• Appearance Description: Samantha looks younger then her actual age, and appears to be between the ages of eighteen and twenty. She is average in height as well as weight. Neck length vibrant blue hair flows around her face, her eyes a deep blue, but a more flat color, giving her a calculating look. Her clothing changes a lot, but certain things stay the same. She always wears a knee length skirt along with a short sleeve shirt, though the specific skirt and shirt change very often. She always wear the same necklace around her neck, a gold chain with a metal piece on it, a silver circle with a five pointed star on it.

Personality

• Personality:
Magic is a powerful thing, but those with power must be careful where they tread, so as not to crush those weaker under their heel

Samantha is usually calm, and very much a thinker. She is kind to random strangers, and greets people with a smile. Despite all this, she has a very clear cut definition of good and evil. She deems only three acts as evil, and has a great disgust for those who tread on them. First, if something is done to someone that harms them and they did not agree to it, it is evil to her. Second, if something is done that has the possibility to harm them and is done without the knowledge of the person, it is evil to her. Third, to betray a friend is the most evil of sins in her mind, though she does not judge people outside of her friends on this. She has a very different attitude towards people she sees as acting evil, and is often very cold towards them. This is amplified when supernatural abilities are being used, and she will often attempt to kill such a person.

On the other side, she really enjoys the company of those who go out of their way to help others, and it is only these people she will consider friends. While she may not be affiliated with any organization yet, her loyalty to her friends is the one absolute to her, and she sees it as the ultimate sin to betray a friend.

Natural Attributes & Supernatural Powers

• Natural Attributes:
Healing Factor: wizards heal not only faster then usual humans, but also better. While a wound would leave some form of scarring on a human, never perfectly fixing itself, wizards heal perfectly, no scar tissue, nothing, returning perfectly to how it was before being injured.

Aging: Wizards age slower then other people, and also tend to live much longer then normal humans.

• Powers:
"Focus your intentions, will them to be, believe it will happen, for to your intentions reality will bend"

Wizardry: Samantha is a wizard, a human who can use their will and energy to make reality bend the way they want. Doing so isn't easy though, you must know perfectly what you want, believe that it will happen, and have enough will power behind it. For a wizard, belief comes naturally, but doing the other two at the same time is extremely difficult.

Due to this, wizards create spells, words that to them mean the same as the intention. They assign the intent to a nonsense word or string of words, and that word replaces the intent. In addition, wizards often use focuses, items meant to help them channel their abilities.

Just like humans in the workforce, wizards have things that they are better or worse at. Samantha may have a huge amount of power, but she does not have the fine control that is necessary for some magic. As such she cannot use illusion magic and such, and is mostly limited to evocation, calling up the forces of nature to do her bidding.

Magic has a few traits that make wizards unique when compared to other spiritual humans. The first is, magic is all encompassing, a wizard is only limited in what they can do by the spells they create. This is because magic is a complex study that allows the practitioner to manipulate reality in any way. This is also a weakness for practitioners, because it means their spells take a larger toll on them then most other users, and even with the intent being empowered on to some words.

• Pure Abilities:
Spells: This is going to be a list of all spells Samantha knows. More spells may be added, but this requires Samantha to go through a ritual to associate the intent with the wording. Samantha's focus is the amulet on her necklace (the circle), and without it, her spells are much weaker.

»ventas terra: Levitates pebbles or other small earthen objects not more then 1.5 inches in diameter, and causes them to be flung at high speeds a few moments later.

»terra garda: Creates a levitating shield of strengthened earth nearby. It is just as strong as steel, but falls apart after a short period of time.

»terra prison: *Can only be used while the target is standing on natural ground (can't use it on a highway, in a subway, etc) and has no effect without her focus* Causes the earth to rise up around the target, encasing them in a cement like mud, with the exception of the target's head. Over a short time, the mud solidifies over the target, and is equivalent to set cement.

»terra knight: *No effect without her focus and Samantha must touch the target plant.* Animates a nearby plant, causing it to attempt to entangle a single target in it's branches, roots, vines, or other parts capable of entangling a being.

Background History

• Background:

Samantha was actually born Sam Teller, a scrawny, blue haired boy. He was strange though, he never wanted to go outside and play with the other boys, preferring to stay inside and play by himself. As he got older, and he started to express more feminine tendencies, strife between him and his parents, very religious folks, started to cause issues, which quickly caused him to spend basically his whole day at his uncles place. His uncle was very understanding of him, but sadly could not do anything for him.

As Sam entered his teenage years, he started to notice the changes in both the males and females around him. To his horror, he was changing like the rest of the males, no matter what he did. He started going to bed, his mind just wishing, wishing as hard as he could that he would wake up as a girl.

A few months after his sixteenth birthday, Sam woke up one morning to find that he was now she. Somehow, overnight the body he was inhabiting had strangely turned in to that of a females. To his dismay, his parents were not happy. Though he could not figure out how it had happened, his parents thought he had done something. They kicked him out, refusing to let him back in.

Sam then went to live with her uncle, and was renamed Samantha. After the problems with her parents, she didn't want anything to do with them, and so changed her last name to Astraly. Over the next few months strange things seemed to happen to Samantha. Things she wished for when angry, or otherwise very emotional seemed to happen. Confusion and fear spread over her, and she started to get extremely depressed. After a bit, she got up the nerve to tell her uncle, who comforted her, and explained to her that this was because she someone who could do magic, as was he.

Her uncle started to teach her wizardry, and as she progressed she gained more control of her abilities. Her uncle didn't stop at teaching her how to use magic, he made sure to instill in her the value of life. When she turned twenty four, her uncle told her he would have to leave her. He wouldn't tell her anything, but he left all his possessions to her, and during the night he disappeared.

Could you add size of rocks shes able to move please! Just to clarify that you can move a rock size of grand canyon and hit your opponent with it! I would suggest creating a scaling factor so the higher your characters tier the heavier rock she can levitate!

Please keep in mind, any spells she can use will have to be made later on as you cant really generalize as any thing can be made in that way!

As far as I am concerned that's all I see that needs changing all though I will read through this once you finish (:

Ho'kay, I'm going to be moving this into WIP on request with Tina. She is going to be converting her human into a Supernatural Human, but she'll still have permission to keep up with any social/casual threads she is in at the moment. Fight threads may proceed, but only with how her app is now. Any new fights with this character cannot occur.

Okay, I'm done with the edits, having just moved all the information from the old template to the new template, then adding some abilities that don't really matter in threads. I do want to share a few worries I have now after looking over my character, in hopes you can tell me how you justify my character.

Samantha's power, in a nutshell, is reality manipulation. The only real limits on it is that she

A. must have made the spell IC in a previous thread,

and

B. She cannot do anything outside of evocation, calling about energy and harnessing it to her will.

Maybe I'm afraid I'll go too far with it, but I just feel like I may have created a character who might end up with no real restrictions, and I'm worried about that. Maybe I'm just trying to see this one way, and am thinking too much in to it, I dunno. Hopefully I'm wrong though...

Samantha was on her home from hanging out with a friend, she liked to be with friends. Ever since her uncle left her she has been rather lonely. It was a sad looking day, well the sun wasn't out and there were storm clouds beginning to roll in. There was also a breeze that made it almost cold, but not to bad where you had to get a coat.

Sam rounded a corner and found herself in a long dark alley, it was a dead end and there was a dumpster against the right wall other than that it was bear. well except for the people. Sam counted 4 all together. although she could tell that there was something going down. three of them were male and they all had roughly the same look. They all wore Black leather jackets that had a symbol of a bear on it. 'Bear? must be some gang' sam thought to her self as she looked at them a little more. one of them had a red stripe on his jacket and the others didn't. at first sam didnt know why but than she realized that it must be a system of leadership. She than looked at the 4th person in the group, she was female and poorly dressed at that. it was obvious that she was scared. The man with the red stripe walked towards her "hey honney why dont you come a little closer?" he laughed with an evil laugh and pointed at her "get her boys!"

The girl took off as fast as she could running for her life towards Sam. "Run! don't let them get you" the girl screamed as she ran past Sam. Sam didn't move tho, Sam wasn't the type of person that would just walk away after seeing the way these men acted. "stop!" Sam yelled as she stood her ground in front of them. "who are you!" on of the boys yelled seeping forward. "well who ever she is, she will work just fine! hahahaha" the boys all walked up together preparing to do the unspeakable.
Samantha smiled, she Grabbed onto her amulet and focused. "ventas terra" suddenly the ground took a slight shake as pebbles begin to lift all around sammantha. "what is this!" the leader of the group yelled.
"you were going to force your selfs on her, your nothing but barbarians!" the pebbles shot at the men at high speeds ripping though their leather and a some of them passed into skin. The boys yelled in pain and coward-ed on to the ground. finally after all the pebbles stopped Samantha began to turn away when "You bitch!" Sam narrowed her eyes and looked back, she saw that the leader was pointed a gun right at her. Sam quickley grabbed her amulet and drew her focus. Just as the man shot his gun she yelled "terra garda!" The Bullets hit pointlessly at the hard rock that rose to protect Sam. The bullets stopped after Sam herd the clicking of the gun. "Dammit!" the man yelled in anger and shock. The Barrier began to fall away And Sam could see the men again. Although the men were injured they could still walk and they all started to walk to her. "terra prison" The man in the lead looked down in shock as he saw the mud begin to wrap around him. "ahh get off me" he tried to get free of the mud but it was of no use, he was wrapped all the way around and all that was left was his head. The other two jumped back in shock and fear as they wacthed there leader get encased. "terra prison" Sam said the words once more as another one of the men began to get encased . The last one backed up in fear and ran for his life. but since it was a dead end he couldint escape. "terra prison" Sam said one last time as the last member was encassed. "you will never again hurt or force your selfs upon a innocent person!" she Grabbed her amulet and gatthered everything she had left. she targeted their heads. "ventas terra!"
