A Humble Request [Mizu, Urahara]

"O-okay, right away!" Mizu's confidence still had yet to return to her. Even as she surmised this was just a way to get readings on her abilities, she was still a bit on edge. She was doing her best to focus on the task at hand and not on the fact she was standing feet away from and working with Urahara Kisuke. Come on, get it together Mizu! she thought to herself in an attempt to get past her own neurosis.
Mizu turned away from the Captain and faced the great underground expanse, and sighed deeply to steel herself. When the training targets popped up she knew exactly what spell to start with, one used as a litmus test in the Shin'o Academy to see who would and would not be an adept Kidō practitioner. ""Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" Hadō #31: Shakkahō!" From her raised hand a fiery sphere of energy formed and then launched at the center-most target, and would explode in a powerful crimson blast on impact.

Even in this extremely serious and dangerous situation, Ira's mannerisms, irreconcilably different from their appearance, kept Mizu on her toes. Still, she could not allow herself to be distracted by something like that. Especially not with the apparent arrival of another adversary, this time a Hollow in the shape of a many-eyed hound.
With a nod of her head, Mizu acknowledged Ira's intent to stick around before stepping past her in the Hollow's direction. She held her Zanpakuto in front of her with both hands as her fiery gaze remained trained on the beast. She had to consider her actions carefully given the town was still populated by humans as far as she could tell, but luckily Mizu didn't sense anyone else in their near vicinity. Seeing this as good an opportunity as she'd get, Mizu raised her Zanpakuto above her head and summoned a red orb of energy around its blade Fetch this! "Hadō #31: Shakkahō!" By slashing her weapon downwards Mizu was able to send the flaming red orb directly at the dog Hollow, hoping its on-contact explosion would envelop and destroy the beast.

Seaside Fight Night: Ojo vs Ehefra
OJO | KOGA
Armor? Ojo felt like she had felt this sensation before. Was it through the swinging of her sword. Her knowledge of Quincy is faulty, but she is sure this energy cracking against her fists, bruising her knuckles, is more than just the simple armor Ehefra dressed her arm in. However, her punches still landed accordingly and left her opponent winded as they were meant to. That did not account for Ojo's second folly.
Ojo had hoped Ehefra incapable of using her special tubes without being able to handle them properly. That was not the case, and the pink haired Shinigami learned of this as she felt Reishi gather around her and her opponent. It would seem that not much is required. Note taken.
Blood suddenly spurted from Ojo's mouth though, the sensation of something pressing into her lungs and stomach enough to make her audible wretch up the light amount of blood that had gathered in her stomach right onto Ehefra. Promptly, she is stuck. Her right arm trapped by that claw while the rest of her person was left to rot in whatever sinister Reishi manifestation had clamped around her. Some may have panicked, trapped by their opponent, but Ojo understood that Ehefra found herself in a similar pickle: trapped with barely any room for action.
Also, as if to respond to her opponent's own ramblings, Ojo began to mutter, "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"
She's not particularly strong at using Kido, but with her energy reserves, even someone with little skill as her is capable of doing the basics, red energy cackling in her hand that was now stuck against Ehefra's side. The energy pillowing between her fingers grew until it maxed its size out equal to her capabilities. She could feel its heat singing her fingers, but she held firm to her actions, praying it be just enough to blow away the cage around her and push her as far from Ehefra as possible. She cared not for her own injuries. Her clear mind gave her only one answer out of this situation.
"Hadō #31. Shakkahō!"
Fire erupting around the two, billowing before it exploded, creating a pillar of flames that'd singe and sear anything caught within it.

Amaranta being able to block the spell was unfortunate but not entirely surprising to Mizu. Evidently this Arrancar was quite strong, and if left unchecked could cause untold harm in the future regardless of what she said. By quickly ducking Mizu was able to prevent any funny business as the Arrancar passed over her harmlessly. After getting by her Amaranta was able to duck behind one of the surrounding buildings. From there she spoke again about how she didn't want to cause her trouble, while ending her statement with a thinly veiled threat should Mizu pursue her further.
The threat would be forced to come true as Mizu responded by lifting both her hands in the direction of Amaranta's voice and spoke an incantation "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hadō #31: Shakkahō!" With the incantation boosting it's power, this spell would create a Mizu-sized beam of energy that would rapidly surge in the direction she pointed at and burn a hole straight through the building's walls. She hoped even though she said the incantation out loud, her foe would still be caught off guard by the spell's effect and power. The pillar of energy would be volatile and dangerous enough in temperature and concussive impact to cause noticeable harm, though Mizu wasn't sure what Amaranta's Hierro could protect her from.

The Unrefined Paragon

A battle crazed smile was a bit on his face, Tento's eyes a blazed by the flames of combat. Faster he tried to push his body as his body pumped and he felt a heat rising in his chest. Arm extended out holding his Zanpatuk'o firming as he stared forward. Not daring to falter in gazing at the bright red hungry eyes of the monkey Hollow. attempting to strike down the powerful for form flawed foe once and for all. The Hollow's feral dominance was clear as it slashed upward letting rage fill its mind and body. Its body surging forward as it sought out Tento. Hitting Tento's sword up upward out of its desired path.
A quick realization came when he knew what could happen next. A vicious bite to his body. He could attempt to avoid it, retreating and falling prey to play the defensive role once again hoping to not get overwhelmed by the brutal harsh assault of the beast. Or he could endure, and take advantage of the pure instinct style of this Hollow...
"Tch", sounded Tento in a bit of frustration at this situation. The Hollow may be close to Tento's strength, if not a bit stronger. But Tento knew he was faster, and if he put his spiritual energy into his strike in a steadfast movement, perhaps he could make a timely adjustment. Keeping his hands on the hilt of his blade as the two of them became striking/biting distance of each other. Tento would shift his body using his back foot using his superior speed and hoping his reaction time would be enough! "HAAAAAAAAAA", Tento roard, letting his Reiryoku flaring as he refused to let his will falter. Moving his body to the side into a horse stance the shoulder aimed to be bitten moving back hopefully causing the Hollow to get nothing but air. In a sharp short movement, Tento would bring his sword down, a brown color of his energy glowing lightly around his body and sword. Aiming to cleave though the Monkey Hollow's mask. If successful that blade would cleave clean down through the monkey's body. Mask, chest, and torso; ripping through it's frame. As Tento let out a lion's roar.

All that that slithering careful Hollow could register was the slight quick burst of reiryoku before a flare of electrical energy shocked and sliced through its form. Piercing its mask as the Hollow appeared to look on with wide eyes as if it was in shock. As the potent beam of power continued to fly after it traveled through his body. Going past the building continuing as a make shift blade now as Lerna turned and sweeped sideways, slicing through the building hacking a section of the top off. Little did Lenra know that this action with the wake of the building top to fall as it slide to the side before crumbling, breaking apart and crashing to the floor. This action causing chaos below and in the air, holding the Hollow that was present further away at bay preventing them from getting closer for now.
Upon arrival she would arrive to see the latest stage of Tento and the Monkey Hollow. Whether it was a finishing blow to cleanse the Hollow's soul, or Tento suffering a nasty wound to his shoulder would be seen in time. Hearing Tento's roar a he went in for his finishing blow. In either case, with the sound of her trademark TCH coming once again, as soft as it was, it would register that she was here. Well, her spiritual energy coming closer after doing her Kido made that even more of a clear sensation to him as she shot forward with vicious haste sword in hand.
As speedy at Tento was, it was only a slight advantage. And so he feared that he would only get the chest of the Hollow. However, with Lerna's arrive and approach, he would streak in cleave the monkey with a sudden vertical chop. A well aimed blow that took lethality at the animal's spine shearing a section of its hip, one of its leg, and separating its tail from the rest of its body. A pained roar came but that was all it could do, because with haste at her aid, Tento shifting his weight and sliced up. Bringing his sword back up to cleave through the Hollow's mask.
After the Hollow was finally defeated and cleaned. His sword would stayed raised as he turned towards her urgent voice as she began to speak. Giving him a quick breakdown of the situation at hand but also showing concern for her comrade. A thing that gave him a thankful nod as he gave a sigh as his mind went about sensing the nearby Hollow's energy as he began to speak. "I'm okay, how are you?", first things first. Was to check up on his his teammate was doing. She looked perfectly fine and normal, but appearances could be deceiving after all. Mind and spirit were just as important as the body. So far from what he could tell from his senses, the two Hollows that were closing in were indeed on their way, but slowing down. Perhaps due to the chaos Lerna caused on her way over here. The third Hollow in the highest building was still motionless though.
Alright then...
"Lerna, we are going to retreat to a better fighting location. I don't like the idea of fighting two strong Hollows with a third watching. On the way there I want you to call in to have back up on the way just in case, while we move, I am going to try to do something to lay a trap. I need you to travel ahead of me away from here, no matter what, I need you to keep moving and make sure you have good position", Tento said as he turned to face Lenra. His face holding a hint of his goofy friendliness still but his face was a lot more stern in its 'battle' mode. If this worked for Lenra he would wait until she moved after he pointed towards the direction they would head to. Daring as he was as a warrior, he was not the type to play it risky unnecessary with others lives. If they could get the jump of the Hollows, if, they continued following them. Then that would be what he would aim for.
When their movement began he would follow behind Lenra as stated if she agreed to his plan. Keeping his sword in hand and his senses feeling out for the movement around them. His movement would be deliberately slower than what he could do, keeping a good distance to lurk the two Hollows to him as he began to soft chant a dual enchanting as he layered his Kido. When he felt that the time was right he would activate the next phase of this mission. "Hadō # 12 Fushibi, Hadō #31 Shakkahō ", delcared Tento after taking a step before placing a hand on the spot he had landed in the air. Using his concentration and focus to modify the combine Kidos. Causing Fushibi to be an invisible net of energy that started in the air and expanded to cover a wide range of space before connecting to a few building and surfaces. Shakkahō , was overcharged, running along the created net concealed. Waiting to entangle any caught Hollows before going off in a large explosion that would hopefully put them down, if not, severely injure them before Lerna and Tento moved in to cleanse them.

With Kyokkō's hidden veil pulled all the way back Solomon wouldn't need to pull her out of it's confines, but the following kick came nonetheless and she was only lightly prepared because of his speed. Almost out of reflex Mizu reached for a memory of when she found herself assaulted like this and then proceeded to respond the same way she had before; instead of allowing herself to take a direct hit, all the while hoping she would be strong enough to not get knocked down immediately, she went for a less obvious and riskier move.
With her left hand raised to practically catch Solomon's leg Mizu would channel spiritual energy around her palm and "attempt" to cast Hadō #31. Shakkahō, but the attempt would be in name only; instead of a fireball that would do little to protect her Mizu purposely miscast the spell, causing a significant explosion to erupt between them. If all went according to plan, both would be harmed by the energy and the resulting blast would force them apart, possibly even sending them flying because of it. Pain immediately surged up her arm as her sleeve and arm were burnt with her rear barely cushioning her as she landed hard on the ground a distance away.
"How's that for engaging...?" the blond Shinigami muttered to herself as she dragged herself to her feet, wincing throughout. Mizu forced herself to shake her arm even as it still stung severely, her grip opening and closing as she did so, to push through the self-inflicted damage she had incurred. Though her head rang a little she refocused her gaze on Solomon and stood, Zanpakuto in hand, ready for whatever came next.

A Sternritter... Mizu thought to herself, sizing up her predetermined opponent with great, though measured, curiosity. She wondered what kind of man he was, and if he too was here out of a sense of duty and not blood lust. Either way he would no doubt serve as one of her greatest challenges yet. Mizu's inexperience dealing with Quincies was not something she could arrogantly ignore, and knew she would have to stay on her toes. One thing she could be sure of is this Solomon fellow seemed to manipulate electricity in some way, though she could not ascertain exactly how quite yet.
With a look of determination plastered across her face, Mizu acknowledged her opponent's words with a nod of her golden maned head and prepared for battle. Wanting to start the battle with a bang Mizu sucked in a deep breath of air before releasing it and raised both hands in front of her; from one hand a crimson light glowed brightly, and in front of the other a torrent of wind began spinning. "Hadō #58: Tenran! Upon saying this spell's name the wind would speed up and form an expanding vortex aimed in Solomon's direction. As it made it's way to his location Mizu let loose another spell's name "Hadō #31: Shakkahō!", sending the red light around her other hand into the vortex. Instead of creating a single high temperature beam of fire, the entire Tenran tornado would become enveloped in flames and spread the fire across the pagoda and in Solomon's direction. Mizu continued to hold the tornado spell as their battle began in earnest.

Another day, another Hollow Hunt. Mizu found herself accepting more and more Hollow Hunt contracts, for a multitude of reasons. First, her sense of duty as a Shinigami drove her to hunt these beasts; second, she used them to train and challenge herself; lastly, she had grown to genuinely enjoy visiting Earth lately. Though her visits usually ended in her body getting battered and bruised, she often came across interesting people and as a member of the Gotei United's 8th Division it was important for her to be accustomed to traveling to and from the living world.
This time she had accepted a hunt in Greece, and after a short investigation managed to track a particularly nasty Hollow through the nation's countryside. Recently it had been preying upon people traveling through the area as otherwise there were practically no souls for it to consume with human homes few and far between. Mizu theorized it chose this location to remain anonymous and off the radar of the Gotei United. Too bad for you I'm here, then! the petite blond thought to herself as she narrowly dodged a swing of one of it's long metallic tendrils in place of where it's arms should be.
When another of it's dozen or so whip-like appendages crashed down near Mizu she leapt to the side before bringing both hands up, palm out, and aimed directly for it's head as she shouted "Hadō #31: Shakkahō!" Upon saying these words a sphere of crimson flame formed in front of her hands before launching at the Hollow, exploding into a small inferno upon contact. Unfortunately for Mizu this did little more than singe and disorient the monster, leaving no lasting scars upon it's snow-white hide.
"Tough one aren't you..." she said more to herself before beginning to run in a circle around the Hollow, it's arms narrowly missing her as it struggled to keep up. Suddenly she was stopped in her tracks as one of the tendrils struck the ground in front of her, which gave enough time for another to grab her leg and violently pull her into the air upside down in front of the Hollow's hulking body.
Feeling her foe's tentacle arm squeeze her leg, Mizu wasted no time in fighting her way out of the situation before more damage could be done. This time she said aloud a different spell's name "Hadō #54: Haien!" which created an oblong blast of violet energy that struck the Hollow's body where the appendage holding Mizu met it's torso, burning through it immediately. This allowed her to escape it's grasp as both she and the arm fell to the ground in a heap, though she managed to avoid being crushed by it. With a big of pain still in her leg Mizu raised her Zanpakuto and prepared for a drawn out fight against the now-11-armed Hollow.

Like the other being in the area, it didn't take her long to sense her presence, causing Kitarune to immediately put up her guard. Something was here, and the energy that she felt wasn't from a Hollow. It was...a demon, like Majin. She gripped her staff tighter as she whipped around to try and see if she could make a run for it, escape somewhere and hide her energy -- but the thought quickly was dismissed as the demon closed the gap between them almost instantly.
Tired, exhausted, and scared, Kitarune did the only thing she could think of: attack. The moment that the demon appeared in front of her, she swung her staff, casting a weakened version of Hadō #31, Shakkaho using her Zanpakuto ability, Conduit in order to make it stronger, but at the cost of more energy, as well as a more...unwanted side effect. Smacking Arianda in the face with the weapon, she would be sent flying a good few hundred feet backward, right into the building that she had been resting at.
An explosion came soon after, as she had used the spell in order to unleash a medium-sized ball of red energy, the flames igniting the cold January air and causing a moderately sized explosion. Having closed her eyes and turned her head away to avoid any damage to herself in the blast, Kitarune opened her eyes as her Zanpakuto reverted back to its Sealed State, the woman quickly switching her stance as she held the polearm forward.
Taking very careful steps forward, Kitarune spoke in her mother tongue, yelling at the demon in very angry Japanese. Unfortunately, not everything she said would be entirely coherent, more of angry rambling.
"Who are you!? What the hell is your problem, and why are you here?! Who the hell tries to kiss someone without even so much as greeting them or taking them on a date?! Idiot!"
