AKIRA TAIRITSU - Blue | Zathrusta (Inner Hollow) Purple

The wrestling vipers continued to strike at one another, though Solomon managed to push through as it broke the Byakurai. It came at Akira, causing each strand to directly impact the flesh as lips parted in a growl of anguish, pain sizzling about the body alongside the evident burns and smoke that began to emulate from him.

This wasn’t a kill shot? Did this Quincy mock him? He knew assholes existed within the City of Light but some did warn him of those who might attempt to bully. It was difficult to control a voice that began to ring out through the pain, a muttering.

."My, my…Why not burn the blonde to ash, little Akiraaaaa? Sweet smell of cooked flesh, delighted symphony.. Kill. Kill…Kill….KILL.

He couldn’t get emotional, even through the taunting of Zathrusta as each hand surged down into the ground, feigining a semblance of exhaustion.

."Bakudo#21: Sekienton.

Then a burst of smoke came from the ground, quickly spreading and aiming to envelope the area. Akira held an unfair advantage of it concealing movement and his ability to see through it due to the Sight, left wrist flicking and aiming as each finger in a chopping motion pushed forward.

."Hadō#1: S-Sho.

He growled, letting the concealment of this crimson smoke act as a way to atleast mitigate insight hopefully, altering the weakened Hadō in a way most might not expect. It flung outward, directed for Solomon’s gut, though regardless of impact would follow with gathering momentum, using it to cause internal bruising instead of outward physical damage. The kidney was the target!

SOLOMON RICHTER

His conjecture proved correct. Incantations truly were the cornerstone behind a superior technique. Confidence danced across his expression as he repositioned his grip around Keraunos' hilt. He could lead with his martial prowess now. His intentions were promptly compromised, however, the moment Akira employed another kido spell. The cloud of smoke expanding outward forced him to raise his sword defensively.

Solomon enhanced his vision with electrified reishi. Like a radar, his eyes darted through the crimson cloud, alerting him to the presence of a crimson ball racing toward him. High-speed movement, a combination between Steigen and his natural athleticism, allowed him to evade the attack. Charging through the smoke, using footfalls of reishi to carry him forward, Solomon descended through the smoke to execute a downward cleave against Akira's chest.

"You can't avoid me forever, Shinigami!"

AKIRA TAIRITSU

Solomon was faster, stronger.

Anything above ten in the Hadō department could not only raise alarms but cause serious damage to the Quincy, Bakudo was useful though required a level of follow up less it merely locks him in place. That might be the way to handle the Quincy, who dodged his Sho with little issue and now descended upon Akira like a thunderbolt. The strength behind his cleave came to impact an attempted parry from the Shinigami, though easily overpowered as the upper few inches of the blade carved through flesh and clothing alike.

."Nargh!

He growled out in pain as his natural instinct to take steps back saved him from anything deeper, though it still was a wound of note. Don’t release. Don’t do it Akira. Let him get out his anger then elaborate should you be conscious. Submission was sometimes easier for the sake of conflict resolution, though an exhausted and frustrated caress forced him to ignore logic.

Rare to be angry at all.

The zanpaktou’s tip suddenly tapped the ground as a surge of reiatsu followed, Akira had an idea though was banking on a few elements. Surprise. A lack of understanding of the Demon Arts. Luck. He was at a disadvantage, as another burst of red smoke once more surged out around the area. He believed atleast Solomon would either re engage with martial skill or attack differently due to a repetitive use of the ability.

."Bakudo#21: Sekienton! Bakudo#4: H-Hainawa!

Rapidly surging out another Bakudo, a yellow rope of energy slithering with great speed through the red smoke toward Solomon, though this spell was unique in that it could form into another, exactly what Akira intended to do. The vermillion down his chest though was deep, were it not his nature to be used to this type of damage, Akira would be on the verge of collapse already.

SOLOMON RICHTER

A direct hit. There was little time for celebration, however, as another cloud manifested around him. There were several predictions as to why he might have been avoiding him so much, but Solomon concluded that the most prevailing thought that to mind was that his weakness perhaps lay in his physical constitution.

Whether that conjecture proved correct was another matter altogether. Conversely, he may have been playing the role of the inferior opponent to lure him into a trap. In any case, he must remain active in his movements. Remaining stationary would only bold poorly against a practitioner of unknown skill. Before he could follow up with a flurry of offense, crimson smoke clouding his vision, he felt a yellow rope seize his body.

"Tch!"

Two spells within the span of a single breath? Tch. Perhaps there was more to his skill than he was letting on. Solomon, unwilling to be chained down, generated voltaic reishi around his body, emanating precise lines that encompassed his radius.

Using himself as a catalyst, Solomon released his spirit weapon from his hand. Keraunos followed along the path of lightning like a magnet, shooting around like a pinball to strike Akira unawares. If there was even a hint of aftereffect on his body, even a light spark, would allow his blade to strike him where he currently could not.

AKIRA TAIRITSU

Finally!

Solomon being wrapped by the binding light granted Akira the briefest moment of reprieve, yet he began distorting the Bakudo utilizing lightning based reishi that battered and began to fracture the weaker version of this spell. Fuck. The static field would easily eradicate it, though the Shinigami had a rather sneaky response to thise, left hand caressing the crimson smoke that enveloped him.

."Hadō 11#: Tsuzuri Raiden.

The smoke would be ignited by a large surge of electricity that sought to use the misty smog as a conduit and forge a large blanket of raw lightning, though before it could continue on more for a brief second- Is that a sword? Akira’s eyes widened, his sight noticing the miniscule reishi that clung to his body. He could hone in on him couldn’t he? Like lightning could be attracted to metal. Why didn’t he consider this?!

His hand shifted rapidly, though forcing him to act on Shunpo as his foot dragged him. The speed of the weapon still slashed, carving through the left side and weakening his physical ability to respond further, coughing heavily as the landing wasn’t sleek. A sloppy flopping across grass, as he heaved in pain. That…That didn’t feel good. His side was compromised, making anything physical a detriment.

Zathrusta could not be used here, nor could he release his zanpaktou. Any higher Hadō would be lethal.

."Nargh! Ugrh….T…Touche…L-Listen…People were after that insufferable girl, next time I’ll l-let them take her to an Arabian princeling. Fuuuckkk…..

He growled getting up from the ground, pacing his breathing.

SOLOMON RICHTER

The crimson smoke persisting, Solomon found it somewhat difficult, though not impossible, to make out Akira's image. Of course, that was precisely why he allowed his blade to roam along the magnetic stream of electrified reishi.

Wherever his body may be, if it possessed even a minuscule remnant of electricity, the sword would strike him true where he currently could not. As a result of his poor control of the ropes that bound him, Solomon used his physical fortitude to free himself from Hainawa's bind. The moment his freedom was assured, Solomon darted through the smoke, propelling his body forward to reach Akira.

Extending his hand forward to welcome Keraunos' return, Solomon positioned his fingers around the hilt, prepared to land a finishing blow. However, the white Shinigami's strained words afforded him a momentary respite. Tilting his head to the side, somewhat dumbfounded, Solomon pointed his edge at Akira. Truth be told, his conversation with Violet featured none of these details.

"People were after her...?"

Most of her terrified rant featured something akin to a tale reminiscent of a thriller film. A white-haired man killed other men and stalked her through the night. Sheepishly frowning, turning his head to the sky, he wondered about why the recollection felt so one-sided. Turning his back to the man for a moment, he allowed him a more permanent respite to heal his wound as he sighed softly.

"Well, it would appear there has been a severe misunderstanding here..." He admitted sheepishly, currently unable to face the man.
