To look at The Truth, we must look at him rather objectively. He is, in definition, a being who knows and understands everything that was, is and will ever be. For that matter, he should be completely and totally mad. And he is, but he's become so mad over the entire length of his existence that he's returned himself to a complete state of sanity. For this reason, Truth can be seen as one of the most calm and collected beings that one will ever meet, and it can often be disquieting for some. When one first meets Truth, they are met with a severely disquieting calm. Unlike a lot of calmness, where one may find solace within it's confines, if you are unknown to Truth, and you do not know him, then the calmness that he holds can be rather scary, to a point. The man will be standing there, quiet and calm, staring carefully into a space in front of him, or around you, and you begin to wonder: 'what is he thinking?'

Sadly, even Truth rarely knows exactly what's on his mind. Even if he's appearing to have his mind completely under control, Truth is usually thinking about several different factors of his life at once; and trying to bring them all together in his mind. However, this calmness of his is his way of staying strong for those around him, and he wouldn't get rid of it for the world. Even under this calmness, he will always have a smile on his face; be it kind, calm, or confident, and his eyes will always have that glitter of benevolence to them: could this man ever hurt a fly? Is he even really this omniscient being?

Although Truth does not have a distinct knowledge of the timeline, he knows a fixed point in time when he sees one. And it breaks his heart, every time.

Index Librorum Prohibitorum: So, as we begin, we must understand the first, foremost and most simple thing about the being known as “The Truth”. Okay, so there may be nothing profoundly simple, but the first and foremost thing about “The Truth” is his name. Known as “The Truth”, he exists in order to guard the Root of All Things, which can be simply stated as the collective “force” that holds together all of the events and phenomena of the universe. A place outside of time and space itself, it exists to record and understand that which the world and universe itself has created, as well as records of the infinite other universes that exist within existence itself. Note that this is separate from Earth’s Soul Cycle, and almost completely impossible to even consider going near. As an existence that is not within actual reachable space, not even The Truth himself has actually truly experienced the full majesty of the Root itself, at least not more than once in his entire lifetime. Even those who are brought to see it can only see a certain portion, devoted specifically to this Earth. Few beings can say they are even remotely connected to it.

Now, as stated before, the Root of All Things is a collection of knowledge and understanding, events and phenomena. And The Truth is not only its guardian, but its wielder in battle. As a prize that is worth everything to guard, The Truth will guard it completely with his existence, no matter how much longer it will last. For that reason, he has been granted its power as a weapon. How, you may ask, would you use a collection of something that is simply knowledge as a weapon? It’s rather simple. That knowledge becomes power. That power becomes reality. In essence, the Truth is able to take “that which is an idea”, bring its form and Origin out of the Root, and make it into “that which is real and True”. However, it could never be quite as easy as a simple clicking of the fingers. In order to truly pull forth something from the Root in order to use it in battle, words must be spoken in a language that is far from the tinges of home; read from a tome that could never be memorized or understood by any being, save for the Truth, though he chooses not to memorize such things—there are simply far too many possibilities for him to care.

In all honesty, however, we don’t really need to get into too many details regarding this ability. Although it has a scope of “everything”, we must understand that a lot of the Truth’s codes and morals get in the way, and he has, in fact, over the years, been so inclined as to fit himself with several mental power blocks, to make sure that he never goes outside of his main code: “Do not interfere with their existence.” If Truth were to attempt to affect a being in a way that would destroy their original existence, his body would not allow him to pull forth the power; he would be violently discharged from the system and required to try a different tactic. Manipulating unpowered animals is allowed, though he finds it to be irksome at times—he has, however, summoned an entire forest to his aid, quite spectacularly. Other than that, however, the sky is practically the limit. He’s even been known to summon Cthulhu from the Outer Worlds at one point (in a rather secluded area, mind you).
