She remained perfectly innocent on her drink. It was really weak and kind of boring but it did taste nice. The mention of her not smelling like she wanted a boy slipped out but Elyss didn't seem to bring it up. Himiko learned pretty early when she came into human civilisation that they didn't really like it when you pointed out if they were aroused or not. Such curious differences she thought.
"Aha~! Great, I'll tell Kokocchi, you should totally meet her sometime. I'll introduce you, you'll get along super duper well Ely-chan, promise. Mhm."
Another drink and the question caught her a little off guard. What did Ely-chan smell like? A question like that could only find it's answer with a bit of sleuthing. Himiko got up and closer, trying to reduce the distance and avoid the other scents she was getting from the room. The fox girl put her face up to Ely-chan, a couple of sniffs were delivered and her ears twitched while processing it. How honest should she be?
"Well, um.. Ely-chan. You kind of.. what shampoo do you use? Do you even do anything for your skin? You smell really sweaty and oily, you smell like a boy except for the fact I can tell that you're a girl."
She insisted, Ely-chan definitely had those kind of pheromones that suggested she was a girl. It was Himiko's job as a fellow woman and new bestie to educate her and save herself the embarrassment of this before someone else realised.
"My my, it's so lucky I decided to take you out. You really need it."
Her words weren't malicious, just said genuinely and thoughtlessly. The consequences weren't considered while she chugged down another few glasses. It was an alarming rate the way she burned through them but they showed no real effect.

Wait. Himiko’s close, too close. In public? Elyss did ask a question that could only be answered in this sort of manner, but they’re in a restaurant with people eating around them. For someone who always has a nonchalant demeanor, Elyss crumples easily when she’s put in a weird situation in public. It proved impossible to not blush with Himiko’s nose blowing air on her cheek. She’ll just blame the alcohol, even though she’s still fully aware of everything happening around her. Then came Himiko’s answer.
She smells like a boy?! “...” Fair. That’s weirdly fair. The redhead doesn’t take care of herself as she should, as a woman. But, come on. Who gives a shit about that kind of stuff when you have to go out and kill Hollows and whatnot? Smelling good doesn’t matter when you live your day to day life working, training, and fighting. A simple bath or shower paired with brushing her teeth and all that other little meager crap proved enough. Though, to Himiko, guess that isn’t enough. Guess clothes shopping is about to evolve into something more troublesome. Is Elyss mad about the assessment? Nope. It’s just the blatant truth, but she’s pretty sure Himiko is also just being an idiot again. The woman probably doesn’t even know how to dress her words up to not piss someone off.
“Really need it, huh?” The idea of meeting someone else like Himiko bothers her. However, this Kokocchi person might prove less ignorant. Only time will tell. Elyss just knows she needs to get out of her flustered funk, so she’d rub her face with her hands and shake her head. Whatever. The bottle is grabbed by its neck and downed till empty. With a hot sigh, Elyss would rise and reach for Himiko’s hand. Lunchtime is over. Surprisingly, her scarred fingers are gentle as she’d grab the other and attempt to pull her along.
“Let’s go.” Yeah, she stinks? She doesn’t have fashion? She’s not the best socially? Fine. Let’s fix that. Himiko knows how, yeah? Why waste anymore time with all the theatrics? Elyss has never felt beautiful. She’s… curious...

Could not be less ready for what happened after she gave her assessment with her keen nose. Ely-chan drank the whole bottle down just like that, that wasn't that considerate, nor was it that appropriate! She probably made the other customers give them such disapproving looks. Who drank down a whole bottle like that. She might've liked another glass of the nice tasting drink but alas, it was all gone by the time she found her tongue again.
"W- wait Ely-chan. I don't know what your style is, I guess mine will will work on you. Yeah. Okay. I just needed to get my bearings. I'm super duper ready now. The best shop I think is this way, some people don't like it but it's just full of such cute stuff. You must see, although.. maybe I should buy you some cleaning things and get you showered first. That'd take forever though, gosh Ely-chan. Don't lemme forget about your hygiene and body care, 'kay?"
On the way to Himiko's shop of choice they were off towards.

Bwah. Fuck the other customers. If Himiko wants more of whatever the Hell they were drinking, Elyss will just buy her it later. Why is the road a bit wonky? She’s pretty sure it’s not supposed to be swaying like that. Maybe downing the whole bottle proved the incorrect decision. Whatever. The redhead knows she’s going to need to be somewhat plastered to enjoy this shopping trip, especially if she’s going to be trying clothes that Himiko wears. There’s no way they have the same style. Himiko and Elyss are way too different personality wise.
“Ready or not, we gots tah get a move on. If ya say ya can make meh cute or whatever, I gotta see it for myself.”
Her words are slurred, of course. Though, it doesn’t seem like it’s affecting her as it would a normal person. Bless her tolerance. Even with everything a tad fuzzier than normal, she didn’t hinder Himiko in the slightest as they made their way towards the woman’s preferred shop. From eating, to shopping, to cleaning. Is Himiko going to make a woman out of Elyss?

Once she gets there Himiko wastes no time. Dragging the swaying Ely-chan from one spot to another, underwear first. It was in the basics. She had to save Ely-chan here, she could only imagine what she was doing to herself under there.
"Hey what kind of underwear do you wear? Oh yeah, what's your size. You look pretty full up in the chest, not like poppin' but kinda full. You get me?"
There was not a beat skipped, it was trained and honed with all the time she spent doing it and with Kokocchi they were unbeatable as a duo. Himiko's eyes were on the underwear, Ely-chan wasn't the adverturous type, probably something more reserved. So no lace or complicated stuff. Keep it simple Himiko!
Panties and bras obtained and into Ely-chan's arms, she was already ditching her to grab some camises and skirts- no, throw these away. Skirts weren't for Ely-chan. Midway she changed her tact and grabbed some shorts, but tights? Maybe she could kill some asymmetrical pants too. This was just so fun, wasn't it?
"Alright. We should be good to get you started off, get in that changeroom missy and strip. Here's your basics."

Eh? Underwear? Is she even wearing any underwear? Probably? Most likely? She’ll have to check. However, she does know that there’s no bra under her uniform. Why would there be? She just uses bandages. A bit primitive, but it keeps her chest out of the way when she’s beating the shit out of something. Himiko’s so fast. Too fast. From underwear and bras to someplace else. Not wanting to trip or anything trying to keep up, she just kept at the spot she was until the other came back with shorts and pants.
“Changeroom?”
Yes. The changeroom. Where else is she going to try these on? In the middle of the store? No. That’d probably get them banned. Where the fuck is the changeroom? Without asking, she just started wandering until she found it. And, once she found it, her first action is to lean against the wall for a bit. Ah, the alcohol is catching up to her. Where is she again? Oh yeah, changing clothes. What the Hell did she even get? This shit is so basic. She was expecting Himiko to give her more sexy crap. Meh.
A few minutes would pass before the redhead emerged from the training room: jean shorts that felt like they were hugging her too tight with a normal white T shirt. “...” She feels naked. Guess she didn’t appreciate how much the Gotei uniform covered until she’s showing most of her skin off. It doesn’t help her self esteem to see that her legs and arms have a nice assortment of scratches and scars. She’s no pincushion, but some might find it a bit of a turn off.
“Himiko? Erm… The bra’s a bit… tight…” She was, in fact, wearing underwear.

While Ely-chan was hard at work changing, Himiko was back on the hunt. There were treasures to be found while getting piles of piles of things she could dress the redhead up in. When she got back and saw the look she had picked out Himiko knew this wouldn't do. Bleh, it was so plain. Was that really the most appealing thing she saw from the pile? Probably. It looked like some basic boy get up, she should remove all the shorts from her ideas. Ely-chan would be too caught onto them.
"Hmm. In the back or pulling down on your shoulders? That's okay. I can get another one regardless. But for the moment I need you to try this dress on. It's blue will go great with that bright red hair of your's. I mean it."
The navy really would go with it, and being the kind of tight dress it was would emphasise the curves Ely-chan had with that toned physique. Don't doubt Himiko's power or wisdom with colours, she was a genius with this. Although she did butt into the changeroom abruptly.
"Hey, you'll need a hand with the zip. Forgot to tell you. So I'm here to help."

She’s a part of the dudes! Of course she’s going to pick the stuff that won’t pull too many eyes. Though, due to her physique, anything even remotely tight on her is going to turn heads. That’s just a nuisance that she has come to accept and has actively worked against. Why is she trying to feel cute again? She can’t quite remember the reason she’s here. She just knows that Himiko wants her to try on some weird blue dress.
“Uh… it was hard to clip the back. Wait! That dress…”
A dress… A dress? Would a dress even look right on her? She’s so… ruggish. This is something for Himiko. She liked the pants and shorts and stuff. But, it’s what Himiko wants so… Well, if the foxy woman is the only one that’ll see her. If Arkin were to show up or something, she’d probably blow up the store and kill everyone in a mile radius.
Back into the changing room she goes, dropping the shorts and taking off the shirt. Ah. How do you even put this shit on? Uh… One leg in. The other leg in. Pull it up. Shoulder strap. Shoulder strap. And then, a zipper? Why is there a zipper back there? How is she supposed to pull it up. And, as if God had sent down an angel to wrestle Jacob, Himiko popped her head into the room scaring the shit out of Elyss. No one has ever seen the redhead jump as hard as she did when she heard the other’s voice.
“Just pull it up…” Elyss’d mutter, finding her eyes moving bashfully to the wall as she turned her back to Himiko. She’s actually rather youthful when her face isn’t forever stoic.

Once inside she was a little surprised. Oh she really was working with marble here. Totally. Even though Ely-chan was covered in all those scars it didn't stop her from seeing the potential, there was definitely someone out there that found scars hot. Himiko stared a little before getting caught out of her surprise at how well she thought it was coming together and nodding.
"Uh huh. Don't worry, Himiko on the job. Also hoick up the dress and sit down, trust me I totally know how we can deal with this."
She peeked out the door, reaching around blindly for a pair of tights and assuming the red head worked for her in this then Ely-chan would have Himiko pulling some tights over her bare legs. It concealed some of the scars, added a little more reserve and refined style to her look while leaving a bit to the imagination. If she wanted something a little more flirtatious Himiko thought about some thigh highs and letting a little bit of her toned thigh peek through.
That sure would look sexy.
"There we go. That navy blue contrasts well with your hair."

The last time anyone put any clothes on her…, well, she was in elementary school. Himiko’s moving with a lot of swagger about her. This and that. That and this. Elyss can’t quite understand how someone could just look and think that this is okay without another thought. How someone could look at her and think, “Hey, this would look mad cute or adorable or whatever.” It’s perplexing and annoying. She’s not sure of her life and of her fashion sense. Himiko isn’t helping at all.
She didn’t like being told to sit, but she sat. She didn’t like Himiko putting tights on her, but she was tighted. She used to like her scars, but now, they’re annoyed, but she’s still scarred. She could probably get rid of these scars, but she knows that she’ll just get more later down the line. Besides, some people would find them hot, yeah? Does Himiko find them attractive? Hot? Whatever term might apply here.
“I don’t know. Maybe it’s contrasting too much. People’ll stare…”
Vulgerous stares too. She’d rather people look upon her in fear or respect over looking at her because a dress or whatever makes her ass stick out. Her arms fold over her chest as she huffs and kicks her bare feet out. What the Hell is her feet going to look like at the end of all this? If she has to wear uncomfortable heels or something, she’s probably going to stick them up someone’s ass.
