Man. He felt weird for bringing up something that she couldn't help with, but she's just too understanding. She's too understanding. Maybe that's why he feels bad. Even on their first real encounter, she gave him the time of day. He had almost squandered it too, but now they're here, and while she's stressing out, he's second guessing his whole life. Pretty pathetic.

He didn't say anything, but his arm had eventually found itself around her, a sudden needy pull making their bodies a tad bit closer. His eyes then moved up to the ceiling, staring, thinking.
