“This isn’t the Soul Society.”

Her unwavering tone boomed out like thunder once more. The hint of agitation that lingered within becoming apparent. This wasn’t the Soul Society that she had grew up within. As her golden eyes swept across the expanse set out before her, her lips had long since pulled into a frown of frustration. She was confused as to why these people continued to call this place the ”Soul Society”
because that wasn’t what this place was. She knew her home, she Knew
the soul society. This wasn’t that place that had long been burned into the back of her retina; the place that was etched so deeply within her heart. In her frustration lightning cackled from her bodice, arcing into the air around them, it’s golden hues illuminating the world around them. ”..This isn’t the soul society, yet it is the soul society. . Is it possible that this both is and isn’t the land that i grew up within? Is it . . . Possible, that what they are saying has some semblance of truth within it?
Spurred on by this notion, she needed to see more of this place. She took a step forward, as the fluctuating energy of the grid around her began to try to restrain her movements. Yet as the force pressed against her, she continued to move, her clothing fluttering in the breeze. Her hair whipping about whilst she seemed set on walking further into the soul society. Taking in the sights that surrounded her. Trying to find familiarity in what was completely alien to her. However she didn’t forewarn either of the individuals that had surrounded her. Rather she simply walked forth; which to some may be an implication that she wished to fight. Yet, in spite of that, her expression was a mixture of frustration and confusion even now.
Honestly? She still didn’t believe that this place could be the soul society. She didn’t believe that the place she had grown up in, that she had fought in. That she had lost her parents within, and then lived within for hundreds of years; was the same place as this one. In the soul society within her memories, there wasn’t a massive city like this with a lone ruling organization. There was a plethora of smaller city-states that had been self-governed since ancient times. Strength was respected, yet in her world dishonesty and scheming often came out on top of perseverance and integrity.
The overabundance of raw power that coiled amidst the waves of resisting energy served to cause a trail of sparks across her kimono. The lightning flashing and then curling around her as disruption on a minute scale took place. It dispersed the pressure by a slight margin. As she walked down, the clash of her bodice and the energy barrier would cause sparks to be thrown up in the skies of the soul society. Hues of magenta, azure, and even emerald as well as reds, and other colors thrown up like an aurora. Gradually increasing the pressure against the barrier as she strode forth. Step by step she assailed it, yet it was done entirely without malicious intent. She was focused primarily on finding out just what was here, hiding behind the barrier. Experiencing this strange land on her own, so she could come to terms with the strange place she had come to.
A soft sigh left her lips, and she took yet another step. The force behind her movements now had a surprising amount of strength to them. So much in fact that the spiritual pressure died down. By now she was simply resisting the outward force of the barrier with her body. Her golden gaze focusing inwards before she finally had gotten close enough, her advancements stopping whilst she took in the scenery around her. Taking in every building she could, the initial wave of shock hit her. That feeling when everything you knew had been turned upside down, all your preconceived notions rendered meaningless hitting her. It left her brain reeling and her expression shifting from one i displeasure. Her lips curved into a small round O shape of shock, a breath she hadn’t knew she’d been holding escaping her lips with a hiss.
She had come to the conclusion, she indeed was in the “Soul Society” or something infinitely similar to it in terms of construction. Despite this there was some differences that immediately stuck out to her: The soul society, and the rukongai district. These places seemed to vary from her own world, thus this was her own indicator she wasn’t in the soul society that she knew of. ”..Just where am i then?”
Magnolia thought softly before she frowned deep in thought, even with the barrier pressing against her from all sides. The main reason for this of course was how powerful her physical body was, toned perfectly it was actually rather comfortable in the pressure that pushed out against it.
Slowly as the world around her, with the noise of pressures colliding, and the air whipping about in a frenzy built; her mind tuned it all out. Entering a meditative state she had taken a deep breath, expanding her diaphragm. Slowly she exhaled, and in doing so let the feeling of calm settle over her being once more. She had done such breathing exercises many times in her life, especially when distraught. Which was why right now, she repeated these deep breaths and then shifted her hand to the big bear sword, letting its unadorned pommel rest within her callused hand. The cool feeling of the blade reassured her, that this wasn’t some kind of silly dream. Only after that, did her deep breathing stop, her lips pressing together as she once more looked at the landscape around her.
She took in the varying landmarks, and eventually tilted her head to study the sky above her. Eye’s narrowed as she glanced at the clouds that slid on past, lazy without a care in the world. She took a deep breath, letting the scents around her waft within. After she had contemplated for a moment. Letting out a sigh as she finally stopped freaking out over the fact that for the first time in her life? She was in a different dimension.
