Midori Hayashi

Captain of the Second Division

Dinner with Kento was pleasant. The food was good, the company was good, and as the sun went down, the weather cooled. A calm breeze blew over the patio, causing a slight chill. Midori felt much more at ease now. It was like an old part of her had awakened by taking this chance and opening up today.

She definitely did not beat Kento in eating. She took her time, always did. Some made fun of her for eating as slowly as she did. She didn't care. She enjoyed the few times she could sit quietly and enjoy food. When she finished, she stacked the dishes up and relaxed more, closing her eyes as the breeze caressed her skin. When he spoke up, she opened them again.

"Yeah, you're right. It's about time we called it." she said, leaning back and stretching some, "I actually had fun today, by the way. And don't worry about any of this. They'll pick it up. It's their job after all." Midori made sure to walk Kento back to his room. As she went to leave, there was this moment where she looked back and watched him for a good long second. "Goodnight, Kento." And so she left with a smile, returning to her own home for the night.
