around. But uh... none of them really smelled very good at all. And peeking inside, she'd always noted poor proportions and all kinds of stuff like that. Why go to a place like that when this place smelled so good? And so as V rolled with the punches, Santa promptly let out a happy little keen of excitement, leading the way into the fast food place with a big smile on her face.

"Awesome! You're gonna love it here, everything smells so good!" She chimed, barely restraining herself from pulling V into a hug as the pair of them slipped inside. Though V might be surprised that even at such a cheap place, Santa ate a LOT, this evening certainly wouldn't be coming cheap as Santa would wind up ordering no less than fourteen burgers.

All That and More

V groaned almost in pain as she was literally pulled into the building, staring up at the familiar logo that she had... posed in front of during an advertisement, once. The bunny's ears immediately flattened, almost sulking as she tried to get them to blend in with her hair. Even still, they were pretty noticeable, as was her straight up face. If she got recognized coming here, she swore to God...

But instead they stood in whatever line there was, waited until they were up to the cashier who no doubt recognized V but thankfully didn't say anything, and the rabbit just nudged Santa gently. "Whatever you want. As much as you want." She sighed, looking the menu over for herself with all of the calorie counts listed right below each option. Oh yeah, this was going to be fucking hell to burn off. Even the salad had a comically large caloric content. Fast food never fucking changed.
