Renji was in a great mood today, but he was still missing something in his schedule today. Aftersince the precaution the Commanding-Captain has took from the absence of recent arrancar and hollow activities, she has even declared that the Gotei 13 be on full on-guard for an invasion. Renji was one of the first ones to get the notification being the captain and commander of the Onmitsukido corps. Unfortunately, he was still wondering whether the Espada alignment was actually planning to invade Seireitei or not. All Renji was doing today was walking in the Seireitei districts nodding toward strangers that pass by him with a grinned expression on his face.

But, that wasn't the only thing was doing there; he was also wondering how Poliro was doing after since their last fight. It was one of the greatest battles of all times that possibly even could've got them both killed. Sadly though, Renji wasn't really trying as he underestimated Poliro. He actually had different techniques up his sleeves that nobody has ever seen except himself. If he ever meets Poliro again, he's asking for another challenge and this time, Renji is going to go double all-out compared to the last time they fought.

He just kept continuing on with his shihakusho with a sleeveless captain's haori over it. His hair was draped down instead of being tied into his usual pineapple style. His face perked a smirk everywhere he went.

Poliro Tensol

Poliro was in his normal mood. He felt sort of depressed and annoyed, and he felt alone. He was walking around Seireitei lost in his own thoughts. He was paying special attention with his senses though, having heard the reports from the Captain-Commander that the Gotei would be fully on guard incase of a attack upon Seireitei. He was thinking about The Espada's plan. He was trying to figure out what they would do if they did attack. As in, where in the SS would they come from, and such? Being a captain nowerdays, Poliro was wearing the white haori of the captains aswell as his typical Shinigami uniform. He gave brief nods to people, but didn't really care about them right now.

One thing he had on his mind was about Renji, slightly ironic due to the fact they were both thinking about how each other were doing. Poliro powers had advanced quite far from when he first fought Renji. Poliro knew for a fact his power hadn't really changed over 400 years, so he thought to himself he could probably take on Renji and again and win the fight. Thats where he got a idea. Why not have a little rematch to see if he had changed at all? He began speeding up as he looked for signs of Renjis reaitsu throughout the area. He jumped up onto a roof top and began a bit of showing off. He drew out his Zanpakuto and said in a confident roar. "Burn the Universe, Furemingu Shibo!" He held his Zanpakuto up to the sky as the flames roared out to the sky and heated the area up with its intesnity. They eventually quelled down and the flames took the shape of a rather big sword. It used to be small years back, but now it even was bigger than lets say, Zangetsu in its Shikai.

He roared out again for Renji. "RENJI! YOU HERE!? IF YOU ARE WE ARE GOING FOR ROUND 2!" The thought of battle excited him and really changed the mood. The Seireitei was sunny and bright, making it quite a nice fit for Poliros Zanpakuto, so that water couldn't weaken it or what not. He took a stance with his Zanpakuto awaiting Renji to find him, after that fire show, it'd be easy.

Renji
glanced at the sun as he lifted his arm up in desperation from the heat coming from the sun and the purpose to shade his eyes so that he doesn't go blind. Being the captain of the second division, the eyes were pretty important for his job and duty. If he lost one of them, a hell would break loose and he wouldn't be able to see Rukia. Ah, Rukia... the childhood friend of Renji and someone who he actually had romantic feelings about. He never actually met her in a long time due to a busy schedule, but he knew that she was the lieutenant of the division he used to belong to under the command of Captain Byakuya Kuchiki. Someone who he considered a deep rival for long years. Even right now, Renji doubted that he'll be able to defeat him with the abilities he have right now and the way he lost to Poliro. This time, he's not going easy.

All of a sudden, he felt the straying heat intensifying and Renji was sweating drops from his forehead down to his chin then they decided to fall onto the ground from the weight of all sweat gathered together. It is a bad idea to be fighting a fire-based shinigami in this heat, but it seemed like this heat wasn't normal. It just felt unnatural, so he decided to look around for a scent on where it's coming from and found a good imaginary red mark within all of the whites. The heat was coming from there and he felt a similar stench; Poliro Tensol, the Flame Reaper. Renji decided to get there as quick as he can and with the help of shunpo, got there to see Poliro already released and good to go shouting out Renji's name. He immediately knew this guy wanted a round two as much as he wanted as well.

"Yo. Looks like you're ready to get on with the next round, huh? Howl, Zabimaru."

He took out his zanpakuto after the release as it starts to glow in bright crimson red. The shape started to change into his shikai; with the zagged pointed edges and the blade separated into segments for his own unique fighting style that was considered one of the most hardest styles to get used to of all zanpakutos. Poliro's zanpakuto looked easy to use as it was pretty much based on heat and fire, nothing with the physical attribute, really. He didn't want to cause trouble so he decided to hop up after his last statement in a pretty good speed to at least try and kick Poliro all the way to a nearby wasteland of nothing but rocks, tattered clothing and ragged weapons. The kick wasn't hard enough to damage Poliro but for a knockback toward the training ground. He would probably land on his feet unharmed with a grin on his face.

"Doing it here, Polu-san."

He immediately gave Poliro a nickname on the spot. It had that natural Japanese inherited accent on it but it sounded pretty cool nonetheless. It would probably piss off Poliro, but that would be considered a good thing in this case since he's definitely not going easy this time. Good luck, since everyone's going to need it.

Poliro Tensol

Poliro felt the heat of his Zanpakuto affect even himself, as he began to sweat and he felt no coolness on this sunny day at all. He decided he did feel a tad bit too hot, so he ended up throwing his Captains haori off himself, it was a layer of clothing that'd probably get damaged in this epic upcoming battle anyway. This was going to be a fight to remember, Poliro was way stronger now, and he had obtained new powers and ablities. What had Renji obtained in this fight? He didn't know, but he was going to put his money on that it hadn't changed at all, which Poliro thought would make him abloustely sure he would win the fight. But Poliro was counting the chickens before they hatched, it seemed. Poliro gripped his Zanpakutos hilt and could feel Renji coming to him. He simply smirked as he knew he wanted a round 2 as much as Poliro did, and he was going to make this one hell of a battle. " He wasn't going to pull punches.

"SO THEN RENJI! YOU RELEASED YOUR ZANPAKUTO STRAIGHT AWAY THIS TIME!?" He shouted in a excited roar. "YOU MUST REGRET NOT DOING THAT THE MOMENT WE BEGAN THE FIGHT LAST TIME EH!?" Poliro was quite over excited for this battle, and that was for sure. Poliro always enjoyed a fight, but when its with a old time rival like Renji, you expected him to be rather hyped for this battle. Poliro nowerdays was noted to be rather depressed and isolated from everyone else. What can you expect when his only love, Ayane Redwood was dead and buried? Poliro wasn't ever the same man from that day, and he seemed to be seeking someone else to try and fill the void in his heart. The only thing that got him really happy nowerdays was a exciting battle. And now that he had gotten one, his normal depressing mood would be cast away for a hyperactive, manic fighting mood that would seem rather distant from the normal Poliro. "HELL YEAH! IM READY FOR THE NEXT ROUND, YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!"

Poliro observed the release of Renjis Zanpakuto, not really awe struck or nothing, but was still in knowledge that this Zanpakuto was a strong one, and it worked in ways sort of like Poliros own. He knew that Renji was a skilled man with his Zanpakuto, and he was generally strong with a weapon due to the fact Renji's zanpakuto needs a entirely new style to manage it and use it effectively in a fight. Poliros Zanpakuto may of looked easy to use, but it really wasn't due to the amount of techinques the Zanpakuto has. The Bankai was very simple in nature, but its Shikai is a flaming sword that can extend and retract and can function something like a whip. There was quite a big difference in the difficulty levels. Upon Renjis attempted kick, Poliro willingly let himself get hit so that he could just get to the battlefield faster.

He landed on his feet with no visible damage, and was simply smirking as Renji expected. Renjis nickname for Poliro sounded weird to him, as Poliro was British in origin and not Japanense, but he picked up on the honorfics, atleast. For once, in his sentence, he was shouting like a madman. "A japanense nickname for a british man..? Well I suppose most people here are Jap's so..." He wasn't really pissed off by it, things like nicknames don't really piss him off, but names aside, Poliro resumed his shouting manic voice as he got re-excited. "WELL THEN, LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!"

LET BATTLE COMMENCE!!

Poliro began dashing towards him like a mad man, commencing his first attack on Renji. He began with a simple two handed horizontal slash to his chest which would send out a damaging fire wave, making this attack near enough a double strike. After doing that, Poliro would Shunpo and begin using something he was masterful at - Kido. "Sai!" Doing that would restrict Renjis arms behind his back. Poliro was going to use this so hopefully he wouldn't be able to attack. His attack wasn't over yet. He called out a new ablity name.. "Restrictive Rope of Fire!" Suddenly, Furemingu Shibos flames began to wrap around Renjis body and arms. Renji would suffer second degree burns if he didn't break this soon enough, and already he'd feel like his entire body was burning. With these starting attacks, Poliro looked to be a fierce oppenent. He was called The Flame Reaper for a reason.. and he had told the world why with his battles.

The kick was successful but Renji knew that Poliro took it like a man for his advantage to get to their destination. Everybody likes a free ride; and in this case, it still counts despite the fact that Poliro was a really good shouter that he never realized until now. Something about Poliro was different and it felt like a mad man was dragging Renji within himself when there was nothing physical like that going on. Surely, this was going to be one of the biggest battles - and even better one than before hopefully as they both have techniques that hasn't been shown to each other yet. Renji landed on wasteland with his outfit still on and the sweat dripping from his forehead. It was getting a bit more heated.

When Renji saw Poliro dashing toward him like a crazed serial killer. His eyes flicked at how different he was compared to last time. Long ago at their first battle, he was a much more calmed laid-back type but this one seemed a bit more aggressive and combat orientated. Poliro got close to in front of Renji, and he noticed it as well but didn't move an inch from where he was until the slash came down. Renji was slashed onto his chest with the burning sensation flowing through the body. Poliro should've never expected him to actually just stand there and get sliced, would he? As he was slashed, a great fire wave flooded over his body and his knees were about to fall on the ground until he was casted with the low level bakudo, Sai. His arms entangled behind his back and he yelped a low tone until the flaming ropes just wrapped around his body like an anaconda from the jungle.

However, the Renji that he was attacking was replaced with his captain haori, all tattered and burning from the flames that got in contact. Renji was gone and already behind Poliro a few feet in the air. He swung his body around with his zanpakuto in a tight grip about to land a stronger kick that could probably break bones if it lands directly. This ability was commonly known to be performed by Yoruichi and Byakuya but Renji found out his own way on how to use it successfully as of being the captain of the second division. The kick was also strong enough to even knockback a guy with a tough physique even if they happen to block it with their body. Evading this would be tough as it happened within the split second of eye blinking.

Poliro Tensol

Poliro Tensol, the "Flame Reaper" was visibly different from how he was back then. While he used to be calm in combat in his last encounter, due to his personality changes due to the things in his life that had happened, he was now a very manic fighter, indeed fighting like some sort of serial killer. Poliro was going to make this his biggest battle in his life yet. He was going to hit the limit of power in order to avenge himself. He resolved to himself long ago never to lose to anyone... never to give up in a battle. Poliro used to think he was at the limit of his power upon obtaining bankai, but now, that was a lie. Poliro had realised that his limits are still far far away. He was going to become as strong as possible to defeat the arrancar no matter what... and that was Poliros reason for existing, and his reasons for joining the Gotei 13.

Back to the fight! Poliro smirked as he appeared to of sucessfully constrict Renji within his ropes, and he appeared like he wasn't really trying to break them? Poliro was kind of suspicious about this, he knew Renji wouldn't just take the burns, he would try to make some kind of escape from that. How would he escape this constrictive rope of fire? Poliro supsicisons then came true. Renji was gone, and Poliro eyes widened in a bit of shock. He hadn't seen this techinque before, and he was caught off guard by it, but he realised what could come next. In a quick reaction, he turned around and would attempt to grab Renjis leg to stop the attack, and then spin him around himself to throw him to the floor in a powerful throw that would cause a explosion of dust and stone.

After doing that, he dropped down to the floor. Poliro looked a bit insane with his face. The blood vessels in his eye were starting to show, and he had a expression like he was going to kill. He must be really enjoying this fight.. he could feel the heat of his Zanpakuto pulsing over his body still, he had really warmed up this area. He carried on with the combat, by casting another kido. "Bakudo 21, Sekienton!" A blast of red smoke filled the area, sort of like a ninjas bomb. The smoke began to sprawl across the area, obsucring Renjis sight. The swish of a Shunpo could be heard, and this was Poliro coming up behind Renji. He went to slash with his Zanpakuto all down his spine, vertically. If this hit, the burns would most likely sear and cause damage to Renjis spine, and in which case could cause damage to the spine which is very, very serious. Poliros attacks were very fierce... what was going on with him? Something had changed in Poliro, not only emotionally... but something deeper. Would the mystery unveil through this battle? We would soon find out, as time tells all secrets eventually.

As Renji swung his kick, he thought he would land the hard blow to his back to give a strong knock. Instead, Poliro caught the leg by surprise and tried to throw him down. Being used to acrobatics by now, Renji twirled then slid his way out of the grip of Poliro's hand and landed on the floor unharmed except that he now had this mark around his leg from the guy's grip. The guy's grasp on his leg was strong enough to break few minor bones in an instant. Luckily, Renji only grew with the mark on it. He grinned at the excitement that was slowly growing around the place. Temperature retained its hotness and it looked as if a breeze wouldn't even come. Even if it did, it would be rare and most likely under a meadow.

He lifted up his zanpakuto so that it laid flat on his right shoulder (since he was right-handed) on the less edgy and sharp side.

"This is getting great! You did improved! I'm not holding back."

Then, Poliro casted a number twenty-one bakudo spell. In wonder, Renji squinted his eyes as the area was covered in devastating smoke. He knew exactly what to do; he closed his eyes as complete blackness shrouded his mind. Then, a red mark grew from his back.

In retalliaton, he opened his eyes quickly and turned his body around by his heels whipping Zabimaru horizontally then yelled.

"If you can't see it. Hear it!"

The zabimaru was in the air as he held a tight grip on his zanpakuto. Even though Zabimaru was a basic whipping zanpakuto, it still had immense strength enough to overwhelm Ichigo Kurosaki, the captain of the thirteenth division in an instant until he was deveated by Ichigo's quick boost of abilities and skill.

Poliro's attack clashed with Renji's zanpakuto creating those effects that usually happens when the fire touches a metal-like object with great strength and speed. The blazes of flame just erupted from there and luckily, Renji was a few meters away from it while feeling the heat. Renji was serious looking as if his eyes had the intent to kill which was the basic thing to do for Zanjutsu. Dash in like you're going to kill them, but something was wrong here. This Poliro felt different. It wasn't the fact that his strength was a bit stronger or if he was faster than he usually was. It was that he felt like he wasn't fighting Poliro at all but something more conjoined with him. Something more... scary.

As the gliding of their weapons went along, Renji still had his left hand for free use.

"Bakudo no. 63, Sajo Sabaku!"

A golden glow started to shroud his left hand and in one second, he swung it upward only to throw a binding chain around his body. This was strong enough to held Ichigo for one moment by Toshiro Hitsugaya. However, Renji was a master with Bakudo spells as of belonging to the Onmitsukido and the need to restrain his opponents. He was able to cast mid-level kido without any problem but it held a great toll as he will sometime mess up just like his previous number eighty-eight hado that he did before. There were still smoke around them and the only way Poliro would get out of that is to jump out of the smoke in this case unless he has one way to get rid without having to leave the place.

'Something's different... it's weird...'

Poliro Tensol

The difference of Poliro was increasingly showing, through this bout. It was starting to get a bit scary, but was Poliro REALLY trying to kill Renji? Of course not, but he was sure acting like he wanted to kill him. Poliro took Renjis complient with a smile and responded to it. "I'm a captain now, i'm stronger than I used to be!" He had appeared to of been more calm in talking, but his actions and movements still made him seem like some kind of insane serial killer. Poliro had a idea in mind to clarify to Renji what was going on, to avoid any confusing misunderstandings of Poliros real intentions and so it doesn't turn into a deathmatch rather than just a fight. After all, Renji and Poliro were sort of buddies in a sense, so why have their little friendship end with Poliro just being a bit darker than usual? Well it wasn't the fact he was just acting darker than usual.. it wasn't a act.

Their Zanpakutos clashed, after which Poliro went to back off for a moment to plan a next attack against Renji, but in a bad suitation for Poliro, he was now trapped in Bakudo 63, and he was now snared in place. "Damn it.." it seems Poliro was agiated by this turn of events.. and he began to extert his reaitsu to break the chains. "SORRY BUT!" He roared. "YOU CAN'T HOLD ME WITH THIS LEVEL OF KIDO RENJI! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD OF LEARNED BY NOW!" he broke the chains and destroyed the kido entirely with his power. He took a few breaths and then slashed his Zanpakuto all around him, clearing the smoke up. He ended up staring down Renji. Suddenly the mood shifted... "Renji.. its about time you understood why I'm different... don't tell anyone else you saw what your about to see.. and prepare yourself for this battle to go to the next level..." he talked calmly and sort of darkly.

Poliro put his hand to his face, and suddenly dark blue reaitsu began forming. Renji would be able to feel the force of this reaitsu. After the burst of this dark blue reaitsu ended, Poliros Zanpakuto flame had turned dark blue.. and Poliro had a hollow mask on. It appeared to be like some sort of clown mask, with a purple lighting like mark on the left one. Poliros pupils had a red glint in them now. The area got even hotter after Poliro had used his Hollowifaction form. He talked in the rasp, hollow like voice when he next spoke. "I am in control of myself, don't worry. Lets carry on." Poliro then used Sonido instead of shunpo, and suddenly he was right behind Renji without alot of warning. His speed had increased.. and he went to make a stab attack with his Zanpakuto, which could result in Poliro burning through Renjis chest. After that, Poliro would back off and take a guard stance for Renjis counterattack. In 2411, surely Renji wouldn't see a Vizard friend as a threat anymore..?

As the zanpakuto clashed, Renji was still wondering what was different about Poliro in this battle - again, it wasn't that the fact that he was stronger and quicker than before, but more of the general aura that this guy carries. It was something that you can feel from just getting close to him. His eyes carried the eyes of a murderous raider who had no remorse for the dead and no honor at that, just only wanting to kill for the sake of themselves. But Renji knew Poliro wasn't like that; Poliro was a nice guy and a good friend to be sparring with. These two had similarities that got them to get along so easily, but the fact that Poliro was like this, it was as if it wasn't him anymore.

The clash ended with Poliro backing off a bit causing the blazes of heat the slowly fade away but leaving the hot steamy hair there. Where Renji was staying on had a circular motion of breakage due to the force of Poliro's attack. It was strong enough to cause Renji to get forced down onto the ground to create a crater-like surface. Poliro got trapped onto Renji's kido but broke out of it with ease as a huge burst of dark reiatsu started to slither out of him. It felt as if two trucks were on each of Renji's shoulders. He was able to handle the weight of this strength by bursting his own crimson reiatsu up into the air.

'What is this? Could it be that he's...'

Poliro remarked that he was different and that nobody should know what Renji's about to see right now. He made a guess that it might be that due to the hollow-like reiatsu. He held his Zabimaru close to him in a defensive position while keeping a substantial stance enough to take a huge damage but only end up with few minor scratches and hopefully no snaps. Poliro left his hand onto his face only to slide it over it. It was leaving a trace of dark-blue like reiatsu along with it creating a mask; specifically a hollow mask. In surprise, Renji widened his eyes at this. Poliro's crimson blaze flames were now dark-blue making it seem a little less intense. However, it was much more intense than Renji has imagined.

Renji looked at Poliro for a moment until the guy disappeared and reappeared behind Renji. There was something wrong; he's normally able to sense the reiatsu of anyone who uses a flash stepping ability. That means this was not a Shunpo! It was a Sonido! Something that people have trouble finding a trace of. Renji just grinned.

"Bankai..."

Before the stab was landed, in a circular motion, a huge wave of winds were twirling around Renji. It was shaped like a half-sphere and it was strong enough to blow whatever that tries to come in contact. If Poliro was still there during the stabbing attempt, it would cause the wind to blow him away not in a huge forceful way, but rather making him immobile to keep too much balance. The wind faded and inside was a mechanical serpent creature with a skull head along with yellow glints as the eyes. It had fur of red around it's neck as a mane and at the bottom of its tail was a grip held by Renji who also had a mane of the similar color as the snake's.

Even before a one second wait of the wind fading, the snake bursted out to attack Poliro in an aggressive manner. The snake's mouth was strong enough to carve through buildings and diamonds without any problem and the goal was to encase Poliro within the mouth or at the tip of it. Even blocking this would be tough for a hollowfied Poliro. The snake's mouth would even attempt to close the gap slowly as time flows.

'Sorry, think I'm winning this time...'

He thought to himself. He wanted to win this time even if it meant to die.

Poliro Tensol

-UNLEASH THE FLAMES!-

Poliro felt like he currently had a advantage over Renji, as he had ascended to a power level above Renjis, most likely. Now that he had used the hollowifaction, his battle style would become more crazy like, fighting like a hollow, but everything about Poliro had improved while he was in this state. His strength, his speed, his spirtual power. Everything like that had improved in Poliro, and he was hoping for a victory to be drawn soon. As he went in for the crushing fire attack, Poliro heard the word Bankai and knew this fight was going to get a lot more heated. "SO you used bankai eh..~" He spoke in that creepy hollow voice, as he would for the rest of the fight he had the mask on. His attack was blown back by the howling winds, Making Poliro raise his arms to try and keep balance against the winds. He did keep balance and saw the giant baboon snake, and noted how it just looked the same! It hadn't changed.. Poliro felt he had the advantage, but he was took off guard by the snake bursting out to make a attack onto Poliro, but his reactions where fast enough for him to respond with a Sonido behind Renji. He didn't move then.. or take any actions. "RENJI! WE ARE GOING BALLS TO THE WALL DUDE! LETS ROCK! TIME TO UNLEASH THE FLAMES!" Poliro was into the battle fully and surely, he was shouting with exictement and he still had the creepy hollow voice.

"BANKAI!!!!!!!!"

A huge exploision of Poliro's fire element reaitsu filled the area, as suddenly, a ring of blue fire began to surround them, as Poliro emerged from his own Reaitsu. The force of his bankai release could cause slight loss of breath, stress on the body, and at the worst may cause some dizziness depending on Renjis will. His gauntlets had changed a bit. They appeared to have this blue aura around them instead of the usual orange firey color. Poliro smirked at Renji from under his mask. "WELL THEN! LETS GET READY! THE FLAME REAPER IS IN THE HOUSE!" the area nearby was looking rather destroyed, the ground was smashed, some parts were burning.. it was now like they were in hell. Without a word, Poliro went dashing up into the air with Sonido, his speed had increased EVEN more than their last battle. Poliro's Bankai with mask gave the man Immense speeds.. he jumped up into the air and came crashing down, with his "Eruption" ablity, which would cause a volanic uproar of fire in the area around Poliro. He kept doing this around the area, over and over and at rather intense speeds. The entire circle was enventually hit by this ablity, making it a hard dodge for Renji. After wards, where ever Renji was, Poliro would appear in the sky above him, and he unveiled a new ablity. "HEY RENJI! HERES ANOTHER ONE FOR YOU! FIREBALL BARRAGE!" Two fireballs of blue fire formed in Poliros hands, of medium size. He fired them at Renji at a semi-fast speed, causing explosions.. and then. Poliro began shooting out really fast little fireballs, all causing mini explosions to the point where it looked like the circle was exploding. After those fierce attacks, Poliro came down onto the floor and readied a stance ready for Renjis next action. "HELL YEAH!" .....Poliro was scarily strong now.... this goes to show the Flame Reapers power.. the floor was holed up, burnt up like it was ashes. Poliro had caused a lot of damage to the area, and possibly a lot to Renji..
