It's good to get humbled sometimes [Saera, Kanae]
Saera felt her blood begin to pump harder as Kanae cleared the area. Her senses lit on fire and the anticipation of the coming fight filled her with the kind of energy that she could only get when facing a fight that would truly challenge her, whether or not she had any chance of victory.This was going to be painful and she couldn't wait.
Saera gripped her own blade but didn't bother responding to the rhetorical question, instead drawing her own Zanpakutou with a single cry.
"Bankai, Toraware no Akumu!"
Chains shot out of her form, obscuring her before shattering and melting into a bubbling black pool of foul liquid erupted to spread across the ground as a Titanic statue of Toraware no Akumu herself erupted from the center. Chains began whipping across the surface of the liquid as Saera raised cast one arm out towards Kanae.
"Bakudo number 79 Kuyō Shibari!"
Saera didn't wait for the black holes to finish materializing, she didn't expect this to really catch her Captain but knew she'd be an idiot to not use any resources she had, and flash stepped towards her Captain into a momentum heavy spinning strike with the intent to grip her with the head of her mancatcher and slam her into the pool of whipping chains.

Bakudō #79. Kuyō Shibari: The practitioner creates eight black holes with purple outlines which emit spiritual energy in the space surrounding the target, with the ninth black hole manifesting itself in the center of the target's chest, with the intention of immobilizing the target.
Prison Pool: The pool forms up to a 90 foot (100 at elite, 120 at master+) radius around the figure of Toraware no Akumu, and will only form on a solid surface. Black chains constantly form and whip violently about the surface, and any being that touches the liquid will have chains lash out and cuff one of their appendages. This chain will not hinder their movement, leading back to the pool and continuing to generate as the victim moves. If they get four chains attached at once however they will be considered Toraware no Akumu's prisoner, and will suffer a 100% reduction in strength or speed (whichever is greater, defaulting to strength if tied) until the chains are broken. These chains also present a danger in that Saera can grab them and use them to attempt to yank and maneuver the person they're attached to.

Shura's eyes narrowed, though not because her attack was blocked... But because this thing continued acting high and mighty! However her eyes opened rather quickly as she felt the energy well within the blade, causing her to almost immediately use her Shunpo to move directly away as the wave erupted from the blade itself. This didn't render her unscathed however, and burn marks across her face and the burned sleeves of her Shihakosho and arms made that evident.
"That... That attack..." She thought to herself, before noticing that her ally was still within point blank range! Her arm reached forth, grasping the chain that connected the two axes and whipping it to the left, causing the chain to snap the axe that had been first blocked back into a secondary side sweep towards the hollow. It was, admittedly, more of an attempt to give Lerna a chance to escape rather than do any meaningful damage at the moment.
This... however... was not what made Shura's thought process kick into overdrive... No it was the proximity of those six orbs. She knew she could survive the blast, she hoped her ally could... but she knew neither could escape the blast radius before they were set off. As she yanked on the chain once more, this time to recall the blade she knew she had to think quickly about her next move. "Take your Will and shove it up your ass!" Shura cried out. She didn't want to do this... She really REALLY didn't want too. But there were few around that would notice such a quick casting... Only the hollow and Lerna.
She had the chance while he was stationary and concentrated, and so words she never thought would leave her lips, words she'd never speak aloud near most anyone...
An unknown to most even within the Gotei, Shura had always despised Kido... thought it was for those who could not hold their own... maybe she was still right about that. However she knew that such an attack, if it hit her, would be devastating. However behind her protective shield she wasn't stationary. She'd already revealed her first kido.
As she finished the spell casting, eight black holes would begin appearing around Metatron, before a ninth one would form and finish the entrapment, aiming to paralyze and hold the hollow in place.

Sustained Techniques
Raijin no Tsume (Thunder God’s Claw) – Shura channels her Reiatsu directly into her Zanpakuto, causing it to ignore air resistance and swing with significantly greater speed and force, able to cut through things that she would normally be unable to even damage. When she uses this technique, a loud roar can be heard emanating from her Zanpakuto, causing shockwaves to reverberate outwards that can sometimes knock lesser opponents within ten meters to the ground.

Kuyō Shibari (九曜縛, Nine Sunlight Traps; Viz "Nine Sun Bind") - The practitioner creates eight black holes with purple outlines which emit spiritual energy in the space surrounding the target, with the ninth black hole manifesting itself in the center of the target's chest, with the intention of immobilizing the target.
Techniques Used
Bakudō #81. Dankū (斷空, Splitting Void; Viz "Airtight") - A defensive wall is created to protect against an enemy's attack. The practitioner creates a translucent barrier in the form of a large rectangular wall. According to 6th Division Captain Byakuya Kuchiki, it can stop Kidō-based attacks with power up to level 89, which is proven when Sōsuke Aizen uses it to block Tessai Tsukabishi's Hadō #88. Yuuto's speed was already considered legendary in Soul Society, amplified by the power of his now-Hollowified body and it was something beyond even that. The advantage that Kisuke had, the sole one that mattered in this instance, was that he knew exactly what his fellow Captain would do. He would go straight for the kill, remorselessly and efficiently. No sooner did those bindings begin to buckle, than the bucket-hatted Shinigami was already beginning his first of many incantations. Twisting his body sideways, he pointed Benihime forwards whilst his other hands gripped the air before shooting forwards.
"Bakudō #79: Kuyō Shibari."
Eight black holes formed in the space directly in front of him, surrounding the space where Yuuto was going to appear, before the ninth one emerged in the centre of the circle and made to lock his opponent in place between all the spinning discs if only for a few moments. That was not to say that the Kido master had held anything back, but rather to speak to the strength of that which he was trying to contain. Still, Kisuke did not spare a moment to study his handiwork. Taking off with a flash step at a blistering pace, he knew that he would not be able to outrun his problems forever but this was a game of attrition and every second that he could spare would pay dividends in the end.
"Shibari, Benihime."
Wasting no time at all, he swung his Zanpakuto from left to right as he weaved a web of crimson energy to form a net between him and Yuuto before launching it forward with the intent of having it double up on his efforts to snare the errant Captain.

At this point in her life Mizu was no longer surprised by the treachery and depravity displayed by Hollows and Arrancar. Witnessing Criella sacrifice her underling made things more difficult, temporarily at least, but she didn't find herself off-kilter because of it. In fact it could even prove a boon to the Shinigami and Quincy duo, despite the latter's attack being avoided by the Arrancar woman. At least now they had the numbers advantage.
Mizu remained steadfast in her defense of the survivors, not wanting to leave her position and give Criella an opportunity to put them in harm's way again. Instead she opted to observe the fight and step in when she could. When the woman began charging her Cero, Mizu knew this was one of those moments. The blond raised her left hand and immediately cast one of the few spells she could use at this range without worrying about Solomon potentially getting caught in it "Bakudō #79 Kuyō Shibari!" Around Criella's body eight black holes emitting a substantial spiritual force would form, before a ninth forms in front of her chest. If this spell cast successfully, it would immobilize the Arrancar within its clutches.

The End of Words [CLOSED COMBAT: Nix + Isane vs Saca Dila][The Black World Arc Event Series]
Time was running out. She could barely breathe. The two of them expelled so much reiatsu that the very matter which made up the surroundings started to disintegrate. This was dangerous ground, and she knew that she wouldn't go undisturbed for long. But even though Nix was still unable to gain a significant advantage over his Inverse, the battle obviously turned in their favor. It was a long shot, but if they'd survive this transitory phase, even that monster couldn't face both of them.
The attack didn't come unexpected, but she clearly underestimated its strength. As she was interrupted and pulled away, she just stared into the humongous white eruption. The released destructive energy was almost unfathomable to her.
"I...I'm allright. But...how can that thing go on like this?" she asked in an intimidated voice, frustrated by the amount of punishment the Saca Dila could apparently dish out. It didn't even seem fazed by the exertion. Then the two of them darted off, violently pummeling each other, the beast trying to extinguish the light of life within the young combatant. Although it pained her greatly to see him get cornered and driven to the brink of destruction, she was too timid to intervene. She felt like a mouse in the giant's playground - a sentiment uncalled for, especially after her steadfast disposal of her own inverse. After collecting herself she continued to use the diversion he created and closed up the wound in her chest, which had drained her reiatsu considerably. Soon, she was free to move - and more importantly, free to think. Isane knew she couldn't overwhelm it with raw power - an idea struck her right before Nix returned to her. What struck her even more was awe, however; her ally was able to conjure the pinnacle of Bakudo without an incantation, and the size of the bindings alone could crush even someone of captain level.
"That...that's amazing...I've neve- EEK!" she screamed in shock as Nix stabbed her in the chest. Her hand folded upon the blade she looked into his eyes, not understanding what was going on. It only got worse as she felt the leaden feeling of a Hollow's reiatsu invade her soul.
"No! NOOO! Let me go! Get that thing out of me!!!" she fought it, but there was no escape. She would have never agreed to this, but with the alien reiatsu came much needed power...and an overwhelming desire to survive. Still, she took two steps back after Nix has finished with the infusion, looking at him with anger in her eyes.
[color=#2EFEC8]"I...I have no idea what you've done to me...but I sure hope it's worth it."
She flashed away as the binding was broken. She gained distance, hid herself behind a curtain of concealing Kido and covered her Reiatsu so that only someone with a very high sensibility could even find traces of it. After the fiend lashed out at her newfound friend, she steeled herself and started the invocation of the mightiest binding and destructive art she knew. She was going all out, putting all her strength into the next few steps of the trap she devised. She knew perfectly that she would likely fall unconscious at the end, being at the mercy of the forces ahead - but she saw no other way of stopping the Inverse's rampage.
"Blacken the waters, you who stand betwixt the box and the bell! Defile the hand that holds the mirror, turn your gaze to the east and devour the very sound of creation! The stone door of heaven eclipses the radiance of life itself. Bakudo #79, Kuyō Shibari!
Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hadō #61 Raikōhō!"
As the Nine Sunlight Traps encased the inverse of Nix, the devastating binding spread excruciating pain across the body of the enemy - and just as the last hole bloomed in front of its chest, the very air became electrized as a lance of golden lightning crashed into the exact point. She wasn't done yet, however. She flashed directly behind it, just as the eruption subsided. A green box of sealing Kido engulfed the insane apparition.
"Roppō Fujin!" Not nearly as strong as the previous two, but that was not the goal of this spell either. This was not meant to seal the inverse away. It was meant to condense her next, final attack. A final flare of sea-green reiatsu swept away the whirling dust and rubble, as her blade pierced the barrier and her palm stroked a glacial shiver into the box.
"Breathe, Itegumo."
The transparent hexagonal seal froze over in mere seconds as the barrier was filled with Itegumo's deadly chill and formed hairline cracks due to the power of the attack. Normally spread over a great area, the spell kept the cloud condensed to provide the greatest level of destruction possible - to flash-freeze the eyes, organs and flesh of the Saca Dila.
This was her last stand. She pulled out the blade, took two steps back from her enemy and collapsed as the world grew black around her.
"Kiyone...Taichou. I tried. I really..."
