“I DID rely on my other powers more than you”, Tento raised his right hand with blade. His spiritual energy gathered in a wordless incantation. “It was me overthinking challenges and not a unity. Weakness. As much as I hate to say it, his power is mine just as yours is. I need balance between us all to be full”, in a moment of seriousness he let a little of his goofy side show in a light smirk. “But you need to stop getting mad at me for using kido so much”.
In a sudden slash that moved quietly and silently as if muffled by the wind. Tento used Hadō #78. Zangerin and let out a large amount of energy flew from Tento's Zanpakuto blade in a sickle slice blasting outward after being rapidly built up exploding out in a blinding light alteration to its kido structure that overshadowed the large lion's and hawk's figures. Enveloping their defensive wind like a rainfill.
As soon as the light energy left the blade, Tento crouched low and sliced at the ground. Flucking dirt and dust up in a storm that swept through the battle field. The violent eruption shattered the standing building behind Shiōmaru. Catching the two despite their best attempts to evade. Airborne, their smoking and blackened body flew as a swirl of wind gathered in their mouths before being shot into the ground below.

The veil of smoke and bended light seemed to have worked. Their location was distorted and unknown from the hollows actions. But it seemed both that, that fact would not matter, and there was a misunderstanding from Tento's end. With his feather set in place and incantation almost completed, Ranma busted out from the red smoke. And the elevation of the hollow, Tento felt that things were about to get a bit…pressed.
And so he shunpoed, using a burst of speed to greatly increase his distance from his previous position from below. Aiming to still use the bent light to hide his energy and movement as he appeared behind the eye as it charged its Cero. And upon releasing his kido spell while the hollow shot loose its widening cero that threatened to evoke the lower sky in a red Mars hue, Tento's voice would be heard as his blade moved, “Hadō #78, Zangerin!”.
A large and frightening condensed amount of energy would shoot out from Shiōmaru as Tento slashed from behind, steel and energy blasting out in an echo as a yellow spinning circular slash with enough power to easily destroy a building, would hopefully, crash into the Hollow’s back before threatening to push it further below. Crashing into the area the feather was placed. A wavering tornado gust of wind threatening to be unleashed around it if it stumbled into the placed trap.
While this hopefully happened. Tento let Shiōmaru come back into a twirl. His frame overhead, eyes bearing down at the hollow while mentally he tried to get a feel out for Ranma's spiritual energ. A moment of concern flashing across his face for his fellow Shinigami's state of being.

On the upswing, after releasing the blast of fire from Ōkasen, Mizu swiftly replicated the spell her opponent cast and opted to also hold the energy along her Zanpakuto. Instead of using it for unabated offense though, seeing Erika suddenly launch forward at her made Mizu aim for a different strategy. She drew the energy from Zangerin from her Zanpakuto and into her Sei-kotsu Sōkō-made armor, causing the plates of energy covering her to glow a brilliant yellow. With their energies clashing, a rainbow of spiritual sparks would fly in every direction from Erika's sword striking Mizu's armor.
When her armor stopped glowing, a tremendous crack along her side could be clearly seen, revealing even empowered it couldn't take Erika's strike unharmed. Knowing she couldn't just idly stand there while she waits for Erika to attack again, Mizu spun in place, already casting her next spell before coming to face her target "Hadō #58: Tenran - Apply Wind!" From her Zanpakuto a funnel twister quickly shot across to Erika. Enhanced by Genso Kakusan, the wind would be like a flurry of blades capable of shredding things to bits like a blender.

Can't catch me off guard that easily! Having previously fought Solomon in the Seaside Fight Night Arena, his electric pillars were of no distraction to Mizu. Nor was Lukas too quick for her to follow as he tried flanking her, even with a bit of smoke in the air. She followed Lukas's movements with her raised hands, and when it became clear he planned on lunging at her she spoke another spell's name "Bakudō #9: Hōrin!"
If Lukas and Solomon were familiar with the many Kidō spells available to Shinigami, they may be just as surprised as Tento at the plain Kidō barrier that formed instead of energy tendrils. What Lukas wouldn't know is upon being struck, the barrier would unleash Hōrin tendrils which would immediately seek to wrap tightly around him. Whether the Quincy inadvertently set the trap spell off or not, Mizu proceeded to draw and swing her Zanpakuto while dodging backwards, uttering the words "Hadō #78: Zangerin - Apply Fire!" as she did, causing a an arc of energy enveloped in flames to launch from her weapon in Lukas's direction.

In retrospect perhaps Hyosuke should have humored the younger Shinigami and unveiled his Shikai. If he had he would have been all too keenly aware of how Igen's focus changed based solely on the more pronounced thumping of his heart. As things stood it wasn't until Igen first spoke that Hyosuke could tell he was hinting at his energy hitting it's peak and he nodded, but did not for a moment expect Igen to call it quits here, no, rather he too prepared himself for the final assault of their bout.
Amusing thought it may look Hyosuke took a traditional quick-draw stance with an umbrella at his hip in place of a sword. Benicho Kogo staying closed now into a tight, somewhat blade-like compression of it's fabric, murmuring to all of himself as Hyosuke harnessed his own energy. Matching, for a moment, what he could feel swelling within Igen before he could feel Igen's energy twist and sharpen and he raised his eyes up to the ascending sheet of blood. His lips setting into a thin, tight line as his eyes narrowed. He was far and away familiar with lethal intent, or more precisely, the deadly singular focus required to achieve it with regularity. At this moment, before Igen came crashing down through the blood toward him, Hyosuke was.... determined. His lips already beginning to incant.
"Hadō #78......."
The moment Igen erupted through the thin particles of blood, and Hyosuke saw those empty eyes he himself had bore in what felt like another life he was.... insulted. Not because Igen was so intent on harming him, not because were he a student nearer to Igen's skill the attack currently racing toward him would be especially lethal, none of those things. No. What insulted, what offended Hyosuke to his core, was seeing the eyes of such a cheerful, driven young man fall into a mindset he had lived through for far too long. Had SUFFERED through for far, far too long. In that moment frozen in time, Hyosuke grit his teeth and his own expression flattened into something more serious, this crimson eyes gleaming with focused intent as his energy SURGED well beyond what Igen possessed in his entirety.
Drawing Benicho Kogo as his own lips hissed the words, Hyosuke would have just enough time to finish his incantation, just enough time to channel the energy needed that, in the moment Benicho Kogo would meet Igen's claws, the Kido sprang forth with monstrous power.
"......ZANGERIN!"
A ring of raw cutting power would join Benicho Kogo in rejecting Igen's feral assault, crimson energy flaring about Hyosuke in a thick, coagulated wave of Reiatsu. Hyosuke's piercing eyes never left Igen's as their weapons met, never left Igen's eyes as his energy flared higher and higher, further and further out of reach of the younger Shinigami to combat. Though even now, even in this moment, as Hyosuke made sure to put Igen down HARD..... he did not strain himself to his limit. He did not want to kill Igen, far from it, in his own way Hyosuke was trying to knock some sense into him. But this fact, this last chunk of withheld energy, Hyosuke would hide as best he could. He had realized now, in this moment, that perhaps Igen and he enjoyed fights in very different ways, if for no other reason than Hyosuke had grown past his own phase living in Igen's unreflecting eyes before. A living Hyosuke never wanted to experience again, and if possible, would respect Igen's wishes for a serious climax..... by beating that same mindless violence out of the younger Shinigami without hesitation.

Naturally things always happened, the sink hole was a large enough problem to deal with but this? Now this was just a problem. These insensitive hollows had no idea how problematic mass death was with the delicate balance of souls, did they? Admittedly she'd have preferred if there were more than just the group of unseated shinigami she brought along, well besides the 20th Seat but she was neither here nor there with that guy. Where were her shinigami though? Trying to handle the hollows and save individuals that were caught in the crossfire while she turned her eyes up at the colossal beast.
He was like a mountain of flesh. She had never seen a hollow this large but everything could be cleaved with enough effort, what good was she as Murasaki's vice-captain if she couldn't handle this while she oversaw the situation and took command of any further operations that would need to be taken if it got out of hand here? So Erika sighed a little bit, she had been trying to avoid using her katanakaji lately and now she had to do it against this creature.
"Damn..."
She complained to herself as she drew out her first sword. A blade that appeared completely mundane except for the fact that smoke was wisping from its length. Erika leapt towards him with shunpo, aiming to get get to about his torso with a couple of steps before going for an attack.
"Hadō #78. Zangerin!"
Through using it through the conjured sword, she released the energy as a sweeping arc to try and cut into his underbelly but with the benefit of being enhanced by her sword that had compressed the intense heat of a Haien within the blade. Plain and simple, the sword was designed to incinerate everything it cut without a trace and that same heat had been attached to her zangerin.

As the smoke cleared and her burnt foe's visage became visible Mizu was glad her scheme had turned out reasonably well. If she had to get injured in the process, well for Mizu that was just a natural consequence of battle. Now though she would have to go back to the drawing board. If Solomon got within range again she may be able to go for a repeat performance but Mizu was well aware if she tried it too much she may end up with much more severe injuries than she could handle. And so as he seemingly challenged her to show something new, she took the time to formulate a new strategy.
After a deep sigh Mizu gritted her teeth and prepared to send everything she had at this Quincy. If her next actions didn't work she would have to significantly change up how she approached this battle. First she raised her injured arm and pointed her hand in the direction of the rubble kicked up from her miscast spell which consisted of chunks of stone ranging in size from a fist to a bench, and said aloud "Hadō #57: Daichi Ten'yō!". The rubble would then float, almost telekinetically, and all be launched at Solomon's location. The precision capability of the spell would allow Mizu to have the stones follow him if he dodged.
At the same time as the stones were being flung at Solomon, Mizu was also channeling magic through her Zanpakuto. From Shousenmaru's tip she was firing consecutive Hadō #4. Byakurai's at the Quincy. These azure energy bolts were faster than the rubble and she hoped if one hit, the stones would strike their target true, and vice versa. Throughout all of this, between each cast of Byakurai, Mizu would flash step to about fifteen feet away. Her goal was to make the battlefield as chaotic as possible, and it seemed to be working.
With the area drowning in pandemonium Mizu suddenly stopped using both these spells and took advantage of the mayhem to approach the Quincy as quick as she possibly could using Flash Step. Once within range Mizu would raise her Zanpakuto, on which yellow energy was gathering, and shout the name of her true attack with a fierce, wild look on her face: "Hadō #78: Zangerin!!" By swiping her weapon in a wide arc all the gathered energy would be released in a blast more powerful than any individual spell she had used thus far. The arc of energy would widen significantly and could cause significant damage. Though she knew this would almost certainly drain her of much of her energy, Mizu did not want to keep repeating the same moves over and over until eventually collapsing out of exhaustion anyway.

Chaos, destruction, and death.
The day that he despised and hoped never would come, had. So, with a heavy sigh, Henrex stepped into the field of chaos that America had become. Drawing Yume no Jitsugen, a gift from a very...questionable source, Henrex turned the weapon to its 'brush mode', and preemptively began to draw various characters all over his body, writing out the words for "Zangerin" on his arms, legs, and back, while having a single inscription of the word "Tenran" on his chest, all with blue ink.
Hadō #78, and Hadō #58, respectively. Preparing himself for the conflict to come, the man's hand rested on his sword as he stepped through the rubble of the various toppled buildings. Admittedly a bit far behind Kuro, he began to pick up the pace, soon rocketing off at Mach speeds, using his control over the air in order to push away whatever was in his way, living or non-living. Drawing closer and closer to the familiar signature of his co-Captain, Henrex pressed onward.
Sliding to a stop next to his fellow commander, a soft smile passed over his face. For the first time, the man that had helped him reach where he was now, he was his equal, and for the first time -- they would fight side-by-side. Drawing his Zanpakuto and holding Yume no Jitsugen in his other hand, Henrex readied himself for what was to come.
The steps that he heard and the voice that came after made the Captain grimace. Turning toward the sound, Henrex stared at the golden-haired man now standing before him. Leaving his stance open, Henrex remained silent as Tsubasa declared his reasoning for standing in front of them today. The sky began to dim as thunder roared in the sky, clouds gathering and rain beginning to fall.
If he were being honest? He was disappointed.
To think that someone that used to be the Head Captain of the Gotei would stoop so low, all for the sake of searching for a family member. Looking over the area around them, Henrex knew that with Tsubasa in the way, they wouldn't be able to get far. So, tapping into the Aether Stone that Cirno crafted and bestowed to him, Henrex spread the influence of Cassiel's Confinement to the Gotei soldiers around him.
Through this, he granted them the brief ability to, in essence, phase through physical matter, rendering their bodies invisible and giving them an opportunity to get away from Tsubasa and continue their objective. So, turning back to Tsubasa, Henrex finally spoke:
"I'm giving you one chance, Tsubasa. Leave now, and you will not be harmed."

Hannah has had the Magisters aid her with tinkering on her staff, culminating in a new, much more potent weapon for Kido Enhancement. However, it requires power from an internal battery system, so it is segmented into Restraint Levels, to ensure it doesn't burn out the battery with a single use. It rests in Restraint Level 3, where it has slightly stronger Kido enhancement capabilities to the old Raging Heart. From there, it can Release Restraint to level 2, or level 1, and finally to level 0.
Level 2: The staff blossoms Reiatsu wings from the head, and the power of any Kido is increased considerably. It also increases the projectile speed of any kido fired from it, shooting faster and hitting harder, allowing for a better hit chance than normal. The battery can sustain this form for four posts, before recharging for five posts.
Level 1: The crook of the staff bends to form a spearhead, and the reiatsu wings increase in size and prominence. On top of the potency increase and speed, it also forms the kido into a sharp point, allowing it to blast through physical objects and spiritual barriers easier than a normal kido. An example of this power is allowing Kido of #78 and upwards to penetrate a Danku, rather than the usual #89. The battery can sustain this form for three posts, before recharging for five posts.
Level 0: A sub-form, Level 0 is not an actual level, but rather an enhancement. It costs three posts of battery power, and makes her Kido a lot stronger for a single shot.
