Kidō (鬼道, "demon way") is the technique that Shinigami use to focus their Spiritual Energy into a wide variety of magic spells that can serve many purposes, such as healing, defense, or combat. According to Sōsuke Aizen, it is one of the four basic Shinigami combat forms.

Each spell is graded on a scale from 1 to 99, the latter being the most powerful and the most difficult to perform. The scale is a measure of difficulty, as there can be multiple spells which share the same level. To use Kidō, a Shinigami must recite the specific incantation for the spell, which is often long and requires a few seconds to speak.
The power of a spell relies on the power of the user, as even a low-level spell can be utterly devastating when utilized by a high-class Shinigami.

Kidō can also be used for practical purposes as well. Renji Abarai has demonstrated that a kidō spell can be used to light a dark hallway if the spell is tweaked in the right way.

There are three main types of Kidō: binding spells, destruction spells, and healing spells.

  • Bakudō (縛道, lit. "Way of Binding"): These are a broad category of defensive spells which block/repel attacks or freezes enemies in place. This class of spells include Kidō Barriers & Seals.

    • Barriers: Focused spiritual energy formed into a solid form of energy. This energy can take on many shapes or colors as determined by the user. Barriers are protective in nature and can be as simple as barrier only protecting one direction or encompass all sides of an area. Barriers also use for containment while some barriers can be used offensively. Barriers are also capable of masking spiritual pressure and can make one spiritually and physically invisible. A strength of a barrier is depending upon the power of the user. Weak barriers are easily breakable while strong ones can last centuries. Barriers created by noble blood are said to unbreakable by those of lesser status. Certain barriers can be placed beforehand and activated later, while others require certain artifacts and time to activate.
    • Seals: Are somewhat similar to barriers but are far more powerful and require far more preparation to create. Seals are only possible to use by those of sufficient spiritual power being that are meant to hold the most powerful or dangerous artifacts or beings. Seals are commonly hard to break.

  • Hadō (破道, lit. "Way of Destruction"): These are offensive spells which harm an enemy or cause damage to objects.
  • Healing spells: These do not have known names, numbers, or incantations to cast, and simply heal the target. As the user holds his/her hands above the patient's wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. The mechanics of this healing technique involves the replenishment of the patient's Reiatsu first, then using the body's Reiatsu with the healer's Reiatsu in order to heal the patient's body.

B A K U D O


  • Bakudo 1 - Sai (塞, Restrain) - Locks a target's arms in place behind their back. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 3 - Estriata Lux - This Kidō engulfs the surrounding area in a nearly blinding green light. It lowers the accuracy of both combatants. Because of this, the target to the Kidō is somewhat slow to react to things they see. They can react in normal speed to things they feel, however. - Blind Them!
  • Bakudo 4 - Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) - An energy rope entangles the target's arms. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 7 - Gyokuseki o Hogo - When used, a panel of reiatsu is created, 5 feet wide and long. It cannot move, but offers resistance to up to a medium sized bala. How long it lasts depends on the strength of the user. Beginner: One post; Adept: Two posts; Advanced: Four posts; Master: Seven posts. - Shield me, protect me, from the reality of what is in front of me!
  • Bakudo 8 - Seki (斥, Repulse) - Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 9 - Geki (撃, Strike) - Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them. - Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!
  • Bakudo 9 - Hōrin (崩輪, Disintegrating Circle) - Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together. - Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!
  • Bakudo 11 - Haru Bōdo - When used, increases a Beginner or Adept level of General Speed to halfway to the next rank of speed for 1 post. When used, the legs from the knee down form a solid aura of whatever color the users reiatsu is. It has no effect on General Speed stats ranked Advanced or Master. - Legs like a jack rabbit's, reach for the sky!
  • Bakudo 20 - Binding Cross - The user aims their palm at the enemy then a blue flash of reiatsu shines in front of the user as a cross made out of reiatsu is fired from their hands at the enemy. If the enemy is within ten feet of the caster the blinding flash of blue light will momentarily blind them, giving the cross the time it needs to strike them once it has they will literally be, crucified on it. They are bound to the cross held in place by the intense reiatsu rope that entangles their arms, the Bakudo keeps an enemy trapped for one turn. It cannot be used without the use of the incantation, even attempting to do so will result in a backfire hurting the caster. - Bind them within the holy symbol!
  • Bakudo 15 - Rokku no Hifu - When used, increases a limb's durability by half a rank of durability. The limb is covered in a black aura that is faint. It will have no effect on those with Advanced or Master rank of Durability. The change lasts for 2 posts. - Those who would destroy me will find no purchase, and those who corrupt shall be denied!
  • Bakudo 21 - Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Escape) - Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 26 - Kyokko (曲光, Curved Light) - Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 30 - Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Piercing Triple Beam) - Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 33 - Kurokumo - Blocks out light in an area of approximately 50 feet in all directions from the user, making the area darker and more submerged in shadows. - Hide in shadow, erase all light, bring forth darkness upon thy foes.
  • Bakudo 37 - Tsuriboshi (吊星, Suspending Star) - Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of reishi. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 39 - Enkōsen (円閘扇, Round Lock Fan) - Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 49 - Tsunagareta Kokoro - A willing subject and you match reiatsu for this spell, and feel everything the other does as long as its in effect. - (said together) One is both, and two is one, touch and feel as we bind to one another.
  • Bakudo 58 - Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows) - Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. - Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain.
  • Bakudo 61 - Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light) - Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams. - Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!
  • Bakudo 62 - Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred Steps Fence) - A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 63 - Sajo Sabaku (鎖条鎖縛, Locking Bondage Stripes) - Similar to Bakudō No. 4, but stronger, this spell binds the arms of a target. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 64 - Burakkuchēn - Black chains spring up from the shadowy ground and wrap themselves around the target's upper body, completely binding their arms and upper body. - From the shadows spring forth, bind thy foe in thy dark power
  • Bakudo 65 - Burakkuchēnpiasu - Fires a very long black chain in a straight line from the users hand. The chain can be as long as the user wants, but the longer it is the more reiatsu is required for it. There can be many uses for this Bakudo, depending on the creativity of the user. The first chain link is an arrow like link, very sharp and with piercing capabilities. The arrow at the start of the chain can pierce through a body or other such thing, if the reiatsu put into the chain is greater then that of the thing being hit. If the chain overlaps itself at any point, it can fuse together at that point, if the user so wishes. - Pierce the shadows, as far as thou can reach
  • Bakudo 73 - Tozanshō (倒山晶, Inverse Mountain Crystal) - Creates an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 75 - Gochūtekkan (五柱鉄貫, Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars) - Summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars which are connected to each other by chains to pin a target to the ground. - Walls of iron sand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end.
  • Bakudo 77 - Tenteikūra (天挺空羅, Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air) Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. - Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens.
  • Bakudo 79 - Kuyō Shibari (九曜縛, Nine-Daylight Bonds) - Creates eight black holes that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the targets chest. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 81 - Danku (斷空, Splitting Void) - Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89. This is seen also when Aizen uses it to block Tessai's Hadō #88. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 99, Part 1 - Kin (禁, Seal) - Ties the target's arms on the back in addition to wrapping the spiritual fabric around the entire body, and continues to pin the target with spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target with several iron shafts in an "X" shape. - No incantation
  • Bakudo 99, Part 2 - Bankin (卍禁, Great Seal) - This spell covers the target from head to toe with spiritual fabric (First Song), stabs them with numerous metal bolts (Second Song), and then smashes them with an immense metal cube (Final Song). - Shokyoku - Shiryū (初曲・止繃, "First Song - Halting wrap"); Nikyoku - Hyakurensan (弐曲・百連閂, "Second Song - Hundred Serial Bolts"); Shūkyoku - Bankin Taihō (終曲・卍禁太封, "Final Song - Full Ban Great Mount")

  • Hadō 1 - Shō (衝, Thrust) - Pushes the target away from the caster. - No incantation
  • Hadō 3 - Piercing Shot - The user simply points a finger at the enemy then fires a small bullet shaped reiatsu projectile about the same size of a .44 bullet this reiatsu bullet then pierces the enemies flesh. It can also be fired multiple times in succession without an incantation, but the piercing power is greatly reduced for doing so. - Pierce their soul and tear their flesh.
  • Hadō 4 - Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) - The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger. - No incantation
  • Hadō 7 - Denki-dama - Creates a small sphere of electricity in the users hand, not harming them. As soon as it is primed and thrown, it is able to do damage. When it touches a surface, it explodes in a diameter of 3 feet. Anyone hit by the attack will feel minor electric damage. - Sphere of power, form in my hand. Feel the call of THUNDER!
  • Hadō 8 - Kaen-dama - Creates a small sphere of fire in the users hand, not harming them. As soon as it is primed and thrown, it is able to do damage. When it touches a surface, it explodes in a diameter of 4 feet. It will start a fire if it hits a combustible surface that can be stopped by the user willing it too. The attack deals mild fire damage. - Sphere of power, form in my hand. See the light of the BURN!
  • Hadō 9 - Kōri no tama - Creates a small sphere of sharp ice in the users hand, not harming them. As soon as it is primed and thrown, it is able to do damage. When it touches a surface, it explodes. shooting twenty small ice shards in all directions. The ice can cut the target. Not recommened to be used near the user. If thrown into a small fire, will put the fire out. - Sphere of power, form in my hand. Hear the crack of the FREEZE!
  • Hadō 11 - Tsuzuri Raiden (製本電, Bound Lightning) - Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. - No incantation
  • Hadō 17 - Pulse Blast - The user gathers a sphere of reiatsu in the palm of either hand, the sphere grows to be to a size comparable to a basketball after it has reached its maximum size it is fired at the enemy. The sphere shoots from the users hand traveling in a straight path, the sphere can travel a maximum reach of twenty feet. If it hits the enemies body or any solid object it will explode into a burst of reiatsu, the reiatsu pulse is capable of sending enemies flying a great distance. - No incantation
  • Hadō 29 - Dākushokku - After the Incantation, The User could fire out a Dark Blast from his palm, with electric surrounding the Dark Blast that was able to shock and paralyze the enemy if it made contact with it.To paralyze the enemy's arms only, it needs a full contact.The paralyze only last for one post.The effects from the Dark Blast also could suck away half of the enemy's spiritual energy, if it makes another full contact.It could only works on the second time after the enemy's paralyze effects are gone.The range is 50 meters away.It deals a high moderate damage for full contact.Low Moderate damage for half contact, minor damage for small contact.It needed an average amount of reiatsu to use it.The cool down are 2 post for adept, advanced and master Kidō user.Beginner needs 3 post of cool down. - Combine with the Darkness and Lightning, Shocking them with it, Dark Shock.
  • Hadō 31 - Shakkahō (赤火砲, Red Fire Cannon) - Fires a ball of red energy at a target. - Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!
  • Hadō 32 - Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash) - Fires a wide arc of yellow energy at a target. - No incantation
  • Hadō 33 - Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down) - Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power. - Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.
  • Hadō 35 - Koumuru Raiden - Basically a more powerful version of Tsuzuri Raiden it no longer needs for the current to be transfered to an object first in order for it to come in contact with the enemy. The user calls out the incantation then a sphere of electricty will form in either hand, afterwards electricity will whip out attempting to take hold of the enemy and bind them thus shocking them with the strong current. The lightning can reach out to ten feet from where the caster stands, making this a much more effective spell then the well known Tsuzuri Raiden. - Bring them down to their knees, Oh mighty god of Lightning!
  • Hadō 41 - Geruto Oshii - The user gathers reiatsu onto an object most commonly done by gathering reiatsu onto his zanpaktou, it creates a layer around the blade of his zanpatkou then he will swing it releasing the reiatsu in the form of a powerful gust. Made of pure reiatsu and a mixture of wind, this reiatsu wind gives off a bluesih glow and can send opponents flying back it is a more powerful version of the 'Sho' spell that is commonly taught to new shinigami. - No incantation
  • Hadō 51 - Bigguban Riron - In the user's hand forms a shere the size of a baseball, appearing to be the same color as thier reiatsu. The user throws it, and it is about as faster as the caster's max speed. If it connects, it attaches itself to the target, spinning them in great vertical circles and still moving forward, making thier world spin around and make them an easy target. This Kidō can only be used twice per thread. - Here it comes, are you ready?!?! It's time... FOR THE BIG BANG THEORY!
  • Hadō 52 - Enerugīburēdo - From the users hand appears a blade made of energy, as wide as thier hand is and about 15 feet long. It can be slashed one time at the enemy at a distance. If it hits, the skin connected will feel as if it is on fire. The sword is physical and dissapates after being swung. - Burning Blade, I call for you aid! Cut down the walls that have been made!
  • Hadō 53 - Mizu no Funshutsu - The user points at a spot on the ground. Suddenly, any water under the ground shoots up through the ground, moving through the air in a connected shape and as fast as a bullet. The caster moves his palm to the destination, then clenches his fist. The water shoots out in 8 directions, all around and up and down as well, about 10 feet out. Each tendril is sharp and powerful enough to cut through 10 sheets of steel with ease. - The sea and the ocean, lend me your strength! Rise up, and destroy that which opposes the earth!
  • Hadō 54 - Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames) - Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact. - No incantation
  • Hadō 55 - Kazaguruma o Suraisu Suru - The caster aims his palm at the enemy, and a red dot appears on thier body part after a few moments. In the caster's hand appears a reiatsu construct in the shape of a 4 curve bladed weapon in the shape of a star. It is meant ot be thrown at the enemy, and it homes in on the red dot that is now on them. It doesn't stop until it either cuts the spot twice, is deflected and cuts once, or is completely destroyed by another weapon. - Swinging Blade, take of your bounty! Take off those who are full in entity!
  • Hadō 56 - Burakkusupaia - The caster's palm reflects a black energy, then pushes it out, creating a spire. It is about 2 feet in diameter on it's base and it's tip could cut on the molecular level. It is 3 feet long from tip to base. When it fires it moves about 70 mph at the target. It movees in only a stragiht line. When it hits the enemy, it lodges in, shrinking into them. Then it spears them again from the inside perpendicular to how it entered. This may only be used 3 times per thread, with a 3 post cool down. - Spear through them, and let them feel pain! From all sides their misery will rain!
  • Hadō 57 - Jibun no Panchi - A great fist shape construct of reiatsu appears from the ground where the user's hand is pointing. From the spot glows the color of their reiatsu, and then from the spot fires the fist. It flies up, uppercutting the target in the jaw. It has no homing, so is best used as a suprise attack on people on the ground. - From the surface, rise! Strike to the heavens those who wish only to fall!
  • Hadō 58 - Tenran (闐嵐, Orchid Sky) - A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target. - No incantation
  • Hadō 59 - Bakuhatsu-ha - Fires a great cannon of reiatsu energy at the opponent it the shape of a cube. The size is effected entirely for the skill of each character and is different for everyone. However, when it hits it's opponent, it explodes and knocks them back a ways. It can deal burning damage as well as temporarily stun the enemy, as it is extremely loud upon contact, being able to knock out a human's hearing for weeks. - Great Power, Form in my hand! Blow them away, and run them astray!
  • Hadō 60 - Taihou - This spell is highly costly in reiatsu, and is more suited for the skilled shinigami, perferrably with Bankai. A benign, brightly glowing red beam emits from the user's palm, the ray being as fat as the user's hand, and easy to discern, especially in darkness. dictating the destination of the attack for 3 seconds. The "targeting" beam can be moved around by moving the palm. After the three seconds are up, the beam goes from a rich crimson to a bright white, while expanding in radius by one foot. The spot that the white ray hits shall explode, the minimum being an equivalent to 1 Kiloton of dynamite. The exposion itself will be shaped like a crimson dome, rapidly expanding before it fades away. The minumum range being 12 meters in diameter. Anything that gets caught inside of the blast will be exposed to extreme amounts of searing energy. Anyone who is nearby will be flung into the air, while suffering lesser buns from being nearby the attack. The ray has a total lifespan of 4 seconds, 3 when red, and one when white. Although it's lifespan is relatively short, it leaves a destructive blast, and gives the opponent time to get out of the way. - In this dire time of need call upon the piecing gaze of the dragon.
    With a single stare from its hue brings about great destruction.

  • Hadō 63 - Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Sear) - Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target. - Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!
  • Hadō 71 - Suihou - A white, rubbery cube form out of the user's hand upon being casted. The size of the cube always small enough to be held with one hand, like some sort of grenade. The cube is then thown at the enemy. The very instant is comes into contact, the cube will then detonate, sending bits and pieces of white foam flying in every direction. The foam is extrememly irritating, and will leave highly itchy rashes upon contact with the skin. The foam can easily be burned by fire, and can shrink in size with the use of ice or cooling. This irritating sensation lasts even after the foam is removed from the skin. This effect lasts for five posts before the itching stops. The quantitity of foam, as how far the foam travels can increase with the use of more reiatsu. - FOOOMUUUUUU!!!
  • Hadō 72 - Chimeiteki - Upon pointing at the desired spot after incantation, a thin ray of luminous, red light will shine from the sky down onto the pointed spot, the ray being as thin as a pencil. This ray is benign, and lasts for one post. After one post, the ray will rapidly expand in size, the minumum size of the expanded ray being 25 meters in diameter. The ray becomes extremely deadly, and will vaporise anything that ends up inside of it. This is especially effective against cold/ice type users, but is less effective on heat/fire type users. This isn't the only thing that happens upon the expansion of the ray. A large shockwave of searing red energy will be unleashed from the circumfrence of the lazer, the shockwave towering ten feet tall minimum. The wave surges outwards for approximately one mile in radius before it expires. The wave is dense and strong, being able to crash into strong and durable objects like a train at full speed. The wave is capeable of blasting anyone it hits (including the one who casted the Kidō) into the air, exposing them to exreme heat. - Oh mighty seraphim, in the heavens high above
    Shine your divine ray down to the earth, bringing forth justice through destruction.

  • Hadō 73 - Sōren Sōkatsui (双蓮蒼火墜, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) - Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety. - Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.
  • Hadō 88 - Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (飛竜撃賊震天雷砲, Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon) - Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy resulting in a truly enormous explosion. - No incantation
  • Hadō 90 - Kurohitsugi (黒棺, Black Coffin) - Envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe. - Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness
  • Hadō 91 - Senjū Kōten Taihō (千手皎天汰炮, Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven Culling-Sear) - Summons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating. - Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired!
  • Hadō 92 - Inshō-Tekina Tsuki - The user first creates a circle above and under the enemy, then a sheild would surround the enemy within 50 meters wide to prevent the explosion from harming others.The user can let the sheild unused when using the Hadō.After that, 6 chains made of light would wrap around the enemy arms, legs and the head each to prevent the enemy from moving. Then, a black hole would appear all around the enemy and fire off thousands of spears towards the enemy.The circle that was above and below the enemy would also fire off a gigantic blast of lightning at fast speed, making it to be fired before the enemy could even react.This results a massive damage and an enormous explosion [Including the user is harmed if the sheild wasn't used].An extremely powerful Kidō used by master user only.The cool down would be none, and the use would be once per thread due its massive power.Also, it takes about 1/2 post to have the Kidō completed and ready to fire. - The Great Moon, shining beyond the eyes of the enemy, when the light strikes down.The shine disturbs the peace, as the strike would lead down to the great path of quietness and peace.
  • Hadō 96 - Ittō Kasō (一刀火葬, Single Blade Cremation) - A forbidden spell used by Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto. It is a spell that causes a huge pillar of fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a katana's tip. - No incantation

  • Fushibi (伏火, Ambush Flare) - Momo Hinamori uses this spell in conjunction with Shakkahō and a Kidō net that has entangled her opponents resulting in a large explosion around them all.

  • Gaki Rekkō (牙気裂光, Raging Light Fang) - A spell that makes a circle of energy, before firing blasts of green light from its center in a cage-like formation.
  • Hyōga Seiran (氷河晴嵐, Glacier Vapor Storm) - A spell that fires a massive wave of ice capable of freezing its targets and surrounding area.
  • Jūgeki Byakurai (Kaizō Kidō) (重撃白雷 (改造鬼道), "Heavy-Strike Pale Lightning (Modified Kidō)") - A modified version of the #4. Hadō spell Byakurai. This spell, unlike its unmodified counterpart, takes the appearance of a red beam that is powerful enough to shoot right through a foe.
  • Jikanteishi (時間停止, Temporal Stasis) - A forbidden spell used by Tessai along with Spatial Displacement. It is a spell that halts time in a specific area.
  • Kūkanten'i (空間転位, Spatial Displacement) - A forbidden spell used by Tessai with Temporal Stasis to teleport a specified portion of space from one point to another, transporting even other active Kidō spells.
  • Sentan Hakuja (千反白蛇, "Thousand-Coil White Snake") - A spell that teleports a group of people from one place to another.



B A R R I E R S / S E A L S


  • Kyōmon (鏡門, Mirror Door) - It creates a glass-like barrier which is difficult to break from the outside, but quite simple to break from the inside.
  • Millon Escudo (ミジョン・エスクド, Mijon Esukūdo; "Million Shield") - It is a powerful barrier which can be placed upon a part of the body and it activates when an attack reaches the point where it is cast. When the attack hits the barrier, a hexagonal shape appears.
  • Goyōgai (五養蓋, "Five Support Cover") - This technique creates a pentagonal barrier that is used for stabilization of whatever is inside it.
  • Fūsatsu Kakei (封殺火刑, "Seal Slaying-Fire Penance) - A pair of handcuffs appears on the target's palms, blocking his/her Reiatsu and then using it to explode.
  • Kyūjūrokkei Kakafūmetsu (九十六京火架封滅, "Ninety-Six Capitol Fire-Suspended Seal Destruction") - . It activates on its own when the target is weakened, piercing them from the inside out with several sword-shaped beams of light, which then merge into a single, vaguely star-shaped barrier, with the target sealed inside.
