Cold As Ice (Rei, Armina)

Armina could see the tiredness in the face of her opponent and it seemed apparent that the spar would come to and end soon. That being said, it was most often that when an opponent was at their limit that they were at their most dangerous and the 4th Seat had no intention of underestimating the girl. Holding her stance firmly, she’d move her hammer into position to block Rei’s next blow, only to discover that she was suddenly unable to move her legs. It seemed that the woman wanted her to remain where she was.

Unfortunately, Armina would once again channel her spiritual energy into her body and combined with her immense strength, she was able to lash out, breaking out of the ice with a vicious kick that would head towards Rei’s chest. The 4th Seat trusted her body to be able to tank any counter and if her kick made contact, then it might just end the session.

With a smile, Armina would walk over to the panting woman, her own weapon reverting back to its sealed state as she did so and offer a hand to help her back to her feet. The fight was clearly over and while the 4th Seat sometimes struggled to know when to stop, today at least, she knew when to call it quits. Rei had performed well and the 4th Division member suspected that she’d grow to become a powerful Shinigami in time. She had the will and the attitude, what she needed now was both experience and to hone her skills further, both of which would hopefully come with time.

“I think that you’re getting to grips with your Shikai and if you keep working hard, you’ll be able to create whatever you wish with it. Keep at it and speak with your Zanpakuto whenever you can for he or she is the key to truly mastering your weapon. Believe me, they’re not going to make it easy for you.” She replied, giving an approving nod to the woman. “If you wish to have another match one day, you know how to get in contact with me. I’ll take you on anytime.”
