Demigod Template

Demigods are basically the children of the Quaxahn-Kun in Adriljun, thus having immortality or agelessness, but they still can be killed. Unlike the gods in common senses, the Demigods in Adriljun are unable to perform miracles or something deemed “Godlike,” but they are highly capable magicians. The harsh reality of Demigods is that they are not very popular due to their parents being slavers and conquerors. In Platinum Hearts, they are categorized as Demons, even though they are not truly demons.

Personality
(Free Spirited) Jacob has no social restriction and known no bounds in the matter of personal freedoms.

(Fun Loving) He is the kind of guy who can take pleasure in activities that he deemed is fun, but because of his chaotic nature, he viewed everything as funny.

(Eccentric) He tends to have weird outlook in life and does things that are either strange or impractical in situations, like giving an arrancar a rose that squirts tar into their face upon sniffing.

(Optimistic) Almost all of his opinions are positive, despite some of them are rather negative spoken in lighter manners.

(Upbeat) He is always happy about something, but what is he happy about all this time?

(Chaotic) He primarily viewed reality as one big joke and he can either join in and laugh in the end or stay out and do something more important.

(Parental) He prominently cares for people who he associated himself with, which seemed not too bothersome for him if he was betrayed. His best known attribute was his ability to forgive a lot.

(Ditzy) He has tendency of going senile or can be forgetful many times, which added onto his run on gags.

(Showoff) He is a magician, which comes naturally when it comes to amazing people.

(Friendly) To anyone, he always gives them a chance, even if they hurt him.

(Brutally Honest) He honestly does not care about the affairs of others, but he can be one sadistic bastard whenever he tells them a hard truth while smiling.

(Mysterious) Jacob never revealed his past at all, making him alluring for the curious people.

(Renejaku) According to Jacob, the role of a Renejaku was to bend a bit of reality in search for the truth of their pursuit and to guide others to the truth of their pursuit.

(Moral-Minded) He has his own set of morals, which seems to focus more to preserving than anything else and he is quite adamant about his set of morals.

Cat Person: As much as he likes good looking ladies, he also has a fondness for cats.

Childish: Not a big surprise that this demigod was willing to be the fool before the others.

Dealer: He is a shop owner and he deals with artifacts that he and his Mokona found, so expect him to bring up a proposition before any deals are made, plus stealing something from him or trying to rip him off is a very bad idea.

Artifact

Name: Kiligrislarem (King’s Solemn Sworn Judgment)

Appearance: It is perceivable that it is the staff that Jakelvin is holding, but it is actually the gem core.

Properties: Kiligrislarem is alternatively capable of suppressing the aura around the keeper, rendering him virtually invisible to spiritual sensory. However the primary purpose of it is to suppress the keeper’s inner demon, preventing him from falling into temptation and corruption while being able to ward off those who have dark hearts with an otherworldly light that can pierce through any form of darkness.

Lore: It is once created by Jakelvin’s mother, Slayir, the Goddess of Slaughter and Deceit to aid her child’s father fight off against the Nether Beasts before she eventually fell wounded because the gem “abandoned” her. Ever since then, Jakelvin’s father kept it as a reminder not to fall for malevolence like his wife did. Now, Jakelvin inherited it when he found it in a Quaxahn-Kun Ruin five miles east from the Bane Clan’s arctic capital village.

Natural Abilities
Metaphysical Attunement: Everywhere he goes, there are magical energy in the air and he lives and breathes in it, allowing him to use little bits of it for the spells he can conjure while also able to manipulate the energy around him to avoid exhausting himself from using too much energy from himself. Jakelvin can also detect a metaphysical attack coming ahead of time by judging the growth in the gathering of metaphysical energy. In regards to mobility, he can use the metaphysical energy in the air to skate, levitate, fly and ski over any surface; if over hazardous areas, he’ll just choose a higher altitude. If theory is true about spiritual energy being disturbed by anything with a great amount of force like any other gas, Jakelvin could detect an event coming ahead of time due to his range of detection being more than 75 yards. Unfortunately, he cannot predict the future.

Staff Fighter: He can handle himself in melee combat as he wields his staff. Despite the staff seems to be made for mystical purposes, Jakelvin can fight well with it, using it like a twin-sided scythe. The focus type of style was close to Shaolin, but more defensive than offensive. By far, he can handle two opponents at the same time, but he does have chances of handling against multiple opponents at once because of his maneuvering. His staff can also function like a spear, but he preferred not to.

Scholarly: During his travels, he learns and observes with attentiveness of a hawk and the wits of a fox, thus allowing him to pick up on things quicker than some people. This also helps with his concentration, making him able to use magic without having to keep eye contact or stand still. Often times, he can make educated guesses while possibly can see through trickery. Unfortunately, some of the knowledge he gained are terrible and he cannot forget them.

Renejaku: He is someone who bends reality and defies fate, but by the natural laws, he cannot interfere with the affairs of others, meaning that he can twist things around for his own good, but he can only affect others indirectly, not directly. In order for someone to have a Renejaku to intervene with the affairs of others, they must pay the price that is equal value of the gravity of the offense. The worst that the price can be is sacrificing a life. Even with Jakelvin’s kindness, even he cannot change or reduce the price; it will have to be straightly paid in forward once agreed. There is only one left in all the universes, and Jakelvin was that Renejaku.

Keeper of the Kiligrislarem: He is the current holder of the Kiligrislarem, the gem that wards off evil while suppressing the evil within him. The gem is located in the headpiece of Jakelvin’s staff. The properties included self purification and warding the impure. To the person holding it, the gem alleviates the weight in their heart and mind while giving them a warm, comforting feeling. To the impure, they will feel a sharp pain like they are pressing themselves against a sword that can wound or kill them if the advance further, but in reality, it is actually extracting the corruption within them, so they are slowly being purified if they persist.

Powers
Arcane Lore: In most dimensions, he encountered a common concept of using evocation for magic, thus allowing him to use the elemental powers. According to him, the reason they work is because the magical energy is more universal than anyone could have thought of. They all needed spiritual energy in the air in order to manipulate anything from arcane to divine magic. In this world, it is referred as Reishi, Reiryoku or Reiatsu. Everything is connected in his eyes, thus he is able to use magic like wizards and shinigami can.

Otherworldly Collection of Mysticism: When traveling between worlds, he noticed so many religions with a common aspect and he learns this aspect, allowing him to use the cosmic-related powers, including rituals and exorcisms. This also allowed him to have higher awareness of the alternative nature. His abilities ranged from simple protection charms to enchanting statues to house a guardian spirit. He clearly cannot invoke God or the Soul King or send spirits to the Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, so in the end, he is just a bystander who only gets involved when he is asked to. From the look of his antique shop, he has been through more than just around the world as artifacts and relics littered for bartering and leasing, but be wary as he probably has a special enchantment over them as they tend to return to his shop once they are lost or the person is killed.

Fate: Though he cannot change free will, he can provide an indirect event like luck. The philosophy of the Renejaku is that there is no coincidence, just inevitability. Because of that philosophy, the Renejaku can choose to make any event inevitable, but they regularly chose not to interfere unless it is something that is against their morality. However, even if they interfere, some things cannot be changed, no matter how hard they tried, so they chose to embrace inevitability. If they chose to change that fate, they have to sacrifice something of equal value to him before he can use his ability and he does not deal with charity.

Reneja: (“Art of Bending Reality”) It is a forbidden art form in some dimensions, including Adriljun for the common belief that it causes bad omens and bring forth terrifying beasts that swords cannot cut. Normally, Jakelvin used it to change one normal object like a toothpick into something else like a toaster or a sword. Method of how this can be done is unknown, but according to Jakelvin, it takes more than just spiritual energy to change what already existed into something else. However, Jakelvin concluded that a magician cannot give away his secrets.

Tsubasa no Dimenshon: (“Wings of Dimensions”) It is the power to traverse between dimensions, including those who chose to take along. In the past, he could do it once per year, but he eventually mastered it to the point that this name became a namesake for the ability as each time he used it, wings appeared before he disappeared. Now he can do it more frequently, but still not on a dime. Perceptively, the dimensional portal works similarly to the Garganta, but the appearance is seen below instead of pitch darkness. Note, the Garganta goes sideways while this ability goes vertical, so the only way through it is by falling; at least the fall was the least of the worries, it is where they may land is what’s troubling.

The dimensional tunnel was a vertical tube surrounded by what it seemed to be the universe’s space. What keeps the tube together was a series of purple rings with transparent purple-hued wall glittered with stars. Upon entering, the people in it are constantly falling, no matter the logic of where they want to go, even if it was Heaven above. Apparently, Jakelvin or his Mokona is the guide as they are always there when escorting other people. The difference is that the Mokona have golden wings that relates to a swan while Jakelvin’s was seraphic with twelve sections total as it glowed brightly as pink; Jakelvin explained that the wings are natural while useful for guiding souls into another realm after death.

Creator of the Mokona: This silly race of inter-dimensional bunnies is created by him to allow him to learn more things quickly about the world that he is in or to locate something of great importance for his pursuit. Other part of them is to keep things safe by using a virtually undetectable dimension which they called, “their belly” as they usually gobble up the objects as method of storing. Due to Jakelvin’s personality being somewhat implanted into them, they have a tendency of helping more people than just Jakelvin himself. They are independent while connected to each other, thus allowing them to relay objects they gobbled up for another to use or to communicate each other (as they sit in an adorable and silly way.) Whenever they are near a relic or an artifact, they can easily detect them and in their enthusiasm, would try to either drag others with them so the person they are with can claim it or on their own so Jakelvin can have another to add to his collection.

Background/Roleplay Sample

Disclaimer: The history was very long and entirely OOC (out of canon) with some attempts to work around the canon plots.

Background: (Adriljun) Compared to Earth, it was five thousand years ago when Jakelvin was born a Quaxahn-Kun, a race of conquerors who once enslaved the world of Adriljun and created the first giants, who eventually became either, man, elves, dwarves and orcs by rapid evolution. However, the race was nearly extinct due to a holocaust of being attacked by Nether Beasts and their rebelling servants. How Jakelvin and his family survived? His parents, Jaliji and Slayir fled east while his brother, Uknirvin Hesnirik fled with him south. Eventually, Uknirvin left Jakelvin in the snowy mountain cave as it is traditional that a Quaxahn-Kun has to be abandoned so they can learn to survive.

Jakelvin grew up in the cave without food or water; he survived because he cannot die of hunger because of his immortal bloodline. Two thousand, five hundred years passed as Jakelvin watched the world changed from his cave. The dwarves dwelled below him as man, elves and orcs roamed side-by-side as nomads. Settlements, births and wars are made in his eyes as he could do nothing other than to watch the many apocalypses of war appeared again and again. Finally, he has enough of watching as his curiosity overwhelmed his adamant will to stay safe in his cave.

He walked out of his cave and used his attunement to magic to allow the air to help him glide off the mountain. At the time, the First Clan War was almost beginning as the Imperials (known as the Ignoa Clan) are trying to press their laws onto other clans through invasions. His clothes made from wolf skin and robe made of fluffy bear pelt, Jakelvin was an otherworldly person to the passing imperial patrol. As a Quaxahn-Kun, he learned to manipulate the elements around them, so he crouched and pressed against the ground, causing the patrol to sink into the road like quicksand. Gleefully, he skated by them with the control over the air around him.

He skated through the forest with the curiosity of a three-year-old until he slammed into a young woman named, Zarina, Heiress of the Moonstrike Clan. Zarina was going out to steal manifests for the growing forces of the Spikesword Clan, but Jakelvin was the least of her expectations. They have a brief fight, but Zarina stopped him, asking if he could help her free some innocents. Much to Zarina’s disappointment, Jakelvin asked the stupid question, “What are these...Innocents? Are they soups?” Jakelvin followed Zarina to the Imperial City and to a prison.

She told him that while she gets the manifests, he will free all the prisoners to create some distractions. Seeing it as exciting because he already has a taste of the “silly” Imperials, he gathered the heat from the sun above and created a large fireball. However, he dropped it because the weight is too much; luckily the prison was there to catch it! With the chaos happening, Jakelvin took the opportunity to start tearing the doors off its hinges because of his earth manipulation. The prisoners are freed and Jakelvin left and collected Zarina who was about to be caught by the Imperial Commander.

After rescuing Zarina from capture and a few sinking earths, Zarina brought Jakelvin in as a kin of her clan and her bodyguard, Jenna, noticed Jakelvin. Damrick Hellcaster was the rebellion’s top advisers and former councilor when he met Jakelvin. After series of teaching to get Jakelvin up-to-date with the current events, Damrick taught Jakelvin the secrets of his talents, Metaphysical Manipulation. One thing about Jakelvin that frustrates Damrick countless amount of time was his free-spirited attitude when learning; little to no gravity in his situations at all. Jakelvin decided that joining in the war would be fun, so he did just that.

He disappeared from the clan and went on his way to investigate the world while toying with the enemies with his more disciplined talents. His series of sabotages and rescues are nothing more than assistances for the Spikesword Clan to use in limiting the Imperials’ empire. Though he has done little in the war, few of the deeds that Jakelvin accidentally committed are critical to maintaining control over their neighbors, the Leafcull Clan and the Nage Clan. Eventually, he was summoned by Lord Spikesword during his trip into the Spikesword Capital of Thousark to assist his giant-at-arm, Xaeriar Spikesword enter the Imperial City and overthrow the Emperor because the Imperials are weak enough that the awaiting Spikesword Army are able to overrun them. The war ended when Xaeriar executed the Emperor as Jakelvin has done nothing but laugh at the Emperor’s last words, “You’re an idiot if you believed my people will fall to barbarians!”

Jakelvin returned to the home of the Moonstrike Clan and he was welcomed as a hero as he began his practice with Damrick. Many times he saw Jenna watching him and even approached him to talk. That recognition turned into a romantic climb between Jakelvin and Jenna as Jakelvin was the first to ask her the question while Jenna was the first to approach him with her feelings. Years passed by as neither of them has grown older because in Adriljun, no one grows old or die of aging; Adriljun was a piece of the paradise once sought by many. Because of that, Jakelvin hardly knew that love was eternal nor was temporary.

Their love became very strong as neither side is holding back against each other, willing to speak the names of those who hurt them. Nothing sugar-coated or kept in secrets between them as they eventually proposed to each other together. The ceremony was held in Castle Thousark under the promise by the newly appointed Royal Iron General, Xaeriar. Three years later, a daughter was born named, Elizabeth Daras Jakelvin. But forty years later, the Second Clan War began with the destruction of the Academy of Heroes that Jakelvin assisted in building.

Jakelvin was devastated for the first time, even cried as he looked upon Elizabeth’s mangled body under the Academy’s rubble. Jenna learned the news while nurturing her newborn son and she too was grieving for her daughter’s demise to the Necrofear Clan and the Nage Clan. With her students, Jakelvin buried his daughter and gave her proper burial. That moment, Jakelvin finally understand that he can still die at any moment as even paradise can be his grave. Jakelvin began his new destiny as he has one fear...

Fate.
He told his wife, Jenna to give her newborn to his friend, Yalenadira, the Priestess of the Djinn who was with a World War One soldier named Sgt. Harrison and follow him on a quest for answers that Damrick could not answer. Their trail of tears and a vow for the pursuit of questions began from there. They traveled north to the Frozen Tundra, a region far north with hazardous ice storms and wild denizens of animals and spirits. Never once did Jenna see the warm smile of Jakelvin that she once knew since she first saw him. The only thing protecting her from the ice was Jakelvin’s coat and Jakelvin’s magic.

They have found a ruin that was mysterious, but Jakelvin felt it was his alone. He walked into the ruins as an ominous ice storm forced Jenna to follow. To Jenna, the storm never ceased until two hours later when Jakelvin emerged with the gem named, “Kiligrislarem.” The storm ended as Jakelvin spoke about bending reality. Ever since then, Jenna was out helping the Spikesword Clan with the Second Clan War while Jakelvin are experimenting with his theories. Fear and grief were what driven him into trying to change his fate while his yearning for vengeance driven him into trying to use his new form of power to bring judgment for killing his daughter.

After five years alone, the war is still going as Jakelvin became the first Renejaku in Adriljun for one achievement. In the battle against the Ignoan Army, the Spikesword and the Leafcull Clan defended Thousark, only to witness the tide changing into their favor as many of the enemy soldiers are suffering from heart attacks and their machines are falling apart by rapid aging. From the south, Jakelvin and Yalenadira led the Ryssnan Djinns into the fray. Jakelvin claimed responsibility for the heart attacks of over four hundred and the breakdown of twenty machines. The battle was victorious, but the people feared Jakelvin for his new found power as the war goes on. In the end of the war, Jakelvin was considered a damned hero for using what is now a tabooed form of magic.

As the years gone by, Jenna stayed with Zarina as Jakelvin continued his practice, obsessing about changing his fate as he crafted his staff to house the Kilisgrislarem. At that very moment, Jakelvin smiled as his head lightened up from his madness. He felt purified and protected by the gem as his insecurities faded away with time. However, he began having dreams of being in other worlds. The dreams brought him a new purpose as he began practicing the art of bending reality in a new outlook; not to kill, but to aid those who deserved it.

He toured around Adriljun, demonstrating his new found purpose of using the art so the people will not be so afraid of it and gather followers. People became less afraid of it and some joined to learn from Jakelvin so they too can help others, even with the dream of saving someone from death. Years gone by as the teachings are known, but few are chosen each year by Jakelvin. Eventually, the fear replanted itself as Nether Beasts returned through an infection because the art of bending reality was not meant for people who are not the Quaxahn-Kun like Jakelvin. Jakelvin killed many of them with his elemental magic, but it continued to spread, turning the art back into a taboo.

One Renejaku and former student of Jakelvin, Athslayir fell into madness, believing that Slayir, Jakelvin’s mother wanted him to bring rebirth to Adriljun. He abused the teachings of Jakelvin to gather an army of Nether Beasts and bend them to his will through an artifact sword that once belong to Jakelvin’s dead mother. Jakelvin called for assistance from the clans to stop Athslayir from bringing forth the last apocalypse. Jenna and Zarina are the first to respond due to their deep relations as Uknirvin, Jakelvin’s older brother appeared to fight for the first time in over two thousand, eight hundred years. The clans gathered up before the recently built Athslayir’s Citadel for the battle to stop the approaching end time.

Jakelvin, Zarina and Jenna united with each other to fight Athslayir as the Clans fight to keep the Nether Beasts at bay during Jakelvin’s attempt to stop Athslayir. The three fought Athslayir and Jenna landed the final blow as Zarina ran to escape with her wounded arm caused by Athslayir. Jakelvin noticed that a portal was opened and he has to close it, but the destruction of the gateway by Jenna’s pack of explosive caused a big blast of energy, destabilizing the citadel. As the citadel fell, Zarina fell to her death and Jenna was found dead under the rubble. However, Jakelvin was missing and never to be seen.

(Dragon Age) The field of battle tainted the ground as twisted humanoids stood victorious before the old ruins. The man in gold lay dead as the old veteran is dead not far from him. The creatures grabbed the man in gold to spoil the corpse as the others are looking for survivors. What caught their attention suddenly was an orb of magical light. Who emerged from it was no other than Jakelvin, who is unusually cheerful as of late.

Unwittingly, he insulted the creatures by complimenting on their choice of decorations. One charged at Jakelvin and tried to kill him, but Jakelvin jumped out of the way, but did not fly like he did back home. This made Jakelvin chuckle in slight embarrassment as he continued to evasively dance around the speeding blade. He bumped into a large horned creature while dodging backwards. The large creature tried to grab him, but Jakelvin tried again and flew to the top of the wall with a gust of wind.

On top of the wall of the ruin, he looked around to find out where he is. All he could remember is that he was once in the Citadel of Athslayir, but now he is in this new world. To Jakelvin, there is no time for him to think of where he is, he is dead and he has to deal with what he has, but what of his powers? He can clearly still use them despite the small hiccup earlier. Knowing he is still able to bend reality, he can at least practice to the point of finding a way to leave this world since he is free now.

Unfortunately, on the wall was no place as the archers are firing at him, so he leaped off the wall and flew to the tree line behind them. From there, he goes north to a town known as Lothering. The visit was brief as he only visited the tavern to steal some food since he has no money. After that, he continued north into the isolation of the woods. It is there that he began practicing in search of the ability to open a gateway out of this world.

As events passed around him, Jakelvin practiced in secret until a band of what the locals called, “darkspawns” came by in pursuit of a woman. Strangely, the woman looked a lot like Jenna and Jakelvin saved her for that reason, wanting to find out if she is. With his elemental magic, Jakelvin burnt and sunk the darkspawns and caught the woman. Her face paled at the sight of him and pushed him away, calling him a witch before running away. Jakelvin frowned as he watched her disappeared, realizing that there is no turning back now.

He ventured westward and spotted a tower where it is guarded by armored knights called the Templar and inside, the Mages. As allowed by the Templar (who is intending to keep Mages in the tower and not outside of it) and the head of the tower, Jakelvin stayed to study about the world around him and spells they used. Took him a few years to read all the books in the library and to practice the magic of this world, which is somewhat quicker than the head expected. They told him about taking a sample of his blood as security measure, but as happened before, Jakelvin brought up a “strong hand” and the Templar feared him for possibility that he will just kill them if they upset him too much. They eventually ask him to attend the Harrowing.

As expected of the ritual, Jakelvin’s mind was sent into the Fade. However, what is unexpected was Jakelvin’s smile throughout the whole ordeal. In the Fade, Jakelvin was without his staff and he is still smiling; why is that? He has a plan as he met a trapped apprentice. He simply roasted the apprentice who was in fact a demon after asking the apprentice questions involving cake and pie.

Jakelvin returned from the Fade after killing the demonic apprentice and collected his staff. He quietly asked them to leave the room by pointing at the stairway. During the time of his magic practices, he was formulating a theory of how to open up a portal out of this world. It is one shot before the Templar could return to arrest him. He tested the theory and was successful as he eluded the Templar, but accidentally let a Desire Demon loose from the Harrowing bowl.

(Dungeons and Dragons) In the outskirts of the city of Candlekeep, a small army was forming up to take it from the humans. However within the city’s library, Jakelvin appeared in a ball of light. He learned where he is quickly through the books that he skimmed through. Faerun was what the world is and battles are very common in the lands and sea around him. He quietly walked out of the library because of the noise of approaching apocalypse awakened his curiosity.

Apocalypses are known to Jakelvin as the term “total wars” is known to those of Earth. To him, the sounds of the apocalypse is distinct from a regular battle as it sounded more like a fanfare of bloody rampaging than a fanfare of honorable beginning and ending. As he left the library, he was confronted with a guard who are asking him questions, but Jakelvin smiled, introduced himself and reminded him of the approaching enemies before telling him that Jakelvin arrived to help them. The guardsman has a hard time trusting someone who managed to get into the library without anyone seeing them, but the moment that he looked back at the gate and back to Jakelvin, Jakelvin already has flown into the air and over the wall. From there, he began...to count the enemy soldiers one by one with his index finger.

The watchmen are baffled at the new ally’s arrival while the enemies are irritated because a wizard is before them when they are told that there is no formidable wizard left there. What set off the battle early is when Jakelvin blatantly told the watchmen that there is not enough enemies to handle a gaggle of archers. During the battle, the enemies suffered heavy casualties while Jakelvin drew their rage towards himself and dodging the attacks with few tricks, including running around in a circle with hands in the air, shouting, “Weeee~!” After the victorious battle, no good guys are hurt because the enemies are too irate at “the taunting wizard who cannot stand still” to shoot at the archers. Candlekeep recorded this battle as “The Jester’s Battle” as it was too silly to take it seriously at all.

Jakelvin returned to the library, but with open arms for his assistance, despite Jakelvin comment to himself, “Are these people always in distress despite the fact they have a big wall?” There, be began his study in the arts of magic of arcane and divine nature with the use of Gorion’s Spellbook granted to Jakelvin as a reward. It was ridiculous as Jakelvin was given such a relic for running around in circles like a child playing tag with himself. But why would he complain, he gets free spells to learn from! But he needed to think of a way for him to have storage for the future relics that he would be awarded with.

In pursuit for how to do that, Jakelvin scrutinized the spellbook and learned about summoning monsters like kobolds and celestial dogs. He started practicing on the spells and managed to get the feel of how they work. However, he felt these creatures are not suitable; he wanted something cute and cuddly. What he did was created a group of small, fuzzy, talkative creatures which is later known as the Mokona. After their creation, he taught them how to use their ability to warp through dimensions and it took him a few years to have these creatures able to understand the full concepts of their purposes of gathering information, detecting relics and artifacts, and to keep everything that Jakelvin wanted them to store safe from anything.

Feeling there is nothing for him now, he left the library to go to the tavern to get some supplies before leaving this realm. Much expected to Jakelvin, he was forgotten like a last year’s winner of the pie-eating contest as he entered the tavern. He gathered his supplies and left the city of Candlekeep. Knowing that people would not like what he is intending to do, he went into the wilds to get his privacy before disappearing with his new friends, the Mokona. Just like that, he opened the portal and left this world.

(Elder Scrolls) In the middle of the city of Anvil, a bright ball of light appeared and scared the citizens who witnessed it. The guards gathered with their arrow drawn and bow reeled back. They thought it was an attack by Oblivion, but it turned out to be a mage with a strange power. They kept their bow ready as Jakelvin looked around with an upbeat smile as he sat on the small stone fence protecting a statue.

The Mokona appeared after Jakelvin and looked around. The guards looked in awe and wyrd at the little fuzzy creatures that flew out of thin air. Jakelvin happily asked them to lower their bows as he meant no harm except for those who attacked him first. Normally, mages in this world are weak, but capable of destroying a building easily. The guards lowered their bow as one asked for his name and business. The reply was simple; the name is Jakelvin and his business is pursuing.

He was directed to the mage guild and was told that they can help. The moment he joined the mage guild is when he started on learning. He sent out his Mokona to locations on the map given to him and they did. While he sat in an inn room, he waited for them to return while reading books that he borrowed. The Mokona returned each with a list of spells for their master to learn.

List after list, Jakelvin started to pick up a pattern on some spells. Overtime, he managed to connect the dots between how come he still has his powers despite he is no longer in Adriljun. It is actually deep into his blood as a Quaxahn-Kun. His people are known as conquerors, but they are primarily dimensional conquerors that are not only wiped out in Adriljun, but in many other locations for the same reason, rebellion and the Nether Beasts. A complex theory formulated in his mind that the Nether Beasts are nothing more than creatures manifested by the rage of billions in an indefinite range of dimensions; the Nether Beasts are the people whose rage known no bounds and can only be killed by magical attacks or artifacts.

The theory became deeper as he began connecting the dots about Jenna and himself. With all the spells learned, he felt no purpose in being here. He left Anvil and into the wilderness where no one would interfere with his leaving. When an oblivion gate opened behind him to block off Anvil, Jakelvin could not care as someone else is fated to close it. He left the world with the Mokona.

(Eternal Sonata) Snow is everywhere as Jakelvin appeared in the land of Baroque. In Jakelvin’s eyes, he saw melody in everything and it was rather subtle; probably a good place for thinking through his theories. The Mokona are complaining about the cold, so Jakelvin looked towards the only city nearby, Baroque. Jakelvin and the Mokona walked (or waddled if you count the Mokona’s body shape) to the city.

The people there looked at the Mokona with awe due to the level of adorableness compared to teddy bears. It did not bother Jakelvin as they entered the pub so Jakelvin can ask for directions while the Mokona can easily learn the rumors with their charms. They were told of the Aria Temple being able to answer his mysteries. However, Jakelvin believed that it will be an inter-dimensional artifact if it can. They left for Aria Temple after a hot meal or two (some of the Mokona forgot to have their breakfast back in Anvil.)

The travel was harsh as the creatures along the way did nothing, but trying to terrorize him and his Mokona, but Jakelvin used his magic to impale each monster with the road’s stones and ice before laying them back flat. As he reached the temple’s gate, he noticed a party of nine walking out with few of them having blood on their weapon. He feared nothing from them as he calmly waltzed into the temple to seek his answer. Up higher and higher into the temple, Jakelvin boundless energy allowed him to jump onto higher platforms with ease. In the end, he noticed a dark girl laying there dead with two black swords misplaced from her hands.

Jakelvin knelt down beside her as the Mokona picked up her swords and placed them on the girl after Jakelvin reposed her into a proper resting position. To Jakelvin, it is wrong for even the enemy to not have a dignified rest in peace. He walked to the center of the final room and sat on his knees. He closed his eyes and concentrate on the information as the Mokona surrounded him to assist in seeking answers. In the end, his answers are nothing more than questions in themselves.

Why am I pursuing?
Why are they pursuing?
What will happen in the end?
How will I find the end?
How will they find the end?

Jakelvin finds it funny that even if he tried his hardest, destiny was the closest to his answer while destiny changes every moment he breathed. Destiny changes every moment he stepped on the ground, every moment he said a word, and every moment he chose to wait. He sees that nothing is a coincidence like that moment in Fereldin that the woman ran into and ran away from him. It is inevitable that he will learned this truth that no matter how much he missed someone, when they are gone, they are gone and he cannot stop that. There is no such thing as luck or coincidence, just inevitability driven by the universe that ironically he and his people are slaves to.

He stood up and prepared the Mokona for another dimensional jump. He looked upon the dead girl that he helped in giving her some dignity. Her face is in peace, but vengeful from her defeat. That party of nine will have a hefty fight in their hands if they meet her ghost. He turned back straight and prepared the portal. In a bright light, he vanished with the Mokona.

(Platinum Hearts) Jakelvin appeared into this world over 300 years ago from the present. From there on, he felt that this place will be for him as the Mokona are curious as to why Jakelvin chose to stay in the world like this. Then Jakelvin turned to them and knelt before them. He told them that this is not the last moment that they will see him again, instead, they are welcomed to help him when they wanted to, even if it was a visit. The Mokona are freed to roam through the dimensions and grow into a race of their own; one inevitably became a friend to a royal family.

During his travels, he encountered a demon named Vohlis. It was in Paris as Vohlis was experimenting on the effects of demonic maggot blood upon the humans. Unfortunate for Jakelvin’s timing, one woman infected with the blood already has devoured over thirty humans and became what Jakelvin called, “Broodmother.” Jakelvin was forced to kill the Broodmother and 10 other humans infected with the maggot blood with a toothpick that he turned into a pack of explosives with a little bending of reality. That incident became known to the news as the Blood Bomb Incident of year 2275.

Now, Jakelvin is relaxing in Okinawa as an antique shop owner and fortune teller for tourists. To the spirits, he is known as “the Smiling Magician” or “The Antique Dealer.” To the humans, he is known only as “The Fortune Telling Clerk” or “The Smiling Man.” His attitude and his smile are quite recognizable to those who have been in Okinawa. In his spare time for the rest of the 290 years, he made fate-related deals for a price every time without and discount; to him, nothing is ever safe when tempting fate.

"I took roleplaying and storytelling with a live-and-let-live attitude, thus the idea of a character doing something out-of-character would add more to the character than letting it stagnate into an archetype or a character. Here: A rapid change to a character must be met with an in-the-moment conflict. Ta-da! A rule to live by!"
