Well everything was going so well until somebody decided the best course of action would be to drop a building on everyones heads. Give a medal to whoever it was that gave him that idea because as far as Rola could tell, everyone wa safe apart from one man of which was that dude with the big ass sword that seemed to go splat when the building hit him even though he was charmed by some kind of magical aura that prevented the others from taking any damage. Regardless, maybe it was intentional so these two could take over the operation because they saw their so called 'leader' wasn't up to the task.

Rola decided the best course of action now, was to wait and see what everyone else did. His sensing ability was enough to gauge where everyone was at the time and what potential threats they might impose. The most frightening would be this man who had just released his powers. Very peculiar as it didn't feel like a shinigami so Rola wasn't entirely certain on what he was facing. Regardless, the mans move was made once the shadowy figure leapt forwards to attack. See, the issue Rola had with this, was just how stupid the attack was. Quick! Attack the man with a gigantic mechanical being and hope everything goes alright. in fact, do it from the front so he can see you do it!

Rola obviously decided to shunpo upwards into the air. he hovered there for a moment where the shadow would swing its lovely scythe thing beneath him, several feet away. Rola would then twist his body so his head was now facing down and reached out with his arms. Pulling the trigger of both guns, he fired several bullets down like a rainstorm onto the shadow before flipping back round to land on...

...Yes! Brethendil the mech had moved in for the kill. The gigantic humanoid machine took three steps forward where the fourth would be a gargantuan stomp on top of the shadows head. The shadow would be up to about the mechs knee, but this stomp would feel like a building had fallen on your face... again. That, and the mechanoid waited for a moment, as Rola kicked off its back to land safely behind the mech to use it as a covering shield. Brethendil, which was the mechanoids name, sensing tat Rola had gotten off safely began to roar an oddly lion-like roar and the sound of engines echoed all around. The creatures body suddenly ignited into flames, burning all standing within a metre or so of it in a spinning rage of fire.

But that's not all! Rola ran around the mechanical masterpiece, holding his guns out and firing towards what must have been the original. He opened fire, releasing a flurry of bullets in his direction, each one feeling no different to a human pistol firing at machine gun speeds. But then again, each successful shot would start to hurt more and more until a single bullet feels like sticking your head in a human pencil sharpener. Brethendil too was not finsihed yet as it raised its long pickaxe shaped pole-arm and swung it horizontally, spraying its own volley of bullets towards the original man before stepping off where the shadow would have splatted and slamming the weapon down even harder on top of it.

Well, that's if it didn't dodge.

I thought I made it out whole
But I was just a broken nutcracker
It seemed like in general, the girl was considered not even a threat. In fact, the worst she had incurred? Was a few measly barriers around her. A trap, that would've worked if Alice was in fact, still Iramasha in nature. That was the flaw in all things; her very spiritual concepts were gone, as the girl just walked up to the barrier. Her head tilted, her eyes flashing a yellow, as she just let out a tiny smile. 'The jewel on here forehead glowed, as a sweeping blue light covered the dome, allowing her to analyze it's structure. The girl let her eyes slowly blink, and then let out a tiny giggle. It was weak; this barrier, this man was very weak. With just a though, she could easily dispense some pain towards him; with her body, she just flickered. Why? Because she had just preformed Soul Dash; a human based ability, that allowed her to slip out of the slow building structure that the male was making. She didn't feel like bothering to wait until it was built, to shatter his pride. It didn't matter; Alice just felt relatively impassive, and maybe a bit insulted, that he was the only one going towards her. Everyone else had everything covered; so the girl could just sit back and gather information. But she had a bad feeling.. Caveman wouldn't be suppressed as easy as that, she knew that much. There was definitely something about him that worried her, as the girl just kept moving, preventing the shields to actually form around her, as she would constantly glide away the second they seemed to catch up. More or less jerking them on a chain to say the least. But the girl felt.. lack luster. As if there wasn't much to do, much to say or want.

It was kinda boring.

But even though it was boring, something speared inside of Alice's heart; it sunk into her mind, and she realized it. This was HER mortal enemy, no matter what the other girl thought; the white haired loli let her body speed forward, the shields chasing after her. There was no submission; only death, as Alice took off from the ground, hitting the skies. As she was chased? The girl turned, and opened her mouth, chomping the shields into her mouth. Flipping, she breathed in air, and then opened her mouth. If anyone could see in the girl's mouth, they would see a dragon's head within a circle glow. And that's when the beam of condensed energy shot out; it flew towards her enemy, Caveman, being surpressed by the other female's technique. In fact, the beam took out most of the things surrounding the pillar, as she landed on the ground, saliva dripping from her mouth in a fountain. Slightly opening her mouth, the drool flooded in waves, sneaking under the rocks, aiming to slip into the rocks. In fact, the second this drool touched anything spiritual, they would feel pain, as if they had been dripped into acid. So in a way, this drool would eat energy; and once it made a hole in the other girl's technique, it would attack Caveman's energy directly, regardless of him being human. The girl closed her mouth after a few moments, turning her gaze towards the other two antagonists, regardless of them being taken care of. But then her gaze went back to Caveman's location; her focus was intense, as she waited to see what her enemy would do.

Savant - Red Shield

The treble and bass sounded through the area, cracks and explosions that lost their ardor against Nozomi from this distance. It was not unlike the shellshock of war occurring around her from all corners and edges of the city—The Shadow Fall's forces were causing an excessive amount of damage to the city they were trying to annex. Then again, it was unlikely that the human architecture that she had marveled not too long ago would be useless and obstructive for the Demon anyways. None of this was her concern: Her current concern was the fight before her, as she watched the skirmish occur down below. The sleeves of her outstretched arms flapped in the high-altitude winds, distinctly louder than any of the noise that was coming from the somewhat distant battle now. Previously, Nozomi had relocated to the roof of a nearby building that had managed to stay standing amongst the chaos, and she took to long distance attacks against her foes. They did not have tracers or blatant indicators as to their origins, thus, when they were executed, not a face was even turned in her direction as a result. None of the combatants even bothered to look for her, and thus her location remained unknown. It was another way of saying that she was safe from counter-attacks, which was a mistake on her opponents' parts. The darkness creeped over the iris of her eye, a signal that marked the return of all of her powers; it was a shame that the temporary weakness could not be capitalized on... for her enemies. For now, the blue-haired woman closed her eyes by the end of her assault, and the next time she opened them they would have been completely overtaken by the telltale black void of the Omnidou eyes.

Suddenly a flux of awareness came about Nozomi, once again bringing light to all events occurring around her. Given that she was not the immediate target of an attack, she had the opportunity to just absorb information for the time being, and that included the subtle encroachment of an extremely hostile substance. Nozomi's eyes shot wide open in shock, and her thoughts were unhesitatingly averse to this alteration, aberration, variable. It's mere approach was unnacceptable, and a clear indicator that the fights in other parts of the city were failing. Despite all of the opposition against Mana and her subordinates, they could not stop her. The least Nozomi would have expected was to stop the Demon's interference of battles in other parts of the city, but such preconceptions would prove foolish. With a grimace, she analyzed the properties and percussions of this sub-molecular particle, but the effects were quite clear at their origin. The metal and concrete of the city were being transmuted into a currently unknown liquid, while those under Mana's command grew abnormally in power as a direct inverse to the power it took away from others. Compared to that, the battle here was but a petty squabble. Such chaos could not be introduced into this situation, as it was simply, unerringly unacceptable. Nozomi's hand would be forced, and for the first time she would be pushed a little to make things happen.

Her attack on Yako had failed, but given she had more important things to attend to, she did not persist. The stones she had once used as projectiles now dropped to the ground inanimate as they truly were. The hands of debris reverted back to naught but dust, losing their form and falling to the ground. And Caveman, who showed once again the pointlessness of calculations against a being who defied reality, would be able to make his way to the top more easily now as the intense gravity simply lifted. Nozomi's arms did not drop, however, as if anything the surge of her power would increase. Her Onikagahi—her dark spiritual power that was now flooding through the area in thick concentrations—it would answer to the woman's beckons as it moved to her direction. It rushed away from the battle and to the outskirts of it, surrounding the area like a forcefield. The sheer density of the Onikagahi warped the space it occupied; suffocating, overwhelming power. And with the clap of Nozomi's hands, their world was covered in a blanket of darkness. The atmosphere immediately shifted as the area was enclosed in this otherworldly nightfall, becoming cold and brooding. It was like an eclipse had overcome them, as the sun's light could not even reach them... and yet the dimness proved that there was at least some light; a strange eerie light. Take a closer look, and once could see that it wasn't simply darkness that had surrounded them, but a void. It was a turbulent and dark space that most would recognize as the world of the garganta, warped in a dome around them. So too, did it encompass the subterranea, completely and effectively isolating this area where the Kuala Lumpur City Hall once stood, from the rest of the Capital. Outside, any of thoe foreign particles that tried to pass through this warped rift would merely travel into a disconnected space of the dimension, and would not reach their current position in millenia.

This isolation created a controlled environment, Nozomi's specialty. She did not smile, nor smirk, but deep down the woman's pleasure at preserving this area was present. Those innocents once ago rescued by the 'heroes' of this fight would be trapped inside, but it would be the better for them to keep away from the gross fate that occurred to all those unfortunate to be out there under Mana's jurisdiction; not that Nozomi cared the least bit about their fate. Now, the woman was free to drop her arms as the task was completed, saving her a hell of a lot of inconvenience at the sacrifice of some of her quickly replenishing and relatively infinite energy reserves. Yes, Nozomi had noticed the device within Sir Talks-A-Lot that was injecting raw power into his body from an alternate realm, which was an intriguing note in her observations. The reason it drew her attention was because its nature was incredibly similar to her Excore. For all intents and purposes, the two anomalies served the same purpose—her own was simply superior in its enigmatic nature. In the end, it brought the woman an endless supply of spiritual supply, where the only limits were just how much could be transferred through the core at one time. She figured his device acted in much the same way... and that was the exact reason she chose to ignore him at any possible instance. 'Tinsel Bitch', the grimly healer, and his superior 'The Caveman' were both on normal supplies. They could be worn down, broken, and taken out much faster in the long run. Hell... she was already getting close.

A flashback occurred within the woman's mind, from not too long ago. In perfect detail she replayed the event, showing a rather sudden attack upon the lax figure of the one known as 'Tinsel Bitch'. The brown-haired male was still for the most part, writing in his personal notebook about the various details of the innocents within the City Hall as they were captive. He had his back turned to the disturbance that appeared behind him, barely suspecting of the high-speed projectile to follow. The rift opened, a small hole through the fabric of the Living World through which two Holy Arrows travelled through. There was a instinctual sense, resulting in an instinctual response, as the boy moved to the side just quickly enough for the arrows to miss their targets by an inch. They were incapable of severing the two pressure points that made up the entirety of a soul's power, thus failing to shut down his powers. However, they still pierced his flesh with Nozomi's energy as they perforated his body... and that was dangerous. Now, Onikagahi was a very dark and very powerful energy. It acted like a contagion, a virus that spread without biased and devoured all other energies that it came across in its path, infesting any object it could. The biggest exception was the invasion of a foreign soul, as it was the only frontier that Onikagahi could not simply enter. But it was still possible; very possible, and the success of such a thing had dangerous implications. One method, to Tinsel's misfortune, was to pierce another's flesh with her Holy Arrows.

Back to the present, Nozomi's all sight noted just how quickly the Onikagahi energy had spread within the victim's body. She didn't know if it would be noticed by the host due to the intense concentration of her energy in the air, which would make telling the difference all too hard. But perhaps he would notice the increasing rate of exhaustion he was going through as her energy ate up his. She tilted her head at the speck up in the sky, lifted by a spiritual platform; she felt that corrupt energy coursing through him, she recieved an actual tactile sense from it. She reached her hand up and could touch it... and then without mercy she balled that hand up into a fist. Instantaneously, Tinsel would feel the repercussions of the simply action, as his body crumpled up and most of his bones broke in that single second. No number of shields could stop the direct assault that came from within him, as veins ruptured and organs were pierced by his own bones. Blood would shoot out of his mouth like vomit, and excruciating pain would envelop his senses. But Nozomi did not stop there, knowing that her target was a healer. And so she issued a command to her Onikagahi energy to eat him alive with a wave of her hand, and it obeyed. From his stomach outward, he would begin to simply dissolve, burning away his spiritual and physical self at an agonizingly slow rate. He would have never known pain until now, for it would become all that he knew.

Until a thought invaded his mind.

It spoke to him, in time frozen. Time still within his consciousness, pain stopped. "You are a medic, a doctor, a nurse. You could serve in a hospital and save lives no other man or woman possibly could, and yet you are on the side of the battlefield that is murdering millions. How many lives have you saved, in actuality, compared to the deaths your people have caused?" The voice was recognizable as Nozomi's, if the boy had had the chance to commit it to memory. The blue-haired woman was there, speaking directly into his mind and for not another's ears. No, she wasn't invading or stealing his thoughts, but she could communicate with him. "Has committing these actions, living amongst these types... brought you peace, happiness, contentness? Have you gained anything?" The voice persisted, clearly wanting answers, and yet at the same time not. It wasn't the answers themselves she wanted, but rather the opportunity to make him see something. What that something was only Nozomi knew, but she pressed the matter with a tentative touch. They could have a mental conversation together as one-on-one, where the woman presented him with a chance at redemption. But he could also just as easily leave this last haven and return to the agony of reality where his body was slowly slowly burning. It was his choice.

No doubt, the medic's allies would wish to stop the deliberate process from completing, but it wold not be easy on them. They had not spared the least bit of effort in locating the woman before, and thus it was an choice they would suffer for. Nozomi would no longer be obviously standing in plain sight anymore, as she lied herself down flat on the roof for this conversation. That, along with the Cimmerian shade that persisted every inch of this area would render searching with eyesight difficult. Then there were those who wished to sense by tracking spiritual power—they would attempt to lock on to Nozomi's energy signature... and then realize that her energy was everywhere. The Onikagahi, which did not idly sit within the woman's humble frame, would actually flow through the air and the ground and the buildings in every direction, like a thick fog. Nozomi herself would not be using any immense powers at the moment, and so locating her within this would prove near impossible. It was practically utopia when one thought of everything, wasn't it?

[Nozomi is exiting because the topic has come to complete standstill, and Frost is about to conclude the event as a whole soon anyways.]

Having saved the hostages, Micheal continues to assure the safety of the hostages as they fled from the Malaysian Capital City. He was treated as a hero among the hostages as a small portion of Malaysia now has a more positive view of the Soul Society and its military force, Gotei 13. For the effort of saving a lot of lives, Micheal Karondai will soon be awarded by his superiors.

"I took roleplaying and storytelling with a live-and-let-live attitude, thus the idea of a character doing something out-of-character would add more to the character than letting it stagnate into an archetype or a character. Here: A rapid change to a character must be met with an in-the-moment conflict. Ta-da! A rule to live by!"
