TEN THOUSAND SWORDS
Midori's division sure was quiet, it was a peaceful place where people didn't really rush about to do stuff or everyone was yelling about something. It was a very pleasant environment. One could attribute it to the fact that it was the kido and healing division and recovery probably was done best in a peaceful environment. Erika was laying in the bed that she was provided for her stay as she mused about how the divisions were all just clumped together or some just removed comletely. It shouldn't be forgotten she was not here for the changes to the Gotei. Everything still confused her and she was afraid to venture out most of the time in case she got lost.
I wonder how much longer I am here for, Henrex is around here somewhere or at least I think he is. I should probably visit him at some point. Momo, there's also Momo. Aside from them, who else really was I close to?
When no more names came up Erika could only bite her lip and cringed. "I'm not really that lonely am I?" The shinigami got up and began to get dressed in her clothes, a little glad no one had come and bothered her since she wasn't exactly dressed before then.
Midori. I wonder if she's busy, I don't really know where Tsubine is and Midori's the only other person here I know. She wouldn't mind would she? She seemed awfully nice, she wouldn't mind my company would she? Ah let's just do it. Nothing really to lose and it beats being in bed all day.
Having made her resolve it was time to walk through the hallways -being careful to avoid the other shinigami - until she finally figured out where Midori was and stood at her office door for a moment. It was that moment of hesitation, where Erika was concerned that she might annoy the captain with the interruption. While Midori could easily have sensed her energy, probably even determined who's it was as she just stood there for a moment and then proceeded to knock.
"Midori? I'm sorry to interrupt you. Are you busy?"

Midori Hayashi
Captain of the Second Division
With the excitement that had been occuring over the last week, some peace and quiet was always welcome. Of course, Midori's experience with peace and quiet was always accompanied by papers to sign. She sat calmly behind her desk, her hair pulled back behind her and a pair of glasses hanging barely on the tip of her nose. She was focused on the work in front of her, moving from page to page to read and sign the next document. She finally got to one she had to think about and leaned back in her chair, staring at the name "Shio Mora." Her attention was pulled from it when she sensed a familiar reiatsu outside her office door. She waited, wondering if the knock was coming.
The knock came and Midori stood up, setting the paper face down on the desk, and moving to the door. She cracked it open and peeked through at Erika. "You alright?" she asked curiously. Erika wasn't one she expected to show up at her door when Tsu was around again. Maybe Tsu ran off? "I don't know where Tsubine is if that's why you're here, little one." she said kindly and opened the door all the way. She turned back toward the desk, removed her glasses, and rubbed her eyes. "I've been staring at paperwork too long."
