ENTER THE DEPTHS
Is he just planning on chatting this enemy of ours to death? Can he even do that? Is that something captains can do? If so I will be incredibly impressed.

The powerful enemy in front of Yuki was, for a moment, distracted by someone else. But then, could she blame him? It was after all a captain, and they were much, much more powerful than she was. Even this captain seemed to be of little match to the intruder, as he was flung straight out of the battlefield by the enemy’s punch. If the same had been done to her then she would have surely been taken out of the fight for good. How terrifying. How terrifyingly exciting!
Of course the girl Yuki was planning on acting as a distraction to, or to use as a distraction for herself, was also unsuccessful. In a flash her attack had been countered: the woman’s clone was run through, her weapon captured, stolen from her grip, and then her clone decapitated all in one single fluid movement. On anybody else it might have worked, but this man was truly a monster. He’d even managed to take the time to berate her. What a truly cocky, arrogant, terrifying monster he was.
Unfortunately Yuki wasn’t much luckier in her attempts at taking down this beast of an opponent. With ease her movements were tracked, even while she used a flash step, but that was to be expected given her general lack of movement speed. However her blinding flash of light had at least worked: for a few moments he was clearly without vision! It seemed as though her plan might have paid off! Indeed, it would have if there had been somebody else ready to capitalize on the blinding light. Alas, there was only her, and she was not up to this man’s level.
Still, there was some honor to be had in her attack, for she had actually forced the man to draw his blade and to directly block against her strike! In that moment she felt very proud of herself, even if she shouldn’t have. It was unsuccessful, but it at least reassured her that she could, in fact, harm him. All she needed to do was actually land the strike.
The block made against her blade was not simply something done out of defensive. Instead he converted it into an offensive move, forcing his strength against the tip of her weapon in an effort to parry and bounce it away! His intention, she figured, was to throw her off balance. If she’d been a normal person then it might have worked, but she had her secret weapon: a great four foot long bushy wolf tail. Instantly it flatted out behind her, providing her a much greater degree of balance. The sudden force against her did cause pain to shoot up her arm as her wrist started to take damage, but then she was quite used to pain, and it did not really affect her at all in this case.
Regardless, she decided not to stay put, as the weapon being pushed her way might have soon found itself lodged within her shoulder, and that would be no good. So, to avoid that, she broke away from her attack, sliding across the man’s body towards the side which wasn’t dominated by his weapon. At the same time she twisted her blade inwards, pressing it forward in an attempt to slice across his belly, although her primary motive now was to move to the man’s left side.Dead huh? Maybe so. At least it might be fun.
Again the man started to rant. Hints of annoyance ran through her mind, but in her current form this was fine. It mixed with the frustration of not exactly landing a hit, and with her inability to match her foe. Anger was still too strong a word, but it was getting there, and once it did it would only make her stronger as her ferocity grew greater and greater still.I can let loose. Don’t hold back this time. Everything is game. Tonight you run free Kuchiku.
As she made it to the evil doer’s left side Yuki’s left ear twitched. One of the captains was using an attack. Getting some distance would be smart, but then Yuki always was pretty reckless too. In an instant she came up with another plan. Her objective remained the same: be a good distraction so that the captains could land the big hits. She was a soldier, and so she would play the soldier’s role faithfully. Besides, and maybe this was just her growing aggressive side speaking, but this was just more fun.
It was a good thing Yuki wasn’t facing the captain’s attack; otherwise she might have been blinded. Then again, even if that had been the case she could have used one of her other outstanding senses to do, well, something. Like get away. But, as she wasn’t blinded, there would be no need for such cowardice!Well, here goes nothing!
While Zen’s big flashy scary super-hot bang attack was unleashed Yuki sprang into action, either to act as a distraction for it or to use it as a distraction for her own attack! If anything she would force the man to react to one of their two attacks. She didn’t even notice Henrex’s arrival, or his attacks, or the additional attacks made by the clone wielding Shinigami, but then she was completely focused upon her own new plan, and her inner beast wouldn’t care regardless. Charging spiritual energy into her feet once more, the petite Shinigami launched herself upwards, aiming to leap right over her opponent. However she did not plan on going very far as her now incredibly dense flexible mace-like tail curled inwards with the aim of wrapping around her opponent’s neck, not just to distract him and not just to strangle and puncture his flesh with the sharpened barbs of dense spikey fur, but also to act as a stoppage for the young pup, to halt her from moving any further into the air. A wall of dense energy also formed above and behind her, acting as a secondary method of halting her movements in the air, her petite body slamming into it with quite a bit of force, but it would do little damage to her.
Now briefly frozen in the air over Stefan, the Shinigami unleashed both her feet down as hard as she possibly could, aiming on slamming each into his shoulders. Her primary reason was to try and damage his arms, to make him less able to fight, but she had two other very good reasons for this: first, it would give her something to stand on, and second, the force might help to keep him pinned in place, at least for an instant, which she hoped might help the captain’s attack land a hit. But Yuki had a third attack already set in motion as well, for as she had sprung upwards her Zanpakutō was spun within her hands, twisted around so that the blade faced downwards, and now that blade was driven down towards the back of her enemy’s neck. It didn’t matter if any of these attacks did damage, or if all of them even hit at all. What mattered most was being a distraction, and Yuki was going to make certain that she was the biggest distraction possible!
